I knew we needed flowers for our bridal shower, but I did not know much more than that. When I contacted Tara of Winston Flowers, she was immediately responsive and helped guide my daughter and I through the process. We ended up with a spectacular array of floral displays, from small groupings of bud vases to large table pieces, including a magnificent mantelpiece display above the Italian marble fireplace on the second floor of the Hampshire House. The flowers played perfectly with the table settings, the carved oak paneling, the crystal chandeliers, and the tall Palladian windows overlooking the Boston Common. The morning of the event, I was a bit worried, because there was a huge road race that blocked off the entire area around the common. I needn't have worried. By the time I got there at 10:30 a.m. for the noon event, Tara and her crew had been there and were gone, leaving the room looking bridal and spectacular. She coordinated at every step of the way with Michele, the event planner at the Hampshire House, accomodating changing seating patterns, the shifting number of guests, and other details. She also helped me keep exactly within my budget. Most important, the flowers were just truly so beautiful and artfully designed. If you have an event coming up and you need help with flowers, I can wholeheartedly recommend Tara and her crew at Winston Flowers. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and the floral displays were gorgeous.

Winston has a great selection, and their reps are friendly and helpful. Our flowers were minimal, but I never felt pushed into spending more or agreeing to something we didn't want. They were the only florist to return my call when I first reached out. I appreciated that we had several conversations before meeting in person. As the wedding neared, I thought we'd have a chance to work with the designer to select specific flowers, but that didn't happen. The flowers still turned out beautiful, and everything was on time and as we had discussed. I would recommend them for their professionalism and gorgeous arrangements.

We worked with Molly during our wedding planning process. We had a small wedding with a smaller request for flowers and Molly was SO helpful and kind during each interaction. We had ferns for our wedding ceremony in beautiful urns they had available and my sister and I had bouquets chosen from the wedding collection on their website. It was a great way to get amazing flowers from a very reputable company. I highly recommend looking at the wedding collection online - our bouquets were stunning! I'm so glad we got our flowers from Winston Flowers and were lucky enough to work with Molly!

The planning and prompt response time from Tara was fabulous. She was easy to work with and offered many suggestions. Delivery of all floral arrangements were on time and all exquisite ! We couldn’t have asked for better! Thank you for helping to make my daughter’s wedding beautiful !

Wedding planning is a whirlwind. Getting boutonnieres for myself and my groomsmen was back of mind. But I still wanted them to have the right flair. After undertaking little research, I found Winston Flowers and they were just what I needed. Tara was super responsive and I barely had to do anything to place my order. They offer 3 different types of flower for the boutonniere, and I chose an orchid because it looked great in the brochure photo. Turns out it was even prettier when I picked them up from the Newbury Street shop on the wedding day. And bigger than I expected! They were a great compliment to our suits. Winston does a solid job with the arrangement. I'm very pleased with their service. Ordering and pickup couldn't have been smoother, and the price was reasonable IMO. Tara's note of congratulations to me was sweet as well. They take their work seriously there.

The Winston Flower team was an absolute pleasure to work with during our Spring 2023 wedding reception in Boston. Winston came highly-recommended by our venue based on their exceptional floral design and customer experience. We were looking for less wedding traditional arrangements, and the design team exceeded our expectations with stunning wildflower centerpieces – including fresh purple/white/yellow foliage with surrounding greenery. Event Specialist Tara was thoughtful, responsive, and seamlessly coordinated logistics with our hotel venue. Thank you for making our wedding weekend so beautiful.

Our wedding was surprisingly stress-free and we have the amazing vendors we found to thank for that. Winston was recommended by our venue and, honestly, we had no idea they were so highly regarded! One of my groomsmen, who works for the Four Seasons, said that they always use Winston for their events and galas. I am not surprised now that I have seen their work. They asked us when we were getting married, what our ideas were, what our color scheme was, and what flowers we needed. We provided them all of this information and with that, they provided the perfect selection. The bridesmaids' bouquets showed up to the hotel and people's jaws dropped. They were STUNNING. I was expecting great flowers ... I was not expecting these breathtaking arrangements. Thank you so much, Winston. If you want elegant and gorgeous - hire them!!

It really does go without saying that Winston Flowers are the best. Working with Julia and Michael at the South Boston studio was an overall great experience. They listened to what we wanted and provided ideas to help shape our vision. They exceeded our expectations!! Honestly, seeing the bouquets and all the arrangements ended up being one of my favorite parts of the wedding!!

Everything was perfect and exactly what we envisioned!! From our bouquets, to the boutonnieres and centerpieces, we couldn't have asked for more! We had the pleasure of working with Lydia McMullen, who joined us seamlessly when our original coordinator moved on to another opportunity a few weeks before our wedding. She was outstanding; she completely understood our color scheme and how we wanted everything to come together. Winston Flowers, in particular Tori Samuels and Jeanne Welsh, took care of everything that made my wedding venue look classic, elegant, and simply breathtaking. The flower arrangements, decor, lighting, table arrangements, name cards, dance floor .. everything was perfect for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception - I couldn't believe how amazing the room was each time. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! Our venue coordinator had nothing but praises for this company. I hadn't heard of them but after seeing their pictures of other weddings and meeting to look at mockups with our planner everything was all that I could ask for. My uncle who works as an event designer out of state was super impressed as well!

Winston flowers was great to work with, professional, and super quick to return my communications with them, which as a nervous bride, was very reassuring. My flowers came out gorgeous (which since I was not very specific about what I wanted was extra awesome). The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that we were short a boutineer (sp?) and had to pull a rose from a bridesmaid bouquet to fake one. But it was caught early, and no one noticed so it became a non-issue.

This was perhaps the only vendor in which my parents, husband, and I found ourselves to be disappointed by. While Winston's came highly recommended by our reception venue and has a reputation above all other florists in the Boston area, we found ourselves frustrated by a lack of communication throughout the planning and design process. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, and I was pleased that peonies were still available for our June 21st wedding. However, we were not shown a tall centerpiece during the mock design and they did not turn out the way I had envisioned on the day of the wedding. My only complaint is that Winston's could do better listening to the visions/requests of their clients. For what you spend with Winston's, their customer service should be above and beyond.

I worked with Michael and he is amazing! In just a few seconds he put together my bouquet that I loved! Our tables looked even more beautiful than I imagine and our Huppa was a piece of art!

They came recommended by the Boston Harbor Hotel where I had my wedding and they did a fantastic job! All of the flowers and decorations were beautiful! My only complaint is that my bouquet wasn't what I had envisioned and discussed (it had more of a purple scheme than blue). Other than that, everything was beautiful!

We were initially going to use another florist as we thought Winstons would be out of our price range. After the other florist gave us a terrible proposal (didn't listen to what we asked for annnnd was far beyond budget requested); our event planner suggested we give Winstons a try. They listened to what we wanted, and were able to be very competitive on pricing, coming in close to what we had hoped to spend, while giving us the quality we wanted. They have also worked with the Library and The Catered Affair in the past, and were very easy to work with on logistics. I would highly recommend to any bride in Boston, whether you have a tiny budget or an unlimited budget - they are fabulous!

I worked with the Wellesley Winston Flowers (with Stephanie the floral designer and with Honor). I would work with them again any excuse I get. They helped me with flowers for hair. They were always calm and professional with plenty of ideas as well as super excited to help me out. Stephanie came up with great bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages and helped me with my custom touches. The quality of the flowers and greens were stunning. I cannot say enough good things. (We only used them for limited flowers: bridal bouquet, 1 bridesmaid, groom boutonniere, 5 small boutonnieres, 3 corsages.)

We cannot say enough about our time working with Winston Flowers! My husband and I live overseas, which we thought would make the process more challenging, but the team at Winston was so accommodating and went above and beyond what they needed to! The entire process from start to finish was so easy and Tori and the team completely exceeded our expectations for our big night. From the ceremony arrangements, to the cocktail hour set-up, to the dinner/reception arrangements, everything was just flawless. We would HIGHLY recommended working with the team at Winston Flowers for any event!

So I switched florists 3 weeks before my wedding. Winston not only delivered GORGEOUS flowers, they did it cheaper than the other florist, were a professional, and listened to all my comments - and made all adjustments I requested. Could not have asked for more!

Winston Flowers provided absolutely beautiful flowers on our wedding day and also topnoth service! To say we were happy or satisfied is an understatement - they nailed the exact look we were dreaming of and in fact, it surpassed our expectations. Additionally, they do all of the deliveries and set-up for you so really, it makes things very easy and worth the price! They even pinned the groom's boutonniere on before dropping of my bouquet! During our meeting we provided them with photos, color preferences, and vases and then they created a truly beautiful and elegant floral display while working with our very limited budget. Our guests loved our flowers! They commented on how perfect they were for the event and how cute the groom's boutonniere was. And, my bouquet perfectly matched the groom's tie! It was the most magical and incredible day of our lives and we are so thankful for the work that the Winston Flowers team put into making it such a beautiful and happy day! Thank you!

Beautiful flowers! My bridal bouquet was very beautiful beyond any of my expectations! All the flowers were fresh and delivered in the great condition! I was impressed that all the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets had separate vases. It came very handy during the wedding. Other personal flowers were exceptionally well done. I really enjoyed working with our flower designer Souvala Ingram and coordinator Caitlyn Bransfield. Thank you very much!

We worked with Winston Flowers to provide the entire look and feel of our black tie winter wedding in Boston - from flowers to table settings and even the chairs. Everyone we worked with was awesome. When we originally received the pricetag, I admit, there was some sticker shock however we asked for them to help us with a number of different items and they came highly recommended so we proceeded without question. Turns out flowers can be one of the bigger ticket costs of the wedding regardless of who you pick - and with such an important time, you need to completely trust the florest to provide quality which Winston absolutely does! We were completely delighted in the final results. My bouquet was phenominal - and I had unique requirements they absolutely exceeded my expectations on! The ceremony room had just the right feeling we wanted. And the reception ballroom, WOW, it took my breath away the first time I saw it! Guests commented all night on the "magical" feel Winston created. Our assigned designer really listened and provided creative suggestions I am so happy he offered. A great company and team to work with and results that still give me happy chills! :)

I was very suprised to find that purchasing flowers by the stem from Winston's store on Newbury to be just as inexpensive as any other floral shop- except I still go the same quality flowers that Winston's is know for. A great value that was very easy to acheive at the last minute.

Wonderful attention to detail and great service - the florists were even willing to work with me when I changed my mind last minute about table centerpieces. They filled all of our wishes perfectly, and made our event absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended

The flowers came out FANTASTIC, beyond my wildest expectations. Michael O'Brien did an amazing job. The price was expensive, but the customer service was excellent. We were able to negotiate to a price I was more comfortable with, but it was still a bigger investment than their competitors. We had very specific requests as far as getting locally grown flowers, and the staff was accommodating and patient with us in explaining their own standards and where the flowers come from. We appreciated their insistence on flowers with labor certifications (for foreign flowers) and growing practices that are more sustainable. This was important to us and we felt that they took it (and our questions) seriously as well, although the sourcing was not 100% transparent because of their trade relationships with certain farms. Although I've heard that they're NOT the absolute MOST sustainable game in town, they seem to use their considerable influence toward making sustainable choices more widely available. I was quite satisfied with my experience.

If you are the slighest bit non-traditional and you don't have a $10,000+ budget for flowers - then you are not a good customer for Winston flowers. They don't get anyone who doesn't want a traditional wedding or who doesn't have lots of money to spend. Save your money, go somewhere else.

My flowers turned out to be one of the best parts of my wedding. I had very little knowledge about flowers when I arrived for my first meeting. All I knew was that I wanted no roses and shades of purple. We walked through their warehouse and I just pointed to things I liked. They had a large selection so it was fun to poke around. They had a lot of patience with me. Even with little direction, they took the time to understand me and what I would like. On my second visit, they had made a table arrangement of the flowers I selected. We were able to mix, match, move and play with all the flowers, vases and candles so it was perfect. The day of the wedding they arrived on time and everything was beautiful. Both my sales rep and the person who put all the arrangements together came to make sure that I was happy with everything, which I was. The only downside was that they were more expensive than I would have liked, but I was willing to pay because they had a great selection and made it so simple for a girl who knew nothing about flowers.

I knew Winston's would be perfect - contrary to popular belief, they can be affordable, with the right direction. Personal flowers were pricey, but our centerpieces were beautiful and not over the top. Pleasure to work with.

I had originally picked a different florist for the wedding and was iffy on their work. I called Meghan and knew this was a fabulous florist! They were recommended to me not only from reception location but also word of mouth. Our centerpieces were fabulous!!! They were a little pricey but worth it in the end.

We worked with Victoria Samuel at Winston. She did an incredible job -- helping us think through how we wanted the ceremony and reception to look, working with us as we had different ideas along the way, coming up with a beautiful plan, and putting together a completely lovely wedding. Winston did flowers, lighting, tables, chairs, decorations, chuppa -- everything, and it was all perfect. Could not have been happier.

I had Winston's do my outdoor pool side rehearsal dinner as well as my wedding reception at The Taj Rooftop. Both were spectacular! I have always loved Winston's floral arrangements and I new it would be worth it to pay a little more money to have everything taken care of. They got the look I was going for and everything couldn't have been more perfect. Beautiful job as always. I highly recommend Winston's!

Winston Flowers provided beautiful flowers for every detail of our wedding with very little notice. They made great recommendations for the site of the ceremony and the reception, and delivered flowers to the salon and hotel before the ceremony. They worked within our budget and made great choices. And worked on very short notice. Well done!
