Tera was great to work with for linens for our wedding. She has worked closely with the Pfister (where our reception was) many times, so it made planning easy. She gave great suggestions for color combinations that worked with both our venue & our theme. She gave us some samples to help us coordinate with the rest of our decor. We were so pleased with the final result!
Tera was amazing to work with to select the linens for our wedding. So happy with it turned out.
Response time to emails were quick and helpful to place a linen order. Linens were delivered on time and were great quality.
We worked with Tera and Windy City Linens for our wedding and had a great experience. Tera met with us and brought over 10 samples so that we could choose what we liked. She worked with me to choose options that were more affordable and helped with table layout ideas with the venue. Tera was friendly, professional, and extremely personable. I felt comfortable reaching out to her to make changes to our order. Windy City Linen allows you to make changes to your order up until a few days out from the event, which was extremely helpful during the pandemic and with changes to our guest count. After our event, Tera reached out to say congratulations and to thank us for our order. Highly recommend Tera and Windy City Linen!
The linens were fine for our wedding day, but my issue with company is how they handled a billing mistake by not charging me for their services last year. I found them extremely unprofessional in their responses and difficult when requesting my payment information. For a company that messed up in the first place, I would have expected more courtesy requesting payment from a client.
If you are looking for beautiful quality linens at an affordable price this is the vendor to pick! Awesome customer service was also a plus! Our rep was Tera and she was incredible! Tera was professional, personable and very accommodating.
Windy City Linens was great for our budget. They were very easy to work with and I asked all my questions /placed my order over email since I was abroad at the time. They were prompt and friendly. The linens were delivered to my house as requested on Thursday for our event that was Friday-Sunday. They picked up from my house on Monday morning. The linens were pressed and on hangers in plastic covers, which made for easy transport. They linens themselves was just what we needed and the only place we could find all the colors we wanted (we had an event at a summer camp and wanted 5 different bright colors). They made a low-priority item so easy and budget friendly. Highly recommend!
I narrowed down my linen choices to two (Windy City and BBJ Linen) based on color options provided. If you are planning a wedding on a budget, both companies have the largest selection of affordable linen colors, and both are really responsive about sending samples to help you decide. I decided to go with Windy City for a couple of reasons: 1. I don't actually know how large or small the company is, but I liked that it had the vibe of a mom and pop shop and there was no "design consultant" trying to pressure me into napkin linens, overlays, or some sparkly crap for a sweethearts table. 2: The delivery and return just seemed more straightforward..an actual delivery driver who will arrive on the day you agree upon and return on the day you agree upon. It made me nervous to go with a different company that would be shipping linens. And 3: Their prices are lower. For the most part, once I initiated the order the experience was super easy. There were a few hiccups when I found out I could set up at the venue the day before and tried to change my delivery location to the venue. For reasons I am still not certain, I was going to lose my flexibility by having the linens delivered to the venue (instead of receiving them on a Friday and returning on a Monday, they would be delivered and picked up all on Saturday) and the delivery charge was going to be twice as much. My order wasn't large, so I just changed it back to my personal address and transported everything to the venue myself. Delivery and pick up was super easy and the driver was super nice. Oh, and the linens were pressed with no wrinkles!
