Woodside Event Center at St. Michael's
Woodside Event Center is truly an underrated wedding venue. My husband and I had our reception here last month and we could not be more pleased with our experience. Marge was attentive, responsive, and helpful throughout the 9 month process. We were offered a complimentary meal tasting and met several times to review details. We loved how the venue was all-inclusive with food and alcohol included, and the food was excellent. We highly recommend!

The Woodside Event Center at St. Michael's was renovated in 2015 and is well equipped for different milestone events. Inside, the main banquet hall boasts more than 6,500 square feet of flexible space and can comfortably accommodate 400 people. We were able to fully realize our perfect reception thanks to her and the staff at Woodside. They worked effortlessly throughout the night to ensure a great party that all of our guests loved. The bar was amazing. The food was complemented by everyone, and was so good, I'd go back just for a meal. We highly recommend the Late Night Pretzel bar as well. It came out at the best time during the evening, causing people to stay a little longer, and lead to the best night ever. 1000/10, would highly recommend.

our original vision as possible. Marge was absolutely wonderful to work with and truly helped us through every change we had to make as new rules and regulations were released. If you are looking for a venue that does damn near EVERYTHING, WEC is the venue for you! The main ballroom is absolutely beautiful, the food is TO DIE FOR, and all set up and tear down is done for you so you won't have to worry about packing up centerpieces at the end of the night! We cannot rave about WEC enough, and definitely recommend them to all brides!

We knew when we walked into Woodside and met with Marge and Mary Jane back in 2017 that this would be where we have our reception, and we signed the deposit within the first half-hour of being there. Throughout the year and a half of planning, Woodside was available for every question we had leading up to our big day. The team helped us find a decorator that they work with extensively, and they helped us with every detail from napkin color to tablecloth color to uplighting and DJ location.
When I walked in after the ceremony, I remember thinking "oh wow, this is what I had dreams of creating." By the end of the night, we had 14 or 15 couples come up to us and not only rave about the food, but we heard words like "This is the best wedding I have ever been to," and "I haven't ever tasted beef this good," and "this is the party of the century, you guys did a great job!"
Without going into immense details, we had 250 people, a DJ, cake cutting, and our ceremony was local. We had a 6 hour reception in July 2019 and we had a completely phenomenal day. Jeff, Marge and Mary Jane are dreams come true, and we wanted to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for making our day absolutely perfect. Everything was perfect. I would rival our reception against those who spent 2, 3 or even 10 times as much as we did. Thank you so much Woodside, you made our dream a reality.

to the wedding, we were invited to try the food at an event and the chef sat down with us to explain some of the other dishes offered and make suggestions based on serving style. He also offered to make items that were not included on the list for a small premium. I would recommend this hall to any bride. The only issue we had was with some confusion related to different office personnel, but Mary Jane was able to fix it in a timely manner.
