ocations would open up, how many people we could be around, who could officiate, etc. As the world was inconsistent, Faith was our consistency in helping us maintain a plan even if changes had to occur, and that was exactly what we needed. She seamlessly helped us piece together the dreamiest micro wedding! It was not our original vision, but it was the perfect day for us. To have someone willing to help in every avenue and help create your vision, while being a huge encourager as you are trying to navigate your wedding is the best possible investment you could give your big day!
If Faith can get couples married through Covid times, she can do anything!!! :)
This review is long overdue... partially because I am a procrastinator but mostly because it is hard to put into words just how incredible Faith and her team at Whimsy Event Servic...
es are. From the moment we connected I knew I wouldn't be disappointed by working with her. Our large wedding was rescheduled multiple times due to COVID-19 before we decided on a small elopement ceremony in Lake Tahoe with just a few guests. Despite the fact we had never been to Tahoe, Faith was so detail-oriented throughout the entire planning process and I didn't have a single worry. Not only is she extremely organized and professional, but she was also prepared for just about any potential hiccup we could face through the entire process. When planning a wedding having the utmost confidence and trust in your planner/coordinator is crucial - and you get that kind of experience with Faith. Aside from the planning and coordinating, Faith went above and beyond for us the moment we arrived at the airport. She is SOOO kind, thoughtful and just an absolute JOY to be around! Whether you are looking to plan a small or large wedding, I would recommend using Whimsy Event Services 1000X over, you won't be disappointed!

ors, and there's no doubt she cares about her couples. If you're looking for a friend and a wedding planner, you can't go wrong with Whimsey Events!
Faith, is a godsend! She made planning a wedding during a pandemic actually possible! We initially hired Faith for month of wedding planning services. Three months before our wedd...
ing, our first venue cancelled. On a whim she met with us to site see and find a second venue. Three weeks before the wedding our second wedding venue cancelled on us, with in two days she found us our third and final venue (it was the PERFECT venue). Two weeks before our wedding our photographer cancelled on us and unbeknownst to us she already had three photographers lined up that we could pick from. When the day of the wedding came she made everything flow and happen effortlessly! She was realistic about our expectations but at the same time wanted us to get married as much as we did. Having someone care about your wedding day as much as you do is invaluable. Within those three months Faith became apart of our family and we are so grateful for that! We love Faith!

ned our son’s first Wedding and the invitations were sent out when they had to make the heartbreaking decision to cancel it due to Covid-19. That venue later shut down and Faith helped them navigate through some very tough times. Our Bride and Groom ended up getting married recently at a completely different venue and it was the most spectacular and beautiful day you could imagine. Every single detail of this destination Wedding was planned and executed to perfection.
It was also not as easy task as the Wedding had so many moving parts and a very large number of vendors whom had traveled in for the Wedding that Faith also managed. We utilized 4 completely different areas on a 20 acre Winery for the Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony Site, Cocktail Hour and Dinner & Reception area. Faith and her team made it look easy.
During the entire year that we worked with Faith, she was our ray of sunshine who took all of the weight off our shoulders and did all the planning and working with the vendors for us. She is always so upbeat and positive and extremely easy to communicate with. She quickly responded to any and all of the many questions and concerns we had. Faith is truly the most organized person I have ever met and she took care of every single detail for us along with many we were not even aware of until we saw them in action on the Wedding Day. Faith also turned planning a Wedding during a pandemic into a happy time for us.
Our Bride and Groom and our entire family were able to enjoy every single moment of this beautiful Wedding Day because we knew that Faith and her amazing team were in control and that everything imaginable was addressed and in order and anything that came up Faith would take charge and solve before we even knew about it.
I honestly cannot give enough praise to Faith and Whimsy Events. She made our son and our beautiful new daughter-in-law’s Wedding a day that was nothing short of a fairy tale for them. We are all forever grateful to her.

ing. Faith had answers for all of this. When the 2nd California venue cancelled within a month of the wedding date she gave me suggestions in Nevada. It was the perfect location and was available! Exactly what my daughter had envisioned!! The photographer she recommended was wonderful! Faith helped us through the twist, turns and tears of so many changes always with a calm and steadying demeanor. She is a true professional! She covered every detail and the day went smoothly. It truly was a magical moment in our lives and would not have been possible without Faith. We are forever grateful!

ly planned and everything good to go 6 months out, to having to completely replan the wedding top to bottom after deciding that postponing or cancelling wasn't an option for us. Faith and Whimsy Events were invaluable during this process. Faith attended site and vendor visits while FaceTiming us in and went above and beyond to make sure our event went off without a hitch. While we faced a more challenging road to the altar than we thought, we couldn't be more thankful that we persevered and made it through. All of that was made possible with the assistance of Faith and Whimsy Events.

e planning on track and made sure all aspects were covered. She allowed the bride to relax and the time to do all the little personal things she wanted to do. The rehearsal flowed quickly and easily, and the wedding day went off without a hitch. Everyone was where they needed to be. She is extremely organized and her website made all the planning easy. I would strongly recommend her to any bride and groom planning their wedding.

does program management and formerly coordination for recruitment, I knew how important a day-of coordinator would be. Despite how much I could plan and strategically organize on a spreadsheet, I still need an experienced coordinator to make my vision a reality. I spoke with many coordinators, but Faith was hands down the only one I felt a connection with on the phone. I knew after that phone call that she was the one. Even though I didn't hire her as a full on planner, she would constantly check in with me to see how planning was going. One month before my wedding, she had a thorough video call with me and set expectations. I knew then I had nothing to worry about come the day of the wedding. She provided me with feedback on how to make my itinerary more in depth, and she handled my contracts and finalized details with all of my vendors. When my wedding day came, she was a rockstar. I honestly didn't notice any mishaps. Faith and her assistant managed everything so well. She did everything with a smile, was so calm and in control, I couldn't even believe it. When I had a minor bridezilla moment, she even offered me advice and put me back in a good mood! She was by far so instrumental in the success of the wedding, and I would 100% recommend her for any planning and coordination services. Thank you Faith for making me feel like I could let go and trust someone with the details - it's very rare that I feel that way. You made me a happy and stress-free bride!!

r vision - not her own or that of the myriad of people who had suggestions along the way. Jesse and I are not a very traditional couple but Faith embraced our uniqueness and made wonderful suggestions that acknowledged our individuality while keeping to our ultimate goal of a family centered celebration. She helped guide us through all the hiccups and obstacles that come with a wedding and a few bumps that just come with life in general and she did so effortlessly and with professionalism. I never felt judged as she guided me away from some eccentric ideas (bounce house INSIDE the museum we chose for the venue, not my brightest moment). On the day of the wedding she made me feel like she had everything well under control - even with a drunk bridesmaid who nearly missed the wedding entirely and losing every single activity I had planned for the little kiddos in attendance! She made sure my first look photos went off without a hitch and took some beautiful pictures throughout the day to keep me satisfied until my professional photos are ready. She really thought of everything and shared all her insights with both Jesse and I so we could both make informed decisions. I appreciate all her help tremendously and absolutely could not have had the beautiful wedding we were blessed with without her!

e could have done it without her! Faith was absolutely amazing. Things were done before we knew that they even needed to be done. Prompt, direct, organized, fun-loving, and everything we could have ever asked for. Faith, thank you for making our wedding day so special!

my Mom is in Santa Rosa, so we knew we would need to enlist some local help. I am so glad we found Whimsy. Right away there was clear and concise communication and a quick but thorough process to get to know us and what we wanted. One of the things that is so special is that they were thinking about every aspect of the wedding, not just the day itself. I knew the venue, photographer, and food I wanted, but that was about it. Faith had a list of local vendors she trusted and all of them exceeded my expectations. Once hired, Faith handled vendors on the business end, and allowed me to concentrate on the creative. She had a minute by minute timeline for the day that her staff and vendors all had copies of in advance so there was no confusion. On the morning of my wedding, I was able to sit back, sip champagne, laugh with my girlfriends, and not worry about a damn thing. When the doors opened and my dad walked me down the aisle, everything was perfect. The day went by without a single problem - that I was aware of anyway! It was truly priceless. I am so thankful, the day was a dream. I truly do not know how we would have done it without Faith and her staff at Whimsy, she is literally family now. When I said goodbye to her that night, I said, "See you at Thanksgiving."

in favor. As a post father of the bride, I can attest to the necessity and money well spent. Faith's knowledge helping my daughter with her vision, leading my daughter through the details right up to the rehearsal were extremely professional and helpful. I recommend hiring Faith she is a "wedding perfectional and will make your daughters vision a reality."
Thank You, Faith and Mary! I hired Whimsy Events for the Day Of Wedding coordination at our destination wedding (we live in Sacramento, married in South Lake Tahoe), and it was the...
best decision I could have made. I’m a hands-on person, and this was a pretty DIY wedding, but realized I really needed someone I could task with setting up the reception at our chosen location (a local restaurant and brewery that has event space). While I have friends who might have been willing and able to take care of it, I really didn’t want to burden any of my wedding guests. I found Whimsy Events on The Knot, and after reading her reviews (and interviewing her as well as a few others), I was convinced to hire Faith. Faith was great at initiating communication, doing everything she said she would do, and was fantastic throughout the entire process. I was really impressed with the Whimsy Events client portal, which captures every part of the planning from guest list to day-of-decor. The big day came and I was able to focus on just getting ready and making sure I got to the ceremony on time - all other aspects had been planned out and Faith followed my instructions to a T. At the reception, she and Mary were great about ensuring we were on schedule for all the milestones of the evening - firm yet unobtrusive. I am super pleased, and will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs a planner!

nking "Why should I/We pay someone to do what we can do ourselves," I'm going to ask you to sit down, have a drink, and hire Faith Hepner and Whimsy Events.
"But why?" I hear you ask. "Dude that's money I could spend on [insert power tool, golf club, or beer brand here]"
I was once like you. I was That Guy. I am no longer. I'll tell you why:
You think you've got this covered, but I'm here to say, the one thing you don't have is TIME. Having Faith coordinate your wedding means instead of YOU (or, more importantly, your bride-to-be), means instead of getting in touch with the photographer, make up salon, barbershop, shower/brideparty venue, reception venue, wedding venue and every one of 823 other things you had NO IDEA were going to be involved...
...you hire Faith. You have a problem? Call Faith. Have an idea? Call Faith. Want to surprise your bride with something but you can't think of something? Call Faith. Or text her or email, whatever.
Asking my bride to marry me was easy. Convincing me a Wedding Coordinator was a "good idea" took 6 months and a wedding. When my bride was stressed, or didn't know what to do, I said "Hey, maybe Faith knows." Problem solved. She proved her value nearly time and time again, and I, as a dude and a groom and a husband could not be happier at how much burden it took off my spouse as well.
We chose Faith Hepner and Whimsy Events. You should too.
First I want to say. Faith Hepner is AMAZING!
Imagine planning your wedding with your best friend (Girls, we all know that spouses are busy sometimes and we need a MIND-MELDER and ...
Confidant).
When I first mentioned Faith as our wedding planner to my fiance at first he said "I don't know, don't we already know what we want? What could she do that we couldn't?" I told him to just come with me and meet her and allow her to share with us what she has. Let me tell you...His opinion flipped 180 degrees to..."OMG we need her. Your mom is crazy and we need her...She's everything we want."
Back to what I was saying... Imagine planning a wedding with the perfect planner who is aware of your every desire and concern. Faith will sit with you and make sure your wedding dreams come true. She is patient, enthusiastic, great listener and can make sense of your blabbering.
You know that feeling when you plan something so perfect in your mind but when it comes down to the day of and execution, you kind of feel like you have no idea how its going to turn out? (sorry for the long sentence, I'm just so excited) You will have complete trust in her and she will work magic! Her team and knowledge of her bride are impeccable. We love Faith so much. She made the months and days leading up to and during our magical day smooth and worry free. I am a full-time student and needed all the help I could get and my husband is not a planner (haha). She could read my mind!
And when my Maid of Honor decided to "unfriend" me, Faith was there to help me through it as a friend. I would recommend her and her services to everyone needing a Guardian Angel, She is who becomes one of your best friends throughout your experience, and ultimately family.

I never thought I would let someone else be in charge of something so special. Now I cannot imagine planning a wedding without a planner, and Faith in my opinion is among the best of them.
