WOW! Where do we start?! We reached out to Wunderland and Co, based on a preferred vendors list from Roblar Winery. What a treat it was! We worked with Sara Matteson and her team from 3,000 miles away, we reached out and instantly made a connection. Sara's communication, professionalism, and knowledge made working together seamless. We worked hand in hand to ensure that every I was dotted, and T was crossed. Handing over the event for the final days was the best decision we could have made, making our team at A Family Affair Event Plans able to attend the wedding for Mikala and Mick and have the reassurance that what the bride and groom had envisioned came to life. We can't thank Sara and her team enough for giving us the peace of mind, making those dreams come to reality. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
I truly am so grateful for Wünderland & Co. My husband and I had been planning our wedding for a bit over a year, and we were about four months out from our wedding, when several things started falling apart - it was a bit of a perfect storm. We decided to go with a new venue last minute and seek out a new planner, as we had a very disappointing and unsatisfactory experience with the previous one we were working with. With only a few months to go, we were so nervous to try and find a new planner - and then we ended up finding Maria and her team. Meeting with Maria and then Sara, who ended up being our coordinator, was the best thing that could have happened to us. Sara is so professional, calm, detailed, organized, communicative, kind, and genuinely loves what she does. It was evident that she wanted us to have the best wedding day possible, and she was on top of communicating with all of our vendors as well, which was amazing. On the day of the rehearsal and the wedding day itself, Sara was so on point with keeping track of our timeline, ensuring that everything was properly set up, and making sure that my husband and I had as little stress as possible, to allow us to be in the moment + focus on each other. Working with her was an absolute dream, and I recommend Wünderland wholeheartedly. Our wedding would not have been as perfect if it wasn't for Sara and the team, and we are endlessly grateful ❤️
Maria from Wunderland & Co was the most amazing wedding planner and we could not have asked for a more perfect planner for our special day. From start to finish, our experience with Maria was top notch. She had the most amazing vendor list to work with and every recommendation she gave us on vendor choice was spot on with the vibe that we wanted for our wedding. She was a great communicator and always available when we needed to chat or had questions about something. When we had a miscommunication with a vendor a week before the wedding she sprung into action and immediately solved it for us within a couple of hours. Day of, her and her assistant made sure the day ran smoothly and we did not have any issues with pace, vendors or the venue. On top of all of that she was an absolute joy to work with and felt like family while we were going through this process. We would highly recommend booking Wunderland & Co for your wedding planning needs!

The team at Wunderland &Co are absolutely amazing! Our day-of planner was Sara and everything went so incredibly smoothly. She worked with us leading up to the event and helped us plan the most perfect day. Her calm personality mixed with her awesome know-how made the whole process feel effortless, which is definitely saying something when it comes to wedding planning. We cannot recommend them strongly enough!

We worked with Maria and Sara to plan our wedding at the 1880 Union in Los Alamos. Maria initially met with us and immediately understood our vision for the wedding and our goals for our budget, which was a rare experience in the wedding planning process. For our actual wedding day, we worked with Sara as our day of coordinator, and there is no person on earth who could have done a better job. We are beyond grateful for Sara's calm demeanor, her in the moment problem solving, and the care and attention she showed our guests. Our wedding was in the fall in the Santa Barbara wine country where the chance of rain is probably 1%, but on our wedding day it poured in the morning and was drizzling on and of until around 2pm. While others were panicking, Sara was cool, calm and collected and, from my perspective, when the sun came out around 3pm our wedding went off without a single problem. But I know this was 90% because of Sara, not the weather. From making sure the table settings were not just correct, but dry, to personally passing out the blankets we had purchased to guests during dinner to make sure everyone was comfortable, Sara's attention to detail and her care for our guests was unparalleled. In all honestly, our wedding without Sara might well have been a disaster. With Sara, it was the best day of our lives. I cannot give a better recommendation than that.
Maria helped us plan our 25th wedding anniversary party. We started planning pre-covid in the fall of 2019 for a 2020 summer party but weren't able to have our event until August 2022. Maria was incredibly detailed and professional with our arrangements. She provided recommendations for many of our vendors and then worked often as a go-between for their services provided. On the day of our event, she supervised all of the rentals and the catering staff and really let us just enjoy the party. She was a pleasure to work with and our party was a blast! Everything looked exactly as I had hoped and planned and our guests were wowed with the whole event.
Maria is incredible! Aaron and I were so lucky to work with her for our wedding in Buellton, CA on 9/3/22. She has an eye for design and we welcomed all of her thoughts and suggestions throughout our planning process. We loved her bringing in Embellish Rentals for little, beautiful touches throughout our reception. Maria is an amazing human and loved getting to know her and her family throughout our process as well. She is an all-in planner with support - even putting together our wine-cork thank you gifts a night before the wedding. Her coordination and positive attitude, with all of our vendors leading up to the day and day-of was top-notch and highly recommend her and her team to plan and run any of your events - Wedding, birthdays, engagement sessions and all celebrations.
Maria is the absolute BEST! Not only is she extremely organized, she’s also creative and was our favorite person to work with during our wedding! Wedding planning can seem overwhelming, but Maria was kind and patient and made the entire experience so enjoyable! She had so many great ideas and great relationships with so many different vendors that the planning process went so much more smoothly than we thought. She also made the day of so much fun and took care of so many different things (things you don’t even realize until the day comes, but she handles it!). Maria and her team are able to think on the spot to solve problems and were so kind and professional that it made every interaction with her fun and easy. We could not possibly recommend someone more!!

If I could rate Maria 10 stars I would, she was our wedding planning QUEEN! Planning a wedding felt like an overwhelmingly daunting task. The fact that it was a Covid wedding only amplified those feelings. Maria’s expertise, vendor connects/ insider info, and attention to detail helped us navigate each step and truly brought our wedding dreams to life.
In moments when our minds were spiraling Maria would check in with us, instantly calming our nerves and getting us back on track. Maria was patient, genuine and kind hearted. We truly can not thank her enough.
If you are planning a wedding I can not recommend Wunderland & Co enough!! Maria was an absolute dream to work with. She is so sweet and extremely cool, calm, and collected - she helped to alleviate any anxiety and stress from the entire process. She listened to all of our ideas and visions and helped bring our dream wedding to life. We couldn't have done it without her!
Maria truly went above and beyond for us! We were looking at eloping on a hot air balloon in the Santa Ynez valley and being from Oregon we relied heavily on Maria. Not only did she take over the details (including meeting with the hot air balloon company ahead of time to figure out the logistics), but she also helped us brainstorm a plan B if the weather did not cooperate (which included her offering her property to host our ceremony free of charge! Luckily the weather cooperated so we didn't have to worry about a plan B). Being that we also eloped, what I really needed from Maria was a "best" friend to help calm my nerves, help with ironing my wedding dress and even putting my dress on (seriously, Maria was a ROCK star!!). She also showed up with two special wine glasses for my groom and I along with champagne to help calm our nerves before we did our first look. Given that this was a unique experience (I mean it's a hot air balloon!!), Maria rolled with the punches, coordinated with all of our vendors (such as the officiant, videographer, photographer, florist, and hair and makeup gal) and had the BEST and most LOVING attitude from start to finish. And to top off all of that (I could seriously go on and on about her all day!), she got our hotel room ready with over 20 candles, our flowers perfectly displayed, and a beautiful candle light dinner just for the two of us. When I told her that I felt like she was more of a best friend than my coordinator, she started crying (talk about being genuine right?!). If you are looking to hire someone who is kind, efficient, a great communicator and someone who really does care about your special day, then HIRE Maria!! You won't regret it!!
If you're getting married in SB Valley area, I cannot recommend Maria enough! Even though I wanted a low-key and casual wedding, planning on my own inevitably started to get complicated, and I needed a lot of guidance. Maria was calm and cool throughout, a great communicator, and an invaluable advisor. When Maria got involved, I NEVER was overwhelmed or stressed. I don't think many people can say that! Maria is wonderful. Her services are worth the price.
Maria was fabulous and we would hire her over and over again! She was with us from the beginning and gave us all the tools, including a timeline/checklist, we needed to stay organized and ahead! She has a great eye for design and props and we valued her honest opinion/recommendations when it came to selecting decor/floral as well as vendors.
Our wedding day went off without a hitch! It was the most magical day and we couldn’t have dreamed it better ourselves - Maria had a great hand in that and made sure everything ran on time and coordinated day of with all of our vendors. We had such a wonderful experience working with Maria and it was so easy to trust her with our big day!
Our guests were raving about the wedding how it was one of the most fun and best ones they’ve been too. We couldn’t believe how smooth everything went.
Maria was fantastic to work with! She is super organized and has a wonderful network of vendors and contacts in the Santa Ynez Valley area. Maria listened to what we wanted and also gave us some great advice. She found the perfect florist and musicians. Our day went flawlessly with Maria overseeing everything throughout our wedding. Maria is so sweet, kind, organized and hospitable. Our staff really enjoy working with her, she is hands on every step of the way being sure everyone is happy and we have what we need to do the job. When starting the wedding process, we knew that the first thing we wanted and needed was a wedding coordinator. The location that we chose is not a common wedding location... in fact we were the first wedding they ever had and the only reason they let us have the wedding there was because of how long our family has been going there... so we knew it was going to be tricky if we did not hire someone. Wunderland & Co. was the second company on my contact list and after talking to Maria, her calmness and professionalism sold us. She really took this experience to another level that we truly appreciated. She was on top of everything, from sending me vendors to setting up the timeline and contacting the vendors to assure everything was exactly how we wanted. She did amazing with the layout and introduced us to the most phenomenal caterer who also became our day of coordinator.
During the process, we had a last minute emergency with our florist and she reached out to her people to help make sure everything was perfect the day of our wedding. We could not have asked for a better coordinator. Every vendor that we worked with all had amazing things to say about Maria and her professionalism which just proved our point of how wonderful she is.
Maria was always looking out for our best interest. She is just a very genuine person and we are so happy and grateful we got to experience our wedding with her on our team.

Maria was the best money we have ever spent! She is cool calm and collected 24/7 which makes for the smoothest planning process. I fully put my trust in her and she over delivered. Quite honestly I was bored the morning of my wedding because there was literally nothing for me to do which is how it should be! Maria truly was the most amazing coordinator I could have asked for! She helped me plan my romantic, March wedding at Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse. Her easy going, down-to-earth, sweet personality was what won me over in the beginning and helped keep me grounded throughout the entire process. I can be a worrier, so Maria was able to assuage my fears help me stay focused on the important matters. She is always professional. She gets things done without being overbearing or bossy. One thing that really impressed me was how much all of the vendors loved her. They were always remarking how wonderful she is and how much they enjoyed working with her. That speaks volumes to me. Throughout every step of the process I always felt she had my best interests at heart. She really listened to me and understood what I envisioned for the day and she made it happen. The day of the wedding went smoothly and beautifully despite a bit of mud and wind!

Maria was so crucial to seeing the wedding through to completion. She felt like a true friend who genuinely cared about the event and wanted to see it succeed as much as we did. She was quick to respond, an excellent communicator, and was SO on top of things. I had been doing so much myself that when she stepped in to wrangle the vendors and make the schedule, and ask me the right questions, and help fill in some last minute details that had fallen through the cracks..I can't really express how grateful I feel. Almost everyone who attended has said the same thing "I've been to a lot of weddings, but this was one of the best"..and I really believe them, because biased as I may be I have to agree. Could not have done it without Maria.

Choosing to hire a wedding coordinator was the best thing I did during the planning process because Maria was an invaluable teammate to have along for the whole journey. As a creative myself, I wanted someone to collaborate with on ideas, who also could guide me while I was otherwise blinded through the process of planning. She was great at communicating with vendors, and making sure my vision was being met. She loves to use the analogy that planning a wedding with her clients is like making a baby together. And our baby was VERY beautiful and PERFECT!!! I should also mention here, that she literally did have a baby shortly after we hired her, which did not slow her down at all. Dixie came along for the ride on most of our meetings and was a fun treat to have.
The initial reason I chose Maria after speaking with 12 other coordinators was because she was very real, to the point, and I could tell she had a good eye for design and planning. We spoke the same design idea language. I felt like I was talking to an old friend as we easily chatted for about an hour on our first phone call meeting ever.
I highly recommend her!
Maria from Wunderland & Co is highly recommended by us to coordinate and style your important events. She was our wedding coordinator and pulled off a beautiful wedding in a remote place with plenty of challenges. She has an attention to detail and was very available to me during the process. Maria and her assistant were incredible the day of my daughters wedding. They were calm, organized and seemed to be very much behind the scene getting things done. I really didn't notice them during the event and yet everything went on time as planned.
Leading up to the event, Maria was always there to assist and give advice to my daughter. Maria is creative , organized, available and has great ideas and put it all together for us. The ranch was beautiful and my daughter had an incredible wedding.
