The entire process of working with Willow & Thistle was very enjoyable. Steve and team are very nice people who are willing to work with you to get you what you want for your wedding day. I really like how they are open about pricing and about ...what you can do to save money (like buying vases at the dollar store instead of renting them, or buying them elsewhere, which really helped for us in saving some extra bucks!). I really liked our bouquets! Mine ended up wilting a bit by the time the ceremony happened, and then it was pretty droopy once we got to the venue, but it was beautiful. My bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous and held up really well throughout the night, though! The boutonnieres also held up really nicely. The corsages were pretty, but my grandmother's had fallen apart by the end of the night, which was a little disappointing. I was also a little disappointed in our centerpieces. When we discussed these with Steve and team, we envisioned a lot more greenery along our tables, but the greenery only spanned about 2 feet from either side from our centerpieces (the tables were 10 feet long), so it made the decorations look a bit squished towards the middle of the tables. There were also some filler flowers in each flower box that made them look a little bit cheaper (alstroemeria) and less elegant than I would have hoped. I would have preferred it if those were left out and it was just hydrangeas and roses. I definitely did not dislike them, they just were a bit different and less elegant than I had expected. Even my now husband brought it up that the flowers were not what he thought they would be, and here I thought he didn't pay attention in our meetings! Lastly, we added on a spray for our welcome sign a bit closer to the wedding, which was also a little bit lackluster. It had sort of drooped and fell down a bit by the time we arrived to the venue. I really wanted to love Willow & Thistle after reading all of the other great reviews when looking for florists, but for the price we paid, we just weren't blown away at the end of the day.
