Sarah and Ashley are consummate professionals who made our wedding day so much more enjoyable and relaxed. While we didn't hire a wedding planner, we knew we would absolutely need help on the day of the wedding - there are so many moving pieces to keep track of. Hiring Without a Hitch was easily one of the best decisions we made - Ashley was our main point of contact throughout the process and she kept us on task and organized, prompting us to solve timeline issues and logistic challenges we hadn't even considered before talking to her. Our wedding would've have been far more chaotic without her advice leading up to the main event, and her calm and organizing presence during the festivities was a godsend. If a full wedding planning service is out of your budget but you are still considering a day-of coordinator, look no further! We cannot recommend Without a Hitch enough!
I don't even know where to begin, but Without a Hitch and more specifically Ashley is a must book for your wedding day. We had a large, 200 person, formal wedding in the back and side yard of a private home. We turned the yard into a gorgeous venue, and that would not have been done without the help of Ashley!
From the first planning meeting, Ashley and Without a Hitch were on top of the timeline formulation. They made sure to raise points that we had not yet thought about in our planning process-- with recommendations on how we should go about completing those tasks. Ashley was always incredibly available via email, to respond to any updates or questions that came up. the timeline was incredible and so helpful for the day. Not to mention she was so sweet, personable, and easy to talk to.
Ashley got to the space early, and set it up to look like a dream. She followed all the directions I had laid out, but also used her judgment in areas that needed tweeking. She was at the church setting up, got on the trolley to give out the bridesmaids bouquets, affixed all the groomsmen and fathers boutonnieres, and even opened the doors before I walked down the aisle.
When we got to the reception, she checked in with us to see how we were feeling, and what we needed. Let us into the tent so we could see the space before any guests entered it, got us champagne, got the grooms reception jacket to change into. Seriously above and beyond. She coordinated with all the other vendors during the wedding to make sure we were running on schedule. Any time we left the dance floor Ashley was right there to check in on us and see if there was anything we needed. She stayed until the end of the night and made sure the guests all got on the buss to the after party.
I can not recommend them enough, our wedding day would not have been the same or been anywhere nearly as perfect without all their help, planning and attention to detail!! 1000000/10 recommend.
Molly from Without a Hitch was so great to work with leading up to and on wedding day. For us, the day was perfect and we had the best time every step of the way. Molly made our lives so easy that day (it really went without a hitch!). It was great that everyone in our lives could spend time enjoying the day rather than helping coordinate logistics for the wedding. Molly checked in with us regularly on the day, and it really helped us accomplish everything that we wanted to while staying present. We also were both very excited to see all the little details that we planned to set up and ready to go as we went through the evening- we kept saying "oh it happened!" as we saw different things set up throughout the night.

Ashley was our day of coordinator for our wedding. I am so thrilled we hired her! She and her team worked with us leading up to the wedding to keep us on track and helped me plan ahead for some of the small details I would not have thought of. The day of the wedding Ashley knew exactly who she needed to connect with, what my priorities were, and she had a comprehensive timeline for the day thanks to her pre-work. Our day went so smoothly and Ashley did fantastic navigating th last minute questions that popped up. All I had to do was get married and have fun, I can not emphaisze enough: hireWithout a Hitch and Ashley to have a day free of worry!
Molly & Sarah were so amazing to work with. We talked with them several times during our wedding planning and they were always patient with answering our questions and offering expert suggestions. Ashely Allen and Sarah Narcus were a tremendous help in the weeks leading up to our wedding. They worked with us to go through a detailed timeline for the day and gave us a clear idea of what information we needed, what decisions we needed to make, how much time we should budget, and what things we should remember to do that we hadn't even thought of (people need to stop for lunch, who knew!). We were so burnt out by the last few weeks of wedding planning that we were nearly dreading the wedding day. Ashely’s encouragement cheering us on and gentle reminders to keep us moving forward were exactly what we needed. We were actually able to have fun and enjoy our wedding day thanks to Without A Hitch, since we knew that the details that day would all be expertly handled.
On the day of our wedding, Ashley perfectly coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everything went according to plan and to promptly resolve any hiccups that came up. As just one example, we brought in outside food for a guests with severe food allergies, but one meal had some issues. Ashely went above and beyond in taking care of everything for us to ensure that the food was definitely safe for our guest, and we didn't even find out the full story until after the wedding day. The fact that we didn’t learn about the biggest issue of the day until afterwards (and the fact that THAT was the biggest problem on our wedding day!) showed just how deftly Ashely kept everything organized and running. All in all, the team from Without A Hitch helped us make it over the finish line and have wonderful, fond wedding memories to look back upon. Their clients are so lucky to have them on board!
I literally could not have made it through wedding planning without the support of Without a Hitch. The women I worked with were beyond helpful, friendly, professional, and flexible. All of the administrative stuff clear and easy to navigate. My day-of coordinator was responsive and supportive leading up the wedding. She literally took away all the wedding planning stress on the day of my wedding, which allowed for me and my husband to be present and enjoy the day! This service was 100% worth it. I highly recommend Without A Hitch!
Hiring Without A Hitch day-of-coordination was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day! Sarah had been helping us coordinate for a year and a half and consistently responded to our many, many emails. She kept us on task but never rushed with planning leading all the way up to our big day. We seriously would have been so lost without her guidance! On our wedding day, we knew we could completely trust Sarah to deliver everything we meticulously planned without us having to worry about a thing. If you’re on the fence about hiring a day-of-coordinator for your wedding day, absolutely do it and then choose Without A Hitch because you will not regret it!
Sarah was organized, detailed oriented, and a proactive communicator. Our initial meetings outlining all of the details were helpful to make sure that we were keeping track of everything that went into our wedding day (which is a lot!)
That said, when it came to deciding the particulars of our event, we found Sarah's communication style to be a bit dismissive of our own ideas, and heavy handed. We would have loved to have felt more supported.
Our day of coordinator, Molly was kind, supportive, and a warm presence to be around on our wedding day. We were grateful to her for her presence.
I recommend Without a Hitch 100% without hesitation! Sarah is very clearly a pro on all things wedding and her guidance and advice helped put us at ease from our very first conversation up until the week of our wedding. Ashley, our day-of coordinator, was truly a dream. Yes, she was also critical in the behind the scenes work leading up to our big day but what sticks out to me the most is the moment she arrived in the bridal suite at our wedding venue. I was slightly panicked until the moment she walked in and eliminated all of my anxiety. She is the most calming presence you'll ever encounter!! My wedding day wouldn't have been the same without Ashley by my side keeping everyone in line and everything on track. The only thing I had to "worry" about on that day was getting myself down the aisle. If you're on the fence about investing in a day-of coordinator and have the budget do it, I strongly recommend making the investment in Without a Hitch. I guarantee you won't regret it.
Sarah and Lexi were fantastic! Lexi was our day of coordinator but she was much more than that. She kept us organized, helped us think of things we wouldn't have otherwise, and generally gave us peace of mind that nothing was falling through the cracks. The weather threw us a curveball with a hurricane the week of our (outdoor) wedding, and both Sarah and Lexi jumped in to help with all of the last-minute changes. Their positive attitude and assistance really helped diffuse so much stress. Even with all of the changes the wedding day went perfectly and so much of that is owed to the Without a Hitch team. Highly recommend!!
We highly recommend working with Without a Hitch! Allison was our coordinator and she was a dream to work with. She was communicative, responsive, and answered hundreds of questions from us leading up to our wedding, going so much beyond the role of "day-of" coordinator. On the day of, Allison provided us with a positive, calm presence. We were able to truly relax and enjoy our wedding day because we trusted in Allison's ability to set up our space, manage logistics, and keep us on schedule. Our families and friends loved working with her as well! Allison thought of so many details and touches that we never would have considered and we appreciated that so much. I wish Allison could be by my side on every stressful day of my life, but for now I'm extremely grateful for her work on my wedding day!

We worked with Molly and Sarah from Without a Hitch for Day of Coordination for our wedding earlier this November. I would also say we came probably a little late to the game, but I even more want to recommend them as they helped us get back on track! Their attention to detail especially with the planning helped us get a lot of loose ends completed that we didn't even know were there and led to the event itself being absolutely flawless! Additionally, we used a couple of their vendor recommendations who were truly incredible to work with. Molly was such a joy during planning and day of to! She was always there whenever I or my mom needed her, but so unobtrusive and calming as well! She also coordinated really well with our venue contact, and they were a dream team! Highly recommend Without a Hitch and Molly!!! Thank you so much for a truly unforgettable day!
Ashley is absolutely amazing! We had a somewhat unconventional morning ceremony and lunch reception and Without a Hitch helped make the wedding happen -- without a hitch. Without a Hitch is the exact type of professional wedding planning/coordination help we needed — helpful initial call to get us moving, unlimited email responses to send us in the right direction or give us helpful tips and referrals whenever we felt lost or needed second opinion, impeccable timeline creation, and extremely on-point coordination of all vendors and guests on the day of! Our wedding day would have been so stressful and chaotic without Ashley’s reassuring presence (and of course, her wonderful work creating the timeline from day 1 and aligning the vendors the week before the wedding)! Sarah is also super helpful in our calls and answered our questions promptly when Ashley was on vacation. 10/10 recommended for any couples that want a great day-of/week-of coordinator whose help and guidance starts from the date you sign the contract.
Sarah from Without a Hitch was truly integral to our wedding truly going off 'without a hitch!' We got married at Olio (the Peabody venue that Sarah separately owns), so when we met her for our tour there, it was a no-brainer to choose Sarah as our coordinator -- she was organized, responsive, warm, and genuinely excited to help us execute our vision for our special day. From the day that we hired her, Sarah sent us recommendations for different vendors and checked in with us through the planning process. She was always available to answer the miscellaneous questions we had as we planned the event. As the day got closer, Sarah worked with us to gather the details and create a timeline of the day. She sent us tasks each week to check off, which helped make things more bite-sized and manageable rather than overwhelming. On the day of, Sarah was efficient and organized and as a result, the whole day was executed seamlessly. She guided us through the day, letting us know where we needed to be and when so that we didn't need to think about it. Sarah handled everything from leading our rehearsal the day before, to coordinating with all the vendors, to occasionally acting as the photographer's assistant, to grabbing us a cocktail to enjoy after the ceremony. Whatever we needed, she was there and as a result us and our families were able to enjoy every moment of the day without any stress at all. We cannot recommend Sarah enough!
Hiring the incredible women from Without a Hitch was the best decision I made for my wedding day, aside from marrying my husband. ;-) We were able to experience every moment to the fullest because Tracey was there to make sure everything went smoothly. If you are considering using their services for your wedding, do not hesitate, book them NOW because you will be beyond impressed and overjoyed with the impeccable service they provide. Sarah and Tracey are incredible at what they do, and I know our day wouldn't have turned out the way it did without their knowledge and expertise thinking of every last detail. We are so grateful!! Lexi from Without a Hitch was a huge part of our wedding and I could not have been happier that she was there! We had a bit of a non traditional wedding venue and needed to bring in everything for the event, so having Lexi to coordinate day of was absolutely necessary. From keeping me on track with the planning, to handling unexpected events on the day of with ease, she was so professional and helpful. She was able to make great recommendations of things I hadn't thought of and she understood my vision and was able to execute it flawlessly. I cannot recommend Lexi enough!!
Molly & Sarah at the Without A Hitch team were so wonderful to work with. I called Sarah in a panic 1 month out from my wedding thinking I could do it all on my own. After the first initial kickoff call Sarah and Molly immediately took a weight off my shoulders. The timeline they put together is so thorough and detailed it eased my anxious brain and made me confident everything would go to plan. On the day of my wedding I truly was hands off and trusted Molly to execute my vision. It exceeded my expectations and brought me to tears. Where do I begin! After meeting Sarah at our tour of Olio, hiring her as our day of coordinator was by far the easiest decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. She immediately made us feel like we were a priority. We spent two years working with her and her team. There was no stone left unturned. They were understanding and receptive to our big ideas and reassured us that nothing would come in the way of our day being perfect. By the time our wedding weekend came around, we had no doubt that Sarah would make sure our very specific and detail oriented vision came to life. She and her staff pulled it off flawlessly and made us feel like royalty from the second we walked in the door on our wedding day. For couples that don't need a full-service wedding planner, Without a Hitch is an absolute MUST for your wedding day. Before the wedding, Molly helped us create a timeline for our event and did a walkthrough with us and our caterer which was so helpful to begin coordinating with all of our vendors. On the day of our wedding, Molly was the perfect stage manager, flawlessly managing the entire event from setup to breakdown. She kept everyone on schedule, coordinated multiple vendors at a venue with a very challenging parking/delivery situation, facilitated a quick changeover between ceremony and reception, and created an excellent flow to the entire event. We felt like we could enjoy our entire day, knowing Molly was taking care of everything! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Without A Hitch!! Sarah and Allison were a dream team to work with - starting from the very first call with Sarah when we immediately knew we needed them in our planning process, all the way through Allison overseeing the cleanup at our venue and making sure we were able to end our night without a single worry! I could not imagine planning our wedding without their guidance, help, or resources. Allison made sure everything looked perfect on our day, the entire day flowed SO smoothly, and we were able to ENJOY our entire wedding day because Allison had everything under control!!
Working with Lexi as our DoC was a true pleasure. From the beginning of the planning process to the main event, she was super organized, attentive to detail, professional, and positive. Her wedding timeline, action items, and periodic check ins kept us on track and helped fill in gaps that we never would have identified on our own (transitions, signage, etc.). On our wedding day, Lexi absolutely crushed it. She fully managed setting up decor, working with our venue and all our vendors, and making sure our rambunctious families stuck to the schedule. I had such peace of mind knowing she had everything under control and was able to fully relax and enjoy every moment. From helping me bustle my dress to calling tables up to the buffet, Lexi plugged in everywhere she was needed and kept everything running smoothly. We could not have done it without her!
THIS ONE! Pick this day- of coordinator service. Without a Hitch was instrumental to our wedding day running smoothly. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing Tracey was. We received invaluable support from the moment they signed on, to our first call and then their continued references when we were seeking out vendors. And the day of the wedding? Well, Tracey exuded warmth, calmness, understanding, and a preparedness that soothed every nerve I had. Tracey went absolutely above and beyond. The fact that the day ran smoothly and I didn't have to stress over a single logistic is a testament to her work. But in addition to that, Tracey was getting grass stains out of my dress, calming my nerves, making sure I had food, and when I had an anxious moment she was there for a hug and a kind word. I could write a whole essay on how valuable Tracey and Without a Hitch is, but I'll just tell you to hire them instead!
We had a great experience using Without a Hitch! We met with Sarah and Lexi prior to our wedding for our initial planning meeting which was very helpful. Lexi was our day of coordinator and she did an amazing job!! She helped keep us on track with timing, kept me calm and was very organized. Leading up to the wedding she was always communicative with me via email, responded quickly and helped keep me on schedule and was communicative with our vendors. We worked with Allison Campbell from Without A Hitch to coordinate our wedding. Allison was extremely helpful helping us account for extra details by preparing a timeline then offering extra support the week leading up and the day of! On my wedding day I didn’t have to worry about a thing and neither did my bridesmaids or family! I found WAH particularly helpful for set up and clean up when I was busy being the bride. Definitely recommend hiring them for extra coordination support!
I hired Without a Hitch to help with my wedding planning process and it was the BEST decision I made for the wedding. Ashley and Sarah were extremely helpful in helping my husband and me create and stick to a timeline and helped us work through so many little details that I never would have thought of on my own. On the day of the wedding, Ashley made sure everything flowed seamlessly and provided me comfort and assurance any time I got stressed. A true life saver! Could not recommend them enough and wish I could give them 10 stars!
You don't know what you don't know - but Molly did! Our daughter's wedding last week (June 4, 2023) at Artists for Humanity was literally WITHOUT A HITCH. Our entire family, including the bride and our son (the officiant!) was able to relax not just the entire day, but for weeks leading up to the wedding. AND, we didn't have to spend a huge percentage of our wedding budget on a planner to have that calm (and excitement) we had. We knew that if there were hiccups, Molly M. would be there to solve them. We don't THINK there were hiccups (because Molly was so on top of things) but if there were, we were blissfully unaware. Molly went above and beyond (how did those things get in our car at the end of a long night?). That's what you want - a professional who can be there to deal with hiccups who also conveys appreciation for our special bride and groom. No one wants a grumpy person with a clipboard at their wedding - Molly was calm and joyful and if she had a clipboard, I didn't notice because she was always smiling!
We absolutely would not have enjoyed the entire process and wedding day nearly as much without Without a Hitch.

Having an off-site ceremony, a hotel room block, transportation, etc called for a day-of-coordinator. We were referred to Without A Hitch from a competitor - and we are so glad we hired them. You should enjoy your wedding day and be in the moment - hiring any coordinator of some sort ensures they will do the worrying and organizing for you. If something goes wrong or falls behind - you AND your parents shouldn't be the ones to deal with it - the coordinator will already be on top of it with their experience and professionalism. Now let's talk about WIthout A Hitch specifically and the amazing Michelle and Sarah. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, I worked with and updated a massive timeline that Michelle & Sarah helped us design. So as time went on and things changed, we made updates. Now I have to also highlight the incredible pivoting these two women did during our wedding weekend. Due to an unfortunate emergency - Michelle could not make it to our rehearsal last-minute and Sarah quickly jumped in and made it to our rehearsal [before me!] and lead the rehearsal and passed the notes onto Michelle that night, who showed up the next morning completely filled-in and ready to go. As a bride this was at first a bit stressful, but all that mattered was the way they handled an unexpected and uncontrollable incident. Things happen and I couldn't have been more thankful we went with them vs someone else! Michelle was an absolute ray of sunshine in the months leading up to our big day and on the day of course. Couples can often end up in "decision fatigue" after planning such an important event for a year or more, that it helps to have someone experienced help you make big decisions. Michelle was an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy coordinator and has a plethora of experience in weddings. She made me so happy and made me feel so special day-of. She reminded me to take deep breaths and be in the moment throughout my day and worked wonderfully with our other coordinator that was on-site at our reception venue. I can't leave a review without mentioning the fact that my bustle broke during the first dancing at the reception. This is common with Greek dancing with all the feet near each other, but I was totally horrified! Michelle re-bustled my dress with safety pins in less than 10 minutes which proceeded to hold for the rest of the night. It was truly a miracle and I'm not sure what we would have done without her! I didn't want to miss anymore dancing than I already had to. If you have a wedding day with lots of moving parts, don't hesitate to hire Without A Hitch!
We hired Without A Hitch for day-of and help coordinating our overly complex wedding in November. Although we are very operational, detail-oriented people, and we set out to plan a simple, fairly small wedding (about 80 guests), the logistics for a wedding ceremony in downtown Boston and a reception 25 minutes away in Chestnut Hill ended up silly complicated. Without A Hitch was the perfect decision for us. First, Sarah and Michele helped us manage the escalating logistics with a detailed timeline, experienced insights and helpful nudging. And Michele was an awesome day-of coordinator. She was over the top marvelous on the actual wedding day. In the weeks after the wedding multiple friends and family asked me “who was that wonderful woman”. She took responsibility for all the little details, including managing the guests and the multiple venues, all while maintaining an impressively warm, engaging and efficient manner all day. Without A Hitch were the people we didn’t know we needed that we needed the most.
We reached out to Without A Hitch when we found out we would not have as much assistance with our wedding day as we had originally thought. And we are so so grateful for stumbling upon Sarah and this company. She introduced me to Jessica, my day of coordinator aka the literal beacon of light on our wedding day. My day would not have been 1/4 of what it was if it was not for Jessica Pires!! She was the most supportive not just for the day of the wedding, out for the months leading up to it as well. Not only do they schedule multiple calls with you, they create a seamless timeline for your special day, get your vendor contacts, and takes everything OUT OF YOUR HANDS from then on! She was organized, thoughtful, and most importantly she had me and my husband's best interest in mind all night long. I never once had to worry about a lull or a hiccup, those did not exist on our day! We could not have dreamt of a more perfect wedding and we owe all of that to Jessica, Sarah and all of the Without A Hitch support! 10/10 recommend!!
We truly cannot thank Sarah and Without a Hitch enough for everything she did for us leading up to and on our wedding day! I often joked with my husband during the planning process that she saved my wedding life on more than one occasion and our wedding day was no exception.
From the initial consultation I could tell she would be a great fit for us with her superhuman communication skills, organization, and infectious energy. She would check in on us every month to see how we were doing which was extremely helpful. We ended up moving just before our wedding so we are so grateful we had her there to keep us on track during such a hectic time.
Her reassurance meant everything to us during planning, anytime we got bogged down with an element of planning Sarah was there to remind us we were in a great spot and doing just fine. Her expertise was also invaluable to us, I remember being really stressed about our shuttle schedule and Sarah hopped on a call to help make a plan. I left that call feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
Fast forward to wedding day, Sarah knew what we needed before we did. She knew our priorities for the day and was there every step of the way guiding us through our timeline. One of our biggest priorities for the day (besides marrying each other) was the food. After our ceremony, Sarah was there to meet us with a plate of cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and our favorite drinks so we wouldn't miss out on the delightful apps we picked out.
She even took a few photos of our wedding and decor which we were so grateful for. On the one hand we were delighted that our guests followed instructions for our unplugged ceremony but then we didn't have any pictures until the sneak peek from the photographer was ready!
It was truly the most wonderful and special day and we got to enjoy every moment of it thanks to Sarah and Without a Hitch.
We hired Without a Hitch to help us execute our wedding day and it was one of the best decisions we made. We wanted the ability to be super present and not worry at all on the day of our wedding that every detail we had carefully planned was brought to life.
Our coordinator Michele was extremely helpful keeping us moving forward with a detailed list of items to organize that we filled in over several months. She and Sarah were always available by email for questions, and when the day came, Michele was a rockstar. We had to make a difficult decision to move our wedding inside and she very professionally and empathetically guided me to make the right call. She was there to attend to every single need of ours from setting up the venue the way we wanted it to herding cats for family photos to ensuring I had water and snacks and food throughout the night. I has several guests tell me how effortless the night looked from a logistics standpoint and I cannot stress enough that was because of all the hard work that was happening behind the scenes. Jessica was the best day of coordinator! She helped to keep me on track during the planning process and was there for everything us and our vendors needed throughout the day! She made our day so stress free.
Despite her being new to Without A Hitch, Kristen was fantastic. She responded quickly to emails, had a great sense of what we needed to accomplish in order to ensure a smooth wedding day, and helped us complete a very detailed timeline document that all our vendors were able to follow on the day-of. There had been changes in staffing at my venue during the planning process, prompting us to hire Kristen to fill in. She helped relieve a great deal of anxiety for us, and on the wedding day, she was right by our side, helping us with every little thing we needed. That said, it became difficult at times to navigate communication between the coordinator at our venue (who was hired after we retained Kristen) and Without A Hitch. Although they told us in the beginning about the limits to their communication, it wasn't entirely clear to us how tricky that can get later in the process. Still, we don't regret hiring them, and are thankful for everything Kristen did.

When we initially hired Without a Hitch to coordinate our wedding, we had a meeting with them for introductions and initial tasks. Michele was our coordinator, and while she seemed nice and professional, we have to admit, at first, we weren’t really sure if her help was necessary. We thought it was a little indulgent. As the wedding day grew closer, we realized that Michele was asking us so many questions we never would have thought of. She was using her experience to help us anticipate every little problem that could possibly arise. She answered every little email question we sent promptly and thoroughly.
On our wedding day, we arrived at the venue and Michele was industriously running around, communicating with vendors and setting up decorations. When she saw us, she stopped everything she was doing and greeted us with big hugs and smiles. This was a trend throughout the night. The second she saw us, she would stop everything and make sure that everything we needed was taken care of. We never saw her in the same place twice that night. She seemed to be able to teleport. It was shocking to see how hard she was working to make sure everything was going smoothly!
Without a Hitch was one of the most valuable vendors we hired for our wedding. Michele understood how much we were investing in our wedding, how hard we worked to plan it, and she poured into it all of the love and hard work we did. We are so grateful to Michele and so glad that we trusted Without a Hitch with coordinating our wedding day!

Without doubt the best decision we made for our wedding was to hire without a hitch for our wedding day.
Our day-of wedding coordinator was Jessica, her calm, organised ,and warm nature made me feel immediately at ease.She made sure everything ran smoothly,frequently checked in with myself and the bridal party,groom and groomsmen, overseeing 3 different locations for ceremony/cocktail hour and reception , photographs and room set up .We could not have asked for more.
They also made sure to check in with helpful advice on timeliness throughout the whole planning process, coordinated zoom calls and emailed frequently to check up on how we were progressing and contacted all our vendors to make sure everyone was organized and on time.
We were so happy with the whole package and highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding !
If you have trouble planning like me, Without a Hitch is what you need to get it done! Everyone will tell you that having a day-of coordinator is really helpful, and it IS, but what makes Without a Hitch stand out from the others is their consulting services and timeline help. You can email them simple questions in the months before your wedding (like budget time for makeup, vendor recommendations, tipping, etc.). Not only did they set up a timeline for me, but they followed up with me on my progress filling it out, and those gentle pushes were necessary for me. They met with me on-site before the wedding. Their experience in event running is evident and it's so helpful to have a team that knows about the little planning details that might not occur to you. My wedding was outdoors and in a sort of challenging venue and we did it!
A little obvious wedding advice: don't forget to communicate all your preferences to your day-of coordinator. For example, my venue was at a museum so if guests arrived early it was open for them to explore. I also wanted a faster bridesmaid procession. Those are things I had in my mind but never actually communicated with my coordinator. Maybe make a list of these things as they come to you.

The single thing I could not have gone without was Allison, our day-of coordinator from Without A Hitch. I don't know how we could've pulled it off without her and Sarah. We had to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID, and we have literally been talking with them since 2019 when we booked them. Sarah was great at communication and getting us through the postponements. She also offered us guidance whenever we had random questions - Sarah and Allison were basically our go-tos for whatever wedding-related questions we had when we had no idea who to ask. Allison was really wonderful in helping us plan the wedding — there was just a lot of things we didn't even think about that she was able to provide guidance on in terms of how the event would flow. On the day of the wedding Allison was just the perfect person to be there to keep everything running so we could enjoy the wedding. She was ready for anything - for example, my bustle hooks/buttons broke during the reception and she was there with a box of safety pins ready to help my bridesmaids re-create the bustle! We also had wedding crashers that caused some trouble that she helped take care of! She was so sweet, so kind, and just ready for anything. 10/10 highly recommend Without A Hitch, if you're on the fence just go for it and you will not regret it at all.
We hired Sarah for day-of wedding coordination for our event at Olio in Peabody on July 2, 2022. Sarah is an expert in her field and knows her stuff! Throughout planning, she always asked the right questions, organized our day of timeline, made recommendations when planning felt confusing, and encouraged us to the finish line. On our wedding day, Sarah was on point. She was able to protect my space before the ceremony when guests were looking to talk to me before the ceremony and helped us move our family photos inside since the day was so hot. As a designer, I had very specific directions for decor set up and she ensured the entire space looked exactly as I imagined. Her experience in the industry really showed and she truly made sure the day went off from start to finish without a hitch! I would 100% hire her again for day-of event coordination!
Without a Hitch was the single best investment we made on our wedding day, hands down. I am SO glad we decided to book them! Our wedding was rescheduled 3 times due to covid and the Without a Hitch team was so flexible and helpful through that process. Jessica had such a calm demeanor through the rehearsal and wedding day. Tracey was the day of coordinator for our backyard wedding last month, and we're so glad we decided to work with her and Without a Hitch! She was our most responsive vendor, often replying to our emails leading up to the wedding within minutes. Before our wedding day, she put together a detailed timeline for us, answered random questions that came up, and did a site visit. Of note - they do stick with the contract pretty closely, so it will cost extra to have more meetings/support (which makes sense).
On the day of, Tracey took care of everything - organizing all the vendors, pinning my bustle when nobody else could figure it out, making sure we stayed on track, and problem solving on the fly. We weren't even aware of most of what she fixed/dealt with until the next day because she protected us from it. Because of her, we were able to be fully present, relaxed, and have so much fun on our day. (seriously, we had a blast)
We initially thought that we wouldn't need a day of coordinator since our wedding was small (about 50 people) and we're pretty organized/punctual people. I'm so glad we changed our minds! Weddings are stressful (especially backyard ones where you're bringing in a lot of vendors), and I can't imagine having to do it without Tracey. In sum - highly recommend Without a Hitch - they're worth it!

Working with Without a Hitch was one of the BEST decisions we made in our wedding planning process. We worked with Allison, and I cannot speak highly enough of the support she provided us not only on the day of, but throughout the almost year we spent discussing and preparing for my big day. The funny thing about wedding planning is that for so many of us brides, this is the FIRST time we’ve ever planned an event, never mind an event as important and complex as our wedding day. Once I selected all my vendors, I didn’t know where to begin or what else was even needed – it felt so daunting. Allison swooped in with her expertise, kindness, and sense of humor to help bring all the pieces I had chosen together to create a perfect day. She worked with us to put together a very precise timeline and coordinated with all of our vendors so everyone knew where to be and when. Our schedule was so well organized that by the time I reached the week of the wedding, I was able to do something completely unheard of – I was able to RELAX, confident that everything was all set in Allison’s hands. On our wedding day, I was able to be 100% present for every moment, the only items on my to-do list being to get married and enjoy myself. Everything, down to the finest details, was done exactly as I imagined it, from the way to tables and decorations were set to the way the evening flowed from one happy memory to the next. For anyone planning their wedding, when you are going through your budget and the “must-have’s” I HIGHLY recommend you prioritize working with Without A Hitch. The experience they allowed us to have on our day was absolutely a “must-have.”

Having gotten engaged right before the pandemic began, we were unsure of where to begin or what the world would look like in a year. We reached out to Sarah about her day of coordination company after seeing how friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with she was. Jillian was our day of coordinator and she was amazing! She was so detail oriented, even down to the minute of sunset. There were so many details that we never would have remembered on our own. The recommendations we got were also incredibly helpful. We ended up booking catering, photography and the DJ from their lists; all of whom were amazing. Jillian kept us on track and gave us tasks to accomplish every month. Walking up the stairs and seeing the finishing touches put together by the team and all of the vendors gave us such a sense of calm on a whirlwind of a day. Throughout the wedding, Jillian checked in and updated us on the timeline to keep everything moving smoothly. Jillian jumped right to help while I struggled with bustling my dress for pictures. She really made sure our wedding was seamless and went off without a hitch. We cannot recommend Without a Hitch enough!
Working with Sarah and Allison at Without a Hitch was the best money we have ever spent! We were blown away with the responsiveness, flexibility and most importantly kindness. Navigating life and planning a wedding during a pandemic is impossible to put into words and without their help and expertise I don’t think we would have gotten it done. Our wedding day was better than we could have imagined. Our experience and wedding day would have never gone as smooth as it did without having Allison to keep us on track. Our day was mapped out by a well detailed timeline, organizing wedding vendors and keeping us on schedule so we didn’t miss one moment of our day or forget anything during the daunting planning process leading up to the big day. Jillian was absolutely incredible to work with and plan our wedding! She was patient and understanding as I slowly provided the details needed for our wedding and helped me immensely stay on track. You were also the best go to for any ideas that needed to be bounced off of. Your vendor recommendations throughout the planning were so helpful as well! Even on the day of the wedding, I started to panic about a few details and you listened and calmed me down. I have other vendors quote and compliment that your timeline and details were in the top 2% with organization and detail. The outlined timeline had everything it needed for each vendor, the venue and the entire bridal party in addition to us. I can't thank you enough for everything you and without a Hitch did to make our wedding a dream come true!
During Covid there were so many factors to one decision that kept preventing us to stay on track, but Jillian was beyond patient, understanding and extremely helpful to keep us best on track.

Hiring Without A Hitch was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning and is worth every penny! Even though they are day of coordinators, they help so much before the actual day. I had met with Sarah and Allison months before our initial wedding date. Allison was our direct contact during the whole process and was our day of coordinator. Based on our feedback from our initial meeting they were able to help sketch out what the actual day would look like. Unless you are a professional wedding planner you likely have no clue what the day of your wedding would look like in terms of how much time everything would take and the best order for everything. Allison also provided great recommendations, in which I ended up using one their recommended hair and makeup artist. When our wedding venue had to be switched, they immediately emailed me with other recommendations that fit our taste, and we landed on Warehouse XI. Allison was so helpful through email and made sure I stayed on schedule with finalizing all the planning and details. On the day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about anything because we trusted Allison. She did an amazing job and made sure everything ran smoothly as well as help set up our signage and gift table. At the end of the night she made sure that any values we had were gathered and handled. I couldn't recommend them enough to help ease your planning and especially to ease any stress the day of your wedding.
Without a Hitch made coordinating our wedding so easy and painless. Being a COVID bride things were 100x the stress but Kristen took all that stress away the moment we hired her. She kept us on track, gave us words of encouragement and the day of took care of everything. She even took some photos for us and shared them after our wedding. We got married in October 2021 in Cambridge, MA. This was a rescheduled date. We were originally supposed to get married in July 2020, but didn't... for obvious reasons. So, the pandemic and wanting to make sure that we were celebrating safely and responsibly was nerve-racking. On top of that, we were coordinating our Cambridge wedding from Chicago, which came with its own complications. Without a Hitch was guiding us at every step. In that way, the help they provided went well beyond just the day of. Sarah and Jillian were valuable resources leading up to our wedding. When we had questions (and there were many!!), they provided timely and thorough responses via email, and our phone calls were always incredibly helpful and informative. Jillian did such a great job keeping us on track as we got close to the date and helped us put together a detailed timeline.
I was so impressed with how on top of everything Jillian was on the day of. She was so calm and in control. She handled all of the communication with our other (wonderful) vendors and always made sure that we had drinks in our hands. If there were any problems, we didn't know about them! We were also so appreciative to have her help with set up and breakdown. Everything looked absolutely perfect. And at the end of the night, she made sure the right things went home with the right people. We really didn't have to worry about a thing.
I considered the pros/cons of hiring a day of coordinator vs. a full on wedding planner. I ultimately decided that I wanted to be involved in the planning and details, but didn't want to be stressed and have to deal with the random stuff that inevitably comes up on a wedding day. I also wanted my friends and family members to be able to enjoy the day without needing to worry about the day of details as well.
We got exactly that, and more. We had the best time at our wedding. Planning a wedding was stressful, but it was all worth it when we got to relax and enjoy the day we put a lot of time and effort into. Hiring Without a Hitch made that happen and I highly recommend working with them.

Thank you to Without a Hitch for a carefree wedding day! I had nothing to do but enjoy this amazing once in a lifetime event. We hired Without A Hitch a few months before the wedding. It was totally worth it. Allison was a pleasure to work. She stayed up to date on all our vendor details up to the wedding day at the Gardens at Elm Bank. On the wedding day she beautifully set up all the signs and gift/card, photo/guest book tables, assisted my daughter, the bride, with her entrance to the ceremony, got red wine off her gown, diplomatically directed guests and the bridal party from the cocktail hour in the gardens to the reception in the carriage house and organized the bridal party intros. Behind the scenes she seamlessly made sure our complicated shuttle arrangements ran smoothly, kept all the gifts and cards organized and secure and much more. We had Allison stay on for an extra hour which also was really helpful. We highly recommend Allison and Sarah from Without A Hitch!

I was on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator. Our venue had someone who was to coordinate day of, but they weren't responsive and I felt a little lost with my planning. I decided to go for it, and thankfully I did because about a week later we had to find a new venue and rework our plans with 4 weeks to go! Tracey and Sarah were so supportive, responsive, and calming. I sent a whole lot of panicked emails and each time I was met with comfort! Tracey killed it day of! Let’s start with the facts: We cannot recommend Jillian and Without a Hitch more to any couple looking for a day of coordinator to make their wedding day amazing! From the first meeting we had, it was abundantly clear that they knew exactly what they were talking about and how to pull everything together for us. We started with a bare bones outline of things we thought we wanted, and Jillian took that, guided us through the whole process, and created an amazingly special day for us. She was knowledgeable, informative, organized and encouraging throughout the way, really emphasizing a team approach. She answered my thousands of questions, and always made time for us, never making us feel like we were ‘too much.’ We were one of the many couples that rescheduled because of the pandemic, but it felt like we never missed a beat. Jillian got to know us, understood our wants/needs and was amazing at carrying those out the day of. She was an anchor in a crazy day for us, with being pulled in many different directions, helped us stay on track with timing, coordinated probably more things than we were even aware of that day, and had a smile on her face the whole time. As an example of her attention to detail, she asked myself and my husband if we wanted to go into the venue first, as a sneak peek, before guests started arriving and milling about. It was so special to see our vision from paper in real life, and was an extra moment for just the two of us that we wouldn’t have had without Jillian’s thoughtfulness. We will cherish that moment of walking in together, being in awe, taking all the details in as one of our favorites from the day. If you’re one of those people thinking, “I’m organized. Do I really *need* a day-of coordinator?” Stop it right now and hire these amazing ladies. There are things you don’t know that you don’t know. And you will want their wisdom. Their meticulous schedule was my bible. I may frame my well-worn copy as a reminder of how perfectly everything came together. Jessica was vital on the day of my wedding. Helpful, thoughtful, proactive, laidback but never missing a beat. She was a delight to be around and felt like one of the guests. I was getting lots of compliments about how smooth and skilled she was. And Sarah is the woman behind the curtain: a total boss and an absolute sweetheart. Hire them before they get booked up by A-list celebrities. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
The combination of professionalism, organization, and all things wedding knowledge combined with an upbeat personality made Allison the perfect day of wedding planner!
