r wedding date, they graciously made it happen without hesitation—something I’ll always be grateful for.
During the planning process, I injured my knee, and once again, they were incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. They checked in regularly, making sure I had everything I needed and that I never felt overwhelmed or alone.
One of the things that meant the most to me was how they prioritized inclusivity. They took special care to ensure that our guests with special needs were fully accommodated and felt welcomed and comfortable.
Winhaven isn’t just a beautiful venue—it’s run by genuinely kind and caring people. I couldn’t have asked for a better place or team to help bring our day to life.
Kyle and Caitlin were a DREAM TEAM! They made our wedding day go as smooth as possible. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. All of our guests also complimented on ho...

The venue was amazing!
We've been to Winehaven numerous times and always love our time, but having our wedding there was absolutely exceptional. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful throughout...
the entire process (whether planning for the wedding or simply enjoying some wine while we envisioned the day). Taylor, the event planner, is simply the best!! Anyone that has the chance to work with her is very lucky. Thank you Taylor and the entire Winehaven staff for such a wonderful experience! We'll be back to enjoy more wine...often! :)
Venue is absolutely beautiful. Our ceremony outside with the lake, trees and vineyard surrounding it was perfect. Taylor is wonderful to work with, and we had the best day!

ns and would respond timely. They were very accommodating with our wants/questions/concerns due to COVID. The venue also speaks for itself and we did not need to add much additional decor which was a great money saver. Loved it!
Taylor and the entire Winehaven Team were amazing to work with, starting with the first day that we toured! We fell in love with the venue instantly and from that moment on, they w...
ere a dream to work with! Leading up to the big day, everyone was so accommodating and responsive to all of our questions, making the entire process so much more easy than anticipated. Taylor worked with us for the entire 11 months of planning, available via email or phone whenever we needed her. When it came to the big day, the whole team helped put together the venue, making it absolutely perfect! We are so happy we chose Winehaven for our big day!
We've started referring to Winehaven's owner as Uncle Kyle, because you would have thought our daughter was his niece with the level of effort and attention he and the Winehaven te...
am put into making her wedding wonderful. The wedding was 6/17/17, and the vineyard and surrounding area were stunning. Taylor had just been promoted to the Event Coordinator position and did a great job. Most venues are full of rules and upcharges. The only rule we encountered at Winehaven was to make it a great event.
A few examples of the VIP service we experienced:
• When we came in January, Kyle gladly hiked with us in out in the snow so we could see both outdoor ceremony locations.
• As we were setting up for the reception, Kyle, Taylor, and the team checked in to see if we had everything we needed. Whatever we were missing (scissors, help with the tablecloths, a place to store bins) they were on it.
• Kyle’s mom, Cheri, helped us with the logistics for a surprise flash mob.
• I saw staff touching up the windows shortly before the event to ensure they sparkled.
• We set up for the ceremony indoors because the weather was questionable, but when it cleared, Kyle was fully on board with moving 200 chairs outdoors, even though it meant a lot of extra work, including moving them back in the rain.
• Both Kyle and his wife were at the reception helping with clean-up.
• Kyle and the Petersons have a warmth and joy that permeates Winehaven. He seems to genuinely love this special place and enjoys sharing it with guests.
I highly recommend Winehaven.
I had my wedding at Winehaven and what a beautiful venue and great wine! Amy, the hospitality manager, was amazing to work with through the entire wedding planning and on the day ...
of my wedding. She was very prompt in responding, her attention to detail was amazing , and she was very easy to work with and extremely professional.
My husband and I were married at Winehaven Winery on August 27, 2016. We could not be more thrilled with our wedding day and the amazing accommodations we received. It is a family-...
owned winery, and the family is extremely outgoing in every capacity. A personal, caring touch is apparent in everything they do. Amy, the event coordinator, was there every step of the way and spent the whole wedding day onsite, expertly guiding the entire process. I can not rave enough about the beauty of the vineyard, the large reception hall and the exceptional Minnesota-grown wines. There is a very large suite for the bride and bridesmaids to prepare and wait until showtime. On the big day, I had full faith that Amy and the rest of the family were present and actively working to make the day a success. I was able to sit back and enjoy my day while final preparations were made by the staff. I highly recommend this venue for any bride.

r, which was so helpful and reassuring to have. I left so much in her hands, and she made the day completely stress-free. In addition to the wonderful staff there, Winehaven is absolutely beautiful, and such a unique space. The stone walls and exposed ceilings were the perfect backdrop, and allowed me to keep decorations minimally romantic with lots of greenery, flowers, and candles.
My husband and I recently got married at Winehaven 9.10.16. We could not have had a better experience with Amy and the Winehaven family! We booked the venue two years in advance,...
and we think the venue has come a long way since then. In the beginning there was slight confusion with the catering company but all details came together. Amy was fantastic at communicating throughout our wedding process-very personable, friendly, and supportive! Winehaven's building is breathtaking. We had our ceremony and reception on site. Our guests spoke very highly about Winehaven! What we appreciated the most about our experience at Winehaven was the staff's involvement. They were part of the process and made a genuine effort to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be from start to finish! Winehaven is located close enough to the cities but far enough out where you can really enjoy the rustic charm of Chisago City! The only issue we really ran into is that Winehaven was unaware of a large event going on in the community, which resulted in us having to book our hotel a half hour away, but usually there is a hotel option very close. They did provide us with local services, including transportation, so we made it work. But overall Winehaven is HIGHLY recommended!!! Not to mention they have the best wine in the area!!!

hey were working with even though I know they have countless weddings and events there. They opened the venue early for the wedding party and I to get our hair done in the upstairs area/bridal suite and allowed us to bring in our own breakfast and lunch. We had the whole upstairs for ourselves! Amy Perrin was amazing at answering my questions and coordinating every last detail. She was onsite the whole time to ensure everything was flawless. I especially loved the outdoor ceremony location (incredible pictures, very convenient for guests, and you can't hear the traffic from the freeway) and the ability to move inside if the weather didn't cooperate. They allowed us to bring in lawn games for the social hour and we were able to securely leave vehicles in the parking lot overnight when they shut the gate. The owners even took pictures of our ceremony and texted them to me the next day - they truly go above and beyond to make your day special (and it doesn't hurt that their wine is delicious :) I would HIGHLY recommend!

ose vineyards in Napa- its that beautiful. It was the first venue we looked at and my husband was obsessed. Nothing compared to how beautiful Winehaven was and how great the service was. Kyle and the Peterson family were so wonderful and after meeting them we knew we wanted to get married there. Amy, our event planner, and the Winehaven staff were always so nice and willing to do anything for us. I had my ceremony and reception there. Our vineyard wedding was a dream come true!!!

resent the day of the wedding, brought concerns to my attention and kept me calm and collected :) the only downside I would say would be there size cap is a little off. It says they can have up to 300 guests in the space. We had about 240 guests and it felt packed! I would say the max would be 250 if want to have some elbow room! But out of all the venues we looked at we found that having the whole entire space for our wedding was the best part. From getting our hair and makeup done in the morning, pictures outside, the outdoor patio for cocktail hour all the way to the end of the night, the place felt like it was ours! Another downside was the exclusive caterer they have, Mintahoe. They provided great food but I don't think they were prepared to serve all of our guests, especially at the bar. Overall I would say Winehaven is fitted for a more intimate wedding but I still wouldn't change anything about wedding day! Thanks again Amy!
I cannot say enough about the service we received by Amy and team at winehaven. The event was spectacular and everything I had asked for. We really lucked out with the weather and ...
we were blown away by the courteous demeanor of the staff and owners. I would highly recommend for an outdoor, rustic, romantic, exquisite venue. Loved, will always come back for the wine and to relive the memories of an amazing night.

c elegance style of the indoor details, this venue more gorgeous and dreamy in person than it is in pictures! Kyle and his family along with Amy, the Hospitality Manager, took us in as their own family and were genuinely as excited for our special day as we were. From our first tour the day we got engaged to the day following our wedding, we knew we were in the right hands. We held our ceremony and social hour outdoors and our reception indoors. Their service, attention to detail, support, excitement and love is truly out of this world and unlike anything we've ever experienced. They help with every detail, answer every question as soon as you ask it, and do everything they can to help you enjoy every step of the journey. The location is perfect, the bridal suite is a blast, the GrandStay Hotel nearby offers beautiful accommodations for guests, and most importantly, the experience for us, our families and our guests was something money just can't buy. THANK YOU to the people that made our day possible (and for the delicious wine!). You hold such a special place in our hearts! We would recommend this venue a thousand times over!

rked very hard to ensure everything went smoothly in the months leading up to the event. The winery is absolutely gorgeous and we already have a few sneak previews of how wonderful the photos turned out. My friends and family all had an amazing time, and thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the venue and the great wine Winehaven makes. Truly a memorable experience that we will never forget!!

held our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors and reception indoors. Between the Petersen Family (owners) and their caterers, Mintahoe Catering, we knew we were in GREAT hands. They are professional, attentive to detail, responsive, creative in their solutions, open to feedback, and full of genuine excitement (which is contagious!).The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly -- even stopping what they were doing to assist certain guests that needed a little extra help walking to the outdoor ceremony site. My husband and I cannot wait to see this venue become the most sought after in the Twin Cities! They will no doubt be extremely successful in the wedding business. Oh and the wine is DELICIOUS! :)
