Lily, Dena, and the staff at Abbie Holmes Estate made our day as magical as we dreamed it would be. They all worked with my husband and I to ensure that we had everything we wanted/needed prior to and on our wedding day. They helped make everything absolutely perfect and helped to bring our dream wedding to a reality. I cannot say thank you enough!!!

Wow- there are not enough words to describe how truly amazing our experience was with Dena, Lily, and the rest of the staff at Abbie Holmes. From our consultation meetings, the tasting, the coordination between vendors, and everything else leading up to the wedding, they really helped to make our wedding dreams and vision come true. The food was top-notch and their decor is so unique and charming. The Abbie always felt like a home away from home to us and we knew this is where we wanted to start the rest of our lives at. I loved the Abbie so much that I wanted to change careers and work for them after my wedding- they are amazing!

The staff are wonderful, kind, helpful and professional - especially our coordinator Lily! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, comfortable, and perfect for photos. And the food is excellent! Planning our wedding felt like an impossible task until we chose to have our event here, then Lily walked us through the decisions on everything they provide and there were only a few outside details to take care of! And having Lily as our day-of planner was invaluable - I literally got to just show up and get dressed and she took care of EVERYthing. We had a winter wedding, so we used the event room for both the ceremony and the reception, and the house for the cocktail hour. There was PLENTY of space, everything went smoothly, and it was beautiful. Abbie Holmes gives you the perfect combination of fairy tale and comfort! I felt like I was at a friend's house, but also in a beautiful fairy tale.

We just had our wedding at Abbie Holmes this weekend and I cannot believe the outpouring of rave reviews that we have gotten from our guests of how amazing the venue, décor and food were from our very picky family and friends. Actually, I can because I knew that we'd have nothing less than a spectacular wedding there from the first moment we walked in. We immediately fell in love with the charm of the house as well as the beauty of the grounds, and once we met Dena we knew there was no way we would go anywhere else. To say she is amazing is a huge understatement! Dena saw to every detail of our wedding and brought it in for a price that was inconceivable to us, coming from NYC. From the florals she created to the quality of the food to the helpfulness of the staff nothing was short of perfection.

As a professional DJ-Emcee working at many venues in South Jersey, I can say without hesitation that Sue and her staff at Xenia Catering are among the best. They're friendly, helpful and very attentive to both their clients and third party vendors such as myself. The Abbie Holmes Estate is a beautiful historic setting. Combining the charm and ambience with great food and service, this is definitely a wonderful option. It's close to the shore, but just far enough away from the crowds to offer the convenience of ample parking and spacious grounds, tents, gazebos and other features throughout the estate. Just amazing!! Stumbled upon this place based on a recommendation and so happy we did!! Sue and Dena and the entire staff were very helpful and welcoming during the whole wedding process as soon as we saw it we fell in love ! The place is beautiful and has so many hidden areas the covered chapel , the side veranda patio and the beautiful lighted ceiling ballroom the firepit in the back . The tastings are so much fun and the food is beyond superb!!

Abbie Holmes is the best! The are VERY easy to work with, include so much in their package, have indoor and outdoor options, and are very flexible. I would HIGHLY recommend Abbie Holmes for any event. Sue was great to work with and put together my dream wedding! The land is beautiful, the outdoor ceremony area is beautiful and the grand room is beautiful! They can take care of all your center pieces, decorations, flowers for you! If they have it they will let you use it. I would highly recommend Abbie Holmes!

Nothing could have prepared me for how wonderful Dena and the staff of Xenia Catering at Abbie Holmes Estate were to work with. The Abbie Holmes Estate, which includes the outdoor Springhouse Chapel, is a beautiful and unique place and we felt and still feel so fortunate to have gotten married there. It's a hidden gem! Dena was born to be doing what she does. She really understood the vision for our wedding. Anything I couldn't tell her specifically because of the last minute business of wedding planning, she somehow just knew and made the wedding of our dreams a reality! The food is amazing and diverse and the each member of the staff I interacted with was also a delight. Their prices are also reasonable. You will be in good hands if you choose to have your wedding at Abbie Holmes Estate.

We were so happy that we chose The Abbie Holmes Estate for our wedding this July 2018. It’s a hidden gem with delicious food, great service and unique farmhouse vintage decor. Everyone was so helpful and we had the best time. I would highly recommend the venue and Xenia Catering, their onsite catering company to anyone in the South Jersey area!

The best decision we made while planning our wedding was choosing the Abbie Holmes Estate! They truly went above and beyond throughout the whole process with assistance. Sue, Dena, and the whole staff at Abbie where absolutely amazing. The venue is so beautiful and the service was outstanding.

Every idea I had was brought to life and every detail was perfection. The food was amazing and plenty of it! I had my wedding at the Abbie Holmes Estate in September of 2017 and the experience could not have been better. During the wedding planning process my fiance and I were living in Ohio due to being in the military. Dena and I planned the whole wedding through email and she was absolutely amazing. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed even though it was stressful being 9 hours away. She was able to handle ordering all of our flowers and made things super simple for us. The venue itself is perfectly set up. We utilized their onsite ceremony space which was gorgeous and helped cut down on the amount of time guests spent traveling. All of the staff were super helpful and attentive during cocktail hour and once the reception started everyone had a great time dancing on their dance floor. The layout of their ballroom is perfect and between the dance floor, the bar, and an outdoor space with a fire pit there really is something for everyone to do. It was evident that all of our guests had a great time and I truly couldn't have asked for a better wedding.

This was by far the best decision we made in choosing a wedding venue. Abbie Holmes is incredible, and the staff is so kind and hospitable. Dena, the wedding coordinator, was a dream to work with. Every idea I had was met with enthusiasm, and she even enhanced those ideas with her own suggestions without being pushy. She was extremely intuitive and went above and beyond to make our wedding day feel magical. This place has amazing food, is cost-efficient(hello BYOB), and has that old-world Victorian charm. Every room has something new to explore, and it has character without feeling pretentious or over-the-top. My guests still talk about how great our wedding was and it was two months ago. I could go on and on. Abbie Holmes was everything we wanted and more! You will not regret choosing this place as your wedding venue.

I honestly do not know where to begin because this venue was by far, the best decision I could have made. When I started to look around for my venue I did tons and tons of research. Luckily, I went to view this place and immediately fell in love. When I brought my husband and the rest of the family, they too fell in love. The charm of this place is beyond amazing. Before getting married, we were able to go and have numerous tastings, which in itself was such a fun experience. We had wanted to get married outside and Abbie Holmes has a beautiful outdoor chapel that just fit us. Sue, the owner, was by far the easiest person to work with. She truly made our wedding day from the extra details she put into my center pieces, to the fine details on the outside porch, to the water and ice tea guests received upon arrival, to the arrangement of the ballroom and ensuring each and every guest was happy. I have to say that Abbie Holmes exceeded my expectation. Each and every worker was beyond nice and helpful. Sue allowed us to drop off all of our wedding stuff the week before, allowed us to come in early the day of, and even did all of my flowers inside and outside of the venue! Not only is this a wonderful family owned and operated place, but Sue and her daughter have an eye for creating such memorable and beautiful events. If I thought it couldn’t get better, it did. Sue was the cook and made each and every meal at the wedding. I had 115 guests and each and every person raved over the food. I truly cannot say enough good things about Abbie Holmes Estate and my husband and I are beyond happy that we were able to find such a beautiful place to get married. Because of the workers, the charm and the detail, our wedding day was perfect. Not once was I stressed because Sue and her daughter made sure that everything I could have ever wanted was perfect. There was not one thing missing and not one thing that went wrong that day. I am beyond grateful to have found this perfect place and to have been married at such a terrific venue.

Dena and the entire team at Abbie Holmes are incredible! I loved working with them from start to finish and am genuinely going to miss wedding planning with them! I fell in love with Abbie Holmes right away. It is so naturally and uniquely beautiful, charming, and enchanting. For me, it is literally a fairytale of a place, I just love it so much. Dena is so lovely, and I don't know how she is so calm and easy-going, but she always managed to dissipate any nerves or stress I felt. She was so accommodating, helpful, and just overall awesome to work with. Last but not least, the food was amazing. Appetizers, salads, entrees; everything was perfectly on point. So many of my guests said that it was the best wedding they've ever been to - this huge compliment is all because of Dena and the staff at Abbie Holmes. I never had any doubts about choosing Abbie for our wedding, they made me feel like family and I have so much love for everyone there!

I could write a book about our wonderful experience with Dena and Abbie Holmes Estate! From the first day we were made to feel so special. Dena truly is the best. She takes your vision and makes it happen, all with a smile and calm demeanor. The whole crew is fabulous! The food was delicious, the estate was gorgeous, the service was seamless, it was perfect! Our guests raved about the whole night. We our so happy we choose this venue. It is the best!

Sue went above and beyond our expectations. She was so helpful during the entire process. We had our ceremony on site and it was a great location for all of our photos. The set up for the cocktail hour was so unique and memorable. For our reception, we loved that we could do family style dinner. Sue did our centerpieces and they turned out fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding.

I had my wedding at the Abbie Holmes Estate in May 2016, and it was a great experience! Many of my guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to! If you like the vintage look this is definitely a place worth checking out. The owner Sue was very personable and you can meet with her as many times as you feel necessary to your planning. They have a lot of different items on hand which you can use (assortment of vases, candles, etc.) for decor. They also did my flowers (besides bouquets) and they were gorgeous and so affordable! Another plus is that this location is also BYOB. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day and it was nice to be able to relax and know that the awesome staff was taking care of all the details!

Abbie Holmes Estate exceeded my expectations. They did an excellent job for our wedding on 8-30-2014.The food was fantastic and the presentation was very impressive. I continue to receive compliments from our friends and colleagues who attended.

The Abbie Holmes Estate was an ideal selection for our wedding venue in May 2014. Off the beaten path on Route 9, sits a beautiful 1820's farm house that was able to accommodate our 200 guests for a delicious cocktail hour and dinner with exceptional elegance, attention to detail, and unforgettable ambience. We were so pleased with the staff and how they brought our dreams into reality. We wouldn't change a thing....I just wish we could do it again because we had such a wonderful time!

My reception turned out to be a dream because of this venue and the wonderful staff. The food and service were really amazing, and I loved that I was able to be creative with the menu and the drinks. They were very good at getting back to me very promptly, and their coordinator was such a help with having my vision come together.

We cannot say enough about Xenia Catering at the Abbie. The food was delicious, the presentation was amazing, the staff was so genuine and wonderful and their Abbie Holmes Estate is breath taking. The farmhouse was decorated beautiful and completely customized to our liking....down to the shepherd hooks with hanging mason jars with flowers. Our wedding coordinator, Dena, was one of the nicest people we ever met. It was a joy to discuss our wedding details with her and we are going to miss her. She made our wedding everything we ever expected and more. They cannot disappoint!

The Abbie Holmes Estate was such a great choice for my wedding ceremony and reception. It is a beautiful victorian style house with a gorgeous chapel outside that is brand new. The quaint rooms and front porch were perfect for the cocktail hour and fit everyone with plenty of room to spare, (140 ppl). The staff is wonderful and the food was fantastic! I would not have changed a thing! The owners are great and were so very helpful with everything I needed from questions to suggestions about vendors, flowers choices, and colors, etc. I was honestly so happy with our decision to have our wedding at The Abbie. I definitely recommend this place to other fellow brides! :)

The Abbie Holmes Estate staff will make all your wedding dreams come true. They are willing and able to make any idea possible for your special night. Many of our guests have complimented on the venue, the decor and the food as being one of the best weddings they have been to.

First of all, the location is incredible and so different from every other wedding location in South Jersey. Beautiful estate house, and you get the whole house, for the whole day. We spent the day getting ready there. Dena and the staff at Abbie Holmes were so helpful and accomodating. I wasn't really worried about any of the details. The price included the ceremony location and decorations, the reception location. the place settings, center pieces the food, even valet parking. If I could plan the whole wedding over, I would chose Xenia at the Abbie Holmes Estate again!
