We had our wedding here in June of 2026. Everyone LOVED the place. Julia deserves a 12/10 for her help. My wife is very detail orientated and usually finds something off, but Julia had everything perfect. Truly remarkable at her job and also an awesome person. Everything with Whitehall and the vendors they recommend was smooth and effortless. They truly made the wedding and the wedding planning as painless as possible. If you currently looking for a venue and aren't sure, PICK WHITEHALL. You will love it, your guests will love it. It's been a few weeks since the wedding and we still hear from our guests just how amazing it was and how amazing Whitehall was.

Another perk is there are very limited items they require you to take home the night of your event. Other than that you schedule a time to pick up your items. Harold the owner is also amazing! He immediately got my maid of honors phone number so he could get us anything we needed while we were getting ready and if he had any questions of how to set up for the event he didn't guess and came up and asked for clarification. If something went wrong during my event I would not have known because Julia and the rest of the staff were on it. I can't say enough good things about Whitehall. I would recommend this place over and over again!

WHITEHALL | Making its home in the heart of Columbia Station, Whitehall combines elegance and modern conveniences with the historic charm of a 1938 school building. Bringing “old school” back, Whitehall’s focus is on customer service and satisfaction, with your personal concierge attending to every last detail.
THE CHAPEL AT WHITEHALL | Whitehall’s 2000 square foot Chapel offers a rustic charm that can only be produced in a 1920’s era building. With 12-foot ceilings and commanding chandeliers, the Chapel gives off a stunning, intimate feel. Located on the same property as Whitehall Columbia, the Chapel offers you the convenience of having your ceremony and reception in two unique, elegant, historic buildings.

With attention to detail, we strive to provide a stress free experience. Our Concierge service is included in our price, from set up to clean up, Whitehall couples don't have to lift a finger. An onsite coordinator is included with any ceremony reservation and rehearsal is always free.
On average our couples spend about 15-20 minutes pre-event at Whitehall. With Whitehall's full service concierge offering our clients can spend time with friends and family and leave the details to us.

ly decided to have a wedding for our families and the memories. Julia at Whitehall made this entire experience such a dream for my now-husband and I. She’s the venue coordinator but is also an angel that every bride deserves in the months leading up to her wedding and on her wedding day. She answered every stupid question I had very quickly, and is on top of things with sending emails to remind you about scheduling your rehearsal, nailing down your timelines, etc. One of the best parts about this venue is that you drop all of your decor off on the Tuesday before your wedding and they set everything up for you throughout the week! I literally didn’t have to think about a thing and could just spend the days before relaxing and tying up loose ends! We didn’t even nail down our vision for the centerpieces and most of the decor until 10-14 days before the ceremony, but Julia absolutely nailed it and everything was so beautiful! The day of the wedding, her assistant, Brenda, checked in on us while we got ready to make sure we were doing okay and she was the sweetest and just as organized and on top of it as Julia was. Before, during and after the ceremony, as well as during the reception, Julia checked in with my husband and I so many times to make sure we were okay and got us drinks if we needed it. She took so much off my plate mentally the week of my wedding and that was just so special and I appreciated it in ways I don’t know how to explain in 3500 characters or less.
This venue has a caterer that comes with it (Taste of Excellence) who were also great to work with, and not having to make that decision was insanely helpful. I mostly dealt with Mikaela and she was very helpful with all of my questions and even accommodated us to schedule a second food tasting (something I don’t think they normally do) because my parents wanted to completely change the food options after the first tasting lol.
Whitehall also has a DJ company included (Selective Sound Entertainment) who were great as well! Their online portal to actually select your song requests is a little dated and, you only get 8 “must play” songs, and the rest are more like suggestions for the DJ during the party but to be honest our DJ Jordan kept it bumping all night and it was SO fun he even had the bartender dancing with us from her station!
I really couldn’t imagine doing our wedding anywhere else. I can’t recommend it enough and I’ll scream it into the sky for anyone who will listen!

pel which was equally as beautiful. The bridal studio was absolutely perfect for getting ready tons of space and even actually hair and make up chairs to make it easier on your stylists. They allowed dogs so our puppy was able to join is which was a huge plus. The reception hall had tons of room and even two bars to cut down on lines. Julia made planning our wedding super special and she did an amazing job. If you are looking for a venue look no further this is the perfect spot. 👌

She made us feel so at ease and much less stressed. You drop off everything to her, she makes it look better than you could have imagined, and then you pick it up all packed. Truly can’t get better than that!
You do have to work with mandated food and DJ vendors - A Taste of Excellence for food and Selective Sound Events for DJ. The food was fantastic but they scammed us out of money by not giving us any of the leftovers because we had it served as family style. As for DJ services, this ended up being fine but we did have an issue with our original assigned DJ and ended up having to get a different one 2 weeks before our wedding day. Even though we had this issue with the DJ and SSE, Julia with Whitehall still made up for it and took care of us.
The only negative thing to say about this venue is that if you want to use any other portion of their building (ie. Bridal suite, outdoor cocktail hour space, etc.) or things such as their chiavari chairs, ceremony arches, cake cutting set, etc.) then you have to pay a lot extra for them. It worked out for us though because we didn’t need most things (besides the chiavari chairs).
Compared to other wedding venues, this place is still incredible and solely for Julia, we would recommend it over and over again!

But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Julia. From start to finish, she was amazing—always one step ahead, knowing exactly what needed to be done before we even asked. She made the entire day run smoothly and stress-free, and somehow always had a drink in our hands when we needed it! Her presence made all the difference, and honestly, we’d book Whitehall again just to have her help.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with someone who truly cares and takes the pressure off your shoulders, Whitehall (and Julia) is the place to be.

As we started planning, Julia was extremely helpful by answering questions, giving guidance, allowing us to visit the venue various times and coordinating with other vendors. During our wedding week, Julia transformed the entire venue space more perfectly than we had even envisioned. Julia assembled 7 Christmas trees without hesitation, as well as placing other decor and signage throughout the space. On our wedding day, she was extremely attentive to us and our guests. When they call themselves a full service venue, they mean it.
To no surprise, we received numerous compliments from our guests about the venue's unique layout, beautiful details, great staff and even clean bathrooms.
We sincerely couldn't have had a more perfect experience and would highly recommend Whitehall Columbia to any couple searching for a wedding venue.

The getting ready space and ceremony space at Whitehall Columbia is absolutely beautiful. as where we were having our wedding. The building is absolutely stunning! I felt no need to add a ton of decorations to my wedding because the entire venue is beautiful as it stands.
Julia was our coordinator through the venue. I can honestly say without Julia I would have had multiple mental breakdowns throughout the planning process. She goes above and beyond and takes care of literally everything you need. Through every issue that arose to my forgetfulness, Julia was on top of it all and truly made my wedding day even more amazing than I pictured it would be.
Whitehall was the PERFECT venue! I can vouch that they are worth every penny spent and more! They treat you like family in the best way. I have and will continue to recommend Whitehall to anyone that asks!

While it was the bridal suites that initially won me over, Julia stole the show in the long run. We were looking for a venue that allowed us the flexibility to choose where we wanted our ceremony, and Whitehall Columbia provided us with the outdoor ceremony option we wanted, but with the ability to move it indoors to the chapel in the event of rain.
They truly have set themselves up for success by becoming a full-service wedding venue. We were beyond impressed with their setup, staff, vendors, and amenities. With an on-site event planner and a NEW bridal studio upstairs available for hair and makeup, this venue is setting the bar high as a new industry standard for providing brides with a stress-free and complete wedding experience.
Harold and Julia were responsive, attentive, and highly knowledgeable. Their work speaks for itself and they did a great job of listening to what our vision was and going above and beyond to make every little detail perfect. The communication from beginning to end was timely and incredibly professional and they set and took down everything so that we did not have to lift a finger.
Our wedding day was absolute perfection and it was in large part in choosing Whitehall Columbia as our venue. With flawless attention to detail and going well above all expectations, Whitehall Columbia earns our highest recommendation!

e as possible. We worked with a venue-provided coordinator to plan our ceremony and reception. It was smooth sailing and allowed me to fully experience the day (rather than stress out about logistics). Initially we were concerned that the venue required specific food and DJ vendors, but these were top notch. We were also able to sample the food and chat with DJ before making our deposit to Whitehall, which was helpful. I can't stress enough how accommodating Whitehall was, and how much I enjoyed working with them. I couldn't imagine having our wedding at any other venue.

During the planning process, the venue was great about answering questions and following up with me. They set everything up and took everything down so that we did not have to lift a finger. I also can’t say enough great things about the day of coordinator, Julia. She is truly the sweetest person. She made sure everything was where it was supposed to be when it was supposed to be there. She made sure the entire day went perfect. We got so many compliments from guests about the venue and how much they loved it. Especially the stadium type seating! We truly believe that our wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was if we did it somewhere else and we are so unbelievably happy that we chose Whitehall as our venue because it really was our dream wedding. Harold and Julia made the entire thing happen and we are forever grateful! We would recommend this venue over and over again!

rtner. The whole process with getting things set up was wonderful after that. I loved the fact that they were clear about their costs up front. No "mystery math" and charges after the wedding for this or that. They are very uplifting and joyful it just brings so much good energy. I brought my own decor. I gave them the basic idea of how to set up everything and they made everything turn out better than I could have ever imagined. They were finishing more updates when we were married in April 2022. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to have our queer wedding at!

The team at Whitehall was so accommodating as we had to reschedule our wedding multiple times for COVID but once June 2021 rolled around they didn’t miss a beat and pulled off the most glamorous wedding of our dreams! They said wedding blues are real once it’s over and it’s true! Working with the Whitehall Columbia team, Driftwood Catering, Melinda’s Precious Petals, and Selective Sound was truly a joy and pleasure. Additionally, the value you receive for the price and only being 20 minutes form downtown is truly unbelievable! I can only hope I will be invited back as a guest in the future to relive it all over again, haha!

ing set up and tear down we couldn't even think about having our wedding anywhere else. We had a beautiful ceremony on their lawn followed by a great reception. Whitehall worked with us when we had to postpone our wedding date due to COVID-19 and was very understanding. Julia was fabulous to work with by answering any questions we had leading up to the day and was very easy to communicate with. On the day of the wedding Julia ensured that everything went smoothly and helped organize the bridal party throughout the ceremony and reception. We are so thankful that Whitehall gave us a stress free wedding day and made it perfect for us!!

g us preparing the “little” details needed for our wedding weekend. However, come wedding day, there were a lot of details that weren’t as discussed and some parts of the decorating and cleaning up process felt rushed and unorganized. Example, our unity candle lighters weren’t placed out (we had given them two and they only used one which wasn’t even ours), the head table meal cards weren’t correct even after confirming with them that they knew about the correct order, just to name a few!
Overall, we rate Whitehall a 4 for our how easy they make the planning process (they set up a lot of the vendors for you), the beautiful ceremony set-up, and the amount of fun we had/flexibility they had on some of the items we wanted.

o hard to work with due to Covid that I could no longer get married there. Harold made the switch so easy and effortless. He was so easy going and easy to work with. Anytime I ever had any anxieties about anything or questions, he was so calming and reassuring and helpful. We planned to have the ceremony outside but the week before my wedding the weather was pretty miserable. We were really unsure what the weather was going to do and not sure how to proceed on whether or not to have it inside or out. He let me make a DAY OF decision so I could wait to see what happened with the weather. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. The weather ended up being perfect and beautiful and I just can't thank him enough for being so accommodating and understanding. The venue itself is gorgeous. I got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was. The food from Driftwood was amazing. It all was just so perfect. Thank you so much to Whitehall and Harold for making my wedding a dream!

nd actually booked with them before I got engaged because I fell in love after the first visit and they book so far in advance! Yes my boyfriend at the time, now my husband, was in agreement ;) I must have emailed them over 100 times for different things, and every time they responded promptly and were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I was one of those Type A control-freak brides and made multiple site visits to see how things would work, and they not only made my vision come to life, but went above and beyond and made it even better! Charles and Harold are amazing coordinators; they made me feel super comfortable and assured me that all my little details would be taken care of and they absolutely were. They really care about their clients and aren't just concerned with running a business. When COVID-19 happened they did everything they could to keep us informed, to accommodate where they could, and to advise us how to move forward when we were unsure. They're so friendly and kind you feel like you're talking to an old friend when you go for a visit. I'm so thrilled we took the risk and kept our original date because it worked out perfectly! Even with social distancing restrictions it was still the perfect day I had envisioned and it made it even more special the people that were there. Their venue is absolutely stunning and there are charming rustic chic details everywhere that set it above other venues I've seen. Everyone said what a beautiful wedding it was, and everything went so smooth that I wasn't aware of any issues at either the ceremony or reception. They are more expensive, but it is so worth it to have their all-inclusive service to take the stress off of you when wedding time actually comes. I could go on and on. Just book them, you won't be sorry!

a wonderful day and cannot thank Charles and Harold enough. Our family and friends still talk about the wedding and how much fun it was. The staff took care of us from start to finish and we did not have to stress about a thing. The hall itself is beautiful and well taken care of.
