I cannot speak highly enough about Lindsay and White Oak Design, Co. I knew from the first conversation we had with her that she was going to be our gal. As a gay couple, it was s...
o frustrating seeing on every website a ‘bride’/‘groom’ binary on all forms and photos. Lindsay’s website was different and that made us immediately feel safe and celebrated. Everybody is different. Ever body is different. I’ll never forget that. And to see gay couples and gender neutral language on all her materials was icing on the cake. And her service is unparalleled. I now consider her a friend and she walked us through each and every part of our planning process, as well as listened to our challenges along the way. Her excellent organization made everything leading up to the wedding so streamlined. As someone who is very adamant about knowing all the details, I was able to totally trust Lindsay with the most important ones and was blown away on the wedding day. Not only was our wedding exactly what we’d hoped for, it was so much more. Lindsay is spectacular, creative, energetic, and so great at what she does. When you look back on your wedding day, you’ll be so grateful that you selected her to curate your magical occasion.
Lindsay was the glue that brought all of my wedding together. Her month of planning took all of my disjointed, vague wedding plans and turned it into a beautiful, memorable wedding...
day. Without her guidance I would have been much more stressed leading up to the wedding. She created a smooth timeline with time built in for important moments. She took on unique challenges and created the perfect solution. I am so thankful she was part of my vendor team. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for wedding coordination.
At the beginning of the planning process, my husband and I were incredibly naive about the importance of having a wedding planner/coordinator. We quickly learned how absolutely ess...
ential this was. Lindsay was immensely helpful in the months leading up to the wedding and even well before that we wished we would have booked the full planning package and gone through even more of the planning process with her. Thankfully, she went above and beyond for us with her coordination package. I was an anxious wreck before every one of our conversations and always left our meetings feeling 100% more reassured and confident with all my questions answered. As a type A person while wedding planning, Lindsay was pretty much the only person I felt confident leaving in charge of our day. Her organizational skills are on point. All of her industry knowledge, guidance, helpful forms, and user-friendly portal made planning significantly easier and more efficient. Not to mention she's also such a genuine and caring person to work with who truly makes you feel valued. Communication was also on point, and she always responded incredibly quickly to any questions we had. Hosting an 'as sustainable as possible within our budget' wedding was a huge priority for us and Lindsay made an enormous effort to make that happen and made sure that goal remained in the forefront. She ensured our wedding weekend ran smoothly and handled so many behind the scenes things I can't even begin to describe. Her set up, design, decor, and bud vase install blew us away. It was way beyond anything we could have imagined. Honestly have no idea how she managed to do it all, but we were so thankful that we had the opportunity to work with her. Cannot recommend Lindsay enough!
Planning a wedding is hard, but planning a wedding from 500 miles away AND postponing it during a pandemic is a whole different level. But none of those challenges phased Lindsay a...
nd our day was absolutely perfect because of her. Her wisdom, guidance, and encouragement are unparalleled and were so needed as a #covidbride. I knew I could call or text at any time as we were planning, postponing, and prepping for round 2. Not only was Lindsay on top of things from the moment we handing things off to her at the rehearsal, but all the little things in that last 6 weeks leading up to the wedding day were easy to take care of with Lindsay by our side. The best thing about Lindsay, though, is that she ensures your day is *YOUR* day, that you get to enjoy every moment and that every detail truly captures you and your partner's love. Every wedding needs White Oak Design Co. and every bride needs Lindsay, and we were blessed to have her as a part of our vendor team!

g day not only absolutely stunning but also completely stress free. I live in Baltimore but was getting married home in Louisville and knew I needed help with the planning process and I’m grateful I found Lindsay. She listened to my vision and worked with all the other vendors to create my “art deco garden party” dream event, I could not have asked for more. I have absolutely no regrets about my wedding day and the choices I made and that is thanks in large part to Lindsay. Her instincts on design are inspired – she made suggestions I never would have thought of that turned out so perfect on the big day. Additionally, her skills with coordination are second to none, she is a boss lady in all definitions of the word. During the planning process she was my rock at all vendor meetings and on the wedding day I literally was not bothered with a single issue – she handled anything that came up while keeping the day on schedule. She’s even a kick-butt seamstress in a pinch – when my bustle started breaking she tacked me up multiple times throughout the night! I am so thankful I hired Lindsay and absolutely think you should too.
Lindsay was an absolute lifesaver when it came to planning my wedding! I met her at a Bridal Show in Lexington, KY and I felt an immediate connection! She was very down to earth......
and even if I had chosen not to use her service she said she would always be available just to listen to me if I was too overwhelmed in planning!
I obviously chose her as my planner and we got started planning soon after my deposit was placed. I told her my must-haves and from there she was able to make what I had planned in my dreams possible within my budget.
Lindsay was there for me every step of our journey. She offered her expertise when I needed it, she stood up for me when I became overwhelmed with our vendors, and she always had a listening ear as a friend!
I cannot thank her enough for everything that she did for my husband and I before, during, and after our wedding! We could not have made a better choice than having her as our Wedding Planner!

No one had to worry about decorating the day of the wedding, she organized all of the vendors, added final touches to things that absolutely pulled the whole thing together, and so much more. families. I fully believe this is because of Lindsay’s services. On the morning of, we didn’t need to worry about odds and ends (ex: getting the guest book to the right table) getting done because we knew she was there executing what we had discussed weeks prior.
She was so sweet as well. You can tell that she loves what she does. She listens to what you want, but she also offers helpful advice based on her experiences.
I could write for days about how much Lindsay meant to our wedding experience. Hire her, and you will be able to fully enjoy your day and focus on what matters.
