Cassie, JD, and August helped make the lead up to the wedding easier, more fun, and exciting! Our other vendors only had positive things to say when we told them where the wedding was located. The events team are pros: they had a plan ready to go when we had to change our cocktail hour location due to the weather. They also thought of details I would never have realized. It was a relief to have a venue close-ish to where we live and to have so many things built in as part of the wedding package. Multiple guests said our wedding was a 10/10: they loved the venue, the food (especially cacio e pepe, steak, and sliders at the after-party) and drinks, and had a nice experience interacting with the team at the Wythe. Our wedding party also enjoyed getting ready at the North 8 Loft - it was pricey, but it was perfect for a large wedding party/bigger immediate family.
Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze.
At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our $395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed.
We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos.
Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!
We already knew the Wythe Hotel was clearly a stunning space to host our wedding but we were not prepared for how incredible of a team the Wythe Hotel has. JD & Cassie made the whole journey seamless and stress-free for us.
The level of care and attention the Wythe Hotel provides is priceless and was so worth it for us. The food blew us and our guests away. We had so many of our friends & family tell us how amazing the food was. I have to say the tasting we had was probably one of our favorite parts of the whole wedding planning process lol! As a wedding vendor myself, I know how complex and detailed weddings can be and the Wythe Hotel has made it such a seamless process for their couples. From JD & Cassie to the all lovely staff working at the hotel, the waiters and bartenders for our day, we could not have asked for anything more. We will always be so grateful for the hospitality provided on such a big day in our lives. We felt so spoiled and taken care of by everyone at the Wythe Hotel. It’ll will always have a special place is our hearts and we cannot wait to reminisce our day while dining at Le Crocodile & Bar Blondeau in the future.
Any questions?
Wow, where do I even begin! We booked our wedding at the Wythe in July of 2023, and I can't imagine getting married anywhere else. The team at the Wythe made the entire planning process and big day easy. JD and Cassie supported us throughout the planning, and were so accommodating every step of the way. We even had to make last minute adjustments the day before due to a hurricane impeding travel plans for some guests. The entire team at the Wythe were absolutely wonderful during the weekend of the wedding. We still have guests talking about how delicious the food was, how great the drinks were, how nice the staff was, and how it was the most beautiful venue! Thank you so much to the Wythe for making this day so special!
There aren't words to describe how happy we are with our experience hosting our October wedding at Wythe Hotel. Beyond the event space being absolutely magical and the perfect canvas for so many design options, their staff is top notch. This is was solidified our decision to host our special day there and make the investment - which is not of course, not anything to be casual about when considering a New York City wedding. JD and Cassie are true experts at their craft - seamlessly and effortlessly guiding us through the 1+ year long process with grace and professionalism.
Also, we had perfect experiences with all their recommended vendors, of which about 90% of our team was. They only work with the best, and that was extremely apparent in the extension of the vendors they put their name next to.
The only critique I have is if they can find a way to make the day slow down somehow :). Everything was so special and will be thinking of this for a lifetime!
We cannot recommend hosting your event at the Wythe highly enough. They were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, and on throughout the weekend itself we were so blown away by the entire Wythe team's warmth, helpfulness, and attentiveness. Plus, the food is incredible!
The Wythe is THE place for a special and unique NYC wedding. We hosted a 50-person cocktail party in the penthouse loft (ceremony was earlier at City Hall) and it was perfect. Every wedding venue is either a ballroom (offering the typical wedding run-of-show) or a restaurant (stuck at a table the entire time). The Wythe is an incredibly designed hotel that has so many fun options to celebrate.
Cassie and JD were incredibly helpful throughout, responsive and professional. Provided good insight and suggestions. Additionally, the staff during our wedding was wonderful!
The service during our party was very high touch and there was incredible attention to detail. The presentation of the food service and bar was wonderful. In addition to the bar service, we opted for just heavy appetizers (seafood, meat/cheese, crudite, sliders and fries and dessert bites). Our guests were able to mingle in the penthouse loft and the outdoor terrace. We ended the night dancing on the terrace with incredible views of the NYC skyline. Iconic and unique - just what we wanted.
Where do we begin?! We are so happy we choose the Wythe and so incredibly grateful to the entire team for making our wedding dreams come true!
JD and Cassie have been exceptional to work with - from the minute we met them at our initial tour we knew we were in amazing hands! They always promptly and kindly answered our emails, and all our changes never seemed to be a problem. They truly supported and cared for us every step of the way, and made the entire process not just easy, but fun!
In addition to Cassie and JD, the entire team at the Wythe - from hotel porters, to bar and wait staff - were so incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Seriously 10/10 hospitality from the entire team.
And I can’t leave a review without mentioning the tasting night that they offer - it was by far our favorite part of the entire wedding planning process, and such a fun - and delicious - date night!! (OMG the food and beverage from Le Crocodile is so so so good!).
We count ourselves so lucky to be part of the Wythe Wedding alumni and can’t wait to return year after year for our anniversary!
Absolutely amazing venue, staff and service. We hosted a small wedding in the penthouse loft and terrace. From the initial planning stages to the day of our wedding, the Wythe team exceeded our expectations.
We cannot recommend Wythe Hotel enough, as a truly iconic venue to get married in, incredible food and beverages, and a genuinely lovely team to work with. Incredibly responsive, professional, and timely, but also fun and personable. We couldn't have imagined a better place to get married!
The Wythe Hotel provided us with a beautiful setting for our special day. The industrial-chic ambiance and timeless vibe of the venue perfectly matched the aesthetic we were going for. The panoramic views added that extra touch of magic to the occasion, making it truly unforgettable.
The staff at the Wythe Hotel were incredibly attentive and accommodating throughout the planning process. They had an organized portal that made it easy for us to map out every detail of the event, ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the day.
While the penthouse suite offered a breathtaking backdrop for our cocktail-style reception, we also appreciated the reasonable pricing for such a prime location. It allowed us to have our dream wedding without breaking the bank.
In terms of dining options, the Slider Bar and french fries provided a unique and delicious alternative for dinner. Our guests raved about the creativity and quality of the menu choices, adding an unexpected and fun element to the evening.
Although all of the event spaces in the hotel are amazing, we had an intimate gathering with 36 guests held penthouse suite. We had our ceremony on the terrace with the Manhattan Skyline behind us and our cocktail style reception was held in the the suite and we enjoyed dancing on the terrace which was lit up with awesome marquee lights and the skyline view at night was breathtaking.
Overall, our experience with Wythe Hotel was overwhelmingly positive. We truly couldn't have asked for a better place to host our celebration and we felt the entire hotel exceeded our expectations. From the stunning views to the attentive service and creative cuisine, Wythe Hotel truly helped make our wedding day a dream come true.
Amazing venue, incredible team! We are so happy with how everything turned out and so glad we entrusted The Wythe for our special day!
We had a great experience at the Wythe Hotel with our wedding. The team was very responsive in getting everything set up and answering our many questions that came up along the way. Things were definitely more straightforward than with other venues, where everything was rather opaque and confusing.
The value is definitely there with the Wythe. Having the food and drinks provided by the venue was a huge load off our minds, and everyone commented that the food was actually good, which is always unexpected for a wedding, especially serving close to 100 people. We thought all the food at the tasting was excellent, but we were happy to find that it translated over to the event as well.
The space itself is quite nice and looks great without needing a ton of decor. It comfortably fit our ceremony, dinner, and dancing. The staff was very professional and attentive to our needs throughout. We also got the loft suite for the bride to prep in with our party, which was a great idea. It's a nice, spacious room with a fantastic view. The location of the hotel itself is also awesome - the neighborhood was fantastic for entertaining our out-of-town guests who stayed there with us for the time surrounding the wedding, and it was great for going out for a bit of an afterparty as well.
The Wythe offers incredible value if you are trying to keep your wedding in the city (believe us, we looked!), while still offering a fantastic experience that felt like nothing was lacking. We can't recommend them highly enough!
The Wythe hosted our wedding, as well as our morning after brunch at Bar Blondeau, and both events went as perfectly as you could possibly imagine. From logistics to food to setting to their DJ recommendation, everything about our day was perfect thanks to the professionalism of the folks working at the Wythe.
This is simply a world-class venue--capable of a variety of beautiful settings, always accompanied by delicious food and drink options, and of course a spectacular hotel to host the wedding party. Everything about the Wythe was magical.
The Wythe Hotel had everything we could have ever wanted for our wedding: Excellent food and drink, a unique and beautiful space with a blend of industrial and natural elements, and an efficient, friendly, and accommodating team of staff.
The event staff at the Wythe were incredibly responsive to all of our questions and needs. We had booked the Wythe Hotel over a year in advance and during this time, there was a change in staffing; however, this transition was seamless and Cassie managed our event so well, it was as if she was there from the start. All of the planning with the Wythe Hotel leading up to our wedding day was extremely organized and stress-free.
On our wedding day, the Wythe Hotel was like a perfectly well-oiled machine and did a wonderful job working with our coordinator and team of vendors on managing our wedding. We were able to truly enjoy the day with our guests.
It's been a week since our wedding and our guests are still raving about the Wythe Hotel, whether it's about the deliciousness of the food or the beauty of the Garden Terrace. Thank you to the Wythe Hotel for putting so much care into our wedding and helping us put together a day that we'll look back on fondly for the rest of our lives.
When we first started looking for venues for our wedding on a budget, a lot of places we visited either seemed like soulless wedding factories or were quick to ghost us once they knew we were not interested in a standard expensive ceremony and reception. But once we visited the Wythe Hotel, we knew it was a perfect match.
The penthouse suite is beautiful with an amazing view of Brooklyn and the Manhattan skyline, as well as a balcony for an outdoor ceremony, but flexible enough to put our own spin on things. As we were touring the venue, everyone was so kind and helpful and made us feel welcome, and after having a meal at Le Crocodile, we knew the food and drinks would be top notch.
From the beginning of the planning process, JD and Mina were there to answer questions at every turn and extremely helpful and valuable for any advice needed. The Wythe provides a planning portal in which you can provide a timeline of events, Spotify playlists links required for the processional and recessional, choose which types of food and beverages you want, and keep track of your vendors and their information. In our small 20 person group, we were able to also note dietary restrictions and choose children's meals for the kids, all of which were accommodated without any problem (they even provided an onion-free salad to one of our guests who just doesn't like them).
From check-in to the actual day of the wedding, everyone involved in the Wythe (from event management to staff to front desk and door people) went above and beyond in all aspects, from helping us unload our car with a smile and some jokes to handling the dessert delivery we had dropped off to a nice welcome note in our room to providing us with champagne glasses for hair and makeup in our room.
As we got ready for the ceremony to begin, Caitlin, our event captain, was there to make sure everything went smooth and everyone was provided for. The event staff was amazing, providing us with water and champagne for the ceremony and some delicious cocktails for afterward. For our wedding package, we chose the family style setup, and the food was one of the highlights that our guests kept raving about. After some dancing and a musical performance, we had desserts, both our provided ones and some delicious cookies and tarts. As the night wound down, the staff allowed us a little extra time to keep partying and helped us collect our decorations for cleanup.
We would happily recommend the Wythe Hotel as a great location for a Brooklyn based wedding and reception and will certainly return to Le Crocodile for food and cocktails. Thank you all, it was a joy and made our special day perfect.
Had a wonderful experience at the Wythe Hotel for our wedding! Cassie and JD were awesome and were always so responsive over email during the planning process. Everything seemed easy! We especially loved the tasting night when picking our menu. They made it special and a date night with your partner! They were also super flexible... we got married in March and we had unseasonably good weather so we were able to host our ceremony in the garden terrace (which was beautiful) instead of downstairs! 10/10 would do it again
Although I am located in Nebraska, I am a Brooklyn frequenter and heard about this venue from my hairdresser. The team at the Wythe was super responsive and professional from the get go. They made planning our intimate wedding from another state easy. They already included so much in their wedding package and had a list of preferred vendors for everything else.
The day of went off without a hitch and THE FOOD, ridiculously good. So many of my guests came up to us after and said that it was one of the best weddings they have been to. Couldn’t recommend more!
Where do we begin?! We could not have been happier to host our wedding at Wythe Hotel. From booking the venue to the actual wedding day, the team at Wythe was helpful, communicative, and enthusiastic. We especially want to thank Cassie Pope for helping us execute our vision. People say wedding planning is hard and stressful, but that was not our experience whatsoever, thanks to all the help the staff at Wythe provided. We sent a million emails to Abijah, Cassie, and August during the planning process, and everyone responded so quickly and thoroughly. Two months have passed and our guests still rave about the food, drinks, and beautiful venue. We are eternally grateful to the staff at Wythe Hotel for everything they did for us and our wedding. We can't wait to come back for staycations!!
Our wedding at the Wythe Hotel went absolutely perfectly. Throughout the entire year of planning the events staff was accommodating, professional and responsive. The hotel was very open to our specific vision for the evening, which included the ceremony and reception in the main room, with a cocktail hour interlude in Bar Blondeau and an afterparty in the basement screening room. All the spaces felt wonderfully atmospheric and fitting for the event. The hotel has a long list of recommended vendors who perform regular events in the space, which made coordination and planning a smooth experience. Having the Wythe provide catering was a huge benefit, both for the ease of planning but also as the food was delicious. Finally, the hotel provided us with a number of courtesies and bonuses as they tried to accommodate our specific plans (such as upgrading us to a penthouse room), which were much appreciated.
Our wedding weekend at the Wythe was hands down the best weekend of our lives. The staff, the space, the food and drinks were all incredible and I was so proud to share them with our guests.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Bar Blondeau, stayed in the South 7th Loft, and our wedding in the Main Space/Garden. All of the spaces were stunning, and the staff was so helpful and accommodating every step of the way. They were happy to accommodate last minute changes, and on so top of every part of the event that all of our needs were met before I even realized I needed something (for example, I finished my drink during the toasts and a staff member came and refilled my glass discreetly without me noticing).
I cannot recommend the Wythe highly enough!
We used the "Intimate Wedding Package" for our 44 person wedding at the Wythe. The venue is gorgeous. They take care of food, tables, place settings, A/V, the works. We only had to hire a florist, photographer and day of coordinator (The Wythe has an excellent preferred vendor list). Their staff is friendly and detail oriented. Everything went exactly as we had planned. As someone who produces events for a living, I was very impressed with the service we received. I'd recommend them to anyone!
The Wythe Hotel was everything was could have imagined and hoped for! We booked them for our ceremony, reception, and after party. The entire process felt so seamless, and we felt like they really went out of their way to ensure that the experience was top notch. The staff was so helpful and made the wedding feel very neat and organized. Our guests remarked that the food was the best wedding food they have ever had.
This venue is absolutely gorgeous and is a no brainer for a couple looking for a rustic Brooklyn wedding vibe.
incredible! beyond our dreams
The event staff was great and very attentive during the reception. The main event space is stunning and was perfect for our reception. Food was great and the event team was very good about dealing with various guest allergies.
My wife and I were put in a situation where we needed to plan a wedding in 6 weeks, and the staff at the Wythe was ready and excited about it! They were responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. The Wythe has a couple of venue options, and we had the Loft and the Cellar rooms to split our party of 50 guests. It was the perfect size for what we wanted to do.
I could not imagine having a more positive experience with a wedding venue than we did with the Wythe! From our initial walkthrough all the way through when we checked out the morning after our wedding, the service was absolutely impeccable. Every person that we interacted with on the staff was knowledgeable, professional, and kind.
Especially in the months leading up to our wedding (we worked with Cassie primarily), it was so comforting to know how experienced this team is. They are truly a well-oiled machine, and yet also made us feel so special by being genuinely invested in us pulling off a great event. Whether it came to vendor recommendations, working through logistics, setting up a fabulous tasting, or allowing us to arrange tours with our families, they truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and more.
The wedding day itself was perfect, and so much of that is a testament to this wonderful venue and team. We are so grateful and could not recommend them any more!
We are so happy we got married at the Wythe! The ambiance of the ceremony and reception was perfect, we received so many compliments from our guests about how intimate it felt for the size of the party, and how much they loved the space.
Everyone we worked with at the Wythe was delightful. From last minute attendee shifts, booking hotel rooms and assisting with brunch plans + reservations they were incredibly accommodating.
The food was incredible, and the bridal suite was the perfect location for getting ready - we especially loved the private roof top for first look pictures :)
Highly highly recommend - would pick them every time if we had to do it over again.
The Wythe Hotel was absolutely amazing and helped us put together the best wedding - we felt so taken care of from when we started planning until the day of the big of event! Also some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever encountered - everyone genuinely wants to help and make your stay/experience great. Could not recommend a better venue!! Our wedding was 50 total - ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and after party all done onsite and executed perfectly!
Cassie and her team were truly remarkable. 10/10!
We toured 11 venues before we finally landed on the Wythe. A few reasons: 1) It's such a beautiful space, we didn't have to add any decorations besides the tablescapes and florals, 2) The venue came with catering, staffing, open bar, cake, tent and heating in case it gets cold or rainy, and 3) It's a hotel, so our families could stay there, and we could have our ceremony and reception in the same place. Most of our vendors were Wythe recommendations, and they were all fantastic to work with. It helped that Wythe had worked with them before, so the whole team felt like a well-oiled machine.
Cassie and Abijah were great to work with and super patient. We probably asked ~100 questions in the year leading up to our wedding, and they never made us feel like we were too much, and they were responsive and timely. I will say, you should definitely read all of the fine print and review your contracts closely — even after you've signed them, because they're living documents. Six months after we'd signed with Wythe, they informed us that they'd accidentally put the wrong hours on our contract and needed to subtract the first hour. We were pretty alarmed because we'd sent out our invitations already and hired several vendors who were contracted for our original hours. We made it clear that we would not accept different hours, especially given that it was not our mistake to begin with. (They also accidentally added a $1,200 French fry bar to our contract that we'd never asked for.) To Wythe's credit, they immediately apologized and agreed to keep our original terms. They were honest mistakes and everyone's human, but it's a good reminder to keep receipts of everything and pay attention to contracts. Don't be afraid to ask questions — sometimes I worried about being "difficult," but it's a lot of money you're spending and you deserve to know all of the details!
The day itself was wonderful. We felt comfortable knowing that our coordinator was working closely with Wythe to ensure that all went smoothly. The food was amazing, everyone loved it. We loved our wedding cake so much that we bought an anniversary cake too (we thought it was cool that Wythe had this offering!). The space was warm, elegant and inviting. Our guests loved how beautiful and sophisticated it was. Wythe was very accommodating, and even packed up meals for my young nephews and their babysitter to bring up to their room. There were still a few hiccups. There was a lag time for appetizers during cocktail hour. Most guests stayed on the lower level of the terrace and the appetizers weren't coming. When I asked, a server said that Wythe typically passes appetizers on the upper level. But none of the guests knew that, so many were left hungry and wondering where the food was. Similarly, the kitchen was behind on serving dinner, so guests had to sit around for 20 extra minutes before food came out. That being said, no venue is perfect. And the Wythe did help save the day in a big way: Earlier on, I realized that we'd completely forgotten to bring our sparklers! I quickly accepted it, thinking maybe guests could just do "the wave" during our exit. Later, though, our coordinator said that some fairy godparent at Wythe was on the hunt for sparklers in the area. Lo and behold, when we walked out for our exit, everyone had sparklers!
Overall, our wedding turned out to be everything we hoped for. It was a truly magical day, and obviously we couldn't have pulled it all off without the Wythe.
We had our intimate wedding in the penthouse loft + cellar on 10/28/23 and could not have had a better experience!! We worked with JD and Mina and they were super responsive throughout the whole process. We really felt like we were in good hands for our big day. It was easy to work with them to get all the details set up leading up to the wedding and then on the day of, everything went exactly as we'd hoped. The views are stunning from the penthouse and it hardly needs any decor because of the beauty of the space. The food was absolutely the best food I've ever had at any wedding and also their signature wedding cake was to die for! All the staff working our event was professional and if anything went wrong we definitely didn't know it - their weddings run like a well-oiled machine. We had the best day ever and we can't thank the team at the Wythe Hotel enough!
Over two years of planning our 135 person wedding at the Wythe, the team was incredibly helpful, professional and responsive. Beyond seamless organization and coordination, the actual wedding day was incredibly high-end start to finish: impeccable service, delicious food and cocktails, stunning spaces/rooms. The ability to utilize its various rooms (garden for ceremony and dancing, main hall for dining, and screening room for after party) made it a truly unique experience for our guests that felt like Brooklyn through and through. Getting ready at the hotel made the day of really enjoyable and relaxing, not to mention how luxurious it is to stay in a 5-star hotel. Can't recommend the Wythe enough!
Initially, we fell in love with the venue and all of the different event spaces available for our wedding weekend. But after working so closely with the team and having been a part of/gone to so many weddings, we realized what makes the Wythe hotel so special is their amazing team.
Planning a wedding (on your own) can be really stressful and overwhelming but when you have Abijah and Cassie on your team, there was nothing I ever needed to worry about. They were so kind, supportive and communicative through the process and made us feel like it was the one and only wedding at the hotel. They guide you every step of the way and make sure every detail is thought of.
Lastly, food is very important to us and one of the main reasons we chose Wythe is because of their unbelievable catering from Le Crocodile. Every dish was chef’s kiss!
I could write an essay about how much we loved our wedding and could not recommend it enough.Thank you to all of the amazing staff - Cassie, Abijah, August, Nate, Micah, George and more!!
Wythe Hotel is a top-tier wedding venue. Our wedding in August 2023 was the best day of our lives and completely stress-free - and that's thanks to the team at Wythe Hotel. We live in Sydney and planning our perfect day from afar was so much easier than expected because of JD and Mina, who supported us for over a year as we planned our dream day. Wythe Hotel was extremely flexible and JD and Mina were so kind and accommodating throughout our communication. Nothing was ever an issue, they responded quickly, and the time difference wasn't a problem when it came to making key decisions. The day-of Captain and hotel staff were so lovely, bubbly and attentive. Our favourite part of our venue (The Loft) was being able to dance later in the evening on the private balcony overlooking the Manhattan skyline - the best and a pinch-me moment for us and our international guests! The food, including our wedding cake, was outstanding and there was so much of it. We would recommend Wythe Hotel to everyone getting married in NYC, especially people who are not from the US. Honestly, we loved it and it exceeded ALL expectations. Thank you JD, Mina, Micah and all of the Wythe Hotel staff! You are so good at what you do.
We had a specific vision for our wedding, and the team at the Wythe were nothing short of spectacular. Considering we were certainly not the only wedding they were managing (not even the only one on that day), we felt so incredibly supported and cared for. All our needs - literally everything we wanted - was met, and we could not be happier. If we could do it all again, we would.
The Wythe is a MUST BOOK for your wedding!!!! I fell in love with the venue (garden terrace and main hall) the first time I came across it on Instagram and never looked back!! I could not be happier with how everything turned out leading up to the wedding and day of!
Abijah and Cassie were super communicative throughout the process, Lisa did a wonderful job at our menu tasting (which they set up as an elegant dinner in the main hall to really 'experience' the atmosphere for the wedding). August was super helpful in coordinating the room block and welcome bag distribution. The entire staff was friendly and super accommodating. Check in was smooth, in room dining was fast and matched the incredible aesthetic as the room and rest of the hotel!
The day of was magically, the venue is truly the perfect place for a hotel wedding that is both aesthetically pleasing (brick, high ceiling, black and white tile, string lights, long tables, etc.) and logistically seamless!!! Could not recommend more -- I wish I could do it all over again (the pics and vid will have to do ha)!
The Wythe hotel was the most incredible venue choice for our wedding. The event space itself is stunning, but what really made our wedding so special was the staff. Everyone was so attentive - from the servers and the bar staff, to the wedding team and our wedding coordinator Cassie Pope. It was so easy to get in touch with the Wythe team, and they were so responsive. They made planning a wedding so seamless and stress free, always answering my questions and solving my problems with ease. You can tell they are pros at weddings!
Our experience of having an intimate wedding at The Wythe was amazing from start to finish. We chose to utilise the loft suite which is a beautiful space with an attached private rooftop - everything was very clean and set up perfectly - the space was great for what we wanted - a chic NYC wedding with more of a 'dinner party' vibe.
Our wedding planners (JD and Mina) were incredible - every question we had was responded to quickly, they went above and beyond to ensure we were set up and knew what to expect on the day. We are not based in the US and even requests outside of the actual wedding (i,e, nearby restaurant/bar recommendations) were accommodated. The food was INSANE - so delicious, all of our guests commented on how great every course tasted. The cocktails and cake were also premium and dietary needs were taken into account. All of the staff at The Wythe were so lovely, caring and considerate, we honestly felt so looked after and special. I couldn't recommend getting married at The Wythe more.
My husband and I had our intimate wedding at the Wythe this July and we had the best experience from start to finish.
The team at the Wythe was so responsive and professional throughout the entire process. They answered every question and provided us with all the support we needed for our special day.
During our wedding weekend, the hotel staff was so kind. We were treated like royalty and truly felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. Our wedding day was flawless, every detail was executed perfectly and we could not have asked for more.
What an amazing experience having a wedding at the Wythe Hotel! We had a small wedding (17 guests) in The Cellar (Cooper Room) at the Wythe and the venue was was stunning, very classy and perfect for an intimate wedding. We are from Australia, so organising a wedding from a far can be complicated, but the event staff at the Wythe were exceptional. So easy to communicate with, answered our many questions, and the process from start to finish was very easy. Thanks JD, Mina and the team.
We cannot recommend the Wythe Hotel enough for your wedding. Everything from the food, the staff, to the recommended vendor list is outstanding. Our wedding day was seamless and stress-free! Pure magic. Thank you Wythe Hotel team!
We had our engagement party in the Penthouse Loft room and it was an overwhelming success. Our guests were blown away by the space, the staff were professional and everything was executed to perfection. Our event coordinators were thorough, professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this space for an engagement party.
We had an amazing wedding experience at the Wythe! Everyone we worked with on the planning side was so professional, thoughtful and flexible. We had our ceremony in the Cooper Room, took photos in the Garden Terrace, and had dinner and dancing in the Main Hall. All were great spaces for our 90 guests - the ceremony was very intimate and then there was plenty of room for dinner and dancing. Everyone was very complimentary of the food and drinks. Plus, we were able to host brunch the following day in the Bar Blondeau space where our guests enjoyed the Manhattan skyline views. Also, when you book at the Wythe, they share a lengthy list of preferred vendors. We literally found every other vendor we worked with on this list which was beyond helpful. We had an amazing time and are so grateful to everyone at the Wythe for their help!
We were married at the Wythe on 2/11/23, and we had an amazing experience. The entire team, especially Cassie, were very helpful and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. We had our ceremony in the Cooper Room - it was so dreamy and perfect! Our wedding had 75 guests, and our reception was held in the Main Hall. Because our wedding was on the smaller side, we were able to spread out the tables and leave a lot of room for the dance floor. We were also able to take advantage of the beautiful Garden Terrace space, where we took most of our family portraits! Our room in the Loft suite was gorgeous, and we really appreciated how accommodating the staff was with our dog Pepper! All of our guests raved about the food and drinks too. When we were first planning our wedding, the Wythe's recommended vendor list was super helpful. We actually wound up finding all of our vendors through this list! Highly recommend having your event at the Wythe!
I cannot say enough good things about the Wythe Hotel. We chose to have our wedding reception in the main hall (72 guests), and it was the perfect space for a winter wedding in New York City. From the amazing family style dinner (many guests commented that it was the best wedding food they've ever had!) to the curated signature cocktails - everything was perfect. Throughout the planning process, the staff at the hotel (Cassie, Abijah, and August, just to name a few) were extremely responsive and accommodating. On the night of our reception, the level of service far exceeded our already high expectations. It was truly a night to remember. We also stayed at the hotel for a few nights leading up to the wedding (along with many of our guests) - we highly recommend staying in one of the lofts (the city views alone make it worth it)! We highly recommend the Wythe Hotel for your wedding!!
We celebrated our wedding here in February 2023 with 70 guests. Our timeline was ~3 months from signing until the date of the wedding – and it was very low stress despite the short timeline!
Wythe Team - we worked with Cassie & Abijah & they were very easy to work with. They were professional, quick to respond to our questions, provided us recommendations, and were flexible. Our guests were impressed with the level of service the Wythe team provided the entire weekend.
Venue aesthetics - this was one of the primary reasons we booked this venue. We were looking for something that was elegant & luxurious while also having a simple, craftsmen, local/neighborhood vibe. The venue was a perfect combo of all. Because it was a winter wedding and we had 50% out of town guests, we were interested in hosting as many of our weekend events in one place to make it easier for guests to navigate w/ potential bad weather. We ended up booking the Ceremony in the Cooper Room, Reception in the Main Hall, After Party in the Screening Room, Next Day Brunch in Bar Blondeau (it had a beautiful view of Manhattan which wowed our guests). We took a pretty simple approach to entertainment/decorations for each - not much was needed as each of the spaces were already unique and had the vibe we wanted for each part of our festivities. There was an easy room block process - they also provided contacts at other hotels on the block in case we needed it.
Food & drinks - Agreed with other reviews. Absolutely delicious and we really liked the family style set up. Cake was included, which was one less vendor we needed to coordinate!
Vendor list - they provided a very thorough list of recommended vendors. This was one of our keys to planning ease in a short time frame! We ended up using the list to find all of our vendors and we were extremely satisfied with all. It made the planning process very smooth as all vendors were already familiar with the space and could provide us recommendations easily. Plus, they already had relationships on site and with other vendors we used.
Overall - we would highly recommend the Wythe to others who are looking. We loved the ease of the planning process + the combo of the luxury, laid-back, local feel. We live in the Williamsburg neighborhood, and it was the perfect place to welcome our family and friends to our neighborhood.
The Wythe was the perfect place for our wedding!
Throughout the planning process the in-house team was extraordinarily helpful - thank you Abijah, Cassie, and August!
For the event itself, we received so many compliments from guests about the venue, the food, and everything in-between. In our opinion, there is no better venue for an 80-100 guest wedding! We would strongly recommend hosting your wedding at the Wythe.
We simply cannot thank or recommend the Wythe enough. The entire team—Abijah, Cassie, Jimmy, Caroline, Mina, and more—put in over a year of hard work to make our wedding weekend not only go perfectly, but completely surpass our expectations.
We repeatedly said over the course of the planning process that choosing the Wythe was the best decision we made, and the result was further proof of that. A few highlights:
- The Wythe has an in-house event planning team that knows. their. stuff. In addition to the actual planning of the wedding, they went above and beyond by recommending disco ball vendors, after-party locations, and more, and even helped book them.
- In addition to the tour of the space, food tasting, and wedding, the Wythe welcomed us with open arms when we requested a series of additional tours: with our florist, with our parents, with our dog, or just to answer a battalion of questions. Even the host at the door learned our names and recognized us on visits.
- The space itself is perfect for a 100-person wedding. We used the courtyard for our ceremony, Main Hall for the reception, and Bar Blondeau for the morning-after brunch. It felt unique, intimate, and easy to settle into, and Williamsburg is an easy place for out-of-towners to navigate.
- The food and beverage package was spectacular. Being able to serve some all-time favorite dishes and specialty cocktails from the folks behind Le Crocodile at our wedding was a dream come true.
- Vendors *love* the Wythe as a venue, which is always a great sign. They have great relationships with one another and are able to do their best work.
- Being able to stay in a loft onsite also creates a great built-in place to get ready the day of and take first look photos.
- Our guests raved about the venue: the decor, the size, the proximity, the food, the staff, and the overall ambiance.
We could go on and on. Long story long, the Wythe completely exceeded our expectations. Our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as flawless or fun anywhere else.
The team at the Wythe, including Abijah, Cassie and our event captain, Ashley, made our wedding day seamless, special and unforgettable! From touring the spaces and my countless emails, the team was patient with all of my questions and helped make me completely comfortable leading up to the big day. Our day went even better than I had imagined! This was the ideal space for our small, intimate, yet classic, vision of under 30 guests. The views from the penthouse loft and balcony were gorgeous and the Cooper Room was a perfect way to end the night. To top it off, the food from Le Crocodile is amazing. Forever will be thankful to have picked the Wythe for our big day!
We had a beautiful wedding and reception of about 40 people in the Wythe's Penthouse and Cooper Room. The staff were wonderful -- very responsive and accommodating. We couldn't have picked a better venue!
The Wythe was the BEST place for a wedding. We did not stop getting compliments. From the moment we booked, Abijah, Cassie and the rest of the team made the whole process absolutely seamless. They were attentive, responsive and completely invested at every step of the way. We can't recommend them enough.
We had an amazing experience with the individuals at The Wythe Hotel for a rehearsal dinner in one of their private rooms on the lower level, catered by Le Crocodile. The team was responsive, helpful, flexible on timelines, and overall a pleasure with whom to work. The food was incredible and the vibe was exactly what we had wanted. We cannot recommend them enough! We had been to Le Crocodile plenty of times prior and will continue going back. We would not hesitate to plan an event with them again.
The Wythe Hotel is truly a special place to get married. The garden terrace is an amazing place for a ceremony and the reception area is truly one of a kind. We and the guests were amazed by the feel of the space and how well everything flows within the venue. From when we first went to look at the Venue to the end of our wedding night, the staff was incredibly helpful, generous, and professional. We would recommend the Wythe to all.
The Wythe went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible wedding. From day 1, Abijah and Cassie (as well as others!) were highly engaged and made the process very straightforward - from selection, contracts, hotel arrangements, etc.
On the wedding day, the venue was beautiful, the bar and food service were top notch (no lines at the bar for the whole day!). The tasting event is very fun as well and takes place at the Wythe. The suite on wedding day is absolutely gorgeous as well and great for pictures / first look. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to - and we can't thank the Wythe enough for a great day. Would 100% recommend them to anybody who wants a NYC wedding.
We had a small, 10 person micro wedding in both the Loft and Cooper Room. The Wythe was very involved in the planning and provided helpful suggestions to allow the day to go as smoothly as possible. Many people kept commenting how 'not stressed' I was on my wedding day, and that's largely because the team at the Wythe was so incredible! Shout out to JD, Cassie, and Jimmie who ensured our day was planned and executed extremely well. Even with a very small guest list, we felt that the Wythe made us a priority. The space is gorgeous so we didn't need to spend a lot of time or resources decorating. Food and beverages were wonderful too.
The Events team at the Wythe are all wonderful from start to finish. This is really saying something as we worked together with them for over two years, waiting out COVID. It was worth the wait to hold the best party ever. Bar Blondeau is beautiful, especially at sunset. The staff was professional and accommodating. The food was delicious and well presented. Our wedding celebration went smoothly and the after party we held in the Screening Room was a fun way to continue the party. I absolutely recommend the Wythe for your event.
I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. We had such a great experience at the Wythe and the venue and the staff were both outstanding. Cassie and JD were there every step up the way to answer any questions we had and helped us make sure we had the best night possible. All of our guests told us how seamless the whole ceremony and reception went. Definitely would recommend this to anyone getting married.
We had our wedding ceremony on the rooftop and a reception in the penthouse loft. The venue is spectacular. Everything was very well organized. The food was excellent and after the wedding all our guests kept commenting on the beautiful view as well as the amazing food (and desserts!). We wouldn't change anything about the day, we only wish that it didn't go by so quickly
End to end, working with the Wythe Hotel on this event was a great experience. Coordination with JD was flawless. She was extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we got the experience we wanted. We really appreciated the transparency the Wythe Hotel provided. No hidden costs and the hotel was very flexible. For instance, they allowed us to add a sound system/microphone last minute.
The actual event was executed perfectly. The hotel provided us with an Event Captain/Coordinator (Mina), who was phenomenal. She was a great communicator and helped us a ton with coordinating everything we needed. She was extremely professional and on top of every detail. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
All and all, really just a fantastic experience. From planning to execution it was easy, and the Wythe over-delivered on all of our expectations. Bravo!
We held our 10 year anniversary party and it was simply amazing. Cassie and JD worked with me over 6+ months to help bring the whole event together. The space was beautiful and service impeccable. Our guests were particularly complimentary of the food and service on the night.
We got married at the Wythe in July 2022 and it was nothing short of spectacular! The service, food, space, furniture—everything was absolutely perfect. Abijah, Cassie, and Mina were terrific to work with, and were by far the most responsive and professional people we encountered when we first began our venue search (we looked into 55(!) venues in and around NYC). On the day of, everything ran seamlessly and it's clear the entire team is made up of absolute pros. They were also really accommodating when we wanted to make changes to our menu. The main hall and garden spaces are stunning on their own and we liked that you didn't need to add much more decor. We also really liked that everything is in-house, but really high quality and beautiful—from the dinnerware to the chairs. Another thing that stood out to us early on is when our DJ mentioned how the Wythe is one of his favorite places to play because a lot of the staff has been there for awhile, which is always a good sign. We've been going to the Wythe since back when the upstairs bar was The Ides and Lemon's, so it was really wonderful to be able to get married there. For the quality and everything included, it feels like your money is going such a long way. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking to get married in NYC.
We had our wedding reception here a few weeks ago. It was an incredibly beautiful venue, and the food was amazing. We had a small event, so we were able to have it in the Cooper Room, which is a spectacular and classy. The decor was simple but tasteful. We loved that we could supply our own Spotify playlist for the music. I'm happy to forever have memories of our love immortalized there.
Our wedding at the Wythe was everything we hoped for and more and if you are looking for a stylish, stress-free, unforgettable event, book it! Abijah, Mina, August, and absolutely everyone at the Wythe made every aspect of our wedding weekend exceptional. From the kindness and attentiveness of the valets and front desk staff to the expert bartenders, servers, and staff, we--and all of our guests--felt exceptionally well taken care of. We had our rehearsal dinner at Bar Blondeau and the team outdid themselves, graciously accommodating a move indoors due to the heat and serving up a delicious feast and memorable evening outmatched only by the next day’s wedding festivities. The space was beautiful, the food amazing, and the service adept. They also took extra care of our elderly guests, some with mobility issues, to make sure they had everything they needed for a fun and safe time. Weeks later we are still hearing compliments about the event and the Wythe team and what an exceptional hotel stay, rehearsal dinner, and wedding it was. Highly recommend!
As a long time resident of Williamsburg, the Wythe Hotel has always been the place for special evenings. When it came time to plan our wedding, it was everything we were looking for - a beautiful space with an outdoor balcony overlooking the East River and Manhattan and excellent food and drinks. The team at the Wythe made the planning and event incredibly easy. They took care of every detail (except the ones we wanted to handle), making a stressful time stress-free. I wish we could do the day all over again!
Spectacular! We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding. We had full confidence in the Wythe from the get go (we even booked without ever having seen the space in person since we were out of town!) and we are so thrilled with the outcome. We had a relatively small wedding so we held both dinner and dancing was fully outside in the garden terrace. Dinner was intimate and special with tons of candles and it was so fun having the dance party outside. Our guests raved about the food with many saying it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! Abijah and Cassie were extremely responsive and accommodating. On top of just making sure everything went seamlessly they went above and beyond on several occasions. For example, they allowed us to bring in some traditional Romanian liquor for a toast which many venues would not allow and was very meaningful for us. They also allowed us to take our first look photos in Bar Blondeau before they opened which was a gorgeous setting. We could not recommend the Wythe more!
The Wythe was our first choice & we were so thrilled to book our preferred date! The sales team was very responsive & they make the whole process so easy. We wanted a venue that had as much in house as possible (we weren't interested in selecting things like tables & forks) & they were a great fit. The space has such character on its own & all the furniture & fixings were very much our style. We did a cocktail style reception & the varied seating options (couches & chairs + dining tables + high tops) suited us so well. The staff was always happy to coordinate a visit & really made the process so easy, straight forward & stress free. The tasting was a great experience and it was really hard to narrow down our options - all our guest were raving about the food (which is rarely the case at a wedding!). My only critic was the pace of the passed apps, as a cocktail reception I felt there was way too much lag time & so almost everyone wind up waiting in line for the carving station & sitting as if ti was a seated dinner. I suggest inquiring about this & preparing accordingly if that is what you're interested in.
Honestly, we knew we wanted to have our wedding at Wythe Hotel before we even got engaged. And it was even better than we could have imagined. The space is stunning, the food is delicious, and all of the staff we worked with was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. We got married over two weeks ago and guests are still reaching out about how absolutely they were blown away by Wythe. I could gush for days about our wedding, but if you go on a tour and speak with Abijah or Cassie, you'll see this all for yourself. Highly, highly recommend!
I can't say enough good things about our experience. Gorgeous venue, excellent food, amazing staff. Worth every penny. The event was seamless. Everything was so easy. They have standard packages, but they were happy to accommodate some of our out-of-the-box requests. They made us feel so special. Everyone kept asking where we found this awesome venue. It truly was a perfect event.
Amazing venue, it was the best decision we made. Nothing was stressful, we were able to navigate planning our wedding with the knowledge that Wythe had the important things covered. The venue, food and drink are exceptional, and we had many guests saying it was the best wedding they'd been to. It was definitely th day we'd dreamed of! Book them!!
Working with the Wythe for our wedding was so seamless and easy we had no regrets at all deciding to host our wedding there. The location was beautiful and having the retractable roofs for the ceremony space came in handy as it rained on our wedding. However, they created a great ambiance when they were closed so happy it worked out that way. The food was amazing and guests came up to us all night right the high quality and variation we had. All the staff there was extremely professional and had everything under control. Plus we got upgraded to the penthouse suite during our stay there which was just the cherry on top! If you are looking for a Brooklyn wedding, I'd highly recommend hosting it at the Wythe.
Not only is the venue full of character and elegant, but the staff were SO responsive and easy to communicate with! We were so lucky to work with the team at Wythe Hotel. My husband and I are definitely looking forward to eating there and staying overnight again soon because everything about our wedding day was perfection.
What can we even say about The Wythe and their incredible team who gave us a truly perfect wedding weekend? We are so thankful for Cassie, Abijah, Mina, and the entire staff (shout-out to Moses) for all they did for us on our wedding weekend, and throughout the entire time leading up to the wedding. Not only did they make our dream wedding come true down to every single conceivable detail (including ones that we wouldn't even have thought of), but they also made us feel completely taken care of as the planning process unfolded. We had a few changes as things progressed, and their willingness to be flexible with us was incredibly helpful and much appreciated.
Our guests absolutely loved all of the beautiful spaces—the main event room, the garden terrace, Bar Blondeau, and the downstairs Cinema—and of course the food was a HUGE hit. It was creative, beautifully-presented, and absolutely delicious. Our guests also noticed how incredible the Wythe staff is.
We could not have dreamed of a better wedding weekend, a better space, a better team to work with. If you're considering hosting your own wedding here, stop considering it and just say yes!
The Wythe is an incredible wedding venue. The team help to create a day that was better than we ever imagined. The staff at the Wythe were always so friendly and made us feel special. The day ran seamlessly without any issues and they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect (from the first look to the ceremony to the reception and the after-party). We had numerous comments from our guests about how incredible the food was. We cannot thank them enough!
As a bride and wedding vendor myself, I have worked at many venues in NYC and none have topped the professionalism and finesse that the Wythe Hotel offers for weddings. Not only is the space stunning, the food amazing (our guests told us it was some of the best food they had ever had), but the whole process was so smooth and lovely with such a quick and accommodating staff. The whole experience was just incredible. The hotel rooms were perfection, their bar is unreal, and the location is overall such a treat for out of town guests. Would pick the Wythe 100 times over!
The Wythe team was amazing and extremely helpful every step of the way through our wedding planning process! From the food to the staff, everything was incredible, and the new penthouse was fantastic!
