I could not have had a better experience here. This was the second shop I visited and I was planning on going to a third but found my dress here. They have a great selection of dresses. I was looking for under $1500 and they had a ton of dresses in my budget (as well as some amazing ones that were more). Melissa was super knowledgeable and kind, she made me and my family feel welcome and helped me find just what I was looking for. I could not recommend them more, well worth the time to go try on dresses.
The best bridal boutique ever.
Being a curvy bride, I was very nervous about going to try on dresses to start with. Excited, but nervous. WCB was the first shop we went to - and I wish I didn't go anywhere else. I had the most incredible experience thanks to Elizabeth. She listened to what I was saying I wanted or didn't want, picked out dresses that I wouldn't have picked out myself... and LOVED them.
I went in wanting a "flowy" dress. Wasn't sure what style I wanted, but kept picking more traditional "plus size" styles. My 6th dress, she put me in a sheath style. Said to just try it, and see how it felt. I LOVED it - literally have never felt so beautiful. I tried on one more, and decided #6 was the one. Elizabeth suggested going and trying on more dresses elsewhere (since it was my first time trying them on). She wasn't just trying to make a sale, she was making sure I truly had the dress I wanted. Safe to say, I went elsewhere, and came right back to WCB to buy my dress.
Elizabeth made me feel beautiful, never once said anything about my size - just reminded me I was beautiful, and the dress didn't change that. She laughed with us, celebrated with us, and answered multiple questions non-wedding dress related. She was such a help, and such an amazing person to work with!
WCB is the most incredible shop with the most incredible staff!
Absolutely love Wine county Bride Boutique! I got my wedding dress in 2019 for my wedding in May 2020. we had to postpone our big wedding but still had a mini ceremony on our original day and I was able to wear my stunning dress!
Once we postponed our big wedding to this last May 2022, i had gotten a second dress from here!
I wore both dresses last month and they were PERFECT!! I felt like a damn princess all day.
All the the employees at Wine county bride are wonderful, sweet and they care so much. I only have great things to say about them.
10/10 recommend getting your Bridal gown from here!
Horrible experience at the Wedding Expo this company puts on. I would not support this business ever.
Absolutely the best. Everyone was incredibly helpful and patient as I tried on dresses. Brenda worked with my budget beyond compare and made my dreams come true. Couldn't be happier, would recommend to anyone looking for a personal touch to make the results even more memorable!
I ordered my wedding dress from WCB along with earrings and a hair piece. My mom ordered her Dress for my wedding here as well. We were always coming back to shop there because of the wonderful service, kind stylists, and lovely environment. I had 8 of my closest family members and friends come and help me find my perfect dress. The employees were so accommodating to all of us. All the ladies that work there are professional and helpful. The seamstress Natasha is also SO talented and helpful when the dress came and it was time to alter it. She gave us helpful tips and answered all our questions. We would highly WCB for a wonderful and personalized bridal salon experience! From start to finish!
My experience at WCB was fantastic. The ladies who helped me find my dress let me browse the store at my own pace and didn’t push anything. They have just the right amount of options so that it’s not overwhelming but still plenty of choice. I bought my wedding dress and a gorgeous hairpiece which I used as a belt. I also had my dress and a second dancing dress altered at WCB. Alterations was lovely she did a great job and she was such a fun person. Overall had a great experience.
I went to them for alternations and luckily they were able to fit me in! Natasha was amazing and did an outstanding job on my dress!
I bought my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses here and had a wonderful experience. My dress fit perfectly, and I felt like a princess. Two of my bridesmaids were on site, and two were several states away. The ordering process was simple even for the bridesmaids who weren't able to try the dresses on in person. This isn't the cheapest place to get a wedding gown, but the quality, service, and tailoring are so worth it. Wine Country Bridal has a professional staff, wide variety of gowns, and in-house tailoring. My dress and the bridesmaids' dresses fit perfectly, and looked beautiful. Thanks for helping make my wedding fantastic!
I ordered my dress and veil last year from Wine Country Bride. We paid for the storage package, however my dress had to be sent and stored at my house since the old building was damaged by wildfires last October. WCB provided me with a compensation package (steaming, alterations credit, bridal bag) in place of the storage package and I still had my alterations done by Natasha at the new Wine Country Bride Boutique. The new building is smaller than the old but it just as beautiful! The ladies at the new store were so helpful and everyone worked hard to make the process smooth for me despite the tragedy of losing the old building. I highly recommend checking out the new boutique!
I went in a month ago to go dress shopping. It was my first boutique I went to and I was so nervous because I hate dress shopping. I walked in and was treated right away by Melissa. She was so sweet and so helpful! I tried on multiple dresses that I liked either the top or bottom of. I couldn't find anything I was talking in love with. I started to get a little discouraged not finding my dream dress. I felt so bad because I had probably tried on 20 dresses. I saw Melissa talking to another consultant and thought she was upset. I apologized but in reality they were trying to see if they could think of a dress that was everything I wanted and more. We took a look through the he dresses one last time and I picked one I never thought I would buy. When I tried it on I was astounded I felt so gorgeous!! I felt like a bride. I walked out of the dressing room and all of a sudden my fiance and I's wedding song came on and I just knew this was the dress!! I am so thankful for everything g Melissa did for me to help find the dress of my dreams!! Thank you so much!!
It was an amazing experience. Loved everything about this place!
Melissa offered a great customer service and helped me find my dream dress without feeling pressured, she was very patient brought multiple dresses for me to try on and was fast on getting back to me through email for questions I had!
I love Wine Country Bride. I got my wedding ceremony gown here and my reception dress. I was slightly scared that I wouldn't find a reception gown, but Steven was amazing! I just bought it today and my wedding is in 50 days.
I bought my wedding dress from WCB. My consultant was Elizabeth, I loved her! She was so sweet and made this experience 10x better. The whole process was enjoyable and relaxed.
I just purchased my dress from wine country bride. My consultant's name was Melissa and she was amazing! She asked all the right questions and listened to what I wanted. She even knew what I wanted before I knew it! I would definitely recommend this place to find that perfect dress!
Loved using WCB! They had an awesome selection, and the display made it easy to shop. Communication was always great, whether it be via phone or email. They kept me updated at all times on the status of my dress, accessories, and bridesmaid dresses (also purchased here). My only complaint is that their in house alterations were only on Saturdays, so I had to get mine done elsewhere.
Of the three dress shops I went to, this was the worst experience by far. I really hate pushy salesman or obvious sales tactics, so being pressured to buy the dress that day or lose my chance to buy it at all did not go over well with me. If that had not happened, I probably would have bought it the next day after my last appointment at another place, but it made me really not want to keep dealing with them. The other two places I went were very forthcoming with what was in stock to buy that day, or what shipping dates were for various options. In this case, no actual dates were given, just a vague statement that the dates (whatever they were) were changing at midnight so I wouldn't be able to get it in time if I waited until the next day. They supposedly have a lot in stock or otherwise available for shorter time frames, which is specifically why I wanted to go there, but the dresses I was shown all seemed to need a rush fee to make my date. I was also offered $100 off I purchased that day, but I found the dress at another shop online for $100 less to start with. This leads me to believe they just add $100 to their prices so they can make this "offer" while you're there... Other than the pushy closing tactics, the consultant was fine but not great. She did find a dress I loved in the end, but there were several dresses (and one veil) she brought out that really didn't seem like she was listening to what I wanted at all since they had details I specifically said I didn't like. The veils were brought out one at a time and it took her several minutes to get each one. It would have been much more helpful if she could have grabbed a few at once since they were apparently kept so far away. I actually gave up after the third because they either didn't have what I wanted or she didn't understand (I had tried one on at my previous dress appointment and loved it so I wanted to find something similar), and I didn't want to take more time.
My final complaints are that the dresses are not in the dressing room - they pull them in one at a time from the hallway behind for you to try on - and there is no mirror in the dressing room. It would have saved some time and energy if I could have seen all the dresses she pulled at the beginning so I could start with my favorites and immediately narrow down what I liked and didn't like. I get that they probably see this as a more upscale way to do things, but it just wasn't practical and, as a result, I think I wasted too much time on gowns I wouldn't have even pulled from the initial selection if I had the chance. And there were a few I definitely wouldn't have bothered to show everyone in the waiting area if I had been able to see myself in them before leaving the dressing room. Since I couldn't, I had to go out in the main area and everyone else saw the dress on me before I did. The process could really be streamlined if they made those changes, but I still wouldn't recommend them to my friends unless I knew they weren't putting all that buying pressure on their customers any more.
Elizabeth was great. She made the experience as painless as possible, even enjoyable. We went through many dresses, and she was very attentive and chose some good dresses that helped me figure things out. The dressing room was comfortable and the selection was pretty extensive, though no couture designers. I was very please with my experience there. Would absolutely recommend it.
When I went into WCB I had no intention of buying a gown. This was the first place I was looking and I expected the prices to be way over my budget. Dena, my wedding consultant, was fantastic! She helped me find dresses that looked great and when I found THE ONE she helped me find a payment option that fit my needs/budget. It's worth it to check out Wine Country Bride!
The selection of suits for the groom is wonderful. There is a wide variety. I think their staff is great. They were very helpful in fitting and finding the best suit for my fiancé.
I LOVE this place. I got engaged in June of 2010, and this was the second salon I went to. I had no idea what to expect (I had watched too many TLC shows, haha), and I wasn't planning to buy. My consultant was so sweet, and really took her time to help me understand the dress I was trying on at the moment, and to let me stay in it for a few minutes, just seeing how it felt.
I did end up purchasing, and it was a great price (not to mention exactly what I was looking for!)
My (now husband) and I did most of the planning ourselves, but WCB helped us find an officiant, DJ and florist with their Rewards program. Then we had a wedding emergency less than 3 months before our date: our venue was double booked! Wine Country Bride went to work, they found us a new site and got them to reduce their site fee for us, since it was an emergency. The new site was so beautiful, and we never would have found it if it wasn't for WCB.
We also got tuxedos, my sisters dress and my moms dress, and we did all our alterations there too! I honestly have no idea what I would have done without this place. After our 1 year anniversary, I got my gown and veil preserved there, too.
I absolutely loved everything I picked out! My only complaint is the same complaint I have with the entire bridal industry! It was so insanely expensive! I felt absolutely sick asking my bridesmaids to pay $200 dollars for their dresses! My dress was a "pink tag" dress which means they only had one of them so I got the price cut down a bit which helped. The bridesmaids did get a voucher for a certain amount of jewelry which was nice and I ended up picking them all out matching jewelry. All in all the service was great they still recognize my face when I walk in and My dresses were gorgeous!
I had a good experience at Wine Country Bride. I had NO idea what I wanted, but my consultant took her time with me until we found a perfect dress. She also helped put together the whole look with a belt and a veil. The alterations lady was also very good – she helped instruct my family about the bustle of the dress and made sure everyone understood how to do it. She even accommodated my when I was 20 minutes late to an appointment (I entered it incorrectly in my calendar). The dress, veil, and belt all looked stunning on me on my wedding day, and I was very satisfied with my purchase.
For future improvement, I would recommend that clients are notified consistently of their appointments. I remember getting a reminder before purchasing my dress, but I got no reminders for my alteration appointments. I also would have liked them to be a bit more accommodating with my alterations appointments. I was not aware that the “first fitting” was just an opportunity to try on my dress – no alterations or measurements were taken at that time. I traveled from Los Angeles for every appointment so I could involve my family with the dress process (they live in Santa Rosa), and it was disappointing to make a trip and not have anything done to the dress.
I shopped around for my wedding dress -- and I mean a lot. I must've tried on dozens of wedding dresses before finding the right one, and I went to quite a lot of different stores with no luck. I wanted a princess dress with some sparkle but not too much, not too expensive (I ended up spending $2,000 on the dress), and a top that could accommodate my very large chest... and for some reason, even though that sounds easy enough, I wasn't really finding it. Also, most places had small selections and only wanted to let me try one a few dresses at a time, and that was really frustrating, too.
Anyway, Wine Country Bride helped me find The Dress, and it was wonderful. I looked and felt amazing on my wedding day, and the dress fit perfectly and looked just absolutely spectacular! The prices for their wedding dresses are reasonable and on par with other stores selling the same dresses (I checked!), and the service there is also fantastic.
There are two down sides to getting your dress from there. One is that it's quite a drive from San Francisco proper -- Google tells you it's only an hour, but it takes more like 1.5-2 (in each direction). This isn't a big deal the first time, or the second time, but when you have to keep going back for fittings, it gets old. Also, the dresses are reasonably priced, but where they get you is the cost for alterations, shipping, etc. My dress was $2,000, but then with alterations and everything it ended up costing close to $4,000 at the end. I also bought my veil through them, so that contributed to the cost, but the veil was only around $200, so most of the cost was for the dress. On the other hand, though, the seamstress who did my alterations was incredible, and you won't find yourself in better hands for your wedding dress alterations (she actually specializes in wedding dress alterations, which is more unusual than it seems, because of all the complicated beading and layering and such that goes on with wedding dresses).
Anyway, overall? Wonderful experience, would highly recommend!
I got my dress from Wine Country Bride and I couldn't have been happier with it. It's a beautiful dress that I will treasure forever. I picked out the dress monthes ahead of time and they told me it would arrive a month before my wedding. It arrived earlier than they stated which was nice. The store also made it really easy to pick out accessories and try eveyrthing on together. My alterations were also done ahead of schedule and my dress fit perfectly!
I attended the Wine Country Bride Expo and found this store. I made an appointment to try on dresses. My first impression was good, very professional, made you feel like you were in a big city dress shop, my 1st consultant was great. I worked with her for a couple of months, trying on and ordering my dress. Then months later when my dress came in, she was gone so I was assigned a new consultant. This girl was not so great. When my dress arrived and I went to try it on for the first time with my family all excited, she pointed me to the dressing room and walked away. I asked, "aren't you going to help me?" She replied "oh you need help? ok." At this time another life changing event had happened, I was 4 months pregnant, unexpectedly. I was very anxious as I didn't know if my dress would fit and i still had 2 months to go. The consultant told me it probably wouldn't work but I could always buy a new dress. Excuse me?? I had already spent $1800 and just didn't have an extra $1800 lying around. I asked her to get her manager. The manager came in, reassured me the best she could and things were a bit better at this point. I took the dress home with me, 4 hours away. I found my own seamstress in town and the manager was great to work with at getting me extra material, lace, and tulle from the company and sent to my seamstress so I could still wear my perfect dress. It was overall a good experience except for the unprofessional, non-caring consultant.
Wine Country Bride provided my dress, my girls' dresses, and my alterations. For the most part my experience was fantastic; the sales ladies were attentive, solicitous, and helpful in narrowing our search.
However they were not very communicative when it came to the bridesmaid dresses. The alterations were very expensive, and my seamstress actually pointed out that there was some damage to the dress that was done before I bought it but was not factored in to the ultimate cost of the dress--otherwise I would have given five stars.
Wine Country Bride puts on a Wedding Expo each September and after attending I thought I would check out their dresses. Large selection, but too pricey for my budget, so opted to purchase my dress at David's Bridal and my girls' maid dresses at Forever 21. However, I did use Wine Country Bride for my alterations, which thankfully were minor. The seamstress was so accommodating, they found me a bustier at the last minute. I made appts for 6pm (after work). All that was needed was a little taking in on the sides and snaps put into the dress and bustier. She had it all done in a week and a half. So one fitting and then pickup. Price was 20% of the cost of my dress, so that was unexpected, but because of the time of the appts and short timeframe for return of the dress, it was totally worth it. Staff is friendly, place is clean and organized. Nice experience.
I only went here to find my wedding dress. Picked this place because of the size of the store and how many dresses they have in stock. We didn't have time to special order and found MY dress on my first day. Bought it that day and still am in love with it.
I love the selection of dresses. Everyone is so helpful.
Great looking store with a great layout. they have a wide variety of dresses and services. i thought the dress was a little expensive but it fit perfectly after being fitted 4x! i looked amazing in the dress but it was definitely more expensive than i wanted to pay for it.
They were well priced as far as the dresses go & the staff was great! My only complaint was that the alterations were extremely overpriced.
I was a destination bride, there was a few thing I had to do before walking down the isle and one was have a bustle included in my dress. It was Sunday about 1pm (6 days before my wedding) when I went to see Natasha the seamstress. She was very clam, and confident. She was able to put in a bustle for me in less than a day. She was great. Highly recommended.
It was very beautiful and made me excited to be getting married and picking out my wedding dress. They were very knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I described I was looking for.
It didn't feel claustrophobic like some of the salons I've been to. It was clean and there was a nice selection. And the location was convenient for me.
;They were rude to my bridesmaids as well as me at times. They could not get the alterations right and made me return several times for fittings (charging for each time)and did not get my dress steamed and pressed right (left wrinkles, etc).
The choices were outstanding. They had everything from off the rack dresses to designer dresses in the $10,000 range. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They know their dresses and body types. I ended up wearing a dress that I probably never would have even looked at because one of the girls said I had to try it on. It ended up being THE ONE. They have an on site seamstress that will do all your fittings and she does them well! I only had to have two fitting and my dress had MULTIPLE layers. Their bridesmaid dress selection is also fabulous.;Most of my bridesmaids were from out of town and therefore needed their dresses fitted only a couple of days before the wedding. They weren't able to accomodate this need, so we ended up having to have the dresses sent to the girls and they found someone to do the alterations. Not a big deal and I think this is pretty typical of most bridal salons.
Great knowledge of the dresses and very patient and easy to work with.;Make an appointment!!!
They had a very large selection of bridal and bridesmaid dresses
I had a tough time making my final decision, so I went in quite a few times. They were always helpfull!;I had no problems really.
