Since 1991 Windswept Entertainment & Event Rentals has been the premier special events rental company in Pittsburgh and its surrounding markets. Our philosophy has been to own a large diverse inventory of rentals that allow us to produce all aspects of any type of special event such as weddings, corporate events, community days, and galas. Having the rentals available out of our own inventory allows us to control every aspect of an event including quality of the rentals, creating power and event layouts, and scheduling delivery and removal of the rentals. Working with Windswept makes event planning easy for our customers because they only have to work with one vendor.

We were recommended Windswept through our wedding planners (Wanderlust Events) and they were the absolute perfect team to implement our dream tent wedding/reception setup! Mary Linn worked with us multiple times over the year prior to the wedding, including herself and a couple members of their team making site visits and tweaks to the plan all the way up to the day of! We managed to hit the one rainy and chilly day this May and they still delivered - making sure to install slidable tent walls and bring heaters (which came in handy!).
The tent, chairs, tables, bars, etc (photo credit: Hannah Barlow Photography) were all PERFECT and the team that set everything up were incredible - fast, friendly, & efficient. Windswept went over the top to make sure the rentals for our wedding day were absolutely perfect and for that we cannot thank or recommend them highly enough!!
I cannot recommend Windswept enough! We had an outdoor wedding at a private venue, so we had to rent everything for the event. Windswept was a one-stop-shop and everything that they had for us was perfect. We rented two tents, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, generator, restroom trailer, etc. Everything that we rented was in perfect condition and looked absolutely beautiful! Mary Linn was such a huge help. She came to our venue before the wedding to look over everything and answer questions for us. She was also extremely responsive and updated our quote many, many times as we changed things around. Windswept set everything up a few days before the event, and their team was absolutely wonderful. They worked so hard to get everything exactly how we wanted it and they succeeded! I cannot thank everyone at Windswept enough for their hard work in making our day perfect!
Windswept was wonderful to work with. They were so patient with the many changes we had to make throughout the planning process and made sure to keep us informed with every change. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.
I got a tent, a couple tables and tablecloths for the tables from Windswept. They came and set everything up and took everything back no problems!
As a planner working with Windswept remotely, I appreciated their open communication, easy to use website, and knowledge of the venue that my client selected. Would work with them again in a heartbeat!
Windswept Rentals – wedding at Horizon View Farms
They were very responsive during the engagement time/planning process and worked with me on different CAD plans as they months/days got closer and the guest count and plan was officially set up. They even had tiny chairs and a small long table for our idea of a “kids table” where we had crayons and things to color. I found them easy to work with for the initial process. Windswept delivered to Horizon View Farms the Tuesday before the wedding.
We arrived on Friday to begin setting up for our Sunday brunch wedding. By then a lot of the tables were covered in bird feces and urine in the barn so in one of our errands we bought multiple containers of disinfecting wipes to clean everything and set up the tables with covers over it since HVF is a DIY venue. There was also food and drink stains leftover on the tables and chairs from previous events. They also did not have the correct number of chairs at each guest table and the banquet tables, DJ table, etc. was not where they should have been so it was a lot of moving things around for my husband and I before we could set up. They were aware that we were serving donuts, coffee, and tea at the ceremony site in the woods for the pre-ceremony which is why we asked Windswept to place one 6-foot table there. The coordinator told us to ask them to place one table in the woods. Instead, it was left in the barn. Having no help at the venue (no staff for events) we weren’t sure what to do, but luckily our friends came up with a truck and helped move the table to the ceremony site the night before.
Unfortunately, I found Windswept unresponsive when I had more questions a week before the wedding and the Friday before the wedding when we arrived (most likely because final payment was made during my call two weeks prior. They were also more expensive had we been able to choose a rental company. Overall considering the hiccups the value was not there for the amount of work and rearranging that needed to be done on the client’s part. Good customer service is being responsive at least until the conclusion of the event for an event rentals company.

Windswept had everything under control and sincerely paid attention to details that were important to us. We never felt like customers, we always felt like we were working together as a team and they truly brought professionalism to our fantastic outdoor summer wedding. We were married on the family’s property-we rented nearly everything from Windswept, an enormous tent, a dance floor, seating and dinnerware for 216 guests, linens, ceremony chairs, they delivered everything exactly when they said they would, they picked everything up exactly when they said they would, and they were transparent in their contract and pricing. I’m the first of five children in my family to be married, and I have a feeling the other four will be contacting Windswept when it’s their turn!
They have options to fit any budget.
