odge prior to our wedding which was a huge plus! The new bridal suite is so nice and plenty of space and the guys loved the grooms area downstairs. The venue itself is so beautiful and you don’t need a lot of decor. Lauren was our coordinator at WBL and was very responsive to emails and accommodating last minute changes. She was so great on the day of especially with the changing weather and keeping us informed on our options. Even though it was raining pretty decently, we decided to go for it out at the meadow since that is what we got married there for - the mountains! They had plenty of umbrellas and cushions for guests. The rain let up halfway through the ceremony and it ended up being amazing! So happy I had a second dress to change into though! During cocktail hour we went up to the bridal suite and had our appetizers waiting next to our marriage license and Lauren brought us drinks as well. She even brought a cooler with drinks for right after the ceremony which was a nice touch for the bridal party! We ended up having to switch our first dance to after dinner bc it started raining again - but again Lauren was on top of everything! She didn’t let me or my husband stress at all! Everything ran so smoothly even with the weather and changes. It was great working with the WBL team and they are always so excited about your big day! Also definitely do the llamas! It was a big hit. There are so many beautiful spots for it photos as well.

When we walked in there 2 years ago, we knew it was the venue for us. Now, we will never forget our most beautiful wedding at Wild Basin Lodge.

Some said it was the best wedding they have been to. The whole process was so easy. Codi was amazing to work with.

r coordinator. Having the ability to choose in house vendors was such a game changer and made planning so much easier (from food to bar to linens to Photo Booth and so many others). Also having spaces for bride and groom to get ready on site helped reduce stress and streamline the timeline on the day. The view from the meadow ceremony site really sold us but we loved our first dance at the riverfront site and having the reception in the lodge! Lauren, our coordinator, was such a calming force on such a big day and was so responsive throughout the entire process, answering every little question and putting any worries at ease. wedding planner because having so many things included simplified things and Lauren helped out a ton! She was always very responsive and helpful and really went above and beyond to make it the perfect day! I have celiac so I have to be very strict gluten free and avoid cross contamination. WBL was super accommodating and even gave us a free elevated appetizer for our wedding day since there weren't a lot of gf options in the basic tier. They also made me feel super comfortable with their allergen precautions. Our guests RAVED about the food too! We also loved going up there several months in advance for our private menu tasting. WBL is gorgeous on its own so we did not do much for decorations, which saved us money and time. We did our first dance outside at the river run location while our guests watched from the balcony on the lodge. We wanted it to feel semi-private and having people watch from a distance was great! Our guests also gave us tons of compliments on this because they had a gorgeous view of us with the river behind us. We also loved the setup of the venue with having the dinner space downstairs and cocktail hour/dancing upstairs.

When choosing a wedding venue, we had specific criteria in mind. We wanted a space that wouldn't be shared with another wedding and a team that could transform our vision into reality without breaking the bank. Moreover, we aimed to minimize the number of vendors we had to coordinate with, seeking a convenient one-stop-shop experience. Wild Basin Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we started planning, the Wild Basin Lodge team made the entire process seamless. Working with them was a dream, and they were genuinely committed to bringing our vision to life. I must give special recognition to Hawley Vining, whose professionalism and ease of communication were truly exceptional. Hawley served as our point of contact from start to finish, ensuring that our day unfolded just as we had envisioned. This consistency ensured that our vision was never lost in translation, a rare luxury in event planning. Hawley's presence from setup through dinner service on our wedding day further guaranteed that everything ran smoothly. Although we had an additional day-of wedding coordinator, it's worth noting that the Wild Basin Lodge team had the situation well under control. As a self-proclaimed type A personality with a propensity for handling everything myself, I was initially hesitant to delegate. However, the trust and confidence that Hawley and the Wild Basin Lodge team instilled in me made it easy to hand over all responsibilities on our wedding day. This level of trust is a rarity in my line of work, and it allowed me to enjoy a stress-free day. Now that our wedding day is a cherished memory, we couldn't be happier with our choice of Wild Basin Lodge and Hawley as our hosts. The day proceeded without a hitch, and the Lodge's stunning backdrop provided the backdrop for the most beautiful wedding photos. In fact, I wish I could relive our wedding day repeatedly, as it was nothing short of perfect. While our overall experience was outstanding, it wouldn't be a genuine review without offering some constructive feedback. Our only point of dissatisfaction pertained to the wine selection. While we certainly don't claim to be sommeliers, we do possess a reasonable knowledge of wine. We found that the quality of the wine offerings didn't quite align with the pricing included in our package, and the pricing for special requests was notably higher than the industry standard. However, it's worth noting that, in the grand scheme of the day, nobody at our wedding had any significant complaints about the wine selection. In conclusion, I couldn't recommend Wild Basin Lodge more wholeheartedly, and I sincerely hope that every couple has the opportunity to experience the same magical and memorable day that we did.

p by step what we needed to get done and what were to expect day of the wedding, she set up calls with us and did in person meetings to make sure we were all ready and prepared so when the day came the only thing we had to worry about was doing our part day of the wedding. That doesn’t even begin to cover how beautiful the venue is. If you are like us and love the mountains there is no better to place to get married than in the meadow right under the mountains. We had wildflowers in the fields and beautiful views behind us. Our friends who have never been in the Rockies before were blown away. The food was great, the dancing was amazing, and don’t forget to ask about the llamas!
