I can't say enough good things about our rehearsal dinner on the Yacht StarShip. From the beginning, Wendy, was wonderful in assisting with narrowing down the room to rent to promptly answering all the questions I had. Once we were about a month out, Amelia, became our contact person. She as well was a pleasure to deal with and assisted us in all the small details I envisioned. The day of our event the weather was cloudy, sprinkling, with some wind. I was a mess but the staff offered a calming presence reassuring me the evening would turn out beautiful...and it did! Our two servers were attentive to our timeline, turned down the music when the speeches were given, and overall provided us with a flawless evening. The Pilot room is beautiful with all its windows. If you are looking for a venue that is different with a top-notch staff, I would highly suggest booking the Yacht Starship! Our guests were not bothered by the weather and only commented on what a wonderful time they had. Thank you Yacht StarShip for providing us with a memorable event that we will look back on fondly!

The Knot only allows for a certain number of characters so my full review is published on Wedding Wire. I got married at the end of December of 2023, and it has taken me until the end of March of 2024 to be able to sit down and write a review because of how upset I still am. Despite the reviews, our coordinator was awful. Not only did she have me so stressed on my wedding day I was crying, but because she was so uncoordinated, disorganized and did not communicate with us in a timely manner, nor did she communicate with our vendor (like our cake which was delivered to the wrong ship and caused our wedding ceremony to be delayed an hour), she caused me and my husband a lot of stress. She did not listen to what I wanted when setting up the decor and instead my bridal party spent a lot of time when we got on the ship setting everything up the right way (which was frustrating given I had walked our coordinator through everything at the rehearsal). Due to her lack of preparation, we spent an hour's worth of sailing time and money sitting at the dock doing nothing waiting for our cake when we could've just moved the ceremony up and done a dockside wedding. The DJ played the wrong walk out song, we didn't have time now after photos to do a cake cutting ceremony, speeches that were prepared, or a champagne toast. We wanted to do a send-off ceremony but when we pulled back up to the docks (I was on the top deck) no announcement was made and instead my guests were rushed off and I didn't get the chance to thank anyone for coming or say goodbye. Overall, the lack of communication was awful and could have been handled way more efficiently which would have avoided a lot of stress. The crew was polite and treated us well. My guests said the food was good, but my husband and I will never step foot on Yacht Starship again, not even to celebrate our anniversary as we had hoped to do before all of this went down. I will never recommend them to any bride and groom to be, because this in the end, was the biggest waste of money.

I had my wedding at Yacht Starship last weekend and it was amazing! The music, food, atmosphere, drinks, and customer service were incredible. I am so thankful to the entire Yacht Starship team for helping me make my dreams come true.

We got married on Yacht Starship IV out of Clearwater Beach and our wedding day was absolutely incredible. Everything went so perfect and smooth. Joey, our venue coordinator was phenomenal down to every detail and keeping things running smoothly. We can't thank him enough for taking care of us on our day. The other staff and Dj Pharaoh were also incredible. We have heard from family and friends that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! We cannot thank them enough for making it so special for us. 

When we were searching for venues our primary concern was getting the most out of our budget. Most venues cost $5,000 just to rent the room before you do anything to it. What we really appreciated about Yacht Starship in the convenience and value. They handled every detail from start to finish and pretty much the only things we had to worry about ourselves was the personal touches; dresses, suits, cake, etc. Yacht Starship took care of the bigger things like catering, DJ, bar package, wedding coordinator, etc included in the cost. We could not find that value anywhere else. It was also so meaningful to be married on the Hillsborough River by the same company that owns the Pirate Taxis from our first date. We heard so many positive comments about our guests saying the Taste of Tampa buffet was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Truly a magical day.

We would definitely recommend The Yacht Starship for your wedding. The wedding coordinator Joey was absolutely fantastic! He made sure everyone was taken care! Starship truly did everything for us and planning was a breeze. A lot of things we didn’t have to worry about and the things they weren’t able to provide like a photographer they had an amazing list of recommendations. We truly want to thank starship and we will definitely be back on their dinner cruises.

Joey helped us arrange our reception in March 2023 and it was amazing. Our wedding was well organized, the food was great, and all our guests couldn't stop raving about what a great time they had. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering.

Initially, I was thrilled to book with starship! There's no others like it... Where else can you say you got married on a boat? unfortunately, hindsight, I wish I would've booked with a different venue. after all, they didn't even take the boat out of the channel, so in every single one of my wedding photos, there's a building in the background I was under the impression during my initial walkthrough we would be making it out to the bay. That was the first disappointment. secondly, I was promised a wedding coordinator three months out from the wedding. Well that didn't happen and they blamed it on being busy from the "holiday season", but I didn't get to speak to my coordinator until about six weeks out. So if you're a planner please keep that in mind. When I did finally get to speak with a coordinator, we had about an hour long conversation, going over all the details. Afterwards he emailed me a copy of our conversation with notes stating how I wanted my decorations and all the fine details. I'm not a bridezilla. I didn't want any extravagant decorations, I simply wanted flowers. that's literally all I wanted... and guess what the one thing my coordinator wouldn't let on the boat the day of the wedding, MY FLOWERS! I spent hours and hours picking out my flowers. I spent hundreds of dollars!! I'm literally gutted to this day about them not being on the tables and it's been weeks. Remember how I mentioned he emailed me notes on our talk? well there in plain sight on the paper in his handwriting it says "organic- day of delivery " which was his reasoning for why my aunt and friend couldn't put out the flowers because apparently I told him they would be fake And they couldn’t bring on fresh flowers the day of?! Thankfully, my aunt put her foot down and was able to get at least our sweetheart table covered with some greenery so not all the photos look like we had our wedding in a cafeteria. I wish I could say that was the worst part- it was not, the way the rest of the staff treated us fall in line with the coordinator, with the exception of a few. again, referring back to the notes emailed, we were informed we would have 15 minutes to clear off the boat after the wedding. We went out to do our "sendoff", and when my sister, aunt and friends came back to clean off the boat the staff had THROWN OUR WEDDING PRESENTS AND CARDS OVER THE FENCE . along with guests purses and decorations. They also "misplaced" our guests wedding favors that were out by the dance floor when we went to do the send off. The favors were lotto tickets in bags that said enjoy the riches from the the new Mr. & Mrs. - all mysteriously gone! This might be an assumption but there's no doubt in my mind the employees took them while we were doing the send off, because stuff like that doesn't end up in the trash or go missing... finally, I'd like to mention the technical errors with our sound/music. You see my husband, and I didn't want to do vows in front of our friends and family to keep them private, so our first dance was supposed to be a really intimate moment and our version of vows. Guess which song they couldn't get to play? Yup, our first dance ruined. Did they test it ahead of time? it was so awkward us standing up there in silence that a guest yelled out "want me to sing?" the song never played, we sat back down. so awkward. Then when the pastor and our parents went to speak the mic wouldn't work and the guest couldn't hear them Over the boat.

Our wedding was everything and more than we imagined it would be. I'm so happy that we went with the Starship as our venue. We had our wedding on the Starship IV Clearwater Beach and it was so beautiful and a perfect set up for 75 people. Our coordinator was Amelia, DJ was Paul, and Captain was Brennan. We could not of had a better staff. Amelia stuck to the timeline and made sure everything ran seamless. For us, 5 hours was the perfect amount of time for our wedding and order of events. The staff was nice, and everyone had an amazing time. Plus, the food was incredible, and DJ Paul got everyone on the dance floor. If you are looking for something inclusive, different, and organized - pick this venue! We will never forget this day!

There is no way we could have pulled off having a wedding three months after we were engaged without the StarShip. They took so much of the heavy lifting off of our hands, made your part of the planning super simple, and best of all our guests had a very unique experience!! We also utilized the next door Sparkman Wharf for a rehearsal dinner location so we didn’t have to be running all around town. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Unique, simple, fun and great staff.

Rachel is very professional!! She's patient, but time will not be wasted. She listens to the needs and desires of the bride and groom. Rachel gave us updates on who had not made it on the yacht yet and made sure the yacht did not move until the bride and groom gave the okay. The 4 hours go by quickly, so we needed someone like her to make sure things flowed smoothly. Our guests had a great time. From the beginning of the entire process to the end, everything was a pleasant experience.

We hosted our wedding on their cruise. It was great experience, food was very tasty, organization was amazing, very affordable comparing to other venues. Definitely recommend!

My daughter and fiancé was married on the Yacht Starship. It was a unique and beautiful venue. Rachel was the wedding coordinator and we appreciated the follow through that she gave every detail from the beginning to end. The ship's crew was so attentive and helpful throughout the night. We would highly recommend the Starship as a great place to host a wedding.

We had the best time ever Chris, Vinnie and the crew were outstanding right down to every detail!!! We will be back and do will everyone else in the cruise… I couldn’t have asked for anything more Chris went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed!!!! Lynda Sawyer

Wow! Words are hard to find for this amazing venue! Their service from start to finish was incredible! I’m so glad we picked Yacht StarShip!

My wedding was everything my husband and I wanted it to be. Eric, our Yacht StarShip Event Coordinator, and his team were amazing before and during the event. He helped with all the little things: glue for my cake topper, helped my bridesmaids with my bussel, asked me questions when he needed my direction during the event, taught us how to slice the cake (and other wedding things), and things I am not even aware of. He also kept us on schedule. We were also able to hire vendors to assist my dad up and down the stairs. Food and drink were included in the package. The DJ was spectacular (also included). Yacht StarShip is the full package.

Yacht Starship IV is the best wedding venue! We were originally supposed to be married on a cruise ship but once that was canceled several times we decided to look for a different venue. I came across the yacht and it was so much better than I could have ever imagined. Rachel was our planner and she is amazing! I can be very picky and she handled all of my questions and needs with grace! She helped me pick the extra rentals and decor to bring my vision to life. The entire staff was extremely friendly and professional throughout the entire experience of planning and the event itself. The food was delicious, the bar kept up with our crazy guests, and the DJ had everyone dancing and signing the whole charter! I can not recommend or thank the company/venue enough. It was such a unique and fun place for our wedding!

We had a small wedding (covid) but we chose to host a one year party for all of our friends. We rented a private room on the dining cruise for us and 30 friends and had such a fantastic time! The staff was so attentive and everyone wished us congratulations. Our friends loved the food and the drinks flowed freely! Samantha and Veda were so helpful with all of our requests. It was a very fun and celebratory experience. Would recommend to other couples looking to celebrate!

Such a magical time! I recently had my wedding on the Yacht Starship II and it was absolutely the best time! Both Cheyanne and Eric were completely helpful with planning the event. The staff were friendly, the DJ is amazing, the food was delicious, the bartender top notch and the overall look of the yacht is beautiful! I highly recommend Yacht StarShip Cruises & Events for anyone who is having a wedding in the area. The views are spectacular! Hands down the best experience, especially with friends and family. The venue is unique and overall a fun time!

We had our wedding on the Yacht Starship IV and it was incredible start to finish. I was a corona bride who downsized from a huge 175 person wedding in Arizona to a 50 person wedding on the boat. All of our guests had a blast (and are healthy, thank goodness). I can't say enough good things about our wedding planner Chris, who handled everything and took care of anything I needed. The food is incredible, the dj was a blast, the captain did a great job with our ceremony. Everyone at our wedding had a blast, and we would recommend the boat to anyone and everyone!

We replanned the wedding in approximately 2 weeks because our original plans in a different city all got canceled. Starship was so easy to work with, flexible because so many things were changing with little notice, and had a coordinator to help us with everything we needed. They made our wedding seamless!

Working with everyone with this venue has been amazing. They make things so easy for my wedding coming up. They are always there to answer any questions I have at any point in time.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was exactly as we requested. Christine and her team went above and beyond making our wedding not only memorable, but flat-out gorgeous. The captain, the DJ, the servers, the bartenders... top-notch.

We just had our wedding at Yacht StarShip before Christmas. It was an absolutely fantastic experience! The staff was super helpful and accommodating to our requests. More importantly, they helped with decoration, vendor and guest logistics so we didn't need to worry about anything on our big day. The view was awesome! For the four hours of cruising along the canal and back to the Bay, we got to have the stunning sunset and city skyline behind us for pictures and for our guests to enjoy. Our wedding pictures turned out very cool and exciting. Last but not least, the price was very reasonable given their great services. Overall, we highly recommend this venue to host your wedding.

My husband and I could not have asked for more from our venue. Lydia, Chris, and the entire YachtStarship crew helped to created an easy, seamless experience. With a lot of out-of-town guests, their recommendations were spot-on, and we could not ask for a better overall experience for our guests!

I loved everything about our venue and the team that helped out our wedding together. The down side was the time I felt like everything was rushed and we were only allowed a total of 5hours for ceremony and reception.

I held my engagement party on their Yacht from Tampa. The engagement was a traditional Arab party with Arabic music and some other traditions. They were SO accommodating, SO friendly, SO organized. I have NOTHING negative to say about my experience. All I have are great, stress free memories from that night. Every single staff member made my feel so special and they really go out of their way for you. I am so happy I held my party on their yacht.

We just had our son's rehearsal dinner on Yacht Starship. I live in New Hampshire, so planning an event from such a distance began as an intimidating experience...until I connected with my Sales Rep Laura. She made every detail so easy and was incredibly attentive. Our event coordinator Eric was also a dream to work with and decorated the Pilot Room so beautifully that it took my breath away. The food was delicious, the wait staff super attentive, and the entire evening was so much fun. Best of all, the Bride and Groom were very happy, so what more could a mom want? Highly recommend.

We had our wedding reception on the Starship this past Labor Day Weekend. Everything was perfect! Working with Wendy and Amanda was such an easy process to make sure we covered every detail for our 200+ guests. We were really worried about everyone not being able to eat in the same room but the way they organized the timeline and floorplan, nobody really noticed. Everyone is still raving about how delicious the food was! Their staff deserves 5 stars for hospitality because they literally treated us like royalty. This was worth every single dollar we spent and we are so thankful for such an incredible, memorable reception! Also, for any brides that are looking for an all inclusive/low stress reception, this is the best decision you will ever make!

Planning a wedding from Texas to Florida was “smooth sailing”. We could not have chosen a better venue. The ENTIRE process was a success due to the professional, helpful, knowledgeable service we were given! Our wedding was more than we ever thought it would be. The food was wonderful & tasty. Our wedding on the Yacht Starship IV was everything we ever wanted and more for our big day! From working with Lydia to book our date and wedding package, to then working with Chris for all of our wedding preparations and wedding day timeline, they made our entire experience run smoothly. I had my wedding brunch the day after my wedding on the StarShip. This was a great experience for all of my guests. I only gave a four star because of some of the commitments made during the planning process were not exact as we got closer to my date. I think better communication could have resolved some of these issues, but it did make things stressful. The staff on the ship were great and everything was Amazing the day of the event. I would book another event, I would definitely try to extend the time because it just went way too fast.

A yacht is the perfect venue for an unforgettable wedding and the StarShip staff is the perfect crew. They are very attentive and they don't miss a beat. They are detail-oriented and care about pleasing the bride and groom. Would book them again in a heartbeat!

I just got married to my wonderful husband on 08/18/18. From start to finish the wedding went absolutely wonderful. I initially booked with wedding sales manager Lydia S. Who was wonderful. I was then assigned a great coordinator by the name of Amanda who assisted me with all my needs. All of the staff were very curtious and accomondating. My guests were well taken care of at all times. I had nothing but great reviews from all of my guests. I am definately satisfied with everything. Thank you starship yacht!

Wow! This exceeded our expectations. The only negative about having our wedding with Yacht Starship was that we didn’t want to get off! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect, intimate wedding. This place really makes all the extra efforts. Everything was flawless and well planned. The food was amazing and the music perfect. What a wonderful way to start a marriage! I am constantly getting compliments on how perfect the wedding was.

When you plan a wedding, stress levels are bound to get high. When the wedding is a surprise, as ours was, that stress level can get through the roof. But in the hands of the extremely capable Yacht Starship wedding coordinator (Chris D.) DJ (Will) and the attentive staff, we were stress free and the evening was better than we had imagined. When we were assigned Chris as our coordinator, we felt we had a parter and planner more than coordinator. She’s attentive, and will help you readily with any questions or weird requests (like not letting the guest know they’re coming to a wedding!). Other highlights included the food, which frankly was better than we had expected, and of course the gorgeous sunset. Our only hiccup was that we had the captain perform our ceremony (a $400 upcharge), which we had written. It was clear he had not read through it prior, and there were some obvious missteps on his part. Thankfully, my husband and I knew the vows well, and were able to recover where he fell. All in all- highly recommended for an intimate wedding with excellent views, and an above average crew! Can’t wait to go back for our one year anniversary!

How do I even begin? Our wedding on 1/6/18 on the Yacht Starship was simply amazing. We didn’t want to have to deal with a million vendors so the first appeal was having a one shop stop of sorts. The package included everything except the florist, photographer and cake. So easy! The second appeal is how unique the venue is. Our out of state guests loved being on the water in January and it was beautiful. Amanda, our planner, is simply the best! She was easy to reach, answered all of our questions and accomadated our needs. The wedding day went smoothly because of her ability to keep us on time while also making sure we were enjoying ourselves. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Yacht Starship makes our dream come true! I had my most memorable moment on Sensation ship with my beloved wife. I also wanna say Christine the wedding coordinator is a really wonderful person. You will be lucky to have her on your wedding. Also my appreciation to Lydia.

They made it easy! We had a small wedding ~55 people and I didn't want to be stuck in a small room with no windows or dance floor. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful venue (boat and boat ride). Most importantly they made planning the wedding from a distance easy! The food was great, the DJ was included and wedding planner Amanda was detail oriented and ready to help.

My husband and I were married aborad the Starship Sensation and from the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff was excellent. They walked us through the entire process several times and were very patient and helpful. The food was excellent, they worked there magic with our decour to make our wedding even more memorable. I would highly recommend the yacht starship sensation and our amazing wedding planner Amanda to anyone who asked.

We were married on the yacht sensation out of Clearwater in October 2017. Perfect wedding ! Nothing short of amazing ! The entire staff and crew were wonderful ! My wedding planner Chris was so patient and kind and made everything so easy and perfect for us . She responded quickly to every email or call through the entire planning process, she took care of everything for the rehearsal and she was my rock on the day of the wedding !!! Never missed a beat ! The whole process is very well organized and takes so much stress of the bride . The wedding day was flawless .

What a magical, unforgettable wedding. Throughout our planning, Christine, Wendy, and the Yacht Starship staff were always in touch and quick to reply, as well as accommodating any and all requests we had. We had about 100 guests and felt it was the perfect size--intimate yet spacious. On our wedding, day, we cannot say greater things--the day was PERFECT. The food was amazing, the staff attentive and anticipatory, and DJ Dave met all our requests and kept everyone rocking throughout the evening! Moreover, all of our guests also commented on how unique and memorable the setting was, and how great the food, staff, and party were. We would give the utmost positive recommendation to the Yacht Starship for planning your own wedding. Thanks again!

Just wonderful! We were married on the Starship I on October 8, 2017. Although we had a smaller guest count (around 50,) we needed the larger yacht for ADA access (has an elevator!) We were on a public cruise, but had the boat to ourselves before and after the wedding, in addition, of course, to the private dining room. Our guests absolutely raved about the fantastic food, and in many, many cases that it was the best time they had had at a wedding! From our initial contact with Wendy, to our wedding coordinator Brittany (she is the absolute best!!!) through the food and beverage staff and the wonderful D.J., we had nothing but a fantastic experience. The vendors we chose through them were equally as great! They have their weddings down to a science... we are so happy we chose Yacht Starship!

Everything was great! All of our guests enjoyed themselves and we couldn't have been more happier. Chris was our coordinator and she did a wonderful job with our decorations and keeping everything on track.

We could not have asked for a better place to become husband and wife. We truly enjoyed our wedding and our guests had a blast too. Chris, Wendy, and everybody at StarShip were amazing.
