Melissa and the Whimsique team truly went above and beyond for our special day. Melissa not only designed our amazing invitations & save the dates, she also did all the wedding stationery and paper goods such as food&drink menus, table signs, programs, wooden signs, etc and last but not least, our cathedral style wedding altar! ALL of them exceeded my husband and I's expectations! Melissa helped me bring color to my ideas and knew where to steer me when I was having a hard time explaining my vision or changes to a design. All her designs and works are things we will cherish forever and played the GREATEST role in making our wedding uniquely ours and us! Melissa was so wonderful to work with. She really listened to what I wanted and improved on my vision. I wanted black invites with gold writing and she came up with a way to make them way more affordable and I so appreciated that because she didn't have to do that. She is truly a talented artist. She even created these amazing moody envelopes with a floral liner. I had so many compliments on my invites and all of my paper goods. My seating chart was simply stunning and creative. She was fast and responsive which is so important when planning a wedding. Do yourself a favor and book her ASAP!

Melissa was always available 24/7. She made sure things were exactly what we wanted, she gave creative and helpful suggestions all along the process! She has a great vision of how your stationary suite will fit in with your tablescaping, florals and vision. Melissa was even available for us across the globe and even on vacation! One of the best recommendations and decisions I made was to work with Melissa at Whimsique! From the very beginning to the final delivery everything was perfect! I arrived at my first appointment and Melissa already had ideas on what she thought we could do based on the images from my Pinterest that she found. No one else I met had done this. She proposed several very unique and beautiful ideas and patiently listened to my thoughts, questions, and ideas. Most importantly, she is superbly talented! She hand drew several items for my invitation and wedding suite that were stunning. She came up with options that blew me away. I actually received calls from my guests saying it was the best invitation they have ever seen and it was an experience opening it. Everything she designs is perfect and great quality. Melissa at Whimsique was such a delight to work with throughout the entire design, re-design and refining process. We went through lots of iterations and she always accommodated us. She has wonderful ideas and is incredibly talented. She made the invitation suite process seamless and carried the “vibe” and design concept through the entire wedding and all of its paper pieces. It was a real treat to have everything delivered, assembled, and ready to go. In the end we had a beautiful, custom suite of paper goods that we and all of our guests loved!

Melissa has an extraordinary business. She has found a way to master the balance between the art of her designs with the details of running a successful business. She met with my fiance and I at her boutique in Liberty Station and showed us a variety of paper textures, colors and unique options. My fiance was very particular about the overall look and she was patient as we choose the details. We asked if she could design a monogram for us and she not only made a beautiful design but was able to get it made into a wax seal for our invites. We asked for a wedding save the date in a pinch and she went above and beyond with our request of a simple postcard. She found a way to tie in the style of the casual save the date postcard with our more elaborate wedding invitations. Our guests were stunned with the quality of the wedding invitations. Many said they have never seen invitations so beautiful before. Melissa has a warm personality, was easy to work with and it was fun to exchange creative ideas together. She is professional with her clients, on top of the deadlines, and punctual in her communication. Highly recommend her services!!

Melissa and her team are incredibly talented, professional, and creative! We couldn’t be happier with our wedding invitations… they were stunning!!! We came to Melissa with no real idea of what we wanted other than our color scheme. She showed us examples of past products Whimsique had designed and explained ways we could have what we wanted (for the elegance factor we’d hoped for), but stay within our budget. She was even creative enough to reuse a gold stamp she had made for a previous customer, but tailored it to fit our design and initials by combining the stamp and printing together! It turned out perfectly and was very cost effective. Overall throughout the entire process, Melissa’s communications were incredibly prompt, detailed, and thorough which I greatly appreciated as we were planning our San Diego wedding from Hawaii and the time difference and distance made it challenging working with many vendors… but Melissa made it easy for us. After ordering our invitations and seeing how incredible they’d turned out (the quality was unbelievable and the delivery presentation when we opened the box was a special touch of class), we decided to add on additional paper products to our order to include signs for our ceremony, name cards, and programs. Once again, Melissa did not disappoint… all of them turned out beautifully. So, if you are looking for someone who is creative, responsive, client-oriented, budget mindful, and genuine, go with Whimsique! You will be so happy you did! Absolutely amazing! Melissa is SO responsive - I have no idea when she sleeps. She has such a great knack for design and the paper quality, etc was amazing - we have gotten so many compliments on our monogram and the invitation suite. She also was great at working with us to stay in budget which was extremely important to me. We had to re-print programs at the last minute too because of a flower girl change (absolutely nothing to do with melissa, a change we made) and she was able to get them done WAY faster than I imagined - we still got them like two-three weeks before the wedding. Highly recommend - I hope to work with her again on other paper goods - stationary, etc.

My wedding invitations turned out EXACTLY like I wanted them to! Melissa was on top of it as soon as I told her what I wanted. She got everything to me even sooner than she promised. Whimsique made the most beautiful custom invitations; I can't even count how many people called,txt, emailed me to compliment them. WELL worth the money!

When looking for wedding invitations and other paper goods, I wanted something unique and of course perfect for our wedding. After looking through tons and tons of invitation books I was not finding what I was looking for. I contacted Melissa and after our first meeting I felt like she really understood what we wanted, something a little different and of course with some sparkle. She put together some samples and they were perfect! She was able to work with our budget and give more cost effective ideas that were still able to meet all of our needs. Melissa not only designed our invitations, stuffed them and addressed them, but she also designed our menus and place cards. She even found special glitter paper to use as an accent which was exactly what we were looking for. Working with vendors can be challenging and Melissa was such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her for your every paper need.
