Jordan was our day-of coordinator and though we only had her for a short time, she knew what we wanted to do every step of the way, connected with our vendors to ensure flawless execution from each and every one of them on the day of, and made our night feel extra special with her tuned in attention. I would recommend Willowdale and Jordan, as well as Rachel who helped us at The Coach House, to anyone and everyone looking for a wedding venue. My guests were truly blown away by the venue as well as no one had ever seen anything like it nor experienced such great service. I'm still getting texts about how amazing the wedding was, and the food during cocktail hour and throughout the night! Willowdale and their staff absolutely knocked it out of the park.

When planning stated Julia was amazing and made all the stress and worry disappear, we knew we were in excellent hands. We honestly can't say enough good things about Julia, you can tell she loves what she does and is there to make your day as seamless as possible. They made planning a breeze with a list of suggested vendors that they had experience in working with in the past as well as a vendor meet and greet for upcoming couples to help find any last vendors you might need to finalize. This helped us find our baker for our cake! Every need and want was heard and attended to. The food was beyond our expectations and we heard nothing but rave reviews about the staff on wedding day. Willowdale will feel like your home even for the short amount of time that we were there, we were able to make it feel like our little place. There is nothing we would change about our experience with Willowdale and we are excited to tell friends and family if they are looking for a place to hold an event in the future.

Everyone raved about the mimosa station, the sun pouring into the conservatory, the buffet choices and of course the epic chocolate chip cookies. Yum! dibly smooth and stress free. Julia, our wedding coordinator, understood our vision for our wedding immediately from the initial meeting. She made the logistical process of picking out décor, selecting menus, and setting up timelines easy! She was responsive to any questions we had and offered advice when we needed some (e.g., good restaurants nearby). During the wedding, Julia made sure everything went as it was planned, from before the ceremony to the end of the reception. She kept everything organized and every transition was incredibly smooth. Further, the waitstaff and bartenders were awesome to work with. Everyone was very kind, professional, and personable. The food at the Willowdale was some of the best food we have ever had. Specifically, the filet mignon and the mini chicken pot pies were our personal food highlights. We have some “foodies” in our families and every single person in attendance was impressed with how tasty the food was. We are still receiving compliments on the food over a month after our wedding. We also had many guests with gluten allergies and the various gluten free options (including the cookies!) allowed us to accommodate. Our friends and families who typically may not get to eat at weddings were able to fully enjoy themselves! Additionally, we booked the Coach House for the bridal getting ready space before moving over to the main house and would highly recommend the space to anyone having an event at the Willowdale who may be looking for a getting ready space. The space itself is beautiful, there is ample room for hair and makeup, and room to relax. My niece and nephew, who are three and four years old, also had a lot of fun spending time in the space. The Willowdale, all around, was well worth the investment. If we decide to renew our vows with a formal ceremony, we may just have a second wedding at the Willowdale!

They worked seamlessly with our vendors as well as with others contributing to both the ceremony and reception. Finally, the food was SPECTACULAR!! We loved the hors d'oeuvres, especially the gnocchi and the chicken and waffles. Perhaps the biggest hit, however, was the ice cream sundae bar - we almost did not need a cake.

The mansion and surrounding park showed off for our fall wedding - the landscaping was impeccable, the set up under the tent made our mouths drop, and the team (with special shout out to Jeanine) executed every one of our many details. The food was delicious - like actually good not just good for a wedding. The whole team at Willowdale was calm and knew how to execute on the day-of. They made having our pup there for the ceremony easy and meaningful. They also have a great list of star studded vendors (especially our DJ - Mark Dixon!). The team also ensured we could incorporate cultural traditions seamlessly. And the cookies!! Could not recommend more highly! One tip for the brides with a million details - the Willowdale team is incredible, but they do not have the capacity to plan all your details (they are too busy killing it for the couples getting married that month at the venue). If you have a lot of moving parts, might be worth a planner.

Aside from how incredible Allison and her entire team were, the venue itself is gorgeous and to this day everyone is still raving about how good the food is. They say people get wedding regret and venue envy, seeing other weddings but if given the chance, we would choose Willowdale 100x over. It felt like we stepped into the most beautiful winter celebration we could’ve imagined. Jeannine, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute superstar. She thought of every single detail, kept everything running seamlessly, and made us feel completely supported from the moment we arrived. We honestly couldn’t believe how effortless she made the entire day feel. We felt so cared for, and it meant the world to us. And the food… incredible. For the price point, you want the venue and catering to be flawless, and we were somewhat skeptical it could be worth all the money and effort, but our experience at Willowdale kind of blew us away. They're truly professionals. It was a night we'll remember forever, and we heard the same from our guests. Our planner, Julia, was a perfect fit for us. Matched our energy and provided helpful suggestions during planning and even during the event that honestly helped perfect the night in ways we'd never have thought to ourselves. Can't recommend her highly enough! And of course we have to give a shout-out to the house-made chocolate chip cookies they sent us after our initial tour. Whether we reached out by phone or email, they were always quick to reply and ready to answer questions or offer advice. About two months out, we were assigned a dedicated wedding coordinator. We are so grateful for Allie. From answering all our questions about wedding planning, to communicating with our vendors, to helping our big day run smoothly, we truly couldn’t have done it without her. The food they served was amazing! Guests were welcomed with beverages upon arrival, and following the ceremony, there were passed hors d'oeuvres. We loved the presentation of everything. The summer salad was refreshing, and for our main entrée, we chose to upgrade one dish to the filet mignon with truffle potato, creamed spinach, and kale—it was spectacular. My wife needs to eat gluten-free, and Willowdale was extremely accommodating with their gluten-free options. We loved their gluten-free chocolate chip cookies and mini donuts—we couldn’t even tell they were gluten-free; they were absolutely delicious. For months leading up to the big day, Julia made herself available to answer our questions over email and phone, so we were thrilled when she was paired with us as our day-of coordinator. Not only did Julia offer great advice/recommendations on vendors, she never stressed us out or made us feel behind with our planning. On the day of the wedding, she managed our timeline (and us) so well, pulling us away when needed to stay on track and checking in periodically to see if we needed anything and to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Aside from the logistics, Willowdale Estate is an absolutely stunning venue. Food and service were amazing (we received many compliments on how great the hors d'oeuvres and dinner were). The courtyard and grounds by the tent are immaculate and really lent to the summer garden vibes. I truly cannot recommend Willowdale Estate enough for making this the best weekend of our lives!

he food was incredible, especially the passed appetizers, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. The coordinator and staff were amazing and really helped bring our vision to life. They made the whole process easy and were there whenever we needed something. Another huge perk was having a suite for both the bridal party and the groomsmen to get ready in private. That made the morning so much smoother. The estate itself is beautiful. Our wedding was a colorful garden party and since Willowdale is already in bloom in the summer, it really popped with all of our flowers and decor. Our guests kept saying how gorgeous everything looked. One thing to be aware of is the enhancement guide. They are clear about what they offer, but it’s worth taking the time to go through it and build those items into your budget. As a small suggestion, it would also be nice if the dessert could be displayed outside. The cookies are some of the best I’ve ever had, but a lot of guests didn’t realize dessert was out. Overall, the vibes of Willowdale are incredible and they really know how to throw a great party. Worth the costs!

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning details like the beautiful wood, stone, and stained glass accents that makes it feel like a little castle in the woods. Our guests have not stopped raving about the incredible food, even 3 months later! I would say the top 3 reasons we chose the venue (and reasons we loved it during and after as well) were the amazing food (we are big foodies!!), the intimate fairytale castle in the woods feeling (like a highly elevated romantic backyard fairytale wedding!), and the benefit of less decisions (so much decision fatigue in wedding planning, and Willowdale has so many in house options, including catering, that we really felt we could handle it ourselves even while both working full time out of state). Julia, our venue coordinator, was stellar - she helped us with all the decor drop-off and eased any wedding worries we had along the way. The entire team kept everything running so smoothly and on schedule, without a single hitch. We loved every moment--10/10 no notes!!!!

ous 1902 Arts and Crafts-style Estate, the stunning Garden Courtyard, and the custom Sperry Tent, the venue offered endless character and ambiance that made our day unforgettable. We were the first couple to use their newly renovated Carriage House, which was a beautiful and spacious spot for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. Even when the AC wasn’t working correctly, the team jumped in right away to assist and made sure we were comfortable. Our coordinator, Jordan, was an absolute rock star from start to finish. She made the planning process so smooth and brought the best energy to what could have been a stressful day—especially when I had some hiccups with my photographer. By the end of it, saying goodbye to Jordan honestly felt like saying goodbye to a friend. The Willowdale team also went above and beyond with the details on the wedding day itself. They executed our décor perfectly, the serving staff kept drinks flowing, and the food was out of this world. Months later, our guests are still texting us about the menu—especially those incredible homemade chocolate chip cookies! Brad and I cannot thank Jordan and the Willowdale team enough for everything they did to make our wedding day so special. We will truly cherish the memories we made there forever.

On the day of our wedding Alli really went above and beyond, coordinating with vendors, making sure everything was set up exactly how we wanted it, and made sure everyone was where they needed to be at the correct time so that we as a couple could really just focus on enjoying the day! We received so many compliments from guests on how smoothly the whole event ran, how delicious the food was (especially the steak and cookies), and just how beautiful the venue was in general! There are so many gorgeous places for pictures, we loved everything from the inside of the estate from the rooms downstairs to the getting ready areas and the outside spaces are stunning. The little pathway in the state park is an added bonus! Our only negative was that we had some difficulty scheduling a tasting since they happen so infrequently and felt we had to make adjustments to our plans to make it work. With that being said, the tasting was a very fun experience and was definitely worth moving things around to attend. Aside from that everything worked out so perfectly and there is truly nothing I would change about our day!

Jeannine was our coordinator and did a spectacular job laying out details for me so I could relax and focus on the big day. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, it was much better than the tasting! The drinks were good, not cocktail fancy, but satisfying and the bar was fast which is crucial for guests having a good time. We used many vendors from the suggested list and they were a huge hit! We are so grateful to Willowdale and its incredible staff. What a night to remember. They deserve all the rewards. Really makes you feel good about the thousands you’re spending.

We did a brunch buffet, and the food was amazing! Especially the baked goods and gluten free scones - everybody loved them. Attention to allergies and gluten free needs was exceptional. Communication with staff was excellent, and the day of the event ran very smoothly. Everything was done on time and according to schedule, with nice touches like help getting all the gifts outside on a provided cart. Shout out to Rachel and Emily who were both so helpful and organized. I wouldn’t hesitate to hold an event at Willowdale!

r my coordinator, Julia. She took great care of me on the day — reminding me to eat, helping me stay on time and task — and she was extremely responsive to any phone call or email. Feeling at ease on your wedding day is such a gift, and she gave that to me. Thank you, Julia. When it comes to Willowdale, the grounds, the food, the drinks, and the service are top tier. Look no further if these are your priorities for your day! There were only a couple hiccups for me — their sister property Briar Barn Inn was booked, so us and our guests couldn't stay there for the wedding. I wish the team let us know ahead of time since we expressed our plans to stay there; they had told me I could only reach out to book the property on a certain date and when I reached out they told me the news. I had to book a different nearby hotel which was nowhere near as nice nor as easy to work with, so this was a shame. Secondly, be ready to pay for necessary add-ons, such as the dance floor and outdoor evening lighting. I wish I felt more prepared for this, because the add-ons increased our budget by a few thousand. I'm sure it is like this everywhere. But altogether, I would never imagine getting married anywhere else. Willowdale is spectacular and worth the investment.

That seamless support continued with our incredible wedding coordinator, Julia. To say Julia was amazing would be an understatement. She was the calm, organized, and attentive force that brought our entire vision to life. No detail was too small, and she handled every aspect of our day with grace and precision. Julia managed the timeline and all the vendors perfectly, ensuring the entire day ran smoothly and that we were able to be fully present and soak in every moment of our wedding day without a single worry. She is an absolute treasure! And the food! Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. A huge thank you to Chef Benny and his culinary team for creating such an exquisite menu. From the hors d'oeuvres to the spectacular main courses, the dishes were a true highlight of the reception. Chef Benny’s talent and passion were evident in every single bite and truly elevated the entire celebration. The venue's layout worked perfectly. The reception under the main tent was lovely; it felt elegant and was spacious enough for all our guests, dinner, and dancing. The new Coach House suite was a great space to get ready, and adding the Bourbon Bar was a unique feature that was a definite hit with our guests. Willowdale Estate is a stunningly beautiful venue, but it's the people who make it truly special. The tremendous service we received from start to finish was unparalleled. made sure everything went off without an issue. On the day of, there were rain showers predicted right at ceremony time and she and the team waited until 10 mins before guest arrival to decide where to hold the ceremony and helped to make it all happen. Everyone working there was wonderful. Food was incredible. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
