Windows on the Water at Frogbridge

I can not say enough about windows on the water at Frogbridge ! Colleen and Jim help me plan the wedding of my dreams . They made sure everything was done properly and if I had a problem would fix it immediately. They made sure that my husband and I had alone time after ceremony and made sure we ate during the whole day. It's 1 wedding per day so all their attention is on your big day. The food was amazing , everyone raved about the food and scenery . You can have your ceremony by a willow tree or on the patio which give beautiful views of the grounds as well. I highly recommend everyone to get married here .

Colleen, Jim, and the rest of the staff at Windows on the Water at FrogBridge were phenomenal. I really can't say enough great things about them. They were extremely attentive and kind and made our entire planning process so easy and enjoyable. The additional staff the day of the event were also awesome and so helpful. They made sure we had samples of each of the menu items and had time to spend with one another throughout the night which meant so much to us. The venue is beautifully maintained and it was a gorgeous place to have our special day. The food was absolutely delicious and was remarked upon by all of our guests and they also offer a tasting of a selection of all the food prior to the event which was awesome. The staff truly cared about us and our experience and we highly recommend them to anyone considering a wedding venue.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge in June of 2023 and it went above and beyond every expectation that we had. All the NJ wedding venues that we toured before Frogbridge (6 total) were either country clubs or over the top ballrooms, and we couldn’t find a place that felt right. I wanted somewhere with natural beauty (with both indoor and outdoor spaces,) not over the top (but definitely not inelegant,) and somewhere with amazing food. My only hesitation with booking Frogbridge was that my brother-in-law and sister-in-law got married there in 2017 (before I met my husband) and I felt like I should have ‘my own venue’ since that was ‘their place’. Looking back I realize that was silly and I’m thankful that my in-laws spoke so highly of WOTW @ Frogbridge and convinced me to check it out on my own. In November 2021, I met with Jim who gave me a tour of the Frogbridge grounds and I immediately fell in love and knew that it was the place for me. It was classy with both indoor space (which was recently renovated!) and stunning outdoor space. It was family-run, and it was the same chef from my in-laws wedding who I had heard about from my husband and in-laws for years about how amazing the food was. When I reached out a few days later to book, I didn’t have to beg for a date two years out like a lot of venues still backed up from Covid were making couples do, and when I had a problem with my church not confirming my ceremony date, they assured me that they would do whatever they could to secure a date that worked for us if we needed to change our original one. One of the things I loved was that all pricing was visible ONLINE. So many venues require you to meet in person so they can go over pricing for dates. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, are all different prices but they are all listed directly on their website so you know exactly how much you will be paying, before you even take a tour. (Tax is included in that price so you’re not doing unnecessary math like some of these other venues require you to do.) Everything was upfront and honest. We also loved that we were in charge of supplying our own alcohol. We could pick exactly what we wanted and Frogbridge worked with a local vendor who helped us pick what we needed, took care of the delivery a few days prior, and returned all unopened cans/bottles after our wedding so we were only charged for what was used. Wedding planning can be stressful but our WOTW Coordinator, Danielle, made everything so easy- from introducing us to vendors, to helping us pick our decor, and organizing and helping us with every single question we had. She was awesome and we loved working with her! On our reception day, not only did the staff cater to us, the bride and groom - but they really made everyone in our wedding party, our families, and friends feel like they were receiving 5-star treatment. My family and friends still tell us how amazing the food was and how they loved sitting outside looking at the beautiful lake. I genuinely hope that one day one of my family members or friends gets married there so I can experience it all over again as a guest. There were only a few minor complaints that we heard from our guests after the wedding. The valets were getting some cars mixed up. (When we heard it, we thought it was funny and definitely not the end of the world.) There was a mushroom ravioli vegetarian option on our sit-down dinner menu, but people who ordered that were not told that that was a misprint, and were brought a meal of grilled cauliflower and some other vegetables, so a few of our guests were bummed. A desk that I had brought in to put some decor on had gone missing. (WOTW offered to replace it, which was greatly appreciated.) Air conditioning in the tent was an extra charge, but we needed it for sure during our 90 degree weather day. (I wish it had just been included in the overall price, but again, not a huge deal. And it was explained from the beginning that it would be an additional charge to turn on, so in no way was I blindsided.) Please note that I would still pick this venue a million times over and that I only included these cons to be as transparent and honest in my review as possible. Our wedding at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge was exceptional and truly one of the greatest days of our lives. Everything and everyone was so incredible throughout the entire process and we can’t recommend this venue enough! (Please also ignore the "$$$" rating on The Knot for how much this venue is. In my opinion, it should be "$$" and was much more affordable than some of the venues categorized as "$$" that we looked at.)

Windows on the Water at Frogbridge made sure we had the perfect wedding day and more!!! I would not have changed one thing about our special day. Everything was perfect. Jim, Danielle, and Josh are absolutely amazing people to work with. Jim and Danielle worked with us from the day we booked the venue up until after the wedding day to ensure we got everything we wanted and needed. Danielle is meticulous in gathering all of your intricate details! The staff at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge are experienced and truly take the time to get to know the couple and their families. Windows on the Water at Frogbridge is committed to delivering the bride and groom’s vision for their wedding day. We cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work and dedication that went into our day! Not only are the staff professional and knowledgable, but the food and venue are amazing too. The landscape and outdoor areas are breathtaking (our photographers LOVED it—there are so many opportunities for beautiful photos around the property). There was an abundance of delicious food from cocktail hour to dinner and dessert, with so many great add-on options. We got married at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge in October 2023 and many of our guests are still raving about the food, venue, and customer service! Many guests have been saying the same thing: “It was the best wedding they have ever been to,” and maybe I’m biased as the bride, but I have to agree! You will fall in love with Windows on the Water at Frogbridge the first time you look out over the lake from the cocktail hour windows or paver patios (no matter the time of year).

While the property itself is absolutely stunning, what makes the Windows on the Water at Frogbridge amazing is the staff. When I first reached out to schedule an appointment Jim was extremely personable and quickly set me and my husband up with a tour of the property with himself and Colleen. From start to finish, Danielle, Colleen, and Jim provided an incredible and absolutely professional experience. Danielle was extremely hands-on, answering my every email and questions over our year of planning about different add-ons, locations on site, referrals for vendors, etc., and worked with us to create the wedding vision of our dreams. On the day of, Colleen and Aurora (my bridal attendant) were absolutely amazing in making sure both myself, my husband and our daughter were always taken care of. Jim himself regularly checked on us to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything! The entire Frogbridge staff are absolutely fabulous and I cannot emphasize it enough - they truly prioritize you, your guests, and go above and beyond to accommodate you. Lastly for the food - All of our wedding guests complimented our reception, but they absolutely raved about the cocktail hour. several family members came up to me sharing it was the best cocktail hour they had ever been to at a wedding. The food is phenomenal and they truly know what they are doing here at WOW. If you are looking for a stunning outdoor venue with a highly communicative and hands on team with phenomenal catering I cannot recommend Windows on the Water at Frogbridge enough. Jim, Danielle, Colleen and the whole team are absolutely perfect!

We got married at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge on 9/9/23 and there are not enough words to highlight how truly wonderful this venue is! When my husband and I started looking, we knew we wanted something unique and not a ballroom. From the first time we saw it, it checked off every box and then some. The grounds are STUNNING and we really liked the different spaces for each event of the night (ceremony/cocktail hour/reception). Jim & Danielle made the entire planning process easy. They were always reachable and so accommodating! As bride, you always worry about rain, and of course it rained most of our day. But the WOTW team really came through with back up plans to make sure we had everything we needed and were able to get all the photos we wanted despite the rain. We left the rain plan for the ceremony up to them and our vendors and at the last minute made the decision we could have the ceremony outside and made all the adjustments (drying chairs, moving the arch etc) which we were so grateful for! The whole evening was absolutely AMAZING! They have a ton of staff and everything went perfect. Jim was there for the evening and kept checking in with us and our parents. He genuinely wants you to be able to enjoy your wedding night and it really shows. We always felt taken care of and our guests expressed they did as well! The food was spectacular and everyone raved about it. From cocktail hour, to dinner to dessert, it was all amazing. My husband and I got married here 3 weeks ago and the day was an absolute dream! We had an amazing time the venue is gorgeous the food was amazing and the service and professionalism is unmatched. Jim, Danielle and Colleen made the day perfect and accommodated us in every way possible! We could not have asked for a more perfect day. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone it is unique and beautiful and the staff is amazing! - Brittany & Justin
