Our daughter Erin lives locally and chose Young Floral in Charleston for her wedding flowers. We met with Christy and she listened to every detail Erin wanted while also making good suggestions to stay within our budget.
All of the flowers for herself, the family, and the wedding party were beautiful. Thank you Christy and Young Floral for making the day so special!

I couldn’t of been happier with my bouquets and boutineers. They were absolutely beautiful. The florist was very receptive to my input. I put in my order 3 months before and had no problem getting it on time. I’d definately go with them again. The price was great too. For 4 bouquets and 6 boutineers was less than $450!!! One of the lowest prices I found in the area.
I wrote a review before but Young had it removed because they apparently didn't like the negative feedback. I was in a wedding in October where they did the flowers and they were HORRIBLE. The flowers were dying, wilted, brown around the edges. According to the bride the owner said something about making the arrangements earlier in the week already which is probably why they looked that way. The colors they used were totally wrong and not at all what the bride had wanted. Minutes before walking down the aisle they did come and swap out some flowers in the brides bouquet at least to try and make it look a little better.
I met with three different florists and Heather, at Young Floral was the only florist who put together flowers for me to see so it was easier for me to envision what I liked or didn't. Heather is so nice, sweet and helpful! She was always available to talk to me and met with me several times. Words can't explain how beautiful all of my flowers turned out the day of the wedding. We had planned on getting married outside and using Young's arch, but it rained, so we moved the ceremony inside. Because we didn't need the arch, Heather made us a beautfil arrangement for the mantle inside. She did this all the morning of the wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous. She also did some special touches with my corsages and bouquets. My bouquet was more than I ever imagined.
Heather from Young's is so helpful throughout the entire process! She will do anything to help you and stays aware of the budget you are working with. She helps you find ways to get what you want without spending the amount most places would charge.
Heather at Young's Flower Shop does a Fantastic job with creating beautiful wedding boquets. She helped me by giving me some ideas on ways to create my own centerpieces and they tied in so well with the boquets I had her make. She was so friendly and easy to work with!
As one of the only tasks that I let out of my hands, I am very pleased to say that the flowers looked wonderful. I (practically) left this task up to my mom and Heather (at Young’s), and they really pulled it off.
I had given Heather a few photos of flowers from magazines that I liked, and she was able to pair that ‘look’ with our budget and needs, and made it work!
My mom and I ended up ordering vases, pearls, and ribbon, online (to save on cost– we were able to purchase them for about 1/3 the cost of the rental). We put together these 30 vases ourselves and then let Heather plop in the flower arrangements the day of.
Flowers, in general, were a little higher in cost then I expected, but being able to leave this task up to Young’s was a wonderful relief the day of the wedding. They came, set up, and delivered everything in a timely, and very quite beautiful manner.
I worked with Heather to create my dream wedding. She carefully listened to all of my detailed plans and did a wonderful job pulling it altogether to make the wedding a hit! The accents for the ceremony stole the show and the centerpieces at the reception were remarkable. She is flexible, very creative, and most of all she puts her heart and soul into making her projects a success. Her work on the floral portion of the wedding was probably one of the most beautiful details of the whole day.
I had a wedding budget that I was trying to work within and Youngs was able to accomodate my budget as well as deliver a wedding that I know all of my friends will be talking about for years! The pictures I have with my wedding looking marvelous due to the beautiful flower arrangements through the wedding are priceless. Youngs is locally owned and the family is wonderful. They met with me several times prior to the ceremony and showed me samples of flowers that would be used and showed me ideas and came up with things that I could have never imagined on my own. The flowers themselves were absolutely breath-taking and I have had endless compliments on them! Great quality and service, flowers were beautiful!
