Melanie was absolutely fantastic to work with throughout my entire wedding planning process. We met and signed a contract in October 2023 for a December 2024 wedding date. I opted for partial planning as I had booked some vendors already and wanted to share the load in decisions. From the start, I knew Melanie was smart, organized, and had vision. She does an amazing job both advocating for your desires but also incorporating her expertise to give an alternate opinion. As the months continued, I started to feel a little nervous as life continues to throw curve balls. I called Melanie in an emotional pickle and she reassured me. She talked me down, listened to my concerns, and then walked me through a path of next steps to tackle together. On the wedding day, there was a massive curveball that 100% would have ruined my partner and I’s wedding. Melanie mitigated the situation with my husband and father- making sure I did not know what would’ve been a catastrophe. I had the most amazing wedding day ever. It was only till I got home that my husband told me what happened. And how Melanie was a STANDOUT. If you want someone who has your back in the planning months and also can finesse day-of hurdles- absolutely consider Melanie as your number one choice.

Whimsical Events has an amazing team that took so much stress off our shoulders when it came to the wedding. Their planning portal made it super easy to have all of our vendors, decor, etc. all in the same place. Jackie was phenomenal as our day-of coordinator and made it so we could actually enjoy the day instead of stressing out about all the details.

For the longest time I was debating whether or not to get a day-of coordinator for my wedding- I ultimately pulled the trigger and I can’t stress enough how much it helped. From ensuring all vendors (of which there end up being way more than you think) were on the same page, to decor set up, dress bustling etc, and of course ensuring flow of events during the day are perfect, it was absolutely essential, and Whimsical Creative make it extremely easy. We worked with Karli Himarios at Whimsical Creative to plan a wedding in 4 months. Karli was unstoppable in planning and executing the wedding of our dreams. The event was magnificent and our guests were extremely pleased. Karli has a lot of experience and it shows. No matter what questions we asked, she always had cogent, confident responses. Throughout the planning process she followed a preset schedule that gave us time and flexibility to make decisions. She worked around our schedules and it felt like she valued our time. Melanie/Whimsical Creative was a lifesaver for all aspects of wedding planning and event day coordination. She helped us from the start of the planning phase and developed a mood board book for us to take while meeting with vendors. She also had creative suggestions to make the decor customized and on point with the bride's vision of her perfect day. She kept us organized and on task throughout the entire process. Being the Mother of the Bride for a large wedding with close to 300 guests in attendance and a large wedding party, I tended to get overwhelmed and frantic at times. Melanie's calm, methodical demeanor and personal touch was much needed to calm the nerves and stress. Hiring Whimsical Creative to help with my wedding was the best decision I could have made. I had them for full service planning as well as florals and it couldn’t have been better. Karli was an absolute DREAM to work with. She is great at what she does, very professional, and so super sweet. Like I want to be her best friend! She helped me to execute my vision for my wedding day flawlessly. I seriously could not have done it without her. She also worked our wedding on her anniversary! How sweet. Karli and everyone at Whimsical Creative were beyond amazing. I looked forward to every step of the planning process for my wedding and had fun the whole time with no stress. Whimsical Events planned my April wedding and it was a very disappointing experience. When they presented design ideas to me, I felt as if they were offended if I did not like some of their ideas or wanted to change anything. These tense interactions only contributed to me feeling very stressed during the planning process. I am a nightshift nurse who was planning our Conroe wedding from Austin, so I passed a lot of planning responsibilities off to my mom, especially the last couple weeks before the wedding. They were not particularly kind to my mom, and acted like any changes we wanted to make were a huge bother to them. Also, they mentioned they like to be an "advocate for the couple" when family is trying to interfere in a response to my mom's review of our experience with them. If they had thought my mom was going over my head to plan the wedding without my consent, they could have just reached out to ask me, but they did not. On the actual wedding day, Cherish was standoffish toward my mom, and she also managed to offend my mother in law by giving her orders about what she could be doing to help. This only served to increase my stress on the day of the wedding. Overall, I would not recommend their planning services.

Where do I even start when describing how amazing Karli, Cherish, and Melanie are? I was never someone who perfectly pictured their wedding, I just kinda knew what I did and didn’t like at other wedding. Let me tell you- I was BLOWN AWAY by what Whimsical Events came up with. I told Karli to go crazy and work her magic and I’ve been told by everyone that ours was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. Karli is truly the “Patrick Mahomes of wedding planning” as my now husband says. In my wildest dreams I could not imagine a more perfect wedding- all of which I attribute to Karli, Cherish, and Melanie. Karli took my random ideas and turned them into something tangible- she helped me figure out a vibe, a color scheme that I loved, and really helped us figure out what our priorities were. We stated from the beginning that we wanted a party to celebrate with our friends and family and that food and drinks were a major priority. Karli immediately started brainstorming vendors and ideas- things that I definitely would not have been able to do on my own. I personally hate decision making, but Karli made it so easy and I never felt overwhelmed in the process. When it came to flowers, I just knew that I wanted lots of color and creativity- I didn’t just want roses. As soon as I met Melanie, I knew we were floral soulmates. Whimsical doing both planning and florals meant that everyone was on the same page and were working towards the same objective. Cherish was such a calming presence leading up to the big day- the poor woman was answering my last minute emails and assuring me that everything would be okay, and if not, she would handle it. On our actual wedding day, Cherish killed it! Both of my parents have said how impressed they were with the design and Cherish’s direction. Thanks to Whimsical Events, we've received nothing but compliments, with multiple people saying that we had the best wedding they've ever been to. Words will never express the gratitude I feel- I never felt like Whimsical Events were just wedding planners, I felt like they were friends that just happened to put together amazing weddings. My suggestion is to be open-minded and see what Karli can put together- me and my husband both were amazed to see her design plan and she has an awesome eye for design. Hiring them was probably one of the best decisions we ever made and we gladly give them all the credit. They truly helped create the best day of my life, which I never would have been able to have without their ideas and guidance.

We got married at the Crystal Ballroom at the Rice and Whimsical Events is one of the preferred venders. They are the most competent wedding planners! Jen, Karli, and Cherish are amazing talented professionals, and such cool people. They made the whole process of planning our wedding fun and stress free. From every vendor they recommended to every small detail, everything was so amazing. I can’t get over of how perfect was my wedding day was! If you’re looking for a wedding planner PLUS floral trust us and just choose Whinsical Events!! I was always amazed by them but even MORE amazed come wedding day. I can not speak highly enough of Karli, Melanie and the entire Whimsical Events team. We used Whimsical for our decor planning, rentals, bouquets and day-of-planning (which is truly month of planning). My only regret is not using Whimsical from day one to help plan the entire event. They take the time to truly understand your vision, and to make sure you've thought through every aspect of what is needed to coordinate all of your vendors. By working with Melanie, we were able cut part of our decor budget in half by renting through them instead of buying things we wouldn't use again. They are so passionate about their clients and you truly feel like you have one of your best friends by your side doing whatever they can to give you and your loved ones the best day. If you're considering Whimsical, I recommend meeting with them. You will see what we saw in that quick 30 minute conversation - they are professional, knowledgeable, have the connections and the positive energy you want when trusting someone to make the vision you've worked so hard on come to life.

We booked Whimsical Events for our wedding planning and florals and they were absolutely fantastic! Melanie handled our florals and Kasey was our day-of-coordinator. I truly don't think our wedding would've turned out the way it did without their help. Melanie perfectly captured our vision with our florals and created the most beautiful arrangements for our Fall wedding! Kasey literally kept us sane and did such an amazing job working with all our vendors and organizing every detail of the wedding. Just from our initial meeting with her, we knew we were in the right hands and could easily trust her with everything. It was the best feeling waking up the day of the wedding without any stress and we owe it all to Kasey! Overall, this team was such a dream to work with and we can't thank them enough! Now, I'm trying to come up with any excuse to throw some kind of big party just to be able to work with them again.

We used Whimsical Events for design planning, coordination and florals. Karli knocked it out of the park with design and made the entire wedding planning process so much easier by taking that off my plate. If you are not getting full planning done, just the design option was well worth it! Whimsical also did my florals. Having the design and florals through one vendor was so convenient working with Karli and Melanie! I wish I could post pictures, as everything was so gorgeous. Lastly, Jackie and Cherish were A-team coordinators. Jackie helped me leading up to the day by making sure I was checking all the boxes, and had everything ready to go day-of. Jackie and Cherish were so amazing on the wedding day. They truly saved the day by fixing all the things I forgot or messed up. I was amazed by their creativity and positivity. I would recommend this team of all-star ladies to anyone!

Working with Whimsical Events was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. Cherish was my coordinator and she is an angel on Earth! I was able to fully enjoy my wedding day without any stress or worry and I owe it all to her. Melanie fully understood our vibe in the planning meeting and Jackie and Cherish made sure everything went off without a hitch! Even when the bride and man of honor left the ring at the hotel they ran back and got it no questions asked! We couldn't have had the wedding we did without planning and probably not without the planning from Whimsical! Whimsical also did our florals, and absolutely nailed it. I wish I could review them twice because the flowers deserve their own post! We went with a jungly, prehistoric vibe since our wedding was in the museum and it was better than perfect. My bride's bouquet (yes a floral review from a groom, that's how amazing it was) was exactly what she wanted, and the matching boutonnieres were incredible.

Cherish was the main planner and was really helpful. She was super flexible, easy to talk to, organized and really efficient. She was super communicative and great at speaking to vendors. Kasey the second planner on the day of was so nice as well! Guests loved both of them and truthfully made the whole day feel so seem less and I really had nothing to think about other than enjoying the day.

Karli at Whimsical Events was so much fun to work with. We interviewed quite a few planners but as soon as we spoke with her we knew our search was over. It felt like we clicked so well right from the first zoom call. Our wedding day turned out completely magical and exactly perfect for us as a couple. She was totally on board to make it our day when I asked for things like bunch at dinner time, a wedding bounce house, and a ceremony where our guests sat in a spiral. She was so helpful for every step of the process (we went with the full planning) coming to all the vendor meetings, brainstorming with us together and working until she brought every detail of dream wedding to life. Cherish was also fabulous, she came on board our team the last month or so leading up the the wedding, and she and Karli did such an amazing job finalizing every last detail and making sure everything was squared away with our vendors. They really went above an beyond when I lost my grandmother weeks before my wedding and not only were accommodating in changing the times of our meetings, but in taking on those last minute details that were so important to me but that I just no longer had time for. They were both so helpful, professional, and fun during our rehearsal and the entire wedding day. I lost count of how many times I asked Cherish to re-bustle my wedding dress after dancing or bouncing to my hearts content and she was always ready to help me with a smile. I already miss working with them and would recommend them to all my family and friends.

If you're thinking about hiring Whimsical Events for your wedding, DO IT! I worked with them for both wedding month-of coordination and florals and absolutely loved it. Cherish handled everything so professionally and familiarized herself with every contract that I booked even before our first meeting. Seeing how capable she is really gave me confidence in letting her handle all vendor communication during the month of the wedding so that I could focus on other things. She kept up and executed all the little details that I wanted on my wedding day without skipping a beat. She literally made my life SO EASY on the day of the wedding and everything went so smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day! Not only is she super organized and thorough, but she's also just the sweetest person to work with and so easy to befriend. I have no doubt that she's going to continue to coordinate successful weddings and make many, many, many more brides happy, as she did for me! We also worked with Jen as a second coordinator on the day of the wedding. Even though we hadn't communicated prior to the wedding day, Jen knew exactly what was going on, where to be, and what to do. She packed up all of our personal belongings (and we had a LOT) and got them back to us afterward. She and Cherish were really the perfect duo for our wedding day! Even though this is their main coordination page, I have to also say that their florals BLEW ME AWAY!!! My guests couldn't stop complimenting how beautiful the flowers were and they perfectly executed my vision and brought my dream wedding day to life. I loved loved loved the variety of flowers and colors they incorporated into the design and I will be dreaming about those flowers for the rest of my life. Overall, I couldn't praise the work that Whimsical Events did for me more and I highly recommend them to any bride looking for wedding coordination and floristry! 10/10!

Karli is exactly what we were looking for in a wedding coordinator and we could not have pulled off such a fun event without her! We initially thought we could handle wedding planning ourselves but quickly realized how much WORK goes into it. Karli and Melanie are the best! We used Whimsical Events as our planner and florist for both our "micro wedding "and larger wedding celebration. We planned a ceremony with 20 people and a party with 150 people two weeks later. Honestly, we had a limited vision going into the planning and weren't sure exactly what we wanted- nor did we have any idea of colors or anything else. Karli stepped in and helped put together the event we didn't even know we wanted, hitting on all of the little details, and was special to us in the ways that mattered. She helped us to come up with a vision of what we wanted and brought it to life perfectly. We had the most beautiful black and white formal ceremony and a reception full of color! Each event was so much more than we could have ever hoped for. We were lucky enough to have Melanie with us on our wedding day and Karli with us for the reception. They both were so incredible! The girls and their team made everything come together SEAMLESSLY on our wedding day and made sure all of the stress of the logistics and coordination of both days was perfect. They really took care of us and made sure we were able to have an amazing time with the people we love. As a bride and groom, we threw a blank slate at them and they made it all happen for us. We are so thankful for their great work for us!

We worked with Cherish and Kasey (on a venue level) on a wedding just last weekend and it was a great and smooth experience! Finding wedding professionals who are amazing is hard to find, and we can't wait to work with these ladies again next month :) Do yourselves a favor and hire them!

I stumbled upon Whimsical Events by chance but it like destiny brought Karli and I together! Alex (my husband) and I are both resident physicians with pretty busy schedules in Galveston. We decided to plan a wedding in Houston with most of our families from out of town. Karli was extremely flexible with our schedules and made time for us even outside of her office hours. I am not a bride who knows exactly what she wants and Karli always presented us with the right number of vendor options that gave us enough variety but not too many options to overwhelm us. Whimsical Events was the perfect fit for wedding planning for us! We did the day of package and Jackie made the process very easy for us. They also helped troubleshoot so many unexpected things that happened on our wedding day and pulled off a fantastic ceremony and reception! As MOB I wanted a planner that I could trust to make our special day run as care free for us as possible. From the moment we hired and met Melanie she was there for us every step of the way! All of the pricing was fair and transparent with no surprises, and boy, did she and her team deliver! All the pre planning and meetings really paid off because they understood exactly what my Daughter wanted to create for her big day. From the timeline to creating the feel and mood of the day at both the Church and at Sandlewood Manor, Melanie and her team were there for us! I cannot express how important this was except to say that I was so confident that everything would be taken care of that I pulled my daughter aside first thing that morning as we began to get ready and told her to let go of all the things she may be worried about because we had a great team to take care of everything! We felt we could trust them! My goal was to have everyone enjoy the day and have FUN!!! I even got a compliment from the videographer that I was the most calm MOB he had ever worked with and that’s because I knew everything would be taken care of! Thank you Melanie for helping us create such a beautiful and fun wedding, we still get compliments from family and friends that it was their favorite wedding they have attended! As a side note, my son just got engaged and I already told them I have a wedding planner for them, so, here we go again!!!!

Melanie made all of my boho wedding dreams a reality. Her ideas led the direction of the wedding design and made it all come together exactly the way I pictured in my head. From the moment you walk into their offices, you can tell their design prowess. The same shows through in their floral design (as I hired them for both planning and floral). The design of everything from the centerpieces to bouquets we’re all fabulous. The weeks leading up to my wedding were stress free because of these ladies. I only had partial planning, but Melanie contacted all my vendors and coordinated the timeline to perfection. Highly recommend both Melanie and Karli if you’re a bride who wants a stress-free (as much as it can be amiright) and access to some of the top vendors in the Houston area. Not only did she give me a list of recommendations, but they all knew her work and spoke highly of her.

Melanie was great to work with! My daughter and I needed someone to give us direction and give advice and she gave us a perfect wedding day. At the end of the night my husband and I both said we wouldn’t have changed a thing. It was better than we hoped for!

The team at Whimsical Events is simply amazing! We've had to postpone our wedding reception multiple times and Melanie helped organizing the date change with multiple vendors. Choosing Whimsical Events was the best decision we made through the whole wedding planning process! Without them, there was no way we'd be able to put together our wedding vision without breaking the bank! Melanie was our planner/florist and Jackie was our wedding coordinator and they were an amazing duo in making sure we addressed every single detail (no detail was too small!). They helped us stay on track time wise and stay within budget, never hesitating to offer more affordable alternatives to achieve the same effect. We also booked them to do our floral arrangements and it was amazing! I literally gave Melanie a list of adjectives and she was able to capture the feelings exactly! The florals are our wedding were so gorgeous that I was in tears when we entered the venue for the first time. Communicating with them was so easy, they were always so readily available and so knowledgeable that it was easy to talk to them whenever any issues arose! We had so many problems with finalizing our guest list (even up to 3 days till our wedding date) and Melanie and Jackie were able to coordinate with our other vendors so quickly that we were able to settle all discrepancies within the day! My other vendors have also commented on how great and effective their communication was! I could go on and on about how amazing Whimsical Events are, but it would literally be pages long because I'm so grateful that they were able to create my dream wedding! I literally entered the wedding planning process only knowing I wanted a romantic and whimsical event, and they were able to produce a wedding that exceeded all my expectations! My family and friends could not stop talking about how beautiful our floral arrangements were or how classy and elegant the decor was! We just love our team from Whimsical Events and are so so so very thankful to have had them plan our wedding! Words cannot begin to even express our gratitude!

Words don't describe how incredibly happy and blessed my fiancé and I were to have Karli as my wedding planner and Melanie as the florist! I initially came across the company on instagram and felt just drawn to their amazing photos of the past weddings they've done. After the initial meeting, it was set. We absolutely loved Karli and booked Whimsical Events! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Karli was there every step of the way and made me feel less stressed overall. (People who know me know I get stressed easily lol). She not only answered any and every question I had on a whim, but was extremely knowledgeable and was on top of every vendor and contract. I also gave her an overall vibe I wanted of the event, and she did it perfectly!! To a T! She always knew what I wanted or any concerns before I even brought them up to her. Truly a mind reader and knows exactly what her client wants! We had a lot of last minute changes the week of the wedding (extended every vendor 1.5 hours more) and she handled all of this with no issue and well. The day of, I couldn’t have imagined without her. She handled probably more to my knowledge behind the scenes and kept up with my fiancé and I to ensure we were having a good time, enabled alone time, and always helped us with logistics of the day! :) The florals were absolutely stunning as well. I again gave Melanie a few pics and a broad idea but she executed exactly what I wanted for the bouquets and florals throughout the venues. Everyone kept complimenting how perfect they were! The team at Whimsical Events is not only professional and prompt, but extremely accommodating and fun to work with. They made my wedding day perfect. A true vision that I couldn't believe. I can’t wait to refer this company to anyone. I love Karli and the whole team.

Karli and Whimsical Events were amazing for our wedding! We got married at a church then had the reception at the Bell Tower which required a ton of logistic planning and vendor coordination. As soon as I handed it over to Karli about 6 weeks out I really didn't worry about it it at all because she was so on top of everything! Being a bride only once, you don't know what questions to ask so it was amazing to have her help and guidance the weeks leading up to the wedding with final details discussions to ensure the day was perfect. Karli & Whimsical Events were super responsive to all of my questions even before they were technically 'on contract' which I think speaks a lot. The pricing was also super reasonable and I did a ton of research. I can't thank Karli enough and would definitely recommend her as well as Whimsical Events for future brides.

Karli and Melanie are the dynamic duo and we are so glad we did both planning and coordination with Whimsical Events. Our wedding came together like magic. We worked mainly with Karli; She was fun and energetic and great to work with. That she loves what she does shows in every thing she does and she’s great at it to boot. Whimsical Events Melanie was an absolute joy to work with and she knew just how to bring my vision to life. From the first time I met with her I knew she was the coordinator for me. She has a very calming demeanor but knows how to get stuff done. She has a big heart and is so kind and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! Melanie and Elyssa were both present on the wedding day and kept everything running smoothly. They were very quick to fix any hiccups and help my husband and I with whatever we needed! Our day was a dream come true thanks to Whimsical Events!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with both Karli and Melanie on our wedding and I honestly don't know what we would have done without them! We worked with Karli for full service planning of our wedding and she made the entire process easy and fun (despite COVID trying to ruin things). She was my absolute rock throughout the entire process - answering any question I had and easing all my anxiety both throughout planning and on the wedding day. I had so many guests come up and tell me how amazing she was and how all of our events went off without a hitch. We worked with Melanie on florals and she created the most beautiful pieces that really transformed our venue (I still can't get over the hanging arrangement we got married under - AMAZING). Anyone would be lucky to work with these two and I am so grateful that we had both of them on our team!

We worked with Melanie on our wedding day florals. She is very much a sweetheart and wonderful to work with. I gave her a budget initially and she was very good about being conscious of it and flexible with me. Our planner also complimented Melanie and whimsical events which I think says a lot!

Melanie is a gem! She is so sweet and easy to talk to and she made choosing flowers fun. Our first meeting was almost a year before the wedding! It was early in planning and a lot of my ideas/colors changed over time. Melanie was accommodating and excited about my changes. We had several video chats before the wedding to finalize details. The installation for the ceremony was gorgeous, the colors were stunning and the arrangement was nicely done. I loved the installation on the pipe bench with neon sign, it framed the seating perfectly and the colors were to die for! It made for breathtaking pictures. The loose flowers she brought for us to place in the garlands & bud vases were beautiful and fresh, and again – colors were perfect. Melanie captured our vision wonderfully. What would I have done without Karli? Words cannot describe how incredible she and her team were at my wedding. I had multiple vendors come up and compliment her for being so well prepared. I was extremely stressed out but the second Karli arrived I really started to calm down. We ended up being early because she had everything down. She prepared a detailed timeline but when the schedule needed to be altered she had absolutely no issues switching things around. Either her or a member of her team checked on me or my husband multiple times during the reception. There were probably so many speed bumps during the reception that I didn't even know about because they handled it and for that I am forever grateful. I would absolutely recommend Whimsical Events.

What would I have done without Melanie?? We started planning our wedding for September 2020 in December 2019, and had made so many big decisions until coronavirus came along and forced us to make a big pivot. Melanie was there for every meeting and walked me through every decision and contract, making me feel comfortable that we would end up with a day just as we wanted. And we did!! We had a gorgeous wedding that went so smoothly and we walked away from knowing we had had the perfect wedding for ourselves. Her recommendations for vendors were top notch and she truly was in sync with the vision for our day and how to make it come to life.

Whimsical events was absolutely AMAZING during our wedding process! Our original date in April had to be rescheduled to to COVID, and Melanie was so helpful through the whole transition! We had her as our day of planner and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Communication was seamless, and I can not thank her, and Ali enough for their help! Our venue asked us (bride, groom, and wedding party) to wear masks during the ceremony, which was obviously not ideal. She helped us wiggle our way out of it so that we could have our moment not being reminded of the hectic world we’re currently living in. If anything happened behind the scenes, I didn’t hear anything about it because she and Ali just HANDLED it. Melanie even captured our first look on video, because we didn’t have a videographer, and I am forever grateful because I have that moment to look back on! Que the tears! They are what your looking for when looking for a coordinator whether it being day of, or from conception to execution. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I love these girls!! I reached out to Melanie and Karli back in Sept. 19' to help me with my Greek traditional wedding. They did nothing but exceed my expectations! Karli and Melanie both are very responsive and know what they are doing. My wedding turned out beautiful and I could not have done it without their support. Karli was the best decision we made! & we’re still thankful now celebrating our one year anniversary. From the first day we met, she put me at easy and understood my champagne taste on a beer budget! She helped outline when to do what and had perfect recommendations for every vendor hire. We worked in a short 8 month timeline and I never once felt overwhelmed. We chose Melanie to do flowers and she went above and beyond. From just a few Pinterest pictures she was able to make my dream come true and keep me in my budget! Karli and her assistant made sure from beginning to end my wedding ran smoothly and even helped pick up the array of tux pieces that were slowly shed by all my guest by the end of the night. If there is any advice this Type A bride can give you, hire Karli. She understood what I wanted without me telling her!

We used Whimsical Events for partial planning, month and day-of coordination AND florals! From the time that I initially interviewed the Whimsical Events team to the time that we drove away in our getaway car, I was beyond impressed by this team. Their team was so friendly and pricing for services was very reasonable and competitive. We had the pleasure of working with Melanie throughout the entire process – she was amazing! While we did most of the planning on our own, we had Melanie helping to make sure that we were checking all of the boxes along the way. This is not a service that I thought I needed, but I am so glad that we decided to get some help with the planning process. Melanie was very good about asking questions and making me think through things that were not even on my radar. She was so helpful in making sure that things were getting done without being overbearing which I really appreciated – I definitely needed a push every so often. She was always available to answer ALL of our questions and helped us to bring our fuzzy vision to life. Melanie also did our flowers. We were on a relatively tight budget for florals and we were able to do everything we wanted and more without going overboard. We wanted lots of greenery and romantic flowers and that’s exactly what we got. The floral work was absolutely stunning! Lastly, day-of coordination. This was the best decision that we made and was money well spent. A million things could have gone wrong on our wedding day, but we wouldn’t be able to tell you even one. The entire day was absolutely seamless and required zero effort from us. Melanie and her team member, Elyssa, were ON TOP OF IT ALL. They arrived shortly after we did and started working on flowers, setup and making sure that all of our vendors were on schedule and that everything was going according to plan. We absolutely could not have enjoyed every moment of our wedding day without these two ladies. Needless to say, we would recommend Melanie and the Whimsical Events team a hundred times over!
