Wright's Mill Farm

Hiring Wrights Mill Farm was probably the BEST decision when it came to the planning & execution of our day.Integral details: we had a late April wedding, with a 120 guest list. We signed on w. WMF almost a year prior. #1 Most Important Reason to Hire WMF: the people. During our shopping process, we saw many beautiful spaces, but no one made us feel as confident as the WMF Coordinator, Bri. She knew the venue & it's crew inside & out, and her approach w. us was the perfect balance of, "I care about YOUR vision, we can do whatever YOU want to do. Just tell me" which created an environment of open communication from the get-go. Shout out to owner, Curt, who was also a constant helpful presence. Bri is main contact but if Curt knows the answer to a Q, he wont keep your email waiting. Beyond Bri we had the honor of working with Mark & Pat from UpBeat DJ (LOVE THEM!!), Mark even touched base the evening prior via quick phone call, which meant a lot. We heard the bartenders were lovely, but as the brides we never had to get our own drinks. Main-Waitress-in-Charge Cheryl, was with us the entire day for drink/food needs! When dinner was served she playfully kicked guests away from our sweetheart table so we had a moment to eat, her cheeky nature & quick wit helped ease the flow of our day. Along with ALL OF THE STAFF. Anyone can have a venue space and host an event, but professionals know how to do this well and make it appear effortless--that is the level of service you will receive if you choose to host your wedding at WMF. The Physical Venue: the lodge is pristine. Although we don't consider ourselves barn/farm ppl, the lodge is modern, inviting, clean and SPACIOUS. We loved the front lobby area and used that space to set the tone as guests arrived. There was no concern of cramped tables or headcount limits. The bathrooms were both massive & had handicap stalls (important), in addition to the private stall in the Bridal Suite. The Grounds: we specifically were looking for a venue that had an outdoor ceremony space that felt intentional & intimate: aka the waterfall ceremony spot at WMF. Newly-renovated it has sturdy, secure benches and overflow seating. A simplistic arbor setting the stage and a secret path in the back for the Brides/bridal party to discreetly arrive. The Bridal Suite: we did not separate into 2 groups the morning of, and instead wanted to all get ready together (guys & girls) in a relaxed, chill environment, which is exactly what the space provided. Men changed in the regular men's room, but everything else happened all in that space! The Food: FANTASTIC! We were stressed about lack of tasting, something that was offered at other venues, but trusted the reviews we saw online for WMF that were encouraging and it paid off. Food was served plentifully, piping hot and always tasty. We added a "midnight" snack for the dance floor of mini sliders and provided mini diet coke bottles to be served in ice buckets: huge hit. When the food flops at a wedding, nothing else matters. Rest assured WMF will not let you down on flavor & precision. I do not say lightly, that our friends & family are still gushing over OUR WEDDING DAY. And amongst all the flashy, usual things they could compliment: our flowers, the vows, our outfits-- WMF and the staff who run it are always at the top of the list. "Those people know what they're doing"- every old person at our wedding.

Wrights Mill Farm is the place to get married if you want a beautiful venue , rustic and modern, grounds & scenery that will blow you away & staff who are fun, efficient, trustworthy, warm, knowledgeable , helpful & welcoming! Curt & Bri are with you from start to finish , they made planning flawless . They meet with you many times, are so fast to respond , and set up everything the night & morning of your wedding perfectly . With just a couple of bumps in the road Curt gave flexibility and options and nothing but kindness through it all ❤️ one word I keep describing about our wedding day (yesterday) is seamless ! Though bri helped plan , she wasn’t able to be at our wedding , but Chrissy & Cheryl made sure everything was perfect. And it was! I don’t think I ever got down to half a glass of champagne without Cheryl bringing me and my fiancé fresh drinks . Not only does Cheryl care for the bride & groom, but she also keeps up with both partners parents which is equally important and special! We also can’t talk enough about not only the wonderful service , but the food was so.good. And Curt was SO accommodating !! I have a list of about 12 or so allergies .. they made everything free of these and the plates were still so delicious . They were also generous enough to give us leftovers to enjoy the next day 😄 and seriously…order the tortellini 🤤 it’s to die for. We got married at Wright's Mill Farm on 11/04/2023! We booked our wedding date in July of 2021 after only visiting one other venue we knew immediately Wright's Mill Farm was the perfect fit for us. With over 800 days of waiting and planning I can 1000% say that it was SO worth it! Every single aspect of wedding planning was seamless thanks to the amazingly talented staff at Wright's. From the very first visit, to the many, many emails that were always answered quickly and effectively by Bri & Curt, to meetings, the rehearsal, the big day and even a follow up phone call the day after- everything truly was perfect. Many people think their wedding day is perfect, but it was reciprocated by the overwhelming amount of compliments from family and friends about the venue, the very friendly and attentive staff, the food, the music- shoutout to Mark Sullivan & UpBeatDJ for keeping the vibes going and the dance floor full right up until the end! We even had one guest tell us she wants her daughter (who is currently 16) to get married there one day! We are officially one month married and are still obsessing over our experience at Wright's Mill Farm. The attention to detail and the effort put in by all the staff truly made us feel so special. We wish we could relive that day over and over again! We highly recommend Wright's to literally everyone and anyone who is getting married! Our wedding at Wrights Mill Farm was an absolute dream. The second we stepped onto the property, we felt like family. Brie and Curt were amazing during the whole wedding process - they were responsive, timely and always so excited for us. The staff on the day of the wedding was unmatched - not only did they make sure that my husband and I had everything we needed at all times but they were so attentive to our guests and families, making everyone feel right at home. They were even dancing and having fun with the guests. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the food was phenomenal - all of our guests were raving about it. Most importantly, everyone at Wrights Mill Farm went above and beyond to make sure we had our dream wedding day and we are forever grateful. If you are considering Wrights Mill Farm, BOOK IT! We will never get over how perfect our day was thanks to the amazing people that work there. Thank you Wrights Mill Farm - you are truly the best of the best!!!

I am so grateful for the team at Wrights Mill--our wedding day was one of the best days of my life (I'm still riding that joy wave nearly a month later). I can't thank Bri and Curt at Wrights enough for all of the clear communication and planning leading up to the wedding, the hospitality they provided, and how stress-free they made the entire day. We picked this venue because of the ceremony site and the beautiful new barn space--I was hoping for a woodland wedding and one visit to the waterfall area sold me. I didn't bother checking out any other venues. I knew Wrights was the one! It turns out that not only was the venue incredible and exactly what I hoped for, but the staff there and the service was even better than I had hoped. The food was delicious (perfectly cooked and beautifully presented), the entire team was warm and kind, and we felt so taken care of the whole night. We decided to get the horse drawn wagon (shout out to Doc and Shorty--two of the most beautiful horses I've ever met!) and our guests really enjoyed taking that down and back to the ceremony site. The couple who manned the wagon were so kind and accommodating as well! Honestly the team at Wrights made it all so easy. I truly enjoyed my wedding, danced the night away, and didn't stress at all thanks to them. It was a beautiful, original venue with beautiful, incredibly kind people.
