White Oaks on the bayou

So Beautiful!!!! I loved our venue it was everything I wanted! everything went smooth and the day of was amazing.

I am SO happy and thankful my now husband and I booked White Oaks as our wedding venue. I probably emailed them a hundred times throughout the process and they answered any little question I had. The day of I was worried because the weather was not in our favor but they made sure to help us the best they could in moving the ceremony indoors. I'm terrible with names especially on such a busy day but our day coordinator was the best. She was so understanding with anything that came up and was so calm about everything which helped me stay calm when things felt like they weren't going as planned. Overall, they are just so sweet, flexible and really care about the experience of the couple. I would 10/10 recommend booking with them! Thank you again White Oaks for such a wonderful experience!

We loved this venue. Everything about it was just beautiful. The lights, the fire pit, everything. Sherri was amazing, she would email me back within minutes to answer all my questions. Carrie was our DOC, she was just fine. Unfortunately you only get one meeting with her (the rehearsal) and this was not near enough time to get her up to date on all plans. Do not have anything specific the DOC needs to do, because you will not have time to tell her. She comes one hour before your ceremony starts and she runs your timeline. Our cake cutting was never properly announced so most people missed it. She did a good job overall with what she had. If we had just had one REAL meeting with just her it would have gone a lot smoother. The bartender you have to hire (only one they allow) is okay but make sure you tell them everything in the moment because the man i spoke with did not give the actual bartender any details so a couple things went wrong there. The security they hired was great, i never noticed him and that is a good thing. Do not turn on the water feature if you want to be heard during the ceremony. We had it on and even with a mic and speaker no one could hear us at all. I wish the coordinator would have realized and shut it off, though i understand why she did not. The man who helped us set up the venue was fantastic and every person I talked to at White Oaks was very helpful. Nothing comes with this venue which was perfect for us to make it our own. The grounds are just incredible and I am so excited to get the pictures back. You should definitely have your wedding here , every single person told us how amazingly beautiful it was. We hired Pier 36 (in fulsheur) as our caterer and even though they are not on their list of preferred contacts they should be! Check them out! They had someone else (bride from the next weekend) come in and measure stuff while we set up day of. I wish I knew this would happen because they were there for at least an hour and kind of in the way. Not to mention our wedding rings were in plain site. They (3 women) took this opportunity to go look through the entire venue again. This was slightly annoying, but not the fault of white oaks. Even with these small things (they really are small, just worth noting) I would not have changed anything, this venue made our wedding very special. Thank you White Oaks on the Bayou!

White Oaks on the Bayou is beautiful, they have a wonderful staff and owner, and I couldn't have asked for a better location to be married and party afterwards. Sherry was perfect to work with and Cari, the day-of coordinator, was very helpful and sweet. Everything was perfect and I can't recommend them enough! The venue is the perfect location for an outdoor wedding, the pergola is a beautiful backdrop for a ceremony, the firepit is so cozy and fun for those during the reception who aren't big on dancing, and the inside is already so beautifully decorated it really needed minimal extra decor on my part. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for the best place to get married!

Rustic chic elegance embraces a waterfront feel sure to please everyone. I worked with Cari out at the venue for a wedding she was coordinating, (I was the photographer) and Cari had every single detail taken care of. In 14 years of shooting, Cari was easily top 5 coordinators I've worked with. She's amazing! The venue is incredible with both indoor elegance and outdoor charm. Every face of the building has been detailed, and we experienced what could only be described as a masterpiece sunset over the water that gave everything that fall pink glow. Would absolutely love to shoot anything Cari is coordinating, and am certain this won't be my last wedding at White Oaks on the Bayou!

White Oaks on the Bayou was the perfect venue for our wedding.The venue truly speaks for itself so with that being said, I dont think we could have found a more perfect venue. It is very affordable for all that it has to offer. Christina was our day of coordinator, she was beyond amazing. I arrived late for the ceremony & she remained patient. She also managed to keep us on track with our timeline. She made me feel like she had been a part of the wedding process all along. I highly recommend White Oaks!!!!

This location is beautiful on it's own and gave us the flexibility to choose our own vendors. The day of coordinator was great and Sherry was awesome. Our wedding pictures turned out beautiful and my favorite ones are the ones by the creek.

I went to a reception here a few weekends ago. The venue is beautiful and has an amazing environment. The staff was very friendly. The planner, Carrie, was very helpful and did a great job of making the flow work for the event. I highly recommend this place!

This place is AMAZING!!! Best spot around Houston to get married. Cari Bickham of the White Oaks staff did an exceptional job at help us get exactly what we wanted, she was extremely detail oriented. We couldn't be more thrilled. Be sure to ask for Cari Bickham, she's the best!

White oaks was the most perfect venue for our wedding! The staff was amazing and Sherry was so quick to reply to my questions. There was never a point where I felt like I was bothering her with questions and she was so honest and fast. We loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors but they still offered suggestions. We loved that within the price, a day of coordinator was included. We had Christina be our coordinator at the venue and she was at the rehearsal to help out our other coordinator and it went all so smooth. We searched for so long for the perfect venue and so glad we found everything we needed with White Oaks. Also working with Maria for the final walk-through was fantastic. She made us feel so at ease and very patient with all of our questions and ideas. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride.

I LOVE THIS VENUE! I am a wedding photographer in Houston and this was where we got married. Everything was wonderful! The staff were a joy to work with. I love the indoor or outdoor option for ceremony. I also love the FREEDOM to choose vendors and construct every part of the day. They hand you a blank canvas and you get to make it something wonderful! HIGHLY recommend this place!

Where to even begin! Lets just say the weather that day was so unexpected but the staff at White Oaks was able to make everything perfect. My event coordinator Christina was simply amazing! I loved her so much. She allowed everything to flow smoothly. LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about White Oaks!!!

White Oaks on the Bayou is such a beautiful and special place. My wife and I fell in love with the venue after our first visit. The venue brings everything together; the photography, the catering, the table décor, the flowers, and the colors. It had everything we were looking for and even more (it is even water front!!). The physical beauty and the well-kept grounds were only half of the equation, the owner / manager Sherry really sold us. She is an unbelievable person and is amazing to work with. Working with her was like working with a friend who truly has your best interest at heart. So many other venues felt cold business with employees and rules that seemed very uninviting. Sherry however was the business, and she is open, friendly, and responsive to anything and everything. She made the whole process a lot less stressful. So, if you want a place that is affordable, beautiful, and amazing please give her a call. We simply cannot recommend her enough.

I loved, loved, LOVED this venue! Gorgeous! We got so many compliments on it! The staff is incredibly helpful and professional and friendly. I really hope I get to come back here as a guest some day. So happy and grateful! ❤️

By far the most amazing wedding venue. White Oaks on the Bayou offers not only a beautiful venue but also a beautiful view. Everyone at White Oaks was so friendly, helpful and accommodating from the first time I went to tour the venue all the way through my wedding day. The venue itself is naturally beautiful and offers lots of space for guest. The first time I toured White Oaks I knew this is where I was going to get married. I had a beautiful winter wedding here! The staff helped me a lot and gave me a lot flexibility. My wedding was beautiful and I didn't need to decorate much at all!
