Instead of a separate shuttle from the bridal shuttle picking up our guests, the driver decided to clean the bus and then pick up guests at the hotel... 15 minutes before the start of our ceremony with the same bus. Long story short, this resulted in ~40 guests arriving one hour late, thus cutting our reception short by one hour and throwing off the rest of our timelines. To make matters worse, the shuttle then didn't end up coming until 30-40 minutes past the reception ending time. This resulted in our guests having to scramble to look for high demand and surged prices ubers during a Wrigley concert weekend. After reaching out, we only got one ride comped, even after causing the most stress on our day. Do not recommend.

months leading up to the wedding, I didn't receive a response. They responded to my planner though and confirmed the details so I thought everything would be fine. On my wedding day, we hired a limo for the groomsmen and groom and a party bus to take the bridesmaids and I, the bride, to the church. From the church, the limo would leave and the party bus would be with us the rest of the day. The party bus took the bridesmaids to the wrong location - not to the church. He took us to our photo location for after the church ceremony. The driver said he had no record of the address for the church. We had to direct him to the church after he already went 20 minutes in the opposite direction. It caused everything on our wedding day to run late. This led to increased costs for the videographer and photographer, poor lighting in photos because it was night time rather than day light when we got to take pictures because of the delay, etc. I would not recommend them at all - biggest mistake I made.

On your wedding day, you call me at 3:08PM that driver wants to leave your wedding and I told you that I will check what is going on. Once I saw that you booked 3 hours (from 12:30-3:30PM) and you wanted a vehicle to take you back to the venue I told you that we will send another vehicle around 5:30PM. Your guest did not want to leave the bus so the driver stays with you 3 EXTRA hours. At that moment we have one more wedding.
As I told you all calls are recorded (with you and with the driver), you have all emails with us that you booked 3 hours, not 6. There is no limo company in Chicago that does Party Bus 6 hours for $1000. If you have any questions please free to contact us.

I get it. Stuff happens. As company, when you get an upset customer, you apologize and try to make the situation right. My husband complained about the service; they were unapologetic, and the only consolation they offered was not charging us overtime for arriving to our reception a half hour after planned. (Yes, if you read the previous paragraph, you'll realize the reason why we were late was because their driver.) After our honeymoon, my husband and I began writing reviews for our wedding vendors. He gave them a poor rating on WeddingWire and Yelp. Shortly after, they called him, asking him to take down the review, saying they would charge us the $250 in overtime. He did not take it down, and later that day saw the $250 charge on the card.
I work in public relations/marketing, and I have NEVER seen a more unethical social media strategy. Blackmailing your unhappy customers to pipe down is a new low. Thus, I feel a responsibility to share this story wherever I can to warn other couples. I don't doubt the authenticity of the positive reviews. I'm suggesting there might be more to W-Limo's story that they don't want you to hear.

With all due respect everything that you were promised you did receive. It is not our drivers responsibility to rush you along so you reach your reception on time as you obviously weren't accounting for traffic in downtown Chicago on a Saturday...
afternoon. That is a matter of organization from your side, we only provide the transportation. There simply was nowhere to park at that time at Wabash and Wacker as it is easier for my driver also to park and wait, therefore just because your husband saw other buses waiting doesn't mean there was any room for our bus to join them. If you are running late for whatever the reason we will try to accommodate you to a degree where we aren't breaking any traffic laws by double parking or speeding to get to your reception. The DVD player was never fixed as it was/is working fine (maybe a case of asking the driver for some operational help). Due to your disatisfication with our service your husband and we had a deal that we wouldn't charge you the additional hour in exchange for what you feel as though you were lacking and addionally not to post any negative reviews against us. As for your claim of blackmail it is surely not. Blackmail would clearly be that we filmed something illegal and want $XXXX.XX or we release it to social media (which we would never engage in). We had a deal and your husband broke that deal when he started posting reviews one month after the ride therefore we see no reason to honour our end of the deal either consequently charging you for the additional hour that was used. If our service was as bad as you say, personally I would have gotten out and taken taxis or Uber (gotten a full refund through refusal of service) and surely not extend my service an additional hour. the price that I paid. Our driver showed up early, took care of our baggage and delivered us safely to our destination in pouring rain so strong, I don't know how he saw anything in front of him. The only small negative that comes to mind is our driver being very impatient as we were running behind. He did make an additional stop for us and was very courteous in his service. The hummer stretch afterwards was late and the driver wasn't dressed professionally at all. The drinking glasses in the limo were dirty so we didn't even drink the champagne.
On the way back the coach bus for our parents, sponsors, the flower girl and the ring bearers was changed to a party bus. They gave us one day notice the day before the wedding that the coach bus we signed a contract for was overbooked and we were "upgraded" to a party bus. A party bus is NOT what we wanted for our parents and children to be transported in.
We took our complaints to them and they gave us a gift certificate for more of their limo services. Definitely should've been given some money back.
In summary. Don't. Just don't.

Limo major credit for one incident. Our Maid of Honor forgot her purse on the bus when we got to the reception downtown, and by the time she realized it, our driver was already on the expressway back to Des Plaines. He (or someone) made a special trip back later that night to return the purse, and we can’t thank them enough for that!
Our one complaint is that our driver refused to take Lake Shore on the “no trucks” portion south of the Michigan exit, saying that the shuttle bus counted as a truck. That was news to us because we’ve seen plenty of buses on that stretch of LSD. We trust that the driver/W Limo were accurate about it, but we wish we knew that in advance. W Limo knew the locations we planned to go well before that day, and it wouldn’t have taken much to let us know about that issue. The traffic on the local streets we had to take instead was heavy and prevented us from getting to Museum Campus, where we hoped to take pictures. We found an alternative site, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but definitely frustrating. We probably should have just been more thorough in discussing our plans with them in advance. Live and learn.
So as I said, we were satisfied overall. We’d use them again, and we’d recommend them to others as well!

appointed. I was shocked when I saw a tan/brown bus pull up when I was contracted for (and preferred) a white bus. While it was nice inside, it wasn't very pleasing on the eye for photographs outside. The white bus is what was listed on our contract and confirmation form, so it was definitely shocking to have a different color without being given a heads up. Also, the cord to play music was frayed and wouldn't work but luckily we had an iphone charger on us that worked. Most importantly though is that 15-20 minutes before the ceremony started, I received multiple calls from your company asking what to do because no one was getting on the bus at the hotel and "he had to leave because he had another event scheduled". Not something the bride wants to deal with right before she walks down the aisle. It's partly my fault because my number was listed on the request form but looking back I wish there would have been another line for the day of contact. Also, it would have been nice to know upfront that the quote I was given was based on 16 people and it would have gone up had we had more people. I assumed that the quote I was given was good for the maximum amount of passengers since I was given a quote for a 26 passenger bus for 3 hours (no disclaimer on passenger count). Sorry to sound so negative but I was on the fence about booking a party bus and was excited when we decided to go through with it. I'm really big on referrals and while my communication with you has been positive my experience the day off didn't meet expectations.

The day of the wedding they arrived on time, in a clean vehicle, as we had agreed. The only issues we had were with the driver who tried to hassle the photographer about bringing his equipment on the bus (of which there really wasn't much at all, so I didn't see what the issue was, there was easily space for it), but that was amicably resolved without further problem. through some pictures at the church before departing. The ride to alternate photo location and reception was about an hour from church and the driver had the best route planned. We didnt hit any traffic and the ride was absolutely smooth. the limo was stocked with champagne and other beverages for everyone to enjoy, and even the decorations on the limo were an extra (included) treat! The driver was very professional and friendly, and we appreciated how easy the drive was that day. The best part was watching our two little flowergirls have the ride of their lives. They were so excited to be in the limo having water in the champagne glasses :) They also told the driver he has the coolest car. It was an absolutely perfect day and the ease or your company's service made our transportation issues flawless and seamless, all for a very very reasonable 3 hour package price. Absolutely great service. The Excursion we had for the wedding party was amazing, and when I needed a last minute stretch limo for just an hour the morning of the wedding, they accommodated us quickly and with a fair price.

Rented 18 passenger party bus for 3 hours for 10-13-12 wedding. Compared multiple services in Chicago area and prices seemed comparable. Staff very professional on phone (slight accent but easy to understand) and was easy to work with.

Party bus very spacious and I liked having standing room. It was cloudy/rainy on our day so a bit dark inside as there are only 'party lights', not normal lighting but we had a great time. Stereo access in back so you can pick music, has auxillary cable to plug in phone/mp3 player.
We arrived at our destination at exactly 3 hours and driver rushed us out as he had another client to get to which I only note as on the phone they said we could go over time if needed for additional fee and I'm not sure what he would have done if we had been running late and had another client to get to.
Overall it was on time, professional, clean and did exactly what we needed.

Upon communicating with W Limo the next day, we were told that the driver was late due to heavy traffic. As "compensation" the company offered us 10% off our next ride with them. Needless to say, we will never be using the company again.

u know the highway has been blocked because of the woman who attempted to commit suicide by jumping off an overpass. That unfortunate circumstance was absolutely beyond of our control. Driver was trying to reach you as fast as he could, choosing all possible alternative ways but sadly, delay was inevitable. And you know all that! Moreover, we have sent you the link to the news published in "Chicago Tribune" (and for others who'll read this, here it is: http://tinyurl.com/m67pvu7 ).
In the contract it is clearly stated that we cannot be responsible for situations deemed "Acts Of God" and by all means this is precisely that.
I can say only that this bad review is absolutely and completely undeserved and does not reflect quality of our service. I'm sure everyone who reads your review and this comment will agree.

We rented a hummer limo for our wedding from W-Limo. It was a great limo and the driver was prompt and got us to each destination in a timely manner. We only had the limo for a few hours though and the price was a little expensive.
