ems leading up to the day, however, mostly around communication and organization on their end. - We made multiple attempts to set up a planning meeting a couple months before the day. We would receive inconsistent replies when we sent availability and the meeting ended up being very shortly before the event itself due to lack of response. I would shrug that off if we weren't blamed for their lack of response when I had proof that I had replied and they dropped the ball over and over. - We got lectured and pressured to have place cards at the table by the venue owner to avoid "auctioning food" just a few days before. We assured the owner that our caterer (John Serock who was AMAZING) had everything nailed down to avoid that and to be sure all food allergies were respected. I don't know why this was her hill to die on, but it was really stressful 5 days out. - They tried to avoid charging us more than our contract stated for not using their bartender. John Serock (on their own preferred vendor sheet!) included bartending in their package and we agreed to pay the fee for using outside services. They acted like they were doing us a favor for not charging the newer price. We saved at least $1500 by using our own even with the fee. They seemed to forget that his company was even on their vendor sheet and were displeased we wouldn't need to rent everything from the venue because the caterer was all-inclusive. - We didn't get a final invoice for tent, chairs, decor until the night before the wedding when we were really busy, but felt pressured to pay immediately after asking for it for at least two weeks prior. - When we arrived a few hours before the event was to start the venue still had garbage scattered around and flowers up from the wedding the day prior. Our florist had to remove the other vendor's work. One guest noticed trash still present in the garden during our ceremony. While I understand that the owners have full time jobs outside of the venue, it really didn't excuse the attitude we received. All of our other vendors were kind and patient and communication was timely. It's an absolutely stunning location for a wedding, but be aware that you may need to follow up more than with other vendors. We were aware of some older reviews on wedding rating websites with similar issues, but they were older and we had hoped things had improved.

The day of the wedding was amazing and Hannah made sure that everything ran smoothly. The entire team was timely in their communications. We are so excited to go back to white chimneys and keep in touch with the entire team!! We love you guys!!!

I need to speak up for other brides. I was assigned the co-owner of the venue (Jessica) as my coordinator last minute. I had not worked with her in any planning meeting beforehand (I had previously worked with Miriam who was great). I assumed my previous meetings would be fed to her regarding what I wanted & my vision, but the rehearsal would figure everything else out. At the start of the rehearsal, she was nowhere to be found to give direction. Once she finally showed up, she was texting on her phone the entire time and offered no suggestions or feedback as to how people should walk, where they should stand, etc. She generally looked miserable the whole time & I have her in the back of many pictures just on her phone. She then rushed us out after exactly 1 hour, even though we started late because of her. On my wedding day, it was raining all morning & I could not set up the outdoor portion for the ceremony, to which I was told multiple times “don’t worry about it, I’ll handle it.” She was again nowhere to be found all day, except for when she was giving tours to other prospective couples. What she did set up was rushed & not as planned (and she never came and asked me anything). She was walking around in the parking lot on her phone when the ceremony was to begin & my husband had to run up to her to ask if everyone should start (she was supposed to escort us all to our stations - I had to send a bridesmaid to figure out how to get to our starting point without having guests see me) to which she just shrugged and said sure. She had the DJ set up in a totally different place than originally discussed so I couldn’t hear my cue to walk down the aisle. Once she finally arrived, I asked her if I should start walking and all she said was, “well is this your song?” Once it was cocktail hour/reception time, they also did not light a single votive or candle or string light. We were also told she would have heaters outside if it was too cold & my mom had to find her to demand where they were, as people were outside shivering (surprise, she was inside on her phone). I had MULTIPLE people (including other vendors, bridal party, parents AND some guests) complain about her attitude & inattentiveness. We also went through 2 “preferred” DJs, one who took our money and ran & another that never responded to us. The DJ we finally chose (from friends) then had problems hooking up to their equipment, even though we had to pay an extra fee to “allow” him to use their sound system. Luckily, most people did not notice the things that went wrong, but I spent lots of $$$ on all these details that were completely disregarded & she was nowhere to be found for the majority of the day (and charged a hefty fee for her “services,” which was not quoted ahead of time & we were told to just bring her a blank check). So overall, again, beautiful venue, the rest of the staff (and Roaming Libations led by Miriam as the bar staff) was absolutely amazing, but the owner really put a bad taste in peoples’ mouths. I had heard negative things about her from other weddings there but I didn’t really have a choice & thought she would want to do a great job as the owner. I was wrong to not push back & request another coordinator (and if you have your wedding there, request anyone other than Jessica).

ur initial meeting with Jessica went very smoothly. She gave us a booklet and provided us a grace period as to determine if we want to move forward with that venue or not. We did accept because she was very welcoming. However, in the planning process, she did have a planner who was very upfront about doing things in a certain manner to which we were kind of put off on. I did want a certain vision and it did come to fruition in the end however, our wedding day planner Hannah was so accommodating and nice that I could not give her a higher accolade because she does deserve that! The wedding day ran so smoothly because of her, and it was a perfect day, and the best venue to have an outdoor wedding. I could not tell you the amount of feedback we got from the venue being gorgeous. I would recommend this venue for your wedding, but I would also recommend Hannah as your day of planner!

taff were so incredibly helpful and accommodating -- not only on our wedding day, but also throughout the whole wedding planning process. In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, Jessica kept us on track and organized and we felt so grateful that she was also our day-of coordinator! We had a few moments on the wedding day where we were totally unprepared and Jessica fluidly took charge and saved the day. Both my husband and I felt pretty calm and stress-free the entire day and I think that's due in large part to Jessica. We knew she had it all handled and because of that we could relax a little and just enjoy our wedding.  White Chimneys is a stunning venue: The gardens, the barn, the bridal suite ... all of it. You couldn't take a bad pic if you tried! We also loved how much flexibility and choice we had in planning the wedding. We chose our own caterer and food truck, purchased exactly what and how much alcohol we wanted (And saved a ton of money while doing so, btw! The BYOB aspect of WC was a game-changer), had a fantastic band, and were able to utilize essentially every part of the property that we wanted. Plus we had a shot donkey which our guests still can't stop talking about!  Our main goals for the wedding were (a) to get married and (b) show everyone a great time. It may sound like an obvious objective, but making sure all our guests had fun was so so important to us and Jessica and the WC staff really did help us achieve that tenfold. One month out, we're just so happy with every aspect of the wedding.   To all the engaged couples searching for a venue, I genuinely cannot recommend White Chimneys enough! (Though I'm jealous of anyone else who still gets to get married there! I want to re-do and re-live our day over and over and over again!)

Miriam has an eye for color and decorations. She can talk you into or out of something, depending on your needs; she has seen it all! Also, she owns Roaming Libations, a bartending service that can be added on, she did an amazing job with the alcohol estimates and has experience making delicious and creative cocktails to add an extra special touch to the big day. She makes a great sangria and spicy margarita! 10/10 would get married here again.

is a family affair & it shows in everything they do. The barn is gorgeous and spacious. The patio with the tent is a dream, looking out at the surrounding gardens and fields is gorgeous. We toured White Chimneys in the winter. The wedding was June 4th. A summer wedding is spectacular but it would have been spectacular anytime of the year!The bridal suite is incredible. There was enough space to accommodate my daughter & eight bridesmaids, all getting hair & make up done.. They spent the day laughing and giggling-just relaxing & enjoying the day. They were free to wander around, inside and out. It made for a relaxing day. The groom & groomsmen had plenty of space to gather in the groom suite. They were free to play cornhole, sit & chat on the patio, do whatever they desired. The event planning was easy. Jessica made everything simple & kept us on target. One of our goals was to not have to do anything but show up & get dressed on the day of the wedding. She understands & is prepared to get that done. There was no need for a wedding planner as she does it all. We did hire a day of planner, Patty (supplied by Jessica), who was amazing the day of the wedding. She kept everything running smoothly & stayed connected all day. Patty made sure we were where we needed to be at the right time, but she never seemed in the way. We loved her! Jessica has an incredible sense of what is needed & what might be a waste of money. She told me several times, “yes, you can do that, but I think you will find it to be a waste of money.” I am glad I always listened to her advice. She does not nickel & dime brides & families. She has assorted items to add on, but does not do any high-pitched sales. The venue the day of the wedding looks just like the tour. You are not paying separate for the drapery and lights like many other places. The venue is decorated beautifully with the draperies, lights, etc. If there is anything you want or need, ask Jessica, she either has it or knows where to find it. Jessica also supplies a list of preferred vendors but does not require you use them as many places do. We used several of her vendors & were quite delighted with all. Roaming Libations does the bar service, & the bartenders did an amazing job! I was concerned over the bar area as we had approximately 200+ people however, the bartenders were fast, efficient, and friendly. The venue accommodated all our guests easily. There was more than enough room for everyone to gather and dance the night away. Never did we feel as though we were crowded. Should you not be able to use the outdoor space due to weather, don't worry, Jessica has a plan. This is important as she can’t control the weather, but she can control how the events take place. The patio is tented & is large. If forced inside, we still would have had plenty of space for our guests. We had so many compliments about how nice everything turned out. Along the way, we met the entire White Chimneys family, & they are all a delight!!! They just want everyone to enjoy the celebration! Jessica’s dad stopped me many times during trips to the venue and the day of the wedding to see if we needed anything or just to see how we were doing. It is just incredible how much they love what they do! We definitely had the party of a lifetime.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and requires minimal decor if you choose to go that route (we did). We also hired Patty, the day of coordinator through White Chimneys, and at first I was skeptical because we weren't doing anything over the top as far as ceremony and decor but it's been 2 weeks since our wedding and I'm still talking about how amazing Patty was. 10/10 hire Patty!!! TL;DR if you are looking for a beautiful venue that knows what they are doing and has the day of down to a science - go with White Chimneys!

They have a multitude of rentals available helping you avoid having to purchase items you’ll only need for your wedding day. Patty, the day if coordinator, was EXCEPTIONAL! She’s helpful, detail oriented, and most of all such a kind, funny, and warm person. If something went wrong I had no idea because she understood my vision and ran with it. Mariam, the owner of Roaming Libation Mobile Bar, and sister of Jessica, was truly our VIP. We had constructed a full rental kitchen able to feed 150 guests. She was the key part to making my (chef) husband’s wish to cater his own wedding possible. The day ran smooth, the entire staff were friendly, dedicated, and helpful beyond what was required of them. The venue is a stunning slate that you can do whatever your heart desires. I wouldn’t have changed one this about my wedding, the planning process, or the people we hired to help my it come true. Thank you White Chimneys for hosting the beginning of our forever!

Also, the barn has air conditioning and heat which makes it the perfect venue for any time of year. They also have the most gorgeous bridal suite. It is HUGE and has so much space for getting ready. Jess, the owner is amazing to work with. She is so kind and wants to make your day the best it can be. She is constantly adding new things to the venue. You can tell she loves what she does. We hired the day of coordinator from the venue named Patty and oh my gosh she was amazing. She made the day go off without any issues. She kept us on time and made sure it was a perfect day. I cannot recommend them enough! Please please please have your wedding here. You won’t regret it!

We had heard from most of our guests that it was the best wedding they have ever been too and I am confident that one of the main reasons was how comfortable and safe everyone felt due to the venue taking all those precautious to keep our guests safe.

er is most fitting and beautiful to you! Having my wedding at this venue took away so much stress because so many things are right there, you don't have to haul everything the day of the wedding. They have tables, chairs, table cloths, decor, ect. everything you would need, available to rent. Jessica and her team where so helpful on my wedding day. They set up all the tables and chairs, they helped set up wherever they were needed. You also get a list of all the food trucks, caterers, MCs, etc. so if you don't have anyone in mind yet, they have people to recommend! The girls prep room is stunning with an amazing amount of space and mirrors. There is a bathroom and half kitchen attached so you can put snacks, water, food somewhere as you get ready. The men also have a fun space in the upstairs of the barn to get ready in. There is a TV lounge area for them so they won't get bored ;) Having the ceremony and reception together is so much less hassle and is so perfect. Everything you need for a wedding is right there or can be recommended to you. It is a perfect place for a beautiful wedding. White Chimneys made my wedding perfect. I loved meeting up with Jessica as we figured out the details.

This was a day that we will forever remember! The grounds are beautiful and perfect for pictures - spots everywhere!!! oking for, a bit elegant and rustic. We are very pleased with what White Chimney's offered. The newly added bridal cottage was definitely a highlight when my girls and I got ready. Since White Chimneys allows you to bring your own vendors, we were able to get ready onsite and avoid rushing around. The staff went above and beyond with helping us plan and layout our dream wedding. Jessica was beyond helpful when suggesting any local vendors, decorations, and more. Any questions we had were answered with ease. I would recommend White Chimneys to any couple planning to get married. For us it helped create the absolute perfect wedding!

guests on how beautiful, clean, and put together the venue was and we were told by many it was the best wedding they've ever been to (even coming from past DJs who have attended hundreds of weddings). We were so happy with Jessica, Miriam, Patty, and the whole team at White Chimneys... with their help and all the hard work they put in on our wedding day, and long before that (we booked our venue about a year and a half before our date) we didn't stress one bit and couldn't be happier with how our day went. They were so helpful during the whole process of planning and getting things ready and really made sure our day was perfect and the fairytale I've always dreamed of. Jessica and the team went above and beyond and helped me think of ideas of how to organize things and make the process go smoothly so I didn't have to stress at all on the day or in the planning process. Whenever me, my fiancé (now husband), our parents, coordinator, or vendors had questions they were so quick to respond and offer options and suggestions. Even when I had crazy ideas, they made it happen. While I was planning, I saw pictures of donkeys on Pinterest with cooler packs on their backs all decorated and cute carrying beverages for cocktail hour, and knew I wanted this for my wedding but didn't have a clue how to make it happen. Jessica and her team have a donkey, ponies, and other animals on the property and they practiced for days and days with their donkey, Biggie Smalls, and their pony to make this happen for me and make sure the animals were on their best behavior. (Just FYI, we didn't overload the donkey or ponies' packs with drinks. White Chimneys had 2 lovely ladies with them at all times so the animals stayed safe, they restocked the coolers when they ran low and made sure the coolers weren't too heavy for the animals). Also, the staff helped to make sure every shot our photographer and videographers got was picture perfect!! I'm in love with the previews we got back and can't wait to see more. Compared to other venues in the area, White Chimneys is a more elegant barn and outdoor garden wedding venue and their prices really are competitive and much lower than others in the area when you think of all the things they have to offer and the beautiful picture-perfect grounds they work so hard to upkeep and manage. Before choosing White Chimneys we must have visited at least 4-5 venues and as soon as we stepped foot on White Chimney's grounds, we knew that was where we wanted to get married because it was different than all of the other venues we visited. Also, getting married this August, in 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, they gave us peace of mind that no matter what we had to do, we'd get married, have COVID friendly options for our guests so everyone felt safe, clean, and that the day would go on, and that it did. I wish we could have our wedding day again and again.
