We knew our daughter’s NH wedding was going to be a complicated, detail-heavy event, a 3 day affair, built “from scratch”, with multiple venues and guests coming from all over the US and England. We live on the West Coast; so we wanted someone who was “on the ground.” We knew we needed a very special planner. After interviewing 7 planners, including top Boston outfits, we chose Megan and her team; and it was the right choice. Megan has the experience, knowledge of the area, attention to detail, trained staff, and interpersonal skills to resolve the many issues that arose. She immediately grasped the bride and groom’s priorities and aesthetic and helped to implement them throughout the process. She guided us carefully though every decision, every detail, including last minute changes. (Our “run of show” was 17 pages long.) No problem was too big or too small. Several vendors told us we were lucky to have her as our planner. The wedding was a smooth and stunning rustic-elegant affair. The small hiccups that inevitably happen at big events were quickly and quietly addressed by Megan and her able staff due to their planning for every contingency. Some highlights: she encouraged us to hire a terrific day-of dresser, who was a huge help to the bride and the whole wedding party. She recommended the best wedding band. At the 11th hour, she helped design and execute the coolest, most original, modifiable reception seating chart. She coordinated an insanely complicated transportation and parking plan. Her husband drove the bride and groom in a boat! She helped integrate a New Hampshire character. I suspect she even arranged the perfect weather for the whole weekend! If you are planning a wedding with many “moving parts”, go with Megan and Willow Tree! She is the best!
Megan was listed as a preferred vendor for our venue (The Preserve at Chocorua), and I can definitely see why! I hired Megan and her team for month-of coordination, but she helped me out here and there throughout the year leading up to our day and answered any questions I might've had. I couldn't have imagined going through our wedding weekend without Megan. She created an impeccable timeline and kept everything running smoothly on the day-of. I remember watching her team take down the seating chart during dinner, since it was no longer needed and thinking "man, I wouldn't have thought about that detail." I know there must've been so many other tasks like this that went unnoticed but were still so appreciated. Her calm presence and knowledge of all things wedding day helped make our day perfect. We are incredibly grateful for her and her team and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a wedding day wizard to help them on their big day.
I could write an entire book about how amazing the Willow Tree Event Team is. We hired Meg and the Willow Tree Event team for our October 2023 and they made my Husband and I's wedding dreams come true. Our families and I are still in shock because our Wedding Weekend went perfectly - there was not one negative thought in my head driving away from the Preserve at Chocorua Sunday morning. The one thought that kept popping up in my heads was - I can't believe that just happened - WE LOVE MEG & WILLOW TREE EVENTS!
From the first phone call with Meg I felt like a gained a friend. She is so kind and personable - you can tell she truly cares for every couple she works with. Meg guided us every step of the way - she recommend vendors who were amazing! We quickly realized any one Meg recommended was GOLD. She listened to all of our idea and helped walk us through all the logistics.
Our wedding weekend was not a simple event - three days, 60 people staying on property, multiple breakfasts and lunches, food/vendor deliveries, Friday welcome party with 150 guests, and Saturday Wedding celebration with 180. Meg planned this complicated event down to the minute, everything was so organized and ran smoothly even with a last minute rain plan.

Meg and her team were ESSENTIAL to our wedding. We planned our wedding in NH from afar and Willow Tree Events made it so much easier. When we first arrived at the venue on the weekend of our wedding, my family and I were running around doing all kinds of tasks. Once her team got there, Meg asked me a few basic questions and told us to go have fun because she has it all under control. And she did! Everything went so smoothly!
Megan and her team are top-notch. We were truly blown away by their attention to detail, willingness to go above and beyond, and professionalism. Megan somehow strikes the perfect balance of decisiveness and consideration of others’ feelings and opinions. She took all of the information presented to her (our budget, vision, timeline, personality, parent wishes, etc), worked her magic, and created the most perfect wedding day for us. And the craziest part is she made it look easy. Megan took care of EVERYTHING - coordinating drop off/pick up of rentals, staging the ceremony and reception spaces, interacting with guests, tipping the late night pizza guy, and so much more. She gave us the most stress-free wedding day and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you Megan!
I knew Willow Tree Events would be my wedding planner before I had even met my husband. I had seen Megan's work at previous weddings and was amazed at how well she and her team worked together to make the day run so seamlessly with so much positivity that I KNEW I had to work with them in the future. When some issues arose on the day of, Erica was phenomenal at helping keep me calm and come up with alternative solutions that brought everything together. Our wedding day quite literally would not have happened without Meg. Three months before our wedding, we still had not been able to get in contact with our venue despite multiple calls and e-mails. We decided to hire a wedding planner hoping that they would be able to help us. It was the best decision we could have made. Within days Meg was able to get in touch with our venue. When they told us that we were supposed to have booked our own caterer and they no longer had a caterer available for our date (but we couldn’t get in touch with them for 6 months- yes you read that right), Meg waved her magic wand and again saved the day. She found a fantastic caterer available for our big day and booked us a tasting.
On my first phone call with Meg she told me “I will always go to bat for my couples” and man she does. Every bump in the road (and we had a lot!!), every little detail, she was there to fix it. Meg truly made our wedding day the most special day of our lives. If you are hesitating on hiring a wedding planner, stop looking immediately and hire Meg. Because Meg has now planned TWO weddings for our family. We knew when we attended my sister-in-law's wedding that we HAD to hire Meg for our own wedding. (Truly - she did, with a number of contract negotiations on our behalf - including one where our prices almost went up by 20% for inflation.) Meg & her team were truly incredible and anyone planning a wedding should definitely consider adding Willow Tree Events to your vendor team! We hired Meg as a month-of-coordinator for our November 2022 wedding at The Preserve at Chocorua and from the very beginning, we knew we made the right choice. Meg consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our wedding dreams come true. She is so knowledgeable, organized, and thoughtful. As an event planner myself, I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to relax and fully soak in the wedding day, but Meg handled everything so seamlessly and the entire day went perfectly in our eyes. I’ll start out by saying I am a very organized type A person. If I could do the wedding weekend over, I would 100% hire a wedding planner (specifically Megan) every time.
We were on the journey of planning the best NYE wedding weekend ever for over 2 years together (shout out covid) after deciding not to elope. And although the weekend is now over (I knew it), my husband and I are blessed with a lifetime of recapping the best weekend ever with friends and family.
From the moment I followed our venue on instagram, it was clear that Megan was THE wedding planner to go with and WOW did she deliver. She orchestrated the best weekend of our young lives and brought all of our hopes and dreams to reality, including our Flannel / Italian Rehearsal dinner and Welcome Party and Espresso / Martini Bar dreams as well.
We quickly realized that weddings are competitive and Megan has the connects! We didn’t realize how important that was when entering the scene. And these connections were well versed with our venue and with each other, which made things run easier and smoother the day/weekend of.
She helped us connect with basically our entire vendor team: DJ, Lighting, Catering & Bar, Hair & Make Up, Videographer, Rentals, Espresso Bar, Weekend Sandwiches, along with liaising with our venue and getting them what they needed.
She anticipated every next move and we worked together seamlessly. I'm going to miss sharing Google Docs, playing with the rentals, venue visits, and demanding her to tell me I’m her favorite bride ;)
She’d find out what was needed, check the cost with me, and I’d venmo her which was extremely helpful and efficient. And now she's even helping with reselling some linens to new couples, incredible!
She ran a tight ship on the actual night!! Everything went flawlessly. When everyone inevitably started to field their questions towards me, she intercepted them gracefully and diverted that overwhelming energy away from me.
I still can't believe it's over. I wish I could book Megan again and again and again. Endless thanks and gratitude! Highly recommend Megan and her flawless and amazing team!
Where do I begin…. Well first of all I wish I could have taken Meg and team home with me because they make everything better!!!! I am a high strung, stressed person so you can imagine me on my wedding day :) having Megan and her team there put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy my day to the fullest!!! Megan helped me make design decisions for my tables and bustled my dress for me!! Not to mention she stepped up and spoke up for me when needed and that was super appreciated. You need to hire Willow Tree for your wedding!!!!!!! You will be so happy you did!!!!

She was ready, willing and able to jump in head and heart first to any question, task or request we had for her. We always received prompt, organized communication. I don't even know where to start, if you're reading this stop what you're doing and go hire Megan and her team at Willow Tree Events.
When my fiance and I came to Megan with our crazy idea of having a wedding "over the river and through the woods" of northern NH her eyes lit up and I could see the wheels turning as to how she was going to make our dream possible. From that moment on she never stopped and everything she did was full of purpose and love. She made me feel like her only client (during one of her busiest seasons!). Always answering any and all questions I had, giving advice, calming my nerves, and always with a smile.
We were set on using local vendors to try and give back to the community. In Harts Location, NH that is a little harder to come by. Meg reached out to all of her incredible contacts, people she thought would vibe with us, and our vision for this wedding in the woods. Meg's impeccable communication with our vendor team throughout the 20 months we spent planning made this event possible. She coordinated and orchestrated everything flawlessly during the three days of set up, the welcome party, and the actual wedding, all without cell phone service.
On the morning of our outdoor welcome party, we were surprised by torrential thunderstorms and hail. Meg and her team were vital in pivoting locations and having the party go off without a hitch and without any sacrifices. I should clarify that pivoting locations meant carrying everything back across a footbridge!
Our wedding day was flawless. Everything went off without a hitch. I even sat down and ate dinner and got to enjoy cocktail hour appetizers! I did not have a worry on my mind that day because I knew Meg would be there to help me take care of anything and everything.
I felt like anything was possible with Meg working with us for our wedding. Her entire team, her family/friends, and her husband, all showed up with creative ideas to help make our wedding possible. It is hard to put into words the immense gratitude I feel toward Meg and Willow Tree Events. She went above and beyond in every aspect of this event and our dream wedding would not have been possible without her. I cannot recommend her highly enough for your special day.

I knew Megan when we were kids and since then followed her on social media and have watched from afar as Willow Tree Events planned the most beautiful weddings. When I got engaged, one of the first things, I did was reach out to Megan to inquire about her planning my wedding.
They say some people are born to do certain jobs and well, Megan was born to plan weddings. From answering my millions of questions, none too big, none too small, to giving me her honest feedback and advice, I felt at home with Megan. I felt she truly wanted the best wedding for me and my now husband and that this truly mattered to her.
Now, not only is Megan amazing but her staff is also amazing. They all had a way of making me feel like they were my best friends. They tended to every need I had, checked in with me, and helped me to make a very difficult wedding rain decision in the final moments ahead of the ceremony. At one point during our ceremony, I semi-yelled out “oh no, I forgot about Douglas!” We had our golden retriever as part of our special day, and he was located inside the estate. Megan tapped me on the shoulder and told me not to worry, her staff had been checking in on him every hour; letting him out, playing with him, and making sure he had fresh water. Megan and the Willow Tree staff were never asked to do this but, they knew it was important, so they just did it anyway.
My family and friends still talk about my amazing wedding planner and how I couldn’t have done this without her, and her team and they couldn’t be more correct. I would work with Willow Tree for any event, any wedding, really for anything. If you’re looking for top notch, Megan and her team are the way to go!!

Meg is a wedding machine! She is truly an expert in all things NH Weddings, with exceptional vendor recs, great connections, and an impossibly calm attitude to execute on your event with no stress.
Meg stuck with us through pandemic-delays, a bazillion emails, and plenty of calls with my frantically asking 100,000 questions in rapid fire. She never got frustrated, never rushed me, and always had a solution.
Our wedding went off without a hitch, and I'm honestly slightly convinced Meg even got the snow to fall. If you're looking for a miracle worker to help you pull off a multi-day event, Meg is a great choice. Even her awesome daughter came to be our dog-sitter during the reception. It's a family affair, and we love that.

Megan and Tori helped plan and coordinate our wedding at The Preserve at Chocorua in Tamworth, NH in August 2021 and they were absolutely incredible! I have nothing but amazing things to say about working with Willow Tree Events.
I knew during our first call that Megan and I would get along super well. She is impeccably organized, super thoughtful and always on top of everything. I truly never worried about anything going wrong throughout the entire wedding planning process because I knew Megan was on top of all the various vendors and activities and had our back. She truly went above and beyond - doing things that were not even in our contract just because she thought it would relieve some stress. She was constantly checking in to see how I was doing throughout the entire planning process and I always felt 100% supported.
Most importantly - the day of coordination was spectacular! It was truly the most magical day of my life!!! My family can be a bit difficult at times and Tori did such as a stellar job of coordinating everyone for the ceremony, pictures and reception, which was not an easy feat! I never worried about a single thing the entire time because Tori and the team had it covered. Everything truly went off without a hitch.

Megan and her team were amazing to work with and made it so that I could enjoy all the wedding weekend things without worrying about the stress and little details. Megan coordinated with all the vendors and made sure everything was organized and not only the night but the weekend went off without a hitch. She took care of all the little details you don’t think of and made all my visions come to life from rehearsal dinner set up (that I didn’t even think about) to coordinating transportation for my dog to my first look location. She is so personable and you can tell she genuinely cares about making your day special! I would 1000% recommend Megan and her team!
Meg did an outstanding job coordinating our wedding. We had a large wedding in our backyard that was highly customized and had lots of moving pieces -- it was certainly not an easy event to coordinate. But Meg was up to the task and made us feel totally at ease from day one. She is highly experienced at what she does and knows how to navigate just about any situation. She always made herself available to answer questions and go over details whenever we needed extra clarification or reassurance. On the day of the event, she and her team were there bright and early and worked quickly and professionally to pull everything together. They had the entire operation running perfectly -- we were able to completely relax and enjoy our special day, knowing that everything was in good hands. We cannot recommend her enough!
From the 1st conversation I had with Meg, she made me feel completely taken care of all of and all of my stress melted away. We hired her for our day of Coordination at the Preserve at Chocorua. I wasn’t initially planning on having support on the day, and boy am I glad I changed my mind!! It started with the initial phone consultation where Meg made it very clear that I will not have a worry in the world on our wedding day. She mentioned all the things that can come up (which us brides would never know) and how she would take care of everything so that we can just enjoy our day. Even though we hired her for day of coordination, she offered to look over vendor contracts, make suggestions on food, events, ideas for the welcome bags, she also coordinated with the rental company and took care of all the vendor communication. She is well respected and well connected with all the top vendors. When it was about 90 days out from the wedding, Meg was constantly checking in and we scheduled calls to review what we else needs to be done. I was a bit of a stress ball 60 days out and my conversation with her eased all of my concerns. Then when it came time for the actual wedding day, she delivered and exceeded all expectations. We had some road bumps like running out of soft drinks and rearranging the tent, keeping everyone on time, etc. She took care of everything! She even moved some floral arrangements and the alcohol from the tent to the Barn late night for our after party. Let me repeat… She set up the floral arrangements for our late night celebration!! I was amazed. All I can say is if you are thinking about hiring a planner/coordinator, do not hesitate. It was the best decision I made and Meg is the best there is.
There aren't enough words to say how helpful Meg and her team were throughout our entire wedding planning process. From the first conversation I had with Meg, I immediately felt a sense of relief and excitement. Meg was always a quick call, text or email away and was amazing at keeping every single detail organized. During the planning process, Meg helped me to coordinate with all our vendors and was also constantly bringing me fun and creative ideas on how to make our wedding weekend the most memorable weekend of our lives, which it truly was.
Aside from all her help the months leading up to the wedding, Meg and her team were INCREDIBLE throughout our entire weekend. A bridesmaid of mine said she could see the weight that was lifted off my shoulders the second Meg showed up to the property, and she was so right. For all couples out there wondering if you should hire a planner, I can not stress enough if you hire Willow Tree Events it will be the best decision you make!!
Wedding planning is stressful, especially with a pandemic thrown into to the mix. Working with Meg helped us remain hopeful that we would eventually have the wedding of our dreams, even if it meant making changes along the way. In a time of uncertainty, Meg stood up to the challenge for us as a couple and truly proved she is the best around with her compassion, her unparalleled knowledge of the wedding industry, and ability to pivot to make sure we had a wedding above and beyond what we could have ever envisioned. We ended up postponing our Early 2021 wedding, and within a week Meg had moved everything to June 2021. She is a rockstar!!!
Meg was always a quick call or text away, and even though I know she works with many couples-Meg has a way of making you feel like the most important couple in the world.
Leading up to our wedding she went out of her way to take time to meet in person, do event walk throughs, and answer our sporadic last minute questions.
Above all, Meg is truly the salt of the earth. We don’t consider her a vendor, she has become a true friend and that in itself speaks to the amazing person behind Willow Tree Events.

I have put off writing this review for a few months now, not because I didn’t have anything to say - but because I have had no idea how to even put into words how much I appreciate Megan and everything she did for our weekend long celebration. Not even just for the wedding, but every single detail, planning, and event we had throughout the weekend and all of the time leading up.
I could tell you everything she did for my husband and I, but honestly anyone can do those things. Instead, let me tell you how she made us feel.
From the time I started working with Megan, it felt like we were her only couple. We started planning our wedding two years out, so it was a long drawn out process that seemed to last forever while simultaneously going by in the blink of an eye.
Whenever we texted, had a phone call or exchanged emails, it felt like I was reaching out to a friend for a favor or with a problem I just needed to talk through with someone - in fact, I feel like Megan has become a friend.
Every conversation lifted a weight off my shoulders, put my mind at ease, and lessened my anxiety. This is saying a lot for me. Especially when our 2020 wedding got postponed until 2021. And I will be honest, some of the tasks at hand weren’t easy, but Megan made us feel confident that we could trust her and she never let us down.
The day of the wedding, Megan checked in with me countless times to make sure I was all set - all while seamlessly coordinating all of the moving parts of the day. I was able to put complete trust in her to make decisions and put out fires so that I could focus on enjoying myself, my husband, and our family.
There are probably a dozen other vendors that could do the things Megan does (maybe not quite as well 😉), but I’m willing to bet their aren’t many that will make you feel as fortunate to have her in your corner.
I will continue to recommend Megan a thousand times over to any couple planning a weekend long celebration.
All I can say is Meg and Willow tree gave my wife and I the wedding we've always wanted, and didn't necessarily know it. She went wayyyy above and beyond and it showed in the final product. Everyone in attendence said it was a highlight wedding for them (and we had some elderly folks, so you know theyve been to a few). Do yourself a favor and just hire these talented, caring, and down to earth folks!!!
My daughter in-law and son hired Willow Tree Events to make their wedding dreams come true. That, and more, was achieved because of the expertise, dedication and passion that Meg and her team brought to the wedding weekend. Meg’s experience at the Preserve was evident; she knew the ins + outs of the venue and was able to make recommendations/suggestions when needed ahead of time and in the moment. She also has a great relationship with the caterer we used, Mezzanine Catering, Meg was the needed “missing link” to pull it all the together.
Meg and her team had everything covered, the bride and groom (and the guests) were able to fully enjoy the experience. You can tell Meg loves her job and making people happy. We hired Megan as our day of coordinator in 2019 for our wedding in August 2020. To say she went above and beyond her duties would be an understatement. I will forever be grateful for her advocating for all the wedding couples in 2020 when the state was trying to determine rules and regulations on gatherings. She was there each week to update us on new policies and to make sure the day we had envisioned for so long was perfect despite the circumstances that year. It is hard to put into words how much she meant to us not just on that day, but the months prior planning as well. She was always available to lend an ear and to give advice when needed. I would highly recommend Megan as your next wedding planner! We hired her to help us with the Rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding and she was wonderful. Certainly given this year and the pandemic, it has been very challenging. Megan kept us informed of the latest state guidelines and worked with us and all of our vendors so everyone was on the same page. She is knowledgeable, confident of her ability and listens to your wishes and concerns. I would recommend her to my friends and family.
Megan and her team were the rockstars of our weekend wedding coordination. They were physically and mentally 100% on top of everything. Megan responded in an instant when I texted her, whether it was a month before, two weeks before, two days before or 7am on the day of the wedding. Megan took care of problems I didn’t know about until they were solved (or ever), and executed a stunning reception set up and sweetheart table when I had less than half of a plan for it. She is the day-of coordinator that you don’t know you need until you realize two days later that your wedding could absolutely have not been what it was without her. She even tied my shoes! Would HIGHLY recommend Megan and her team, Tori and Lisa, to anyone!
Megan was absolutely perfect! Our original wedding coordinator canceled on us the month before the wedding. We were in a panic to try and find someone last minute to help us on the day of the wedding. We were so fortunate to find Megan and that she was available for us. Right away, she made me feel more at ease with the last minute tasks and timeline. Megan and her team made sure everything ran perfectly the day of the wedding which allowed me to fully enjoy our day without disruptions. I would highly recommend using Megan and her team. She knocked the ball out of the park!
Without Meg, my wedding would not have been possible. I have a nice handful of chronic illnesses that are triggered by stress and I thought a courthouse marriage was the only possibility for me.
I contacted Meg (and several other local planners) as a swan song to see if anything would be possible before giving up. Meg instantly gave me confidence and was comforting and supportive.
Throughout the whole planning process she was so incredibly helpful and amazing at putting out fires as they popped up. Our hair and makeup people pulled out a few weeks before the wedding and she swooped in like magic and found two amazing artists to do our hair and makeup.
Meg is the kind of person who instantly feels like someone you've known your whole life. She is so easy to get along with and she's such a calming presence. The whole team felt like family - I met Lisa and Erica the weekend of my wedding but it felt like they had known us all along as well. The whole team made sure every last detail was perfect (pouring drinks, steaming gowns, entertaining babies, you name it). I can't recommend her and her team enough. They truly thought of everything and I quite literally could not have done it without them.
Willow Tree Events is like family. I can't sing my praise loud enough when it comes to how incredible Megan and her team is. Every event I have been a part of with them has been silky smooth without a single hiccup...even if there were behind the scenes curveballs thrown by fate (it totally happens!), the couples were always the last to find out and adjustments were made without missing a single beat to make things even better than before! Wow! Megan and her team are amazing! I had read a lot of articles that couples often regretted not having a day of coordinator and I am so glad I listed and worked with Willow Tree Events. I was a type A bride, and had a lot of moving parts and a lot of vendors and wanted to be able to sit back and relax on my wedding day and not have to worry. Megan and her team allowed me to do just that! Megan and Lisa were amazing, making sure that everything was set up at our ceremony and reception location, that we stuck to our timeline and that our guests had an amazing time! MULTIPLE guests commented to us about how kind, calm and helpful Megan was, she rocked it!! She put out a few fires day of, and I was so happy to not know about any of it during the day! Megan was just fun to be around and we were so happy to celebrate and share our day with her!
Megan and her assistant were an absolute pleasure to work with! As a photographer, having a seasoned wedding planner to work with makes the day flow so easy. She was always cheerful to help and kept us on track with a smile!
I’m writing this review well over a year after our wedding because I’m pretty unorganized which is why I needed Meg! Our wedding was completely off-site, and the first ever at that location. We had to bring everything in. She was a pivotal part in my planning Because I was also having a destination wedding. Any time I sent an e-mail asking a question or expressing a concern, I was met with a super quick response! I’m still in awe at how gorgeous my set reception set up was, how everything went so smoothly and to plan, and how much I felt like she was an amazing fit and understood our dream wedding goals. Meg did such an incredible job and because of her we felt so stress free, enough to get pregnant on our wedding night 🤣 thanks, Meg, for our beautiful daughter, and for helping create our beautiful wedding!
Megan is amazing! During our entire planning process she was there to answer any questions, she provided recommendations, and was timely with her communication. In the weeks before the wedding, she walked the venue with us, went thru every detail of our day and coordinated everything with each vendor. On the day of, her and her team really went above and beyond in making sure everything was perfect and that the day flowed smoothly. They even helped make sure our dog could be in our ceremony and transported him back and forth to the kennel. Megan is someone that any couple can trust with their big day. She is a joy to be around, has a calming presence and overall is just a great person. Thank you Megan for making sure that our day was everything we dreamed of!
We had the most amazing backyard wedding I could have ever dreamed of and I felt so comfortable having Amanda be the one to oversee and execute all of our dreams. We were a very organized couple and had all of our planning completed when I engaged Meg to see if she could help us with the day of execution of all the little details that we didn't have help with. Meg already had a wedding that she was working with on our day, so she assigned her assistant, Amanda Thomas to help us out. We met 2 times prior to the wedding day to review everything in fine detail and she was so accommodating. We had lots of little details (setting out lawn games, setting table displays, helping vendors to their right location) and Amanda and her two helpers did the best job. They were worth every penny we paid and we would hire them time and time again.
Megan made our wedding come together seamlessly and was a pleasure to work with. She is extremely organized and was definitely a calming influence in the days leading up to the wedding. She has a large collection of wedding decorations that she brought for us to use, which was great because that was less to buy for a one-time use. Her and her team set up the tent the day of and it came out so beautifully! It was unexpectedly hot the day of our wedding and Megan spent a ton of time looking for cooling options for our tented wedding. She went out and bought wash cloths so that we could offer cool clothes to guests during the ceremony and reception, which was a big hit. The recommendations she had for vendors were all top notch and we received so many compliments. I trust her judgment completely and definitely recommend her for anyone planning a New England wedding!
Megan was so helpful from start to finish. I felt like I had one million questions all of the time, she was always happy to help and made our dream a reality. The day of our wedding everything went so smoothly she made sure to connect with all of our vendors so every one worked together. She became family by the end of our wedding. I wish we could do it all again every weekend with Megan!!

Megan was so helpful!! She helped us select vendors, coordinate the logistics with them, plan and execute the decor, and really kicked it into high gear for our wedding weekend! Megan helped me and my wife avoid panic attacks because we knew she wouldn't let anything fall through the cracks. The weekend of the wedding, she and her assistants did a wonderful job greeting guests, helping vendors unload, coordinate the table placements, deal with our crazy amount of lawn games and activities, and many other things that I've probably forgotten because Megan and her crew did them so seamlessly!
I have had the pleasure of seeing Megan and her team in action for quite a few events. For those hosting an event, shee brings an incredible energy and reassuring affect. For the guests, they will notice a casual romantic flair to all the event details. And the details matter for both the hosts and the guests! Nobody has the time to pay attention to all those details leading up to and on the day of the event.

We hired Megan as a day of wedding coordinator but she became so much more to us. She handled all of the details seamlessly while adding personal touches all along the way and helped me with my age 60, never been married before bridal jitters and worries. I felt so confident in her that all I had to do the day of the wedding was show up. During the initial planning I told my now husband, Ray, that I had a hired her and he questioned why we would need her services. Now, whenever we talk about the wedding, he always says that our day would have never been that great without her services :) She made a believer out of him for sure!
We were married outside at Rye Harbor State Park on a beautiful June day and everything went beautifully. As I left the limo to start my wedding march she was there to help me with my bustle, give me my bouquet and to take care of me, which I needed and very much appreciated. I peeked over at the tent and everything was set up perfectly! After the ceremony she brought us over away from the crowd and an impromptu receiving line formed for which we were so grateful. We were able to greet and thank each guest personally for coming which meant the world to us because we were so busy from then on. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator/planner you need not look further. Megan has a wonderful way about her and she really paid attention to what we wanted and we cannot imagine our special day without her.

I hired Megan to coordinate my wedding day of as well as consult during the planning process. I could never have pulled off such a perfect party without her. She was there for me when I couldn’t decide on table settings. She was there to recommend vendors when I needed help (and every one I hired through her was FANTASTIC!). Megan and her team were at our venue for set up a full seven hours before start time to ensure everything was the way I wanted it. She stayed long after we rode off to help clean up.
But here is where it gets really incredible. I had the disaster no bride wants to have with her dress. My bustle snapped. Nightmare, right? Wrong. Megan, in all her perfection dropped everything and SEWED ME A NEW BUSTLE ON THE SPOT. I never in a million years expected the devotion and service that Megan proved us.
She really listened to our every want and need and was able to help us plan our perfect day. This was hugely important to me as my now husband and I had a specific vision but did not know how to achieve it. I was concerned that our vision would be lost by using a coordinator. Megan proved me wrong over and over, gently guiding us in the right direction.
She is professional, creative, extraordinarily hardworking, caring, and will always go the extra mile for her couples. In short, you cannot go wrong by hiring Willow Tree Events.

First of all a day off coordinator is an essential for any bride, and one as amazing, organized, and easy going as Megan is exactly what you want. As a type-A bride who had a certain way of operating given my remote distance, and crazy work/school schedule, I didn’t want an opinionated person to work with. Megan was so flexible and really took the time to listen to me and what I wanted and come up with suggestions that complemented my ideas perfectly. I felt so relaxed the entire time and when I reached out to Megan, she immediately would put me at ease, with her speedy responses and organized notes (even reminding me of something I’d told her and forgotten at one point!).
On the day of, she just made everything happen without a hitch, despite the ridiculously complicated list of to-dos we left her and her team with. She regularly checked in to make sure I was all set and every single one of our vendors talked about how great she was. I literally did not lift a finger day of, except to pour myself a mimosa and hang out with my friends and family! She made sure my husband and I had food and drinks, she forced us to sit down and eat, kept the event on schedule.
Beforehand, Megan was the fuel that kept things moving. When I was stuck on vendors, Megan had recommendations and personally helped me source people to serve as a bartender for my camp wedding. Later, Megan spent the time walking through the day with me (and even came up to the venue and did a dry run through a few weeks before) and then worked with me and my budget to staff a team to help make the day a reality. She even helped come up with a creative solution to a somewhat crazy idea my mom wanted (a champagne table that turned out so beautiful!). Her stock of extra decorations is beautiful and was a stunning complement to all my rustic signs and frames. I honestly keep looking at photos and wonder how Megan made my wedding look so Pinterest-perfect!
Megan and her team were great. They showed up on time and were incredibly reliable. They were fun and creative and we are so grateful to them. She helped problem solve things that didn’t even necessarily fall under her purview: My sister planned a beautiful surprise and Megan lent her a projector to make it a reality.
I could ramble on and on about all the amazing things she did to make our wedding so wonderful. Megan is an incredible deal for the time, effort, and love she puts in to making sure your wedding is wonderful and I wholeheartedly recommend her. She treats your wedding as if it’s her own and works hard to make it a stunning success!
I have been to several events planned by Willow Tree Events, and they never disappoint. The owner is professional and reliable, and will do everything in her power to make your wedding day as special as you envision it, even more perfect in my case! This is the best decision you can make for your wedding.
Megan was literally a wedding saver. I cannot recommend her enough. She helped plan, set up, facilitate the rehearsal, and clean up. There was no way our day would have been close to what it was without her.
Beyond the amazing tasks she accomplished that are standard with a wedding she is also the perfect problem solver. The morning of our wedding there happened to be a leak somewhere that caused water to get on a $20,000 painting below us. Megan handled the entire situation and I was not made aware until after the entire day was done. She took all the appropriate steps to take care of the situation (such aw notifying the appropriate people) which allowed me to completely enjoy our celebration.
The best decision you could make for your wedding or event is to hire Megan.
