Holy Cow! We could not have done this without Katie's help. First of all, she is so extremely knowledgeable about the wedding industry in general. She thought of things that we would not have in a million years known to consider. Second, she enabled us to have FUN planning our wedding! We didn't have to worry about asking our bridal parties or families to help and then worry about them delivering on time because we had a highly capable professional making sure all milestones and deadlines were met. Considering all the things you will spend money on heading towards your special day, hiring Katie was one of the most slam dunk-no doubt about it-absolutely worth it- expenses. Her rates are extremely reasonable/affordable, especially when I think about all of the time she took in meetings, texts, emails, and the day before/day of to make our wedding perfect. Lastly, but maybe most importantly, she is just an amazing woman! Super easy to talk to, and she accomplished the herculean task of getting me (very type-A/used to running the show) to settle into less worrying about the wedding and just enjoying it while she worked. That is something me and my husband will remember and feel grateful for for the rest of our lives - we were truly able to enjoy our big day because we had Katie there to make sure everything was perfect. 1000/10!!! I have nothing but great things to say about these planners. They were worth every penny! On all the planning calls leading up to the event we worked with both Katie and Sara. Sara worked with us the day of. Both of these women are simply the best! They are experienced and did not miss anything. They are so so nice and honestly felt like a part of our family for a time. We always felt much less stressed after getting off the planning calls. The rehearsal dinner and wedding day ran perfectly because of Sara. She was hustling to make sure everything was on time and the way we wanted it. Anything we asked for, she was on it! Based off my description, she perfectly executed our decor so the vibes were spot on. It was so exact to what I was imagining, I was immediately in tears when I saw the venue all decorated. Plus Sara was also the ultimate hype man, pumping us up and making us feel so good about everything. Sara was fun to have as our day of planner, but honestly also fun to have as a guest. Genuinely would be friends with these women, they are just amazing.

Our wedding day was absolutely magical and we owe it all to Katie from Willow and Waylon Events. From the moment we met Katie, her commitment to perfection and attention to detail shone through every step of the way which spoke to my very type A personality. She truly made the whole experience stress-free by keeping us on a timeline, keeping track of all of our vendors and given that we both have very hectic work schedules on top of moving out of state prior to the wedding, she dealt with all of the vendors for us. Not to mention when one coordinator from one of our vendors was not meeting her standards, she took to initiative to rectify the situation by contacting the company and changing coordinators for us to ensure we had the best possible experience. She was with us every step of the way with multiple regular check-ins over the year of planning and was by my side through the wedding day as a calming presence to keep everyone on track. Above all, she is such a kind and thoughtful human being and in general, lovely to work with. I can't give Katie and her company higher praise, I would not have been able to get through planning our wedding and wedding day without her.

We were so incredibly blessed to have worked with Katie as our wedding coordinator. From start to finish she was professional, friendly, organized, detailed oriented, flexible and always available. As we started wedding planning, we knew we wanted to hire a wedding coordinator, but Katie did so much more than we could have imagined. On each Zoom call, she helped keep our planning on track, shared new and fun ideas when we were unsure of what we wanted, and gave amazing recommendations. There is a ridiculous amount of details that comes with planning a wedding, and we literally could not have handled it on our own; Katie not only helped us plan a beautiful wedding day, but she also helped us actually execute it. She truly listened to us when discussing what we wanted for our day and offered priceless advice, as well as several options for highly rated vendors based on our interests and budget (we did choose 3 vendors she suggested and loved them, and I already recommended them to others planning their wedding). There were many times where she pointed out crucial missing details that we didn't even realize we needed to pull everything off. Additionally, she helped keep us on track with our planning by sharing timelines and charts for us to fill in and use as guidelines. Katie was a huge help leading up to the wedding and she coordinated everything on the actual day; she set up our venue décor, contacted and kept track of all vendors, ensured the seating chart and menu was correct, ensured we stuck to our timeline, helped pack up all our stuff at the end of the night, and even bustled my dress. She did so much more than this but these are some big ticket items. I would re-hire her in a heartbeat!

Katie was by far the best vendor we worked with for our wedding in September 2022 in Oconomowoc, WI. My husband and I both agreed that the effort, work, and professionalism shown by Katie consistently was worth more than double what she charged for her services. Our wedding would not have been the most perfect, stress-free day that it was without Katie. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. I wish that I could hire Katie to coordinate every event that I have for the rest of my life. Out of every single wedding vendor, she was the most valuable for the money that was spent. I often found myself pleasantly shocked at all of the little things that she took off of my hands so that I could just enjoy my day. Something as simple as asking who I was looking for while I was wandering around with an ankle bracelet in my hand, looking for my bridesmaid. She took the ankle bracelet from me and told me that she would take care of getting it to my bridesmaid so that I could continue enjoying my wedding day. It was the little things like this that truly made Katie amazing. Her attention to detail was impeccable. I swear she must have always had one eye on me to make sure that I was okay and didn't need anything. She saved the day when the wrong color napkins were laid out. She grabbed my bridal bouquet from me and handed me the correct one to throw, just in time. She walked us through our cake cutting. She walked along the buffet with me and held my plate and carried it to my seat. She fetched us drinks. She walked our kids and their babysitter to the car when it was time for them to leave. She had my speech ready to hand to me as soon as I needed it. She decorated, tore down, cleaned up. She made things look better than I had anticipated. She made things WORK. I'm honestly wondering if she has like two extra clones of herself because I don't know one person did it all so flawlessly. Thank you for making my night perfect Katie!

Katie was great. There are so many moving pieces before a wedding and even more the day of and she keeps everything and everyone calm and organized. She took care of every detail. I could not have survived my wedding without Katie. If I could give her ten stars, I would. She is absolutely wonderful; going above and beyond what any other day of planner I’ve encountered does. Katie was involved with every aspect of my wedding. She made planning a wedding from a different city easy. We had multiple FaceTime/phone calls that started months before the big day in addition to dozens of emails complete with the checklists I love. Katie was always available and ready to make the planning process easier on me. To name a few things she went to see the venue herself so I didn’t have to make the trip from Chicago, ran my rehearsal the day before, and took things to the venue day of so I didn’t have to. Additionally, Katie is incredibly knowledgeable. She not only brought up so many details I didn’t even think about but also provided some amazing suggestions to further personalize my wedding. Because of her my day was flawless and exactly as I pictured it. If there were any hiccups I had no idea; which I will forever appreciate. Planning a wedding across the country is not an easy task. However, working with Katie put our minds at ease. From the first meeting with Katie, she was very professional. Katie has this calming presence, even though we didn't follow everything 100% to schedule, she reminded me it was our wedding and everything would be okay. Not to mention, she would constantly check in to see if we needed anything. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to Katie. She will make your wedding a dream come true!

Katie Jensen is a phenomenal wedding coordinator, and we would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding! We started working with Katie about 7 weeks out from our wedding date. As a couple planning our own wedding from out of state, we were looking for a coordinator that we could trust to manage the details and timeline of our wedding day, leaving our parents, family, and friends free to enjoy the day with us. From our first phone call, Katie exuded an approachable, positive energy - she clearly enjoys what she does, has a ton of industry expertise, and made us feel at ease right away. She was able quickly to get a sense of what we already had squared away and what parts of our wedding day & planning still needed to be decided. In the week of our wedding, Katie coordinated with all of the vendors from our wedding, taking ownership of managing any last-minute questions, arrival times, and a host of things that she managed and yet we'll never know she did because of her initiative and ownership. During our wedding weekend, Katie was the epitome of organized, proactive, and kind. She collected all of the items for our wedding during our rehearsal, met vendors as they arrived on-site, managed much of our decor set-up, crafted our wedding flow & timeline, and assured us throughout the evening with kind words and helpful directions. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of throughout our wedding day with small gestures that made a big impact - bringing us water during our family photos and walking us through our cake cutting, as examples. She also went above and beyond to return items to both the bakery that made our cakes and our florist - we were incredibly thankful for the ways she assisted us not only during our wedding but also leading up to and after our wedding. Our main contact at our venue even went out of their way specifically to note how fabulous Katie was to work with after our wedding, which coming from another person with wedding industry expertise meant a lot! Our parents and wedding party also commented multiple times on how amazing Katie was throughout the weekend - it speaks to her professionalism and expertise.

Katie was amazing to work with, from start to finish. She is professional, responsive, and very clearly understands the wedding industry. I loved her no nonsense and meticulous approach to making sure everything was perfect on our wedding day. And she is fun to work with too! You can’t go wrong choosing Katie to help you with your wedding, I highly recommend her!

I cannot say enough how amazing Katie was! We hired her as day of coordinator since we were having our reception in my parent’s backyard, but would be out of town the night before the wedding and for the ceremony earlier in the day. Katie went above and beyond from day one to make sure she had a clear idea of our vision and brought up things we hadn’t thought of. She was never rushed when meeting with us and was extremely thorough. The day of our wedding we walked into the cocktail hour and everything was exactly how we pictured it. She truly made it a beautiful day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. We even had other vendors tell us how much they enjoyed working with Katie and how friendly and organized she was. I knew I wanted a day of coordinator, but had we not been out of town we probably would have tried to do everything ourselves. I can’t even imagine how stressful that would have been and it would have completely taken away from our day. We didn’t have a care in the world and we really got to enjoy everything. If I had to do it all over again there is 0 question in my mind that I would choose Katie again in a heartbeat!

From the moment we interviewed Katie we knew we would pick her to be out wedding coordinator. When we first started planning the wedding, we were not sure if we needed a wedding coordinator. As we progressed it was very apparent, we needed one!! Katie is so organized, professional, and answered all our questions (even the silly ones) with patience, professionalism and drew upon her many years working events. Katie took charge when needed and stayed in the background making sure everything ran smoothly. Katie has a keen eye and was able to come up with creative ideas whenever we encountered an obstacle! What can I say about Katie Jensen aside from A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! We were planning my daughters wedding on our own when it was going to be a small outdoor event and then we changed to a larger indoor event approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Soon after we found Katie to help us pull off the wedding and it was perfect! She took a crunched schedule, methodically took us through what we needed to do, executed perfectly with the end result better than I ever imagine. Oh by the way she also helped coordinate the rehearsal dinner, again amazing. As the father of the bride, you know how stressful of a time this could be on the family and Katie was our pressure relief valve. I would highly recommend her not only for wedding plans but any other event. Thank you Katie!!!!

What can I say - Katie Jensen was AMAZING and we could not have pulled this wedding off without her! After many venue changes due to COVID, we called in Katie 3 weeks before the final wedding. She made space for us in her busy schedule, and threw her ALL into it. She immediately became part of our team, the leader of our team, and was the person we turned to for almost every decision. Katie has a very quick mind, a creative way about her, tremendously helpful advice and knows timelines and how weddings flow. She is detail-oriented, organized and artistic with how she arranges everything. Most importantly, she listened to what was important to us and made that her first priority! Katie helped us throughout the entire wedding weekend including the rehearsal dinner. She was a pleasure to have during the festivities – fun, personable and interactive with the guests. She was a positive, smiling and pleasant face who was also not afraid to ask for what was needed on our behalf. Or better yet, find it herself and make it happen! Katie was beyond incredible as our wedding planner – I HIGHLY recommend her!! I wish I could give her 6 stars. I am hyper organized, detailed oriented and type A myself and was convinced I didn’t need a wedding planner. I was worried I would still want to take over. I talked to a bunch of different planners and Katie was the only one that I truly felt I could hand things off to and completely trust that she had everything covered. She was incredibly detail-oriented and had a checklist for everything. She brought up so many small details I never realized we needed to plan out that helped make our day run so smoothly. We also had a venue that was less proactive in the planning process and during the event and Katie was on them like a hawk. From constant follow-ups for our wedding orders and contracts, to drawing out our furniture layouts, and being on top of the wait staff the day, she was amazing. Katie was running around helping the wait staff with a smile on her face of and made sure everyone had what they needed. It really helped my family and I fully relax knowing she had it all covered. She was also amazing during the planning process. We had a quick turnaround for our wedding due to a Covid reschedule, and Katie made it happen. We still had incredibly high expectations for the day itself and didn’t want to cut any corners. Katie spent so many hours late at night on the phone with myself and my mom going through absolutely every detail. She always put us first and was at ease. She was able to simplify, crank through a long list of things quickly and also be patient and explains things slowly when we needed it. She also had an opinion when we asked her for it which was so helpful when we got overwhelmed and needed some help. During the weekend itself, Katie was such a breath of fresh air. She was always calm and was able to just make things happen in the background. She also has such a good eye for table layouts and decorations. She fully rearranged our table layouts and it looked 100x better than the venue initially had it and added some really great details that pulled everything together. She also was able to take over when needed. She ran our rehearsal and was so helpful at keeping our large bridal party engaged, paying attention and giving everyone pointers for the big day. All of my bridesmaids on multiple occasions told me how amazing Katie was and such a great find. It was obvious she’s been doing this for years and has it all down to a science. I am SO happy we chose to work with Katie for our wedding day and cannot recommend her enough!! She is without a doubt one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. I have no idea how I would have pulled off the weekend without her. If you’re on the fence, do it. You’ll be glad you did! 😊

Katie was the most AMAZING to work with!! We hired her for day of coordination but she was so involved a couple of months before the wedding making sure everything was organized, making sure all of the little details were in place and reminding me of everything - also dealing with random emails and calls from me and my mom! We initially had another full package wedding planner and had to cancel her contract - Katie was more proactive and did more in the few months before the wedding than our original full package planner did in 7 months! She went above and beyond in everything she did, had the best attitude and was so easy to talk to. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and everything went off without a hitch because Katie was there. She handled ANYTHING that came up and I did not hear about it. HIGHLY recommend her services - we would not have had such an amazing wedding without her! Thank you Katie!!

Katie was a delight to work with on a very elaborate wedding ceremony we hosted in the Abbey at St James 1868. Her attention to detail, organization and professionalism was impressive. She was so easy to work with and immediately felt a part of our team. I highly recommend her services and look forward to working with Katie on many more weddings in our venue!

I hired Katie to help with my wedding and I am do glad I did! She was there with me every step of the way. She gave me advice and kept me on track during the planning process, making sure everything was done on time and properly. During the wedding, she took care of any issues that came up, basically set up all my decorations and made sure my venue was doing everything they were supposed to be doing. I wasn't worried about things at all since she was there to keep track of things, I was able to enjoy myself.

Katie was such a huge help throughout my entire wedding planning process! I’m not sure how we could have gotten from an idea to an actual wedding without her. From setting up (and re-setting up when we changed our minds) to helping take everything down and stored safely, Katie was there to help and ensure the process went as planned! She had an amazing eye for detail to make sure every centerpiece looked perfect, every table cloth was sitting perfectly, every wedding party member knew what they were supposed to do, and everything looked just the way we had envisioned. We truly appreciated her giving us tips and ideas during our planning process and the day of to make sure our day went as smoothly as possible. Katie had a list of tasks and important details covering every piece of my wedding day to make sure we had thought of everything.
