Kathy was my daughter’s wedding planner. She took off such a weight off of my shoulders! As a Mother of the Bride you want to make sure all of their dreams of their wedding day come to fruition. Kathy made was so friendly and took on so much that I had very little to do except doing all of the fun stuff with my daughter! I would highly recommend Kathy as your wedding and event planner!

Kathy is a great person and wedding planner. Our reception was "nontraditional" due to the pandemic and a surprise/unwelcome cancer diagnosis. The reception ended up being held on our two-year anniversary. Even though we had hired her prior to everything when we first got engaged, she was compassionate and understanding about our need to delay and be flexible. She helped us navigate that and always worked at 110% to bring our vision to life in its adapted form. Kathy listened to every part of our vision and requests (broadcast the derby?... "yes, let's do that!" Serve mint juleps?... "How fun!" Skip the traditional wedding cake?... "great idea. Let's save a ton of money by buying sheet cakes and serving it straight from the kitchen!" and so on.) She brought all of our visions to life, and our guests have told us that it was the best wedding that they have ever attended. We are so grateful!

Kathy was an amazing wedding planner! I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a stress free dream wedding. She helped me plan during the craziest part of the pandemic. She has many friends and connections in the wedding industry. She knows how to budget and she’s willing to go the extra mile to save you money. Kathy was my wedding planner and my florist. We picked out the flowers together and she made all my arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnières. Everything was beautiful and we saved so much money. Kathy was a tremendous help and support during our wedding planning. We had to change our wedding multiple times due to covid and the pandemic. Kathy helped guide us through the communication, contracts and all the bumps along the way. This was unlike a year any of us have ever had, and Kathy helped make it move as smooth as it could have.

Kathy and her team did a great job on our wedding day. I didn't have to think of much on the day of, and when I did need something, Kathy was right there to solve the problem. I was so worried about having everything set up as "I wanted it". Her team blew my expectations with the decor and all def had a "decorative eye". We even had some "drama" with someone leaving a personal item back at the hotel and they needed it during the wedding. Kathy personally went back to the hotel to get the item so that the bride/groom didn't worry. We honestly didn't hear about this until the next day!

Your dream day is the perfect name because hiring Kathy is exactly what made it that. I thought I could do this all myself and when it comes down to it, I didn’t want to remember how stressed I was making sure little details were happening behind the scenes. I wanted to relax enjoy my day and my husband. I literally could not have done this without her. She works hard, she runs, she sweats, and she makes sure the day happens exactly how you need it. She also was very good at reacting to a slight change in something and making it happen and moving on. She is a good listener and makes sure not only the bride and groom are taken care of but everyone else too. She is on top of it and all the questions I got everyday from family about the wedding day my answer was “Kathy’s got it.” She did. When she says she’s the first there and the last to leave she is. After the wedding we had minimal work to do, she had our cars packed with all our decorations, cake she cut for us, leftover food, our sand ceremony wrapped in bubble wrap etc. unbelievable how easy she made our day. The good lord made our paths cross at just the right time and I am so blessed they did. You should hire her!

Kathy was absolutely amazing! My fiance is from Ohio but we live in Las Vegas, so I had to plan our wedding from almost 2,000 miles away, sight unseen. And, given the fast approaching wedding date, I relied HEAVILY on Kathy's experience, judgment, and contacts. After only 2 telephone calls, she totally got my style and understood exactly what we wanted. She arranged tours, meetings, and tastings for all our vendors that we conducted during our only weekend visit. She even secured us some pretty great deals with our vendors. To say that Kathy is a superstar at her job is a true understatement. I will forever be indebted to her for helping make my dream a reality!

Kathy and her team are fabulous. It was such a pleasure working with Your Dream Day on my daughter's wedding. We surely could not have done it all without them. If I had advice for anyone on planning a wedding, it would be to HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER! Kathy was such a huge help when planning my wedding from giving advice to making recommendations on vendors to decoration inspiration. From our first meeting, she really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted our big day to be like and what things were most important to us. Our wedding turned out perfect and exactly what we wanted. Not only was it beautiful, but Kathy really helped us add little details that fit my husband and I’s interests. Also, on the day of, the last thing you want to do is have to worry about anything. Kathy and her team stepped calmly into the challenging position of taking over the execution of a wedding planned by someone else. (My fiancé -- Someone who is a control freak type A!) Her patience and great personality helped create what everyone is dubbing 'The Perfect Wedding.' Kathy and her team of dream girls did a great job of making everything run so smoothly. My mom was impressed with the little things, like when they scrubbed down the ceremony chairs after it had rained the night before, until they were gleaming white. That level of detail is what made the day special. They also hooked us up with the DJ and Photographer. Those references were invaluable! They made our wedding day special. Highly recommended!

From the start - encouraging my daughter and wife to use a wedding planner was by far THE BEST thing I did. She then made it easy during there first meeting - I think you called it a "date?" You were the second planner they met that day. Did you know she cancelled the interview with the third? It was an instant level of comfort, professionalism and support. use a wedding planner, and use Kathy! Very up to date on the different style of weddings that are out . Kathy was spot on and helping with different vendors to use that fit our needs and our vision for the wedding and reception. I definitely will be using Kathy for my second daughter.

After unexpectedly going thru 3 different venue planners (at the same venue) in less than a year, and losing the last venue planner the week of our wedding, Kathy (our wedding planner, not our venue planner) did an amazing job at making sure our wedding day was exactly what we'd designed. If she hadn't been there to assist in the 11th hour reconstruction of our wedding, I don't want to think about what it would have been like versus the "wasn't even a single hiccup" wedding we had. If you're looking for an energetic planner that has several weddings under her belt, Kathy's your person.

Kathy was amazing ! She did an awesome job helping find a venue, photographer, and a caterer. She paid attention to what we wanted and made everything come together. Super easy to talk to and was always there during the stressful times leading up to the big day. I would recommend her and her team in a heart beat. Just awesome experience all around I wish I could relive that day over and over again. Took all the stress off my shoulders and just let us have fun and enjoy the moments. Kathy did an amazing job planning and executing our wedding. Our wedding was suppose to be outdoors but It actually rained the entire week of and the day of our wedding. Kathy had everything under control and her back-up plan played out beautifully. Everything was perfect and the day went so smoothly. We couldn't have done it without her!

Kathy Piech-Lukas and her team were fantastic! My husband and I were from out of town planning our wedding in Northern KY/ Cincinnati area and felt as though we were choosing blindly for many of our vendors. She asked a lot of questions to help us figure out what we wanted... and when we weren't sure what we wanted, she gave us a variety of options at different price levels so we could be sure to stay in budget and still get top notch quality. The vendors we chose knew her team & they worked well together. We had a few vendors she had never worked with before (family or friends of ours), and she made sure that everything ran smoothly. There were a lot of issues with our reception hall the day of the wedding, and Kathy and her team made sure it didn't impact us or our guests. Also at the last minute we had about 30 guests not be able to make the reception and Kathy and her team made sure to coordinate the change of plans with our reception hall (and when the reception hall didn't make the changes the day of, her team was there to fix it before guests arrived). We were also able to borrow a few items from her office so we didn't need to purchase some extras, that definitely helped us cut our costs. Thank you so much!

Do not book Kathy Piech-Lukas and/or Your Dream Day services to help plan your wedding. You will be very disappointed with the amount of money you spend and what you actually get out of the service. We were sold at the beginning by the fancy software and planning/detail she mentioned, but on the day of the wedding, we found out Kathy had booked other weddings and was frantically jumping between them. She had promised us that we were the only wedding of the day, but we had to find out through a third party that she had lied to us. A tremendous amount of details regarding the wedding were missed because Kathy was not present and her team was not aware of the details we had asked for. Even when she was there, she messed up the food at the after-party and the honeymoon suite was nothing like she had promised. To top it all off, she was running around, sweating and yelling at our guests during the reception. On a day when the bride and groom are supposed to be nervous and in need of a support staff, Kathy was just the opposite making things hectic, disorganized, and incomplete. Sadly, she is what a lot of our guests remember about the ceremony/reception. It was a bad decision to go with Kathy Piech-Lukas and Your Dream Day services and we insist that you do not make the same mistake.

Kathy! You were absolutely amazing. My wedding day was perfect and I owe a lot of that to you. You kept everyone on task during rehearsal (and I know we had a big, rowdy bunch) so kudos for that! :) On the wedding day, you were nothing but helpful the entire time. Anything I needed, you were there. I appreciate your organization, your professionalism and your overall willingness to go the extra mile to make my big day that much more smooth. I used Kathy for my wedding on July 11,2015 at the Schuster Center in Downtown Dayton. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone planning a wedding in the Dayton area. She came over to my house the day of and steamed my girl's dresses, made sure all the vendors delivered on time and according to our plan, and basically handled everything while still being in the background. She also filmed my whole bridal party entrance for us and thought of things we did not, like saving menus, place cards, programs, etc from the event. Use Dream Day for your wedding!

I first heard of Kathy back in 2007 when one of my best friends got married. They had some challenging and unexpected situations come up the day of the wedding, and thank goodness they had Kathy there to spring into action and get things handled. Years later, I crossed paths with Kathy again while planning my own May, 2014 wedding, and it quickly became evident that Kathy had valuable, in-depth knowledge of the wedding industry and vendors in the Cincinnati/Dayton/NKY area, and was extremely responsive, pro-active and genuinely interested in helping however she could. Kathy's Dream Day Cafe space in Dayton is adorable - I could hang out there all day (Free cake samples?! A bridal goody bag? Yes, please! ). Kathy definitely goes the extra mile for everyone she works with, and is a true professional. Her great attention to detail, organization skills, dedication to her clients, and bright demeanor make Kathy of Your Dream Day Cafe a "Dream Wedding Planner" - or as she would say, "Lead Dreamgirl". Highly recommend!!

my wedding was a long journey through health problems and postponing due to those I called so many wedding planners not connecting with any until Kathy. Kathy and I truly connected she was not just my planner she was a friend she was there for me when everyone was stressed and I needed a safe person to vent to. My one point of advice is to trust her team to do what they need to get done my family ended up doing way more than they were supposed to and it made things confusing had we just let Kathy and her team do it I think it would have been much less stressful. The biggest plus was cleanup they did all break down and put all of our stuff back in the containers. Kathy even came the night before when everyone was ready to kill each other to help defuse the situation and stayed way into the night helping with flowers. Best part I had a beautiful wedding and someone I still connect with and check in with to share life's joys. Just remember it is expensive but if you trust them and let them do their job it's well worth it and I only had them for the weekend package.

We ran into trouble with our initial day-of wedding planner, and Kathy really came through and helped us make sure everything went smoothly even though we brought her in only a few weeks before the wedding.

Kathy was a huge help. We hired her for the "day of" the wedding planning/coordination/organization. She was very organized and gave us (at least me!) the confidence that someone other than the Bride knew all that had to happen to make it all come together. We used her guidance on a few things months before the wedding, as she was always only a call or email away and that alone was very helpful and reassuring. Overall, we were very pleased to have found Kathy.

Kathy and her associates made my daughter's wedding a thousand times more easier to enjoy. They handled all of those little details that you thought about for months and those that we never thought of and took many of our worries and concerns away. Kathy was excellent in coordinating with us and putting my daughter's mind at ease. We really appreciated so much all of extra things Kathy did after the wedding from aiding us in cleaning up to returning our tuxedos for us and many more things in between. It was a delight to have her as our wedding planner.

I used Kathy as my wedding planner for my wedding. The wedding was on a Friday, which made my rehearsal on a Thursday, thus creating a less than ordinary wedding calendar of events. Kathy attended and orchestrated the rehearsal wonderfully. Some crucial members of rehearsal arrived about half an hour late so we had about 20 minutes to do the physical run through of the processional. Kathy had done so much planning/organizing/communicating before the run through that it went perfectly and there was no need to do a second run through. The day of the wedding Kathy showed up with an entire suitcase full of items that I may or may not need during the course of the day. She was on time and ready for anything. She spent the morning communicating with every vendor and making sure that everyone was on schedule. During the wedding and reception she played more of a behind the scenes role. I didn't see her a lot after the processional but I know she was there because everything went according to plan. When my husband and I arrived in our honeymoon suite that night what we saw was stunning. There were rose petals, candles, cake, and champagne waiting our arrival. It was such a special touch that meant a lot to us. The wedding was absolutely perfect and went off without a single hitch. This was largely due to Kathy and her help with planning and organizing before, during, and after the wedding. Kathy is an amazing planner and I don't know what I would have done without her! I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for or are even considering a planner.

Your Dream Day Cafe was a wonderful resource for my wedding! Being able to meet multiple vendors at the same location was very convenient for my wife and I. Every vendor and employee we met there was incredibly nice, which is something that we value very highly, since we are a same sex couple and often got a cold shoulder from wedding vendors. She brought great ideas to us as well as some "coaching." =o ) All of Kathy's vendors she used were exquisite and worth using. Everyone was down to earth and helped to make my experience one of the best memories of my life.

I got married a few months ago and it was a Perfect day! Kathy Piech-Lukas from Your Dream Day was a BIG part in making that happen. Kathy was so easy to work with and after one meeting she knew exactly what i wanted for MY BIG DAY and helped make it all come true! She had great ideas and made sure on the wedding day every detail was in place. My family all loved her and she made such a great impression that my cousin will be using her services for her wedding! I was glad to help keep kathy busy but i was also glad my cousin chose Kathy to help because she is the best!! She was everything from a coordinator to a friend and the person who kept me calm that day! Thanks for everything Kathy!!!!

Kathy and her team were amazing I had them for the day of services and I truly don't know how I would have made it through this entire wedding proccess without her. She was always just a phone call or text away and she always had some sort of resolve to my problem She kept all of my vendors in the loop and took a huge amount of stress off of my shoulders. On the day of she was not only what kept me calm the entire day but she helped my bridesmaids tremendously! Her emergency kit saved my day and she made sure we had breakfast/lunch drinks and everything we could possibly need. She always has a smile on her face and makes you feel comfortable not to mention she has the best ideas and great contacts. I could go on and on with how amazing Kathy is I reccomend that you choose your dream day and find out for yourself I garuntee that you will not be disappointed!!!

The day I went in to interview Kathy and hired her to be our one day event planner I felt like the world had been lifted off my shoulders! Instead of worrying about how things were going to be done, I knew that she was going to handle it. Her explanations of how they handled things, responded to problems, suggestions she made, and questions she asked me ... I knew I could relax and enjoy my daughter's wedding. I highly recommend Kathy and her staff to do your wedding planning with you. If only for a day...she's wonderful!!! For more than a day you'd be floating on cloud nine. Kathy and her team from Your Dream Day are phenomenal! We used the Day of the Ceremony service and couldn't have been happier with the results. Kathy was with us for the rehearsal, making sure all went as planned, and all day on our wedding day. During the week leading up to the wedding she confirmed all of our vendors were on track and handled any last minute questions that came up. We had an issue with our caterer with regard to the cake cutting and Kathy took the situation in hand to make sure that what needed to happen did indeed happen, going well above what was asked of her in our contract. She kept track of all of the minor details, which allowed me, my husband, our wedding party and our families to truly enjoy the day. I highly recommend Your Dream Day to any brides looking for a coordinator/planner. Working with Kathy and Co. will be, by far, one of the best investments you will make for your wedding day!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Kathy and Annette for helping me on my wedding day. Annette was there with me every step of the way, from the hair appointments all the way to end of the night. She had everything with her to solve any problem that would arise. It was stressful to help my daughter plan her wedding and then realize that one of the biggest jobs of coordinating everything on the day of the wedding was left to chance. Thankfully, we found Your Dream Day! Kathy and Annette did an amazing job on the day of the wedding and did things we didn't think of at all. They were truly a blessing and, in my opinion, the best professionals in the business. Annette was there helping steam bridesmaid dresses while we got our hair done and she kept all of us on track and calm and we had a blast getting ready for the big day. She was professional,organized and she really cared about us by making the day beautiful in every way. Kathy helped keep the guys on track. She even showed up at the park where the photos were being shot with an extra pair of tux pants for a groomsman when a waistband buckle broke. Kathy also coordinated setting the reception hall in the most beautiful manner. It was stunning to see the final results from my daughter's vision. It was a pleasure to work with Your Dream Day!

I recently got married in July 2010. And I enlisted the help of Kathy and Your Dream Day back in June of 2008 right after my husband and I got engaged. We live in the DC area but we were planning a Dayton, Oh wedding and we knew we would need some help to iron out all the details and take care of things when we could not get home to be there. We met with Kathy and immediately knew she was the woman for the job. We went with the full package in which she would be doing "everything". It just seemed more practical for us so that we could worry about our jobs and everyday life rather than minor details to the wedding. She even worked with us with a flexible payment plan and gave us a 10% discount on the price. We then started talking venues, flowers, cakes, colors, etc. We first picked a venue large enough to hold out guest list of approx 400. And when I then changed my mind 6 months later she was there to help clear up the mess and move us on to the most beautiful venue in the Dayton Area- The Schuster Center. It was simply amazing and kathy quickly made contacts with the people there to make this day perfect. We went with a florist that Kathy suggest- The Flowerman and worked with Cady. This was the easiest process ever! Cady was simply amazing to work with and our flowers were beyond spectacular! I couldn't have asked for anything better. We decided to go with our own DJ, Cake, and preacher. And Kathy worked very well with all of those decisions. We often had to spend long hours together when I made visits home so that we could accomplish lots of things in a short amount of time and kathy was present at all of these meeting and never more than 5 minutes late. She was very good at getting across what my husband and I envisioned and made sure that everything we wanted was done. The day before the wedding and the day of were absolutely seamless and a breeze. Kathy and her assistant Elizabeth handled everything with such poise and patience. It made me not have to worry about anything that was going on except getting me and my girls ready and walking down the aisle. I spent countless hours on the phone with kathy as well as talking to her via text and email. She was very prompt with all of her responses and always calmed my fears. She always went out of her way to meet my parents when needed to get things done or deliver something to them. The invitations and Save the Dates as well as RSVPs were handled in a timely manner and the timeline for the wedding day and seating were taking care of nicely. My family and the wedding party got along great with her as well. I still to this day will have conversations about various things(she promptly had my dress cleaned and delivered my flowers to freeze frame) with Kathy because not only was I a client of hers but I feel like she became a friend as well. I would highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator to anyone who is getting married in the near future and needs a little direction. :) Thank you so much Kathy for all that you did, have done, and are doing fot Dymond and I :)

I purchased the Dream Weekend (50 hour) package from Your Dream Day after feeling completely overwhelmed by going to a large bridal show. My husband and I both tell everyone that this was the best money that we spent on our wedding. Kathy arranged limo tours for us while we checked out venues and photographers. These were key because we were able to discuss our options with her on the way to each stop. We decided to have our wedding at Great Wolf Lodge and it was absolutely beautiful! I guarantee that I never would have thought of GWL as a ceremony and reception venue on my own. While Kathy did show up late to some meetings, she usually called and she was always on task when she arrived. We always ended up getting a ton of things accomplished every time we met. The vendors that we chose through YDD (venue, photographer, flowers, cake, rentals, ceremony musicians, invitations, limo, hotel blocks, salon) were all amazing and, because of Kathy, we were able to get some great discounts. We chose the DJ and officiant on our own and Kathy worked really well with both of them. Because we had a small wedding party, Kathy offered to make our bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres herself. This was a totally unexpected offer which saved a lot of money. We were also able to save money by borrowing votive cups from YDD for our centerpieces. It was also nice not to be stuck with tons of votive cups after the wedding. The best thing about hiring YDD was the wedding day. I was able to concentrate on getting my hair and makeup done, getting dressed and having pictures taken without worrying about if the ceremony and reception sites were being set up properly. I was able to enjoy my wedding day without anyone calling me with problems. If there were any issues on our wedding day, I never new about them. From my perspective, everything went off flawlessly. My husband and I, our parents and our guests were able to really enjoy the day. This peace of mind alone was worth what I paid for my Your Dream Day contract. When my husband and I left the reception and walked into our hotel room, we found that all the presents had been brought up, the room was romantically decorated and (best of all!) there were two plates of food in the refrigerator. Kathy even came back to the hotel the morning after the wedding to pick up the tuxes and other rentals and returned them for us so that we were able to focus on getting ready for our honeymoon. Kathy has also been helpful since our wedding. Earlier this year, one of my coworkers was stressing because the person who was hired to do the makeup for her cousin's wedding canceled just a few weeks before the wedding. I contacted Kathy and she was able to work with the bride to quickly find an available makeup artist. The bride and my coworker were both very happy with the results. I would recommend your Your Dream Day to anyone planning a wedding.

As someone in the event industry in Cincinnati, I carefully selected the vendors for my October wedding with precision and detail. Kathy of Your Dream Day not only provided the best deal, in terms of package pricing, but she also proved to be the most experienced when I spoke to vendors. Area vendors highly recommend Kathy and continue to offer her deals which other local wedding planners just don't seem to have. Kathy's attention to detail and ability to multi-task made my wedding planning efforts seemless. Her day of care was unbelievable, I could not put a price tag on it. Without her there, the day of, my wedding experience would have been very stressful. Kathy made sure everything was thought of and knew exactly what my expectations were and exceeded them. Your Dream Day comes highly recommended, especially Kathy.

I originally engaged Weddings from the Heart as our day of co-ordinator but because of a death in her family Your Dream Day had to step in and take over. Everything went seamlessly, you would have thought she had been there from the beginning of the process. I engaged a co-ordinator so as the mother of the bride I would have a relaxed and stress free day and that was exactly what I had thanks to both Jean (Weddings from the Heart) and especially Kathy (Your Deam Day).

I used Kathy as my day-of-planner and I found that we didn't really get much out of her for the money. She did stay up late into the night before the wedding, but didn't seem to do much the day of. Also, she was supposed to bring 2 assistants and only brought 1. I had multiple people, guests and close family, come to me and tell me that she was rude.

I hired this group to plan my wedding based off of a recommendation from a family friend (who hired the planner for a weekend "Procrastinator's Package"). My experience was not at all on par with my family friend's experience. The planner was unorganized, unfamiliar with the Dayton area, seemed to be pushing for the highest budget possible, did not return my calls, was late for or just didn't show up for meetings without so much as an apology or an excuse in one situation, and was all in all very unprofessional in my humble opinion. This is not to say that every person will have a bad experience, and the planner may be very knowledgeable in the Cincinnati area, but was not in the Dayton area. I did hook up with my photographer and florist though through this wedding planning team, which were both fantastic! I ended up terminating my contract (which was for the entire wedding planning experience--the second highest package they offer) and received part of my money back, but I would advise thinking it through very carefully before hiring this wedding planner or any wedding planner at all.
