Honestly, Debbie was the #1 best vendor I hired for my wedding. Debbie kept me on track with planning and gave me SUCH good advice throughout the process. She has an incredible gift with her eye for detail. Debbie hadn't been to my reception venue before, so she took it upon herself to set up a meeting with the manager there for a tour. That was the first of many times I was blown away by her dedication to personalizing your wedding planning experience. I chose her most basic package, yet the attention she gave me made me feel like her most valued client! She has a way of making everyone feel like her most important client :) The amount of communication we had throughout my year of planning exceeded my expectation. She will answer any question you have at any time, and offer her personal opinions when you ask. She is very knowledgeable in all things "wedding", and genuinely wants to help make your wedding the best day of your life. I didn't know this until after my wedding, but she stayed to set up way past the hours she was supposed to, because one of my vendors hadn't shown up, and she said she couldn't leave in good conscience until she saw the vendor arrive in person. She is simply amazing and you will truly have your most perfect event when hiring Debbie.
Debbie is fabulous!! She is so organized and a pleasure to work with. She makes sure every detail of your wedding is carried out just as you had planned. She was our “day of” coordinator and by far the best investment for the day. As the mother of the bride, Debbie allowed me the ability to enjoy the morning/afternoon of the wedding, to the fullest, with my daughter and family knowing our dreams and vision were being carried out at our reception venue. She is the BEST!
I hardly know where to begin. Simply put, Debbie is 10000000% MANDATORY for every bride in the metro Detroit area. We had Debbie as our wedding day coordinator and she was so much more than that. She learned every single detail of our wedding inside and out, and at times she knew my wedding far better than I even knew it myself! She is the most organized and detail oriented person I have ever met. I cannot emphasize enough how necessary she is! I am so thankful we hired Debbie for my wedding!

My daughter's wedding planner from YOUR PERFECT EVENT was on top of all the details from the start. From pre-planning to the day of the event, she was on top of everything. She met with us regularly and was always on time and on task! No detail was too small. The company owner was also present for key meetings and showed her expertise by asking all the right questions, she was very thoughtful and paid attention to our budget. We felt we were in good hands all they way through to wedding day. We really did have a perfect event!
Lynn was great to work with! She was very organized and professional and made sure everything got done exactly how we wanted it. She worked really well with our vendors and was always thinking of details that may not have otherwise crossed my mind. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

Debbie worked so efficiently, was so well-organized, so personable that we as parents of the bride enjoyed the wedding as much as our guests. Debbie and Mike took charge of the vendors and made sure our wedding venue met our daughter's vision. They are so relaxed and wonderful to work with. You will not find a better couple to work with on your wedding day.

If I could give Debbie 10 stars, I would. She truly made the wedding planning process and wedding day so much better for my groom, myself and our families in every way.
To start with: I was hooked on Debbie during our first conversations. Unlike other wedding planners I spoke with, she did not immediately push me on her packages and get me to sign a contract. Instead she spent two hours on the phone with me listening to our day and the issues we had run into so far planning. She immediately jumped in and worked with me trying to find solutions to these initial problems. I actually felt like she cared about our day and was going to work hard to make it perfect. That's when we chose her and over the year we planned together, we never regretted the decision.
My husband and I had a complicated wedding day. We had 200 guests and had two ceremonies (Hindu and Christian) at two locations with a luncheon and evening reception. All in one day! It was logistically very complicated. In addition, Debbie had never planned an Indian wedding (which she was up front about during our initial conversations). While we definitely needed to both do our homework throughout the year, Debbie did an amazing job all year researching Hindu traditions and actually coming to us with ideas for vendors. She is unbelievably organized and meticulous which is definitely why our crazy day went so perfectly. We weren't sure if we could truly pull off our tight timeframe for the day but we did almost to the minute! Our guests definitely noticed how smooth the whole day was and appreciated it! We have received so many compliments about our wedding day from both of our families and friends. We were able to honor both sides and traditions and make the long day fun for them. Much of this success is due to Debbie.
Debbie is also just truly a pleasure to work with. Her husband, Mike, and her are just "good people" that make it fun to spend hours throughout the year on the phone discussing what can be mundane details of a wedding day, checking out vendors, etc. She led us repeatedly to vendors that were similar - she tried to use smaller and locally owned vendors when possible. We were so happy with everyone she introduced us to and loved supporting local.
One of the most telling signs of what Debbie meant to me is probably how I felt that week before the wedding. While I had some stress with our visitors and some private events we were hosting during the week with family and friends, I had NO stress about the wedding day itself. I had total faith that Debbie and her team would be on top of all the details. When my mom expressed a worry about how she'd know when this or that was happening on the day, I said "don't worry! listen to Debbie!" It's wonderful to NOT focus on all those details and last minute challenges of wedding planning, but rather to be able to focus on the excitement of marrying the love of your life and celebrating with family and friends. Debbie made that possible.

Where do I even start?! The greatest decision I have ever made aside from the groom I chose ;) was hiring Your Perfect Event LLC! Debbie is so amazing, and she made our wedding day absolutely perfect. She did an incredible job from start to finish. During the planning session she was such a calming presence when aspects of wedding planning would get stressful. She was so positive all of the time and a kept me sane! She is so creative and very obviously a pro at what she does!! Any problem that came up she helped solve immediately and she even thought of problems that MIGHT come up and helped me to find a "just in case" plan! Our wedding would not have been half of what it was without her. I can't thank her and her team enough for what they put in to make our wedding flawless. Debbie cares about her brides and wants them to be happy on their special day. I was so stress-free the days leading up to my wedding thanks to her! She provided us with vendors to use that were reliable and so great at what they do! She has such great advice about every aspect of a wedding which came in handy since I am so indecisive and all of her advice was spot on. I truly do not know what I would have done without her! As the mother of the bride I was thrilled to have Debbie in place to handle all the details of the day. She and her team quietly and seamlessly handled last minute glitches. No worries for the bride nor me. In addition to her advance preparation and thoroughness, Debbie is just a delightful person to work with.

We hired Debbie for day of coordination and she went above and beyond throughout every step of the process. She helped us realize things we hadn't thought of and made us feel secure and justified in decisions we were making that we felt deviated from the norm.
There wasn't a single email that wasn't returned same day - most often within the hour. She was so so thorough, which was great because I'm pretty particular, detail oriented, anal, etc. (and can often be a pain haha). But Debbie didn't mind at all, she usually answered my questions before I even asked.
Day of we had a few hiccups with our venue and we can't thank Debbie and her team enough for handling everything beautifully and never allowing the information to make its way to our ears. For this we will be forever grateful!
Beyond all of this, Debbie is just a genuinely great person, we really enjoyed getting to know her and know you will too!

Debbie and her team was BY FAR the best purchase I made for my entire wedding. What she and her team do is something you can’t put a price on. Being able to be worry free about if the food arrived, if the tables were set, if the Dj was there and countless other things you’d be worried about all wedding day long, was truly priceless. I got to enjoy every moment of my wedding day. Everyone says your wedding day flies by, but I felt that because of Debbie, I was truly present in every moment of that day because I had nothing to worry about. I wanted my wedding to feel like a party, a party that I wasn’t hosting and worried about the entire day, taking away from this amazing moment in my life, and Debbie made that happen. Not for one second was I worried about a thing. She’s organized and on top of everything! She made me more organized and planning a wedding a breeze. Her attention to detail and making sure everything is exactly how YOU want it to be makes everything easier, more fun and more exciting. I had a strict budget and Debbie gives you so much more than what you pay for. My wedding day would not have been what it was without her and that’s a fact. She stays the whole wedding making sure it all goes exactly how you wanted it to (and it did!). I cannot thank her enough or recommend her enough!!!
Debbie was truly amazing to work with. Not only did she help us fill in any missing patches in the planning (no matter how organized you are, there is always something forgotten!) but she was kind, professional, and trustworthy. Dear bride who is reading this review. If you are looking for someone who can give you some peace of mind, you found her. I was an out of state bride who had our wedding in Michigan. And for some crazy reason thought I could pull off the wedding by myself. I was terribley mistaken and quickly became overwhelmed and stressed out. I talked to about 5 coordinators before finding Y.P.E. However the second I got on the phone with Debbie I knew she was the one. I went with the most basic package of hers and she did not make me feel any less important for it. Debbie leaves no wedding rock unturned and no question not asked. My husband and I both agreed that the best thing we spent money on was Y.P.E and their service. Even guest and our bridal party kept telling us how amazing our coordinator was. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything I wanted. You will not be disappointed.
Our wedding was perfect and my husband and I were able to enjoy the party thanks to Your Perfect Event. We couldn't have done it without Debbie! Her attention to detail and experience was so valuable. She was always available to answer questions and help during the planning process. On the day of our wedding, she had everything under control and we were so grateful she was there.

My wife and I hired Your Perfect Event to plan our wedding. It worked out great for me as she let me focus on only what I was interested in (bar, DJ, and food). Debbie went with my wife to all their vendor meetings and kept her happy and sane. On the day of our wedding, Debbie gave me an easy itinerary to follow and made sure we stayed on track. I spent the evening hanging out with friends and family and dancing with my new wife!
Choosing Your Perfect Event was the best decision I made while planning our wedding (full coordination). Other than the date and reception venue, I really had no idea what to do or where to start. My job keeps me pretty busy and can be stressful. From our very first meeting, I could tell that Debbie is extremely organized, professional, and a seasoned event planner. She made sure to get an understanding of my budget and what was important to me.
She made wedding planning fun! I told her what I wanted and what I was willing to spend and she found great options for me that she already vetted (e.g. available the day of the wedding). She asked me to take a couple days off work to visit some vendors. She lined them all up and had an agenda and questions ready for each day. In those two days, we reserved transportation, linens, flowers, cake, DJ, photographer, and we had extra time to find my wedding dress. It’s hard to tell if you can trust vendors, but when you walk in with Debbie, she makes sure that they roll out the red carpet for you or she won’t bring business there again. Debbie also did a great job of monitoring my budget and we came in a little under budget. She also tracks the timeline and spoon-fed me tasks so I wouldn’t get overwhelmed.
On the day of the wedding, I just focused on enjoying my wedding. Debbie and her team ran around to make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and that things were moving on track. She also had a team at the reception venue to ensure they were setting things up as we had requested. We had a couple issues with the reception hall not doing what they had agreed to, but Debbie fixed things behind the scenes and told me about it later. I spent the night mingling with guests and dancing with my husband.
Debbie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is very friendly and down to earth, but she also knows how to be a bulldog for you to make sure vendors are treating you right.
Your Perfect Event was essential to the success of our wedding ceremony and reception. For anyone who is having an event in the area, Your Perfect Event LLC should be at the top of your list. Debbie was absolutely superb in organizing our vision and ideas for our day. We reached out to Debbie and Your Perfect Event late in the planning and preparation stages of our wedding. And when I mean late, I mean 3 months away from the big day.
We realized we needed someone to manage and coordinate the Day of Ceremony. My wife and I both live in Midwest Illinois, and we were trying to plan and coordinate our wedding back in Michigan. Distance and lack of support greatly hurt our planning; we were at a loss. We needed someone in our corner, and more to the point, knew what to do and get it done quickly. We didn’t have the contacts or up to date knowledge of the area. After booking Our Perfect Event, a few phone calls and emails, Debbie picked up the pieces of our wedding plans and was off and running.
In a very short time, she was able to pull it all together and have the banquet center, the florist, the DJ, the equipment rental, and the photographer all prepped and ready. My bride-to-be had no worries whatsoever. Debbie answered any and all questions my wife and I had. She was very responsive and extremely flexible with any changes and last minute items. I wanted a little more hands-on during the decorating and Your Perfect Event did not let me down. Debbie and Your Perfect Event paid great attention to detail in laying out the decorations and the set up for the day. The day was absolutely fantastic and I have Debbie and Your Perfect Event for making it all happen!! Thank you Debbie for all the hard work you did! Your efforts helped make all the memories spectacular!
Debbie was amazing in every respect of the planning, coordination and execution of my best friend's wedding. I was the matron of honor and had significant interaction with Debbie from the beginning of the planning process through to the big day. She was extremely organized, punctual and made sure all of the vendors were on task and prepared as well. Not only did she make sure the big details of the day were locked down but she also remembers the little details like snacks and water for the bridal party in the limo and emergency bridal kit (we defnitely took advantage of those saftey pins, wet wipes, lint rollers, etc.). One other huge asset to having Debbie on your team is her ability to manage change. The reception venue was sold to another owner just prior to the wedding. There were details agreed to (and in writing) from the previous owner that were not honored the day of from the new owner. Debbie took it all in stride and made the necessary arrangements with her own staff to keep the event going smoothly and the Bride never had to stress for a moment. If I had known about Debbie when I was planning my own wedding, I would have booked her in a heart beat. I have been in many a bridal party and have seen the good, bad and the great when it comes to wedding service providers and Debbie is definitely in the great category and I would highly recommend her services for any event.
Working with Debbie at Your Perfect Event was an absolute dream. We were planning our wedding in Michigan, all the way from California. Debbie was the only vendor that I used who was able to work around the time difference and the whole planning process was seamless. We used Debbie for Day of Planning, as well as having her assist us with the rehearsal the night before. We had several phone calls in the months leading up to the event. It was so helpful that she always had a list of things that I needed to accomplish before our next call. I had so many other things going on it was difficult to stay on task. Debbie took the time to meet with me and my family during one trip to Michigan and was able to meet with me again when I returned three weeks before. She was so kind to all of my family members, after our first meeting they all commented on how organized she was. In the weeks leading up to the wedding Debbie offered her assistance with all the last minute details, she even offered to help me out if my family was starting to drive me nuts. Before the events she confirmed all vendor appointments and even worked out a few kinks we had in the scheduling. I was able to drop all of the little details for the wedding to her in advance so I would not have to worry about the little things like table numbers and seating charts. The day of our wedding Debbie and her team were so helpful, everything was seamless, she took charge of the ceremony, because the venue did not have an onsite coordinator. I did not have to worry about a thing. She even handled a little meltdown by my aunt. I do not think our wedding would have turned out so amazing without her. I would recommend her to everyone looking to have a day of coordinator. She will really put your mind at ease. You cannot put a price on the services she provides. It is worth every penny.
Debbie was key in making the last few weeks leading up to the wedding less stressful and more fun. As a couple living in western Illinois and getting married in Michigan, we needed someone to keep us organized and on track. She met with the owner of our venue a few weeks prior to the wedding and made sure everything was set and let us know what additional info we needed to communicate to him. Debbie kept track of all the small details and helped us determine the answers to questions we hadn't even thought to ask. Debbie's friendly personality and genuine interest in us and our wedding made her so wonderful to work with. I would recommend Your Perfect Event to any couple looking for a coordinator!
From the moment I met Debbie, she put my mind at ease. You can tell that she is a seasoned pro and from the first meeting, she had great ideas and resources and was able to offer answers to any questions that I had. She did so with kindness as well; having never planned a wedding before, I felt some of my questions may have been silly, but Debbie never made me feel that way- she answered every question respectfully and whole-heartedly and made me feel instantly comfortable.
Debbie was extremely flexible, she helped us stay within our budget, which was VERY important to us. She is knowledgeable of 'the business' and has great relationships with vendors and was able to recommend some wonderful people- all of whom we were equally happy with. Debbie thought of the tiniest details that had not even occurred to me. The day of the wedding, I was SO relaxed because I knew that Debbie was prepared and organized- she made a fool-proof itinerary for all members of the wedding party so everyone knew where they needed to be and when. She helped coordinate the set-up and tear down for the evening. Debbie also brought her team with her; we had six people working diligently to ensure that we had the wedding of our dreams, and their efforts went above and beyond all of our expectations. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything other than enjoying ourselves because Debbie and her team had everything under control. Without Your Perfect Event, LLC, I am positive that our wedding would not have turned out the way we wanted it to, and I am so thankful we chose to work with Debbie because our wedding was a night we will NEVER forget!
Debbie is not only good at her job- she's also a GOOD PERSON. One vendor (not one of Debbie's vendors) was being uncooperative and Debbie was able to advocate on my behalf to make sure that I was not being taken advantage of. Also, my mother was experiencing some medical issues over the course of the wedding planning process and Debbie always made sure to ask how she was doing and empathize with the stress that my family and I were experiencing. I would recommend Debbie to anyone planning an event and looking for some assistance. Debbie was a fantastic wedding planner. Our wedding was beautiful, unique, and everything we could have hoped for. I wanted to have our wedding in Michigan, but my husband and I both lived in California. For planning a remote wedding, Debbie was invaluable.
She made us both feel like we were in charge of all the decisions, but she took care of the details. There were times where we _really_ concerned with details, like having a specially made cake topper of two robots holding hands, and times where we were didn't want to know, like when I wanted white flowers and didn't want to know any other details until the day of the wedding. Debbie handled both general and detailed directions without missing a beat.
She kept us on schedule (both during planning and the day of the wedding) and on budget. She worked with both our hand-chosen family photographer and had great connections with her own vendors.

Debbie and Lynn went above and beyond to make sure that the most important day of my life was flawless. We hired them for “day of coordinating,” but the services they provided went beyond the actual wedding day. We had 3 meetings with them prior to the wedding day (in addition to many calls/texts/emails), and at each meeting Debbie had a list of to-dos for me and my mom, which helped to keep us on track and complete the wedding prep far in advance. I thought I was organized… but they are the queens of organization! This helped me to enjoy the week before the wedding, as well as the actual wedding day. Your Perfect Event also enlarged and framed our seating chart, for a minimal charge. It turned out great, and my husband and I are going to hang it on a wall in our new house as a keepsake. I would recommend YPE to any bride who wants to enjoy her wedding day, with confidence that every detail will be taken care of. As my mom says, this is the best money we spent on the wedding!
Planning a wedding can be very demanding. Even with help from others (family, bridal party, internet resources) it's still incredibly time consuming and stressful. A few months before my wedding my fiance and I moved to the other side of the state and planning the wedding became increasingly more difficult. With the tremendous help from Debbie and Lynn from Your Perfect Event I was able to actively participate in the wedding plans while adjusting to a new home, new surroundings, and a new job. I got the "Day of" Coordinator package, but Debbie and Lynn went above and beyond "Day of". They were helpful in so many ways. They provided valuable input regarding wedding etiquette. They helped me prioritize my to-do list and stay on schedule. They were a great sounding board - they listened to my vision for my wedding and helped make it happen. They even helped me with my center pieces and the ballroom decor. Their knowledge and expertise made it so that I wouldn't miss any details along the way. After doing lots of research, I complied numerous to-do lists I found online into a 30 page list. I thought I had everything covered until I met with Debbie and Lynn. Within five minutes of meeting them they had provided me with plenty of tips and things to add to my list. Although the various online resources were helpful, they weren't tailored to MY wedding and as a result, many important details were initially overlooked. Every bride and every wedding is unique and because Debbie and Lynn know the ins and outs of weddings they were able to help me with my specific needs and wishes. Most importantly, with the help of Your Perfect Event, I was able to really enjoy my wedding. After all of the planning and seeing just how much is involved in a wedding, I was afraid that on my special day I'd be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off! I've heard from lots of brides that their wedding was somewhat of a let down because it went by too fast and because there was so much going on. I can thankfully say that because of Debbie and Lynn I was able to enjoy my wedding not only as much as my guests, but more! The day that I had been planning for a year and a half was way better than I had expected - it was stress free, full of fun and absolutely gorgeous! There are not enough kind words out there to describe how I feel about Debbie and Lynn from Your Perfect Event, LLC. I was not planning on having a wedding coordinator but decided to contact one after becoming overwhelmed with my work schedule and planning. I chose the "Day of Coordination" package and received so much more! I contacted Your Perfect Event, LLC a couple of months before the wedding. Debbie and Lynn met with me right away and were perfect right from the start! They were so organized, enthusiastic, caring, and interested in "my vision". They were always available and very responsive. They helped me stay on track and thought of everything down to the smallest detail. They stayed in close contact with all of my vendors and accompanied me to some of the meetings with my vendors. They asked questions I would have never thought of. On the actual wedding day I had ZERO stress! I felt confident knowing that Debbie, Lynn, and their staff had everything handled. Everything went so smoothly and I was able to RELAX and ENJOY my day! I think it is also important to note that Debbie and Lynn were so personable and they treated me like family. I would recommend Your Perfect Event, LLC to EVERY bride no matter what their budget and/or needs are. If you don't think you need a wedding coordinator or can't afford one, rethink that decision. If you are looking for someone affordable, very professional (yet personable), and efficient, that will make your day stress free, then contact Your Perfect Event, LLC! After working with Debbie and Lynn from Your Perfect Event for almost a year, my wedding day was a dream come true.
