Wrightsville Manor is an absolute dream of a location and we knew immediately it was our place. Actually, it was our first and last wedding venue tour because it has everything a couple could want plus all the beautiful touches are just unmatched! We can’t say enough about the kindness and professionalism of the owner and staff. Especially Erin, she was amazing and so quick to help us from beginning to end. The venue itself is simply gorgeous and we didn’t have a vendor who didn’t already have so much love for this gem. Our family and friends continue to rave about it still. The amenities on-site, the lawn (no grass stains was incredible for those with littles!), the lights, etc. It was magic! We can’t recommend this venue enough. Thank you for an experience we will always treasure 🤍

Seriously the most beautiful wedding venue in Wilmington. We instantly new we had to have our wedding at the Manor after one visit. The gardens are beautiful. The inside is bright and beautiful. Wrightsville manor was beautiful on our wedding day. The team at the manor had the place looking tidy and clean and ready for a wedding. Erin and Chrissy were very responsive to any questions I had. The bar service went very smoothly and it seemed like everyone was served quickly!

Wrightsville Manor was amazing. Everyone that has ever heard of Wrightsville Manor told us it was such a pretty venue and it really is! The gardens are incredible, it feels so quiet and like it’s own little world. I am so proud to have had my wedding here. On the day of, the electrical to the tree lights did not work so the owner of the venue bought greenery the day of to decorate the swing and make it perfect for us. It was beautiful. Picking the venue was the easiest decision for us throughout the whole process. Nothing else even came close to being as beautiful as wrightsville manor.

Wirghtsville Manor was the perfect place to host our wedding. They amde it easy to plan even being out of town, replied promptly and worked great with the rest of our vendors. The venue itself is beautiful, bright, and neutral enough to match any decor or mood. I had guests saying how fancy, elegant and bougie the wedding felt!

It has so much space, super new and clean, bridal suite is clutch! The style of the space has so much room to be creative and make it what you want but still looks great without a lot of extras so it can fit all budgets! The outside grounds are amazing! Lots of greenery, the lawn/ grass is high class, the trees are awesome! Have ceremony in or out so no issues with rain. Cocktail hour outside was so lovely. Erin and staff are super helpful, nice and accommodating! THANK YOU LOVED IT!

Honestly, this is the best wedding venue I've ever been to and I am so happy that I was able to enjoy it's perfection for my wedding day. Planning and coordinating our wedding day with staff was easy with quick and polite responses and our wedding day was absolutely seamless. I can't thank Wrightsville Manor enough for hosting us for our perfect day!

Wrightsville Manor started a as dream and ended as a nightmare. They do not support covid cancellations despite their laid back attitude. If you care about your deposit money do not give it to them. They initially agreed to our postponement plans. Then 2 months later contacted us asking about our alcohol packages. When I reminded them we postponed, they told me they thought we were kidding and would have to pay an entire new deposit to postpone. They told covid is not a concern and I was ridiculous for cancelling my wedding. If you got married May 1, 2021 just know they got paid double that night. STAY AWAY!!!!

Wrightsville Manor is the best! Everything about the property is so meticulously designed and beautiful. The combination of outdoor and indoor space is a huge plus.

Wow, Wrightsville Manor is the BEST! My husband and I just got married there, and would do it all over again if we could. The space is so beautiful, and the team is so easy to work with, we enjoyed everything minute of it. Most importantly, they clearly have great relationships in the Wilmington area with all of the vendors, and they work so seamlessly together that it took a huge load of stress off of our plate - we weren't worried at all on our wedding day because we knew everything was taken care of. We got so many compliments on our wedding, and people couldn't believe we found such a gem of a venue. Our guests are still staying it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended - we can't thank Wrightsville Manor enough for making our special day better than we could have ever imagined!

Honestly... there's no other venues better than Wrightsville Manor. Stop looking. Wrightsville Manor will exceed all your expectations and then some that you didn't even think you had. From the very beginning at the open house in Feb 2020, I was blown away. A few weeks later, we were ready to pull the trigger on a date in May because it beat out our second top venue choice. My top pick for a date was already booked from the list they gave me. I was crushed. Then, by a miracle, Erin (who is a legit angel put on earth to deal with all the crazy and I guess if you're special, non-crazy brides), emailed me that the date was back open. IT WAS ON.. it was finally happening. Email after email, Erin was on top of it. She was timely with responses, professional, fun, laughed at my stupid gifs, and put my psychotic mind at ease when the world ended and hit their industry hard with covid. Things were so up in the air but she never waivered with her stance that this wedding was going to happen. She and Kayla were so welcoming each time we took a trip out there to walk the grounds and get more ideas and take pictures for our invitation suites. Seriously, this place is such a gorgeous gem that we wanted to incorporate our favorite spots in the garden as a tease for our guests. The Bridal Suite wasn't used for us to get ready as I had 9 bridesmaids, but it was an awesome and much needed spot to cool down after taking pre and post wedding pictures, an escape to get a minute with my love and of course one last practice of our first dance. Wrightsville Manor also supplies you with an amazing list of vendors to work with. And let me tell you, this coastal community of vendors is beyond top notch and ensures your wedding day will truly be your BEST DAY EVER even on (what can feel like) dooms day post-pandemic. Our wedding was truly an amazing experience from start to finish and it wouldn't have been possible without Wrightsville Manor and the fan-freaking-tastic team they have running it. I am so so thankful to have made the best choice for our best day. Thank you forever WM

The BEST people to work with!!! Seriously so helpful and the most stunning venue ever. Erin and her team were always so quick to answer any questions I had and were such a joy to work with on my wedding day. I’ve always said this venue is so beautiful on its own it doesn’t need a lot of extra decor which I loved! Our guest kept saying it was the most beautiful venue they had been to! Such great people to work with and the most beautiful venue!

My daughter wanted a unique venue that could provide a "Rustic Italian, yet Tropical" feel for her wedding. We discovered Wrightsville Manor and it was the PERFECT choice! Chrissy and Erin were WONDERFUL to work with....extremely professional, very responsive, and were so eager to do everything possible to help make her wedding exactly what she had dreamed of. The venue itself is truly breathtaking and our guests described it as, "one of the most beautiful wedding venues they've ever seen". We literally can't say enough about this venue choice. The Wrightsville Manor building and grounds are truly like something in a fairy tale - and made our daughter's wedding an absolute dream come true. We couldn't be happier!!!

Wrightsville Manor is absolutely breathtaking. If you’re looking for a venue, look no further! I fell in love with this venue the second I saw it online. Every inch of this venue is so beautifully and delicately designed, including the expansive outdoor space. The venue alone is perfect, but it wouldn’t be what it is without it’s incredible staff. I really can’t say enough positive things about Erin, the venue director. She was incredibly helpful right from the start, even providing me with a list of recommended vendors for every wedding detail. She responded to every little question I had almost immediately and with delight. She made me feel at ease at a time when I thought my wedding would be canceled. My ceremony was originally meant to take place outside with the reception inside. However, due to coronavirus I was forced to make other plans. I will be forever grateful that we had to move outside! In the midst of this messy pandemic, a truly magical wedding was born. The venue was so gracious and generous when it came to helping me replan my wedding. I will always be grateful for their help and generosity. Thank you so much Wrightsville Manor for giving me the perfect wedding!

Wrightsville Manor is absolutely beautiful! We loved the venue for it's modern feel and the Spanish Moss trees. Erin and the owners were amazing and extremely responsive - especially with Covid 19 happening. They were accommodating and wonderful. We really enjoyed having our wedding here and would recommend!

The most beautiful reception venue I’ve been to. The owner of Wrightsville Manor was a delight to deal with. Very knowledgeable and helpful during a difficult and challenging time of planning a wedding during a global pandemic. This venue was a last minute plan. Our original venue backed out less than a month before the wedding. Our wedding planner was able to secure this most beautiful reception site as a substitute and now I can’t imagine having my daughter’s reception anywhere else. The two vast lawns were perfect size for our reduced wedding to socially distant themselves and yet still experience a beautiful and most importantly, safe wedding reception.

My fiancée and I had paid for a wedding at Wrightsville Manor for July 2020. When the COVID-19 pandemic escalated and things were getting very grim and uncertain, we went to Erin St. Ledger Lea (the venue director) and eventually Chrissy Sweyer (the owner), hoping to postpone our wedding to July 2021. We thought we were being proactive and respectful by reaching out in April 2020. After a month of pleading and nearly begging, it was clear Wrightsville Manor could care less about the safety and concerns of their guests. They would only ever give us two options: voluntarily cancel and forfeit all the money we had already paid, or wait until they would let us postpone which they could never give us a definitive date for. Ms Sweyer at one point commented “sometime in the middle of June”. How can you properly postpone a wedding 3 weeks away? How do you be respectful when telling your family and friends so they can make plans? How do you coordinate with all the vendors? We asked Ms Sweyer these questions hoping to reach an agreement but she never replied back to them. In the end our hands we tied and we were forced to cancel just before the remaining payments and bar package were due. We never heard back from them with a formal cancellation or response. Later on, I saw the NC Attorney General Josh Stein wanted to hear from consumers having issues with businesses during the pandemic and when I made a complaint, Wrightsville Manor hired a lawyer to respond on their behalf who actually threatened us: “In fact, Wrightsville Manor could bring their own action for breach of contract under the Services Agreement against the complainants”. This shows how truly callous Wrightsville Manor and their staff are. There are far nicer places in Wilmington for a wedding venue, places which have history to them and aren’t simply designed for weddings and only weddings, some of which have owners who are actually in the love business, unlike the staff at Wrightsville Manor.

Erin, Chrissy and Peter were a joy to work with and Wrightsville Manor is absolutely stunning. We loved having our wedding reception there! The outdoor gardens and the inside space is breathtaking and our wedding was everything we hoped it would be there. The WM staff was so helpful and answered our questions promptly and were flexible if we had any issues that came up during planning. Definitely would recommend them to other brides and grooms! Such a gorgeous venue full of natural beauty and the perfect canvas to paint any brides dream. The staff was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns with the utmost professionalism. Truly a stunning location! Although our wedding day ended up being the fairytale dream we had always hoped for there was an unexpected change in plans. Due to a seasonal hurricane we had to postpone our wedding day. Wrightsville Manor was extremely responsive in the wake of the storm, patient while we made our decision and supportive through the whole process. The venue was able to reschedule our big day ONLY two weeks later and on a weekend! Postponing a wedding seems like a nightmare but with the support of the Wrightsville Manor team everything was handled smoothly and professionally. It was the perfect weekend!

Wrightsville Manor was everything we could have imagined and more. They have been easy to get in touch with since the very beginning. Erin always responded to my emails ASAP and always found the answers to my questions. The venue itself is so beautiful that we saved money with decorations because it honestly didn't need them. We loved having the bridal suite and being able to be on site all day. It made everything so accessible. I can't say enough about this place. Not to mention the bottle of champagne they gifted us at the end of the night. Highly recommend!

The most amazing venue. Wrightsville Manor is beautiful!! It is the perfect venue. It has perfect indoor and outdoor options. The venue is so convenient and flows so nicely. I loved having our ceremony outside followed by cocktail hour right next to it and then the reception right inside. All of our guests raved about it and said it was the best venue they've ever been to. Wrightsville manor was extremely accommodating. Erin was amazing to work with throughout our entire planning process and was always there to answer our questions. The bartenders were AMAZING throughout the night and very respectful and accommodating. We can't say enough about this perfect venue and we highly recommend it!!!

I would recommend this venue every time for everyyyy single bride! I toured all the venues in town and lastly came across Wrightsville Manor recommended by a friend. It was the only well-balanced venue that once I saw it I knew that it was the place for our wedding day. There honestly is not one bad thing I can say about this venue, the location, and the staff! Erin always went above and beyond to explain, reach out, and answer allll of my annoying questions so promptly. It is the most gorgeous and elegant venue. Most of our guests were from our hometowns in South Dakota and Pennsylvania and let me tell you there is no venue like this back home! Everyone was constantly complimenting how gorgeous the venue was and even some of our family friends looking to start a venue like it back home. It was also convenient how close to Wrightsville Beach was to the venue because it gave the guests a little beach feel. Then the venue itself was secluded and makes you feel that there is nothing but your friends and family around. They recently put in fake grass in the outdoor space and that just added an extra perfect touch (Erin is beyond helpful and adorable and was even out there fluffing the grass with a machine early that morning so the grass looked perfect). The bridal sweet is great for pictures and the best space to get hair and makeup done and a place to put belongings throughout the night! All of the local vendors I was working with would ask the location of my venue and the second I would say Wrightsville Manor they would all be relieved and say how they're amazing and easy to work with and everything always turns out beyond amazing there. Huge thank you especially to Erin who was in contact with me through the whole process from day 1. Your energy and positive vibes illuminate and helped reassure me that I was in great hands at this venue.

STUNNING! It's really the only word to describe this venue. Just absolutely stunning. We got married in June but this venue must be gorgeous any month of the year. From The Tree, greenery, landscaping and lights outside to the huge beautiful blank space inside that you have to work with. Words just can't describe how fairy tale-esque Wrightsville Manor is. Not to mention, the incredible staff who are extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. If you're still searching for THE perfect venue, look no further!

From the first moment we walked into Wrightsville Manor to visit it as a possible wedding venue for my daughter's wedding, we knew this place was something so special! We cancelled our other venue appointments for that day and booked right then! This past weekend was my daughter's wedding and Wrightsville Manor was transformed into the place of her dreams! First off Erin was INCREDIBLE to deal with! Any question we had was answered almost immediately. Even when going through Hurricane Florence, dealing with an evaluation and limited wifi, Erin was still there to answer our questions in a timely manner! We felt that we were cared about in every step of the planning at Wrightsville Manor! The venue itself is stunning! Beautiful grounds that are impeccably maintained made for a gorgeous outdoor wedding and cocktail hour! At night those same grounds transformed into a sparkling beautifully lit backdrop for pictures. The indoors is spectacular in its own right with huge windows and beautiful drapery. The tables and chiavari chairs were even included in the rental! The incredible bar and dramatic fireplace were focal points that just made the room look even more fabulous! I really can't say enough....except that we can't wait to get the pictures back from a wedding that was so phenomenal! Thank you Erin and Wrightsville Manor for everything!!!

Having my wedding at Wrightsville Manor was honestly a dream. This venue is everything you could imagine and more. I am not from Wilmington so almost all of our guests were from out of town and they have not stopped talking about how amazing the venue was. Truly, this venue is one of a kind. Even without decorations or flowers, it is so beautiful with it's chandeliers, white ceiling draping, brick fireplace, huge windows with perfect natural light, and gorgeous bar. Erin has been my main contact that I've worked with and she has made the process so seamless and makes you so excited about the day. She answered every question I've had so promptly and is always so positive and uplifting. I've so enjoyed working with her. Originally I was going to have my ceremony outside by the live oak tree and the reception inside; however, on the day of my wedding it poured rain so hard all day long. Luckily I did not have to stress at all because the inside of Wrightsville Manor is so stunning, everyone assumed I was planning on having it inside all along. Everything ran so smoothly and the bridal suite is so perfect for getting ready. The venue just makes you happy. Erin and the Wrightsville Manor team are amazing! I had my wedding at Wrightsville Manor on Sunday May 27, 2018. From planning my wedding a year before Erin and the team at Wrightsville Manor were professional and answered any questions I had. I live in Maryland and planning my wedding for afar made me a little nervous, however my nerves were put aside because the team at Wrightsville Manor were on top of everything. The day of my wedding Ms. Emily introduce herself to me and ensure my day would go great and it did! Any bride who is looking for an outside ceremony site this venue is it! We had our ceremony outside and reception inside. Our guest LOVED the venue! Thank you again Erin, Chrissy Emily and Wrightsville Manor Team. I was a very happy bride!

I have been following Wrightsville Manor on social media since their beginning (also pre-engagement, HA!) and I was immediately drawn to the architecture, its elegance, and simple beauty all on its own. WM also has hidden beauty – the way the sun sets right above the tree line during the ceremony providing perfect lighting for pictures, the dangling lights from the trees that illuminate the garden at night, the natural greenery surrounding the venue for pictures, and the many ways you can transform the space. We wanted our wedding to be simple, yet beautiful – and I truly believe this is the perfect venue to capture both! Chrissy and Erin were incredible to work with – very responsive and willing to give honest advice! They served us both so well on and before our wedding day – making sure all our needs were met and our day was seamless. WM provided the perfect place for an unforgettable and now our favorite day!

Wrightsville Manor was everything I could have ever wanted and so much more! The building alone with the beautiful whitewash brick spoke volumes. The beautiful Spanish moss tree in the back was the perfect backdrop for the romantic feel I wanted for my ceremony! The fireplace inside was beautifully lit and set the mood for my indoor reception! I couldn't have asked for a better, more perfect setting for my wedding!

My husband and I had the privilege of watching Wrightsville Manor transform from a plot of dirt to an amazingly gorgeous wedding venue over the past year, leading up to our wedding in September. Not only did we watch Chrissy and her team's vision turn into reality, but ours as well. Wrightsville Manor is absolutely a dream venue - from the spanish moss tree tucked away in the private garden we got married in, to the garden terrace where our guests enjoyed cocktail hour, to the full sweep of amenities inside where we had our reception. Chrissy was amazing to work with, always making herself available when we were in town and wanted to stop by to see the progress. She always listened to my ideas and supplemented them with her own artistic vision. Wrightsville Manor is the perfect 'beach' venue, without being directly on the beach - and provides a sophisticated mix of southern charm and modern elegance. I can't recommend highly enough!

The brides have spoken now it's time to hear from a MOB. AMAZING! One word to describe Wrightsville Manor. WM is what I would describe as a "full service " venue that offers chairs/tables/alcohol/bartender on-site. It has plenty of parking with 2 statuesque brick columns that adorn the entry from the parking lot to the grounds. And lest I overlook the bridal suite, it's feminine, functional and comfortable (oh if those walls could talk! LOL). Tropical Storm Hermine disrupted our plans for an outdoor ceremony but WM is so beautiful on the inside that our day was not dampened. It was a romantic and intimate event for all. A daughter's wedding is something a mother dreams of. It's a sacred day that you want to trust with someone that "gets it". And Chrissy gets it! She is approachable and responsive. Chrissy answered all of my texts and questions (and this nervous MOB had several). Through this experience we have formed a special bond and I have made a friend for life. Peter and Erin were a pleasure to meet and work with as well. They were on-site early the day of and stayed until "last call". If you are planning an upcoming wedding please schedule a visit and tour WM. You will be charmed by the elegance and grandness of this venue.

My husband and I were the first event/wedding held at Wrightsville Manor and I could not imagine having my wedding at another venue. This venue is simply beautiful. We held our ceremony and reception there and how could you not! The garden is so enchanting and the ballroom is filled with romance! I fell in love with Wrightsville Manor not only for the cosmetics however Peter and Chrissy are so warm and professional. They made sure my Husband and I were truly happy with the venue! I was a Spring bride so having the ceremony portion and cocktail hour in the garden was very important to me! Chrissy, Peter and the Wrightsville Manor staff transformed the garden into a cozy environment with warm neutral spring colors. I receive so many compliments on my wedding venue choice and I wish I could relive that day everyday! My wedding was truly a dream come true!!

Rain or shine this is an amazing event venue for a wedding!! My mom & I booked Wrightsville Manor when it was only a dirt pile & it has turned into a wonderful place! Our wedding just so happened to be when tropical storm Hermine wanted to join as well. The whole staff was awesome! They were very attentive to my guests walking in from the rain & made sure my day was nothing but the best despite the weather. My ceremony was supposed to be on the lawn, but we ended up having an intimate reception style ceremony which worked out just as well! With all the chandeliers, candles & of course the fireplace, it made our ceremony very romantic. I would highly recommend Wrightsville Manor to anyone, this venue is perfect for your ceremony & reception, which is very accommodating to have both at the same location!

Amazing!!! This word truly captures the most amazing people you will work with when booking Wrightsville Manor and the amazing venue this place has to offer. My husband (now :)) and I booked the venue when it was only a sketch and the ground had not even been broken. This could be scary for some brides. But after meeting with Chrissy, I had no doubt. Chrissy is wonderful to work with and her vision of the venue was beautiful. I could not have asked for a more beautiful space in wilmington. We visited several other spaces in wilmington, but chose to go with Wrightsville Manor because no Other space in Wilmington is like this! We wanted to do an outside cocktail hour and have an open floor plan for dancing and socializing. The terrace is beautiful and worked so well for our cocktail hour. Chrissy answered every phone call, email, text. She is a great asset to have on your wedding vendor team!

A magical venue...we were fortunate to have a beautiful day so we could enjoy the lush grounds. I appreciated the owners constantly making improvements...they try to think of everything to make WM the premier Wilmington venue! Erin is a delight to work with, as well, and will ensure a successful event, by going over and beyond! The convenient location to great dining, lodging and of course, the beach, makes it a no brainer!

When we booked our wedding at Wrightsville Manor back in March, we were definitely a little nervous as it was still a construction site and our wedding was just 5 months later in August. But we took a chance, and it worked out perfectly! We were able to have our ceremony outside in the beautiful lawn area with the huge trees, and then we had our cocktail hour on the patio and the reception inside. Everyone is super friendly and easy to work with, and they are very flexible on you being able to bring in any vendors/decor etc. They are adding more and more little decor details every day so when it is finally "done", I think it will be even more awesome. Staff/bartenders were also great. Thank you, WM!

We just had our wedding here and it was truly a dream come to life. We booked with them while still under construction, and I mean it was a concrete slab and some walls. Chrissy walked us through the site and really had a wonderful vision that she was able to convey to us. We booked within the next few days. Throughout the following months I was able to peek in periodically and I grew more and more excited each time as I saw the vision come to life. The staff there are so nice, easy to work with, professional, and I'd love to recommend this venue. It's such a beautiful place.

I am so glad I did. Even though it was just a patch of grass when I first saw it and signed the contract, I knew it was the spot for us. It was the wedding of our dreams and I can't thank the whole team at Wrightsville Manor enough!!

We are so excited for our upcoming wedding next June. This property is absolutely beautiful and the owners are so sweet and easy to work with. Not only is the venue beautiful, but it is in one of the best areas in town with restaurants and shopping in walking distance, and the beach being less than a mile away.
