to help plan timing of the activities playlists and was very much in tune with our ideas to make the day special. During the ceremony and reception Brian helped keep us on track and did a great job of playing the right music to make sure everyone had a great time. Brian also supplied a Photo Booth that was a big hit and I’m still enjoying all of the great photos. Highly recommend for any event.

DJ who showed up, got most of the ceremony songs right. He also got the major events at the reception right, like first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son dances. What went wrong: I was told DJ Brian would be at my wedding. Instead he sent DJ Josh, who looked more like a nightclub DJ instead of wedding DJ. He played the wrong song for the ring bearers. He setup at the wrong community center for the reception, which caused him to be an hour late getting to the reception and therefore late in getting equipment setup. We paid for a photo-booth, which wasn't setup until 2 1/2 hours into the reception. Photo-booth printer paper ran out and he didn't have more with him. I made a Spotify playlist and he didn't use it at all. He played a couple of random songs that weren't appropriate considering we had 14 kids between the ages of 4 and 15. at the reception. Toward the end of the evening, when many guests had left, he blasted the music louder, causing some of us to go outside for some peace. Of everything that went wrong, not having our playlist used, hurt the most. My mother passed away a few years before the wedding. I had songs on there meant to be tributes to my mother. Also, my family's native language isn't English. The playlist had songs in both languages to honor both our families. When I spoke with DJ Brian after the wedding and explained what happened, he did give me a discount for the inconvenience. He also promised to print and mail the pictures from the photo-booth. Unfortunately that never happened. If you're looking for a DJ and are happy to let the DJ do whatever, you may be ok with WildSide Entertainment. If you need someone who is detailed and will play the music you want, this company may not be right for you.

He was very professional, set up and tore down fast. I gave him playlists for everything and he followed them but also added some songs in similar genres and our dance floor was going all night long! We did run into some snags with our timeline and he was so helpful with helping us rearrange some things throughout the night and making things smooth. Would recommend!

an got the big events right (grand entrance, first dances, etc.) but missed many of the details. I would only recommend DJ Brian to couples who would rather just let the DJ do their thing. Now for more details. What went well: - He kept people dancing ALL NIGHT. We had open dancing from about 8 to midnight at our reception, and the dance floor was packed the entire time. - Before the wedding, we had a phone call with DJ Brian to go over the details. He mentioned that it’s usually around a 30 minute call, but he stayed on the phone with us for over an hour to go over everything in detail. However, as I’ve detailed below, many of the things we discussed never happened. - Reasonably priced What went poorly: - DJ Brian is not as organized as he says he is. Everything below is an example of that. - Incomplete setup. During the phone call and through email/text, we specified that we’d like him to bring the fog machine and disco ball AS SHOWN ON HIS WEBSITE, and he confirmed that he would. He didn’t set up either for the reception, which was a huge disappointment for a reception that was supposed to be Disco themed! He kept saying, “Just give me twenty minutes to set up,” but twenty minutes later, he would say the same thing. - Ignored our Must Play and Do Not PLay lists. Our Do Not Play list was literally one song, the YMCA, but it was played anyway. Maybe 2 or 3 (out of 10) Must Play songs were included. - Ignored our request to play lots of Disco music, and also didn’t set up the Disco ball. We LOVE disco music and told all of our guests that our reception would be mostly Disco, but I only remember hearing a handful of disco songs over the course of four hours. This was probably our biggest disappointment on a day that you can’t just do over again. - “Unlimited Requests”, as shown on his website, isn’t exactly true. He said we could send him a Spotify playlist of our pre-approved music to play at the reception. My husband and I spent a long time and compiled hours of our favorite dancing music that we know our family would love too. When we showed it to Brian, he said “If no one is dancing to your music, do I have your permission to use other music?” We said yes, thinking that he might add in a few extra songs, but at the reception, he really only incorporated a few of our songs and played mostly his music. So not only was the time making the Spotify playlist wasted, but we also didn’t hear many of the songs we were super excited to dance to. - Several times during the night, DJ Brian announced, “Here’s a special request from the bride and groom!” and would proceed to play some random song that we did NOT request. - Our last song of the night got messed up. He played our requested song right on time. Afterwards, the lights turned on and everyone began cleaning, but DJ Brian announced “Let me play one more last song for you while I clean up. Don’t worry, it’s on me!” and played a song we had never heard before. It was awkward, because he phrased it like he was doing us a favor, but we couldn’t say no when everyone was watching even though we really didn't want to dance. If we had to do it over again, I wouldn't book DJ Brian again. I would look for a DJ that doesn’t miss details like “Bring a disco ball” or “play disco music.”

DJ ZIK and Eddie called us for a check in before the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly the day of. They are a great price for their services and I would HIGHLY recommend WildSide Entertainment. If I sound extra, it’s because I really can’t overstate how great they were to work with and how good of a DJ Eddie is.

loor was full the entire night! My husband even lost his phone at one point in the night and Brian went out of his way to make a special announcement to have everyone look for his phone. It was a funny moment and just showed the extra mile that Brian goes for his customers. Another great aspect was how easy communicating was. I didn’t feel like I was being harassed like with other services, he was easy to talk to and he always responded in a reasonable time. The services were affordable and I highly recommend using Brian for your DJ needs!

Brian made sure to play songs from our playlist, but he also read the room and played songs that would get the most people on the dance floor. We had all ages at our wedding (from 3 to 70 years old) and they all were dancing at some point throughout the night! The sound quality was superb with no feedback or screeching, the dance floor lighting was fun, and the smoke machine created a really cool effect! Our experience with DJ Zik was amazing and we definitely recommend him for your wedding!!

All my short notice changes and question was answered and changed so fast! I am writting this on the way to my honeymoon to let everyone know! You will be amazed with their services provided! ls that came down the aisle and each person that was in the wedding party had their own individual song it made The wedding confusing for any DJ but Brian was on top of it. he made the event fun he tried to get people involved which I think was probably the hardest part. people who don't want to get involved usually don't but he made sure they did and found a way to get them all on their feet and in the mood to have some fun.
