And then there is the venue itself. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and be married lakeside and then had our cocktail hour and reception in the Lakeview Dining Room. It is an absolutely beautiful setting and the food was incredible. Again, the staff were attentive, professional, and operated seamlessly. We stayed on site at Woodloch Springs along with some of our guests which made for a really fun weekend - it was like a mini vacation! My husband and I also golfed and we hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Clubhouse dining room. We also used their catering services for our after-party and brunch. From start to finish it was a perfect experience and I can’t wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary with a weekend at the spa!

rowing weddings. Everything went smoothly and we could not have asked for a better experience. We worked with Kelly Cassazza as our coordinator and she was absolutely incredible! She was very professional, and made the entire process so easy. She also did a great job at keeping us (mainly me) calm the whole weekend. We loved that this venue allows you to have your entire wedding experience on site! We had the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, first look, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, and morning after brunch all on the resort. The resort is also large enough that most of our events were in different locations, which we loved. Most of our guests also stayed on the resort and Woodloch offers transportation, which is extremely convenient. They also have catering, bar, staffing, and tables/chairs/linens/etc so we didn't have to work with a rental company for anything. We just brought the decor that we wanted to use, and they set everything up and broke it down. Woodloch's spa is separate from the main resort, but I would HIGHLY recommend. I got a massage the day before my wedding, and as a stressed out bride, it was extremely needed. Getting a massage there included using the facilities an hour before and after my appointment, and it was seriously incredible. I recommend booking in advance as they book up quick. All in all I would highly highly recommend this venue for a wedding. It was absolutely beautiful, everything ran perfectly, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We are so happy we chose Woodloch for our venue, and we can't wait to bring our future kids on vacation to the resort since it's a family-friendly resort.

y checked in to make sure everything was on track, offered us a lot of practical advice, and addressed all my questions to the best. In particular, she was able to calm me down when I was in anxiety occasionally. The resort itself is also great. We had an intimate wedding so the ceremony was held at Woodloch Pines Lakeside and the reception was on the Woodloch Springs side. Both were beautiful, and the Lakeside especially provided the best backdrop for the ceremony. The food was great - a lot of our guests commented that it was among the top food they had at weddings. Some of our guests stayed at the Woodloch Springs vacation houses - rooms were new and clean, and the various amenities at the resort easily gave guests a lot of fun. Definitely recommend!

not just a wedding but a weekend slumber party full of games and events that all our friends and family could enjoy. Cara was our wedding coordinator and she helped us make so many seemingly impossible things happen! Most importantly and impressive - Cara (and Woodloch) made it possible to have an entirely Gluten Free Wedding! As my husband has Celiac it was important to him that he not have to worry during his own wedding - whether or not something was gluten free, whether or not he'd accidentally get sick from cross contamination, etc. Not only did they make it possible but the food was DELICIOUS - and we got many compliments from our guests about how impressed there were with the quality and options available. Additionally Cara helped us plan not only the wedding but also private go carts & a welcome dinner for the night our guests arrived as well as a thank you breakfast and private trivia and karaoke for the day after the wedding. When our plans changed due to COVID and we moved the date from 2020 to 2021 Cara was very understanding and helped us reschedule all the events easily. When the weekend finally came our guests raved about the delicious food, amazing service, and how much fun they had not just at the wedding but at Woodloch all weekend long!

It will give you a great feel for the venue, allow you to get a real lay of the land, and allow you to know what your guests will experience on the big day. I cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Having it as Woodloch gave our guests and excuse for a group vacation they all really loved! LGBT Friendly!

She was so organized and responsive. She was by my husband and my side through everything beginning to end. I had no stress with planning my wedding because Amanda was there through it all. The wedding itself was not just one night. We were able to plan a whole weekend experience for everyone. All of our guests traveled (the closest person was 1.5 hours away) and the guesthouses provided a great place for everyone to gather and be together. Our wedding started Friday with the wedding party having a go-cart competition which was a great way to start the weekend for us!! After that, we were able to all meet at the clubhouse and get together for a couple drinks. While at the clubhouse Friday night, the owner even came up to myself and my husband to introduce himself and thank us for being there. It really meant a lot to us that he would take that time for us. Saturday morning (the day of the wedding) everyone was able to go and do their own thing. People went golfing, horseback riding, hiking, or anything they could think of. At the wedding everyone was just blown away by the venue. The food was better than I could have ever imagined, and the cake was probably the best cake I've ever had at a wedding, and it came with ice cream!!! I would highly recommend Woodloch to anyone that asks. My wedding was the best night of my life and I am so thankful to Amanda and the whole staff at Woodloch for making it a night I will always remember.

visiting Woodloch since the late 80s but my fiancé was only introduced to Woodloch when I suggested having our wedding there. After his first visit he was hooked! We met with Cara who is head of the Woodloch weddings team and she discussed all the possible wedding venues they have to offer. From the first meeting to our weddings end, Cara was extremely helpful in all things Woodloch related. From vendors, food, drinks, decorations, hotel and house bookings, she helped plan EVERYTHING and anything possible. Since we were planing from Long Island and not always able to meet in person Cara was always prompt with emails and always accommodating. Speaking of accommodating; Cara and the Woodloch team were able to accommodate every request we made. Here are a few that were included in our wedding weekend: Block of tables at night club for Horse races, Go carts, family feud, shuttle services, canoe bar, multiple BBQs and so much more! We can’t forget to mention the Woodloch hospitality. Anyone who has ever been to Woodloch knows that the Woodloch staff pride themselves on hospitality. But I can not explain what it felt like to be on the receiving end of this hospitality when you’re getting married at Woodloch! Every single staff member we encountered that weekend made our family and friends smile, laugh, and enjoy everything! Everyone was so excited for us as if they were getting married there (which we have come to learn that many staff members do get married at Woodloch :) which shows how wonderful it really is). Housing: our guests stayed 2 or 3 nights (Thursday to Sunday) in the Woodloch Springs Guest Homes. We pretty much took over The Springs and everyone was okay with that! We hosted 2 BBQs with music, dancing, s’mores and much more! This is where I need to thank Linda from catering. All I can say is WOW! Linda and her team were on top of all of our catering and BBQ needs! They set up early and stayed late to clean up after our crazy nights of partying. Each Springs home is perfect for family and friends to spread out and enjoy their stay. The venue: main room at the Inn. It was simply beautiful! It was supposed to rain the day of our wedding but somehow the Woodloch magic pulled though and the sun was shining. We started our ceremony on the lawn then moved into the downstairs for cocktail hour. After everyone headed upstairs to the main dining room. Cara was on top of every detail of the day and we were able to enjoy our time with friends and family without a worry in the world. I could go on forever about how perfect our weekend was! My husband and I wanted a wedding that was a vacation for our family and friends. There’s nothing better then a family vacation with 170 of your favorites. Our guests enjoyed using ALL of Woodlochs facilities from the pool to the lake, go carts to water skiing. I’ve never seen so many adults enjoy a water slide! It was truly a dreamy weekend!

Whether or not you are a guest at the resort or a guest at a wedding, you will always leave Woodloch feeling like you had THE BEST DAY EVER. It’s natural beauty and peacefulness makes you feel like you never want to leave. Having our ceremony down by the lakefront was breathtaking. Our pictures almost look fake! We will forever cherish the memories we made on our special day and Woodloch will forever hold a special place in our hearts. ­ I’m originally from the Boston area and my husband’s family is from Long Island, so both families have very high expectations for weddings. With our budget, we knew we needed an affordable, yet stunning wedding venue that would meet ours and our family’s expectations. Woodloch allowed us to have a GLAMOROUS and PERFECT wedding here in northeastern PA, for an affordable price. The staff was amazing! They worked so hard setting up the room exactly the way I asked. Cara and Amanda were the dream wedding team. Planning a large wedding can be extremely stressful, but Cara and Amanda were so willing and able to help solve all the problems that came up. They were so great that I rarely felt stressed. The day of our wedding was flawless. There were no issues (that I knew of) because we had the best wedding planners in the world. Not only are they extremely talented in what they do, but they are also wonderful people. Many of our guests raved about how kind and attentive they both were to everyone’s needs. After the planning is over you will wish they were your girl-friends so you could hang out all the time. The food exceeded our expectations! The kitchen and waitstaff did a phenomenal job. I had many guests with diet restrictions and allergies and the staff made it a point to speak with those guests directly to make them feel safe with their meal choices. We still have friends and family telling us “the food at your wedding was the best food we’ve ever had at any wedding!” That means a lot considering most of them are from big cities! We owe a huge thank you to the bakery for not only making us a stunning wedding cake but making us TWO! The gold foil I purchased barely covered the cake and did not come out the way I wanted so the bakery baked an entirely new cake. The cake ended up being more beautiful than I had imagined or planned. We were so touched by their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. All of our guests that stayed in guest homes said they had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return one day. On top of it all, the bride and groom get to spend a night for free, which was a really nice touch. We are so glad we made the decision to have our wedding at Woodloch and would not change one thing about our entire experience. If you are considering Woodloch as your wedding venue, let me help you out…. DO IT! You won’t regret it and you will be so thankful you chose such a magical place!

From DAY ONE (circa Oct 2017) to our wedding on 9/7/2019, Woodloch was truly an all-in-one package.  This review won't even get to cover all of the incredible attention to details, the beautiful property and the overly friendly and accommodating staff and service.  Not to mention chef Debbie did a PHENOMINAL job on all of the food, wedding cake and desserts - absolutely stunning work, and delicious!!  We were so lucky and honored to have our wedding at the inn on property.   Cara is such a hard-working professional and a total sweetheart, fully dedicated to making sure that you and your future significant other have everything you need for your special day.  Even though my wedding wasn't until 2019, I never felt like I was put on the back burner - every single question (and there were a TON of those lol) was answered within 24 hours, most of the time not even an hour would pass by! People always say you won't sleep much the night before, but I certainly did because I knew that everything would go smoothly. I had so much faith in Cara by that time, and I didn't worry about a thing!  Okay...maybe not a completely rested night's sleep, I WAS still nervous for my own wedding lol   Overall, Woodloch could not have selected a better coordinator than Cara as the primary face of Woodloch's weddings. I can't say enough on how helpful they were throughout the entire process.  We absolutely love Woodloch and immediately decided to return next year to celebrate our 1-year anniversary.  THANK YOU WOODLOCH, you made our vision a reality and a dream come true <3

out the entire planning process. She had just gotten married at Woodloch Pines herself, and to us that said a lot. We had our 130 guests make a vacation out of our wedding weekend and now all anyone can talk about is planning something for the same weekend in 2020. There were so many little details that Woodloch handled perfectly. Thursday - Rehearsal dinner at the Springs Vista Terrace that had a beautiful view and delicious food. The bartenders were also fantastic and made the best drinks. Friday - The Wedding! Got ready in the beautiful Springs houses (blew a fuse with blowdryers, Woodloch fixed that in 5 minutes). Shuttles took us to the Mill for our first look & pictures. The ceremony was outside on the lake and could not have been more beautiful. Cocktail hour was amazing and guests are still raving about the mashed potato bar we had. The wedding reception itself ran smoothly...Woodloch's bakery custom made us a beautiful rainbow cake to celebrate our love and pride weekend! Saturday - Breakfast at the Vista Terrace and then all of our wonderful wedding guests, in their fancy wedding t-shirts, got to use all of Woodloch's amazing amenities. People still can't get over how amazing Woodloch is and many plan to go back very soon. Guests then met back up for a delicious dinner at the Vista Terrace again. During this dinner we plugged in a phone and had a dance party (pretty much a wedding 2.0). The staff quickly moved all the tables to the side so we could have a dance floor. We were quite the fun bunch! Sunday - Another breakfast at the Vista Terrace for our guests. The staff could not have been more helpful and wonderful. This weekend was definitely one to remember. Many guests said it was the best wedding they have ever attended and it will forever be hard to top such a wonderful weekend. This wedding wasn't 5 hours where the brides are stressed and don't really get to spend any quality time with their guests, but one that everyone gained lasting memories for the rest of their life. If you are thinking destination wedding, do not look anywhere else. Yes it was expensive for guests to attend (accommodations), but they all made it into a vacation and loved every second of it. Of 157 guests invited, 130 came and made memories of a lifetime.

The food was excellent and well received by all our guests and the settings were beautiful both indoors as well as outdoors.

Our guests also raved about the phenomenal service and food. If you are looking for a weekend destination wedding in the mountains, this venue is the right choice for you. And the price point may not be as steep as you'd expect for everything you are getting. Highly recommend.

a she was cool, calm and collected and put me at ease. I didn't know where to start but she helped me the whole way through. Anytime I had a question she responded through email immediately. I had so many personal problems with this wedding but she helped anyway she could! Then came the big day and you got to see her really shine! She made sure everything just ran like a well oiled machine. She was there for me for whatever I needed whether it be calming me down, getting whatever I wanted or making sure I was happy she handled it all. The biggest thing was when no one could remember how to bustle my dress. I was in a panic almost in tears in the locker room but in came Cara and she figured it out! Talk about saving the day, she saved my wedding day! I honestly would of been lost without her! She is a MAJOR asset to Woodloch and regardless of how beautiful the place is, how great the food is or how perfect my wedding was, I couldn't of seen that day being as amazing as it was if Cara was not a part of it!

he Inn at Woodloch. Amanda, our wedding coordinator, was the absolute best! She was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the event, she made sure everything ran smoothly. The staff at Woodloch was very friendly and the service was excellent. The cocktail hour and reception food was delicious, and the in-house wedding cake got great reviews! Our friends and family stayed in the guest houses at Woodloch Springs. This was a great way to see everyone and we were able to hold a few additional events at the guest houses, including a welcome BBQ the day before the wedding, a wedding day fun run, an after party bonfire complete with s’mores, and breakfast the day after the wedding. Although the house placements took extra effort with shifting house availability, it ultimately turned out well and we loved having everyone stay in the same area. We chose to use The Lodge at Woodloch for hair/makeup and that was an excellent decision. The team of stylists came right to the houses the morning of the wedding to help the ladies get ready. Our other vendors included Michael’s House of Flowers (florals), Evans Entertainment (DJ), and Miana Jun Photo (photographer). We are really happy with our decision to celebrate our marriage at Woodloch and look forward to coming back for future anniversaries and celebrations!

d family which we did a month later. She could not think of a better place than the Woodloch Resort for her wedding ceremony. Kaitlin remembers the Woodloch Resort when we took her and her older brother there for several years in a row when they were young. This 4 day event exceeded our expectations. There were 60 people here over the weekend. Several of us stayed at the Lodge at Woodloch which is an experience in itself, and the others rented houses at Woodloch Springs, their golf resort which is across the street from the Lodge. My daughter worked with Cara for a year and every email was answered quickly, every detail on everyone's lodging, all food concerns, everything - was taken care of. They took care of transportation from the Lodge and the Springs to the lakeside at the main Woodloch Resort for the ceremony and back to the Springs where we had the dinner reception. Food was great, the music we had was terrific and no detail was left to chance. I cannot tell you how wonderful our 4 night experience was at the Lodge at Woodloch. The food, the room, the ambiance, the spa treatments - wow! My husband and I can't wait to go back. Cara took care of every detail the day of the ceremony and everything went off without a hitch. She was there for our entire reception making sure everything was running smoothly. You also have to have a rain contingency plan put into place which we did, but we were all thrilled that the day was gorgeous! Please don't hesitate to consider or use the Woodloch Resort! It was perfect!

decided to get married in a church and went to the Inn for our reception. We had 180 guests and it was the perfect fit. We used MCR productions and Michaels house of flowers for our decor and between them both our reception looked like something out of a dream. Our wedding. Coordinators did a perfect job of setting everything up, we didn’t have to worry about a thing!!! UUU band provided fantastic entertainment for my guests to dance the night away and Kindred souls photography captured every moment of the night. The Woodloch staff was outstanding. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the service! They couldn’t get over the fact that they didn’t have to go up to the bar to get a drink! We chose to have a sit down reception and the food was absolutely delicious! The staff even wrapped food up for us at the end of the night which was a nice treat seeing how it’s almost impossible to eat! We even got to have some of the flat breads from our late night flat bread station. Both of our families are from out of state so most of our guests traveled and stayed in the guest homes. Everyone raved about the accommodations and enjoyed their time on the resort. It was such a great feeling having everyone together and being able to hop from house to house to say hi. We ended the weekend with a farewell brunch which was a perfect and delicious way to say goodbye to an amazing weekend! Thank you to everyone at woodloch for the best experience of our lives!!!!

Our wedding was a marriage of two very different cultures and Woodloch made us feel at home. I don't recall getting "no" as an answer to any of our requests. -Amanda is an amazing wedding coordinator. Though she is the "day of" coordinator, she really is involved from the day you chose to get married at woodloch. -Their food is out of this world. We got the buffet with seafood and premium drink package. When you compare prices to other venues, you'll also be surprised at the affordability (relatively, of course :) ) -For our bbq, they also went out of their way to set things up and take it down. The bbq is a cool feature - everyone lives in guest houses in a cul-de-sac(s). You do not have to cater through them (which we didn't) but they provide (for a small fee) set up and take down services, along with virtually whatever you want. -Our guests really enjoyed the resort and the activities that they offered. They also enjoyed spending time together in the housing section. These were added bonuses to the wedding itself. -The travel to the resort is difficult, but if you're from the area, have guests coming from all over (wherever you get married, people have to travel), or are planning a destination wedding, it's a moot point. Furthermore, due to everything Woodloch offers, including hospitality and services, it's more than worth it. -Though this is something I didn't look for (or didn't know to look for), our DJs music sounded incredible due to the acoustics at The Inn at Woodloch (name of the venue across the lake). -You will save money on decor for the venue - it already looks very elegant with a beautiful view of the lake, nice chandeliers, and a lavish feel. All in all, I hands down recommend this Woodloch.

She really helped make everything seem so easy! The food was also exceptional. Hors d'oeuvres, entrees, wedding cake, cocktails. Every single thing was so good. So many of our guests have been raving to us about it ever since! Our guests stayed at guest homes at the Springs property and everyone loved their accommodations. They were beautiful homes and very clean! Honestly, Woodloch just knows how to do it and how to do it right. There is really no other way to put it. Our guests loved that they could use the facilities and all of the activities on property. Most of our guests stayed there the entire weekend and had such a good time! I truly feel like I could go on for days about how great everything was. If we were to do it all over again we would not do one single thing differently! Thank you Woodloch & Amanda!

Everything is taken care of from the wedding coordinator, dinner, drinks, the wedding cake, cocktail hour, beautiful ceremony area by the lake, and service. They even provided me with a list of vendors that I chose from and couldn't be happier with every single one of them. Cost is very reasonable with all that you get! We made our wedding a weekend event. Welcome dinner for the guest on the golf course, "That's Entertainment Game" just for our guest at the resort, the wedding and after party, and the farewell breakfast the next morning. My family and friends still talk about how it was the best wedding they ever attended. Some of the guest even turned into a vacation of their own. Tons for everyone to do for both families and couples. The guest houses near the golf course where everyone could stay near each other were great! We also got a shuttle to transfer ourselves and guest to and from the wedding/after party so no one had to worry about driving! For the brides, the Lodge at Woodloch glam squad is all you need. They came right to our house for hair and make-up! They did an amazing job with myself and the whole bridal party. Everyone loved their looks! The ceremony site by the lake is a must! It is breathtaking! The cocktail hour on the deck makes for a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. Even the reception area overlooks the lake right in time for sunset. I am constantly telling people near and far from Woodloch that this is truly the best place to get married. I always tell people I had my dream wedding, with my dream man, at my DREAM LOCATION. It is a day that I will remember for a lifetime, and I truly have Woodloch to thank for making my dreams come true!

They take care of every detail for you and it was so nice to not have to deal with so many outside vendors since they do in-house catering and cakes. Our cocktail hour on the lake was perfect and our pictures by the lake were even better. My guests raved about the experience and I can't say enough good things about Woodloch and my perfect Woodloch wedding!!

From the early planning stages to the day-of, she paid attention to detail, responded quickly, and was so poised - she made our day completely stress-free. The accommodations for our guests were seamless. Many commented on how happy and impressed they were with the overall experience. azing staff. From the wait staff and bartenders, to the shuttle drivers, everyone went above and beyond to make sure our guests and ourselves had an amazing time. Our wedding coordinator was Amanda, words cannot describe how amazing she is. From day one we knew we were in good hands. Amanda was there through it all to offer advice and make all of our visions a reality. Woodloch is a one of a kind wedding venue and we could not be happier.

was wonderful! She made sure that I had everything I needed. She was there to answer all of my questions at any time. She made us feel comfortable and prepared, whether she provided advise when asked or timely responses to the many questions we had. The venue is gorgeous at any time of the year! I visited multiple times before getting married and the view by the lake is perfect for a wedding ceremony! My family and friends who joined us at our wedding had nothing but great things to say about the Woodloch, with both the venue itself and the staff. After getting married here, I would definitely recommend the Woodloch to anyone looking to get married and will be back up for many more visits with my new husband and family!
