Overall, my partner and I’s experience with this company was frustrating. We paid for the top tier package with YWYW. It feels like we were let down by how things were handled especially in the last few months leading up to the wedding.
The vendor quotes we got for things were very limited. When we wanted an outside vendor (not on the list provided) it felt like we needed to handle that ourselves. It also was much much faster turn arounds when we spoke directly to the vendors.
Stefanie is a very personable, friendly and kind person. She really does a good job of making you feel important. However, the follow through was not there leading up to our day.
For example, after several weeks up no response, we finally got a response to start on invitations. We had already sent save the dates. However, the invitation design/send process started so late we had guests reach out to ask if they were uninvited because they hadn’t received their official invites. Plus, we sent them so late our guests had less than 2 weeks to respond.
Towards the last 6 weeks leading up to our wedding, there was a medical related incident that caused some delays - which we completely understand. People first!However, the communication, transition and delays were horrible. For example, we had another several weeks without YWYW contacting us at all. Then, we received an email stating the radio silence was based on a medical incident.
We had a HUGE mishap with catering and most of the communication with the vendor was handled by the wedding planner themselves. Meaning, it was hidden from us - which is good normally. However, the day before our wedding, I asked about the final invoice and it was 30% larger than the last invoice we saw (we didn’t add that much). When I seemed shocked, the first response from our wedding planner was don’t worry, it’s still within budget. That felt unsettling to me. It turned out the cater had misquoted the cost of staff (buffet versus plated). The wedding planner did step in and fix this once we communicated frustration with it.
On the day of, everything went well. However, our wedding planner could not make the event. They had a medical issue and had first, communicated that they were going to be well enough to attend our wedding and then week of, told us that they were no longer coming. Which was totally good but the replacement wasn’t good. They were often short with me, my partner, my sister and my matron of honor. They snapped at my wedding party a few times in front of me. They were hard to find often and did not have the catering issues handled - I was asked where the special diet person sat (even though this was communicated thoroughly with YWYW).
On the bright side, I didn’t like my first make up trial and the wedding planner worked really hard in one day to get me set up with another trial and contract. It helped immensely because I felt beautiful on my wedding day. They even gave me their business phone number to text/call when needed. We felt really supported here. However, it was by far the best turn around we saw.
We feel overall that the ball was dropped for our wedding multiple times towards the end. However, our day ultimately was beautiful and magical. We will be grateful for some of the wonderful vendors YWYW provided to us. We wanted to get a wedding planner to alleviate some of the stress around wedding planning but felt it frustrating at times.
Stef was actually the only planner we interviewed that we didn't have a family/friend/industry reference for and I'm so glad we took a chance on her! Stef was so knowledgeable and seemed to have answers to every question that came up and rationale behind every recommendation.
She assigned us tasks to complete and work through together with her each month, which helped keep us on track without overwhelming us with a bunch of vendors and tasks early on. Tasks included big items like rentals, flowers, hotel block, but also included small details like bridesmaid gifts, wedding day jewelry, and wedding license! She covered every single detail you could possibly think of! We went through our budget thoroughly with her to determine the best plan that would both accommodate our larger guest count and fulfill the vision we wanted. She had all the cost saving tips and tricks and the BEST vendor recommendations that were a perfect match for us. She reviewed contracts, handled communication and negotiation with vendors, and fully planned out the layout (Tables, chairs, dancefloor, stage, etc.) for our venue.
We also had a bunch of crazy ideas that she helped us execute, making our wedding feel very personal and unique. She allows you to be as involved as you want to be but will also step in to help complete a task as needed along the way. She is so easy going and FUN to be around, which made every meeting fun! I also appreciated her communication as she was usually quick to respond when you have a question and did not hesitate to hop on a call with you.
She understood our vision and helped me execute it perfectly and efficiently without going over our set budget. Every time I hung up the phone with her I felt a huge sense of relief and peace of mind. I fully trusted Stef and her team and ultimately could not recommend them more! Thank you so much for our amazing wedding day!
Stefanie is the best of the best and I'm so happy she was with me every step of the way. She thought of things I never would have remembered. You can tell she has been doing this for years. She knew all the tricks and the right contacts. She kept me focused and everything running smoothly so nothing was missed. I didn't have to worry about anything at all. She made the best day of my life magical. She took my ideas and brought them to life in ways I couldn't have imagined. I'll be forever greatful.
Stefanie was a true pleasure to work with - she made us feel confident and supported in all our decisions, especially because we elected to skip a lot of the traditional customs. We also had a small hiccup with one of our vendors, and Stefanie helped us resolve the issue quickly and even helped us get some money refunded.
HIRE THEM NOW! Stefanie and Macy were magicians before and during our wedding. Their services were easily the most valuable purchase we made for our wedding day and they are the most easy to recommend. Two weeks before our wedding we had a planning call where Stefanie walked us through the whole timeline and helped us create our day. The days leading up to the wedding, she handled communication between our caterer, print services for our programs and seating chart, our band, our chair and table rental company, EVERYONE. We had so many tasks taken off of our plate because of Stefanie and she was responsive and easy to get a hold of leading up to the wedding. On the day of she made things effortless, making sure we were well-fed when we got to the reception, setting up a private dinner for us before we made our grand entrance. We had forgotten to put out metallic sharpies for our guestbook: guess what? Stefanie somehow conjured some out of thin air before guests arrived so that they could sign the book. Somehow everything came together so beautifully and magically on the wedding day and it was 99% due to Your Wedding, Your Way. Stefanie and Macy truly made it so that we could relax and not stress about our wedding day and for that we are so eternally grateful.
Stef Yandell and Your Wedding Your Way is fantastic! In my search for a day of coordinator I spoke to so many larger companies with extremely complicated and confusing terms and conditions. Talking to Stef was a breath of fresh air - she was straight forward and immediately helpful and personable. It was a no brainer to work with her! And then the pandemic hit…. Stef immediately stepped in to help us reschedule - FOUR times. She did this without complaint or extra charges; she genuinely wanted to help.
When we finally had our wedding two years later, it went so smoothly. She incorporated everyone who wanted to be a part of the process - the bride, groom, family members. My husband and I started looking for wedding planners when we got engaged in mid-2020. We interviewed several Austin based planners, and Stef stood out immediately. She’s hilarious, easy going, and made us excited about wedding planning as soon as we got on the phone!
Working with her the next 2 years were an absolute dream! As a couple based in NYC, we had no idea how to start choosing Austin vendors. Stef’s experience in the industry shines through as she has a pulse on all the best vendors — she helped us identify vendors schedule interviews, and negotiate contracts. The whole process was seamless and easy.
Stef is very detail oriented in the best way. She thought about all the details we would have never thought of, and made sure they all tied together. Our wedding was the most magical and incredible day, it would not have been possible without her!

Working with Stefanie the owner was great. She was very hands on & helped out so much especially during the pandemic when we had to reschedule twice! I went through a lot during my wedding month , loosing my last grandparent, financial issues, Texas snow storm, water pipe bursting in my apartment & Stefanie was there giving me encouragement and sending me positive energy. I feel like even though I only purchased month of services I got a little bit more! Cara was my coordinator on my wedding day and she was great! she was very responsive , & so hands-on with everything and I felt comfortable that she could execute my vision flawlessly. Price was reasonable for month of services. Don’t waste your time looking for a cheap coordinator! YWYW was worth every penny!
Your Wedding Your Way was an absolute dream to work with!! We did the month-of package and I cannot recommend it enough! Stefanie answered every question perfectly no matter how stupid I thought it might be and gave me and my husband so much peace of mind throughout the entire process. The month of questionarre and e-mail questions made me feel like I was as prepared as possible after not knowing how everything would come together! A planner makes the month before craziness that much more manageable, HIGHLY RECCOMEND this team! My rehearsal and day-of team made sure everything was set and taken care of and I had a highly enjoyable, not at all stressful day thanks to them!
Our wedding was originally scheduled for April of 2020. Due to Covid-19, of course, like many people, our wedding had to be rescheduled. Stefanie was wonderful throughout the hopeful and fun process of planning our original wedding (before we knew we were going to have to postpone). She helped us with the exciting and somewhat stressful processes and really streamlined it and made it as easy on us as possible.
When is did come time for the heartbreaking decision, Stefanie helped us again through that whole process with sympathy and still a smile on her face for hope for the future. Our rescheduled wedding date was March of 2021. Actually would've been today. We again could not proceed with the wedding due to Covid, and this time, we decided just to cancel outright. Stefanie coordinated the cancellations and any refunds/credits with all our vendors, and never made us feel guilty or worse (than we already felt). She helped us with every aspect of the wedding planning through the rescheduling through the final cancellation.
Stefanie has been wonderful, responsive, kind, sympathetic, hopeful, and flexible with our needs and wants in every way. We could not have asked for a better experience with a wedding planner, despite the sad ultimate outcome.
On a side note, we did get married, but it was not the original large wedding we had planned. Even for the living room wedding we did have though, Stefanie found us a judge to come to our house at the very last minute to perform the ceremony. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients!
I only have two bits of advise for any couple looking to get married 1) marry the love of your life and 1) hire Stefanie from your wedding your way as your wedding coordinator. If you follow these two bits of advise you will with out a doubt have a better wedding than you ever imagined possible .
My husband and I got married while I was in the middle for graduate school and Stefanie helped worked around my schedule to make sure everything was planned in a way that would not add stress to my husband and I's already busy lives.
Stefanie and Joleen made sure that our wedding day was a dream come true. I seriously attribute how great my wedding was to having fabulous coordinators and marrying my best friend!
Stefanie is the absolute best! She made the wedding planning so easy and made my daughter’s wedding such an enjoyable experience from start to finish! She was timely on her responses, provided answers to all our questions, kept us on track and conducted herself very professionally throughout. We will miss working with her now that the wedding is over! 5 stars are not enough!
Stefanie is just the best! Every interaction was helpful, and I knew I could rely on her for everything. I do event management for a living, and I knew I needed someone I could really trust so that I could let go and really enjoy the whole process. Stef lived up to every expectation! The whole process was easy and transparent, and I could be as involved as I wanted. The day of the wedding everything was perfect, and even if something did come up I definitely didn’t even know! She helped with all the big stuff, but even little things too that really made a difference in the end. It’s been a year now since the wedding and I still miss her and remember fondly what a great job she did.

Stefanie and her team absolutely crushed it at our wedding! We hired Your Wedding, Your Way for their 'month of coordination' services. They did a great job reviewing all of our contracts, making sure we had taken care of all the details, building a diagram and timeline for the day of, saving us a bit of money by finding some mistakes, and coordinating the day of flawlessly. Honestly, everything went so well that my other friends who had just been married were saying 'man I wish I had hired your wedding planner'. The team also dealt with last minute emergencies like running out of an ingredient for our signature drink, and went to go get more during a slow point in the night. In addition, these guys are a great value! Significantly less expensive than competitors offering the same month of services. Don't think about it--just book these guys!
We had just the most fantastic experience with Your Wedding, Your Way. Stefanie helped us every inch of the way with caring and thoughtful guidance, every single suggestion she made was so appreciated. She helped us lock down our budget, gave us some direction on venues and vendors and we were off to planning! We ended up doing the one month option, but she was always available and made me laugh so much along the way, which was greatly appreciated as I tried to pretend to not be stressed out! Honestly, this woman is incredible and helped me keep my sanity through the whole thing.
We had Cara run the show for our actual wedding day, and she was awesome!! The day was beyond smooth, she took incredible care of us, they truly are experts at what they do. I'm so grateful that they helped to make our day so smooth, and I would recommend them to everyone!
YWYW was a great service to work with for the wedding. Their "month of" package was definitely worth it. I plan events often so I did not need support the entire year before my wedding, but it was amazing to have someone take over the vendor coordination a few weeks out. For that coordination and the creation of the day of timeline it is definitely worth it to get a coordinator from YWYW. Day of Cara was great at organizing all of the events. She was firm with the guests and operations, but light hearted in nature. We enjoyed our time with her!
Cara with YWYW is the best. We worked with her for the month-of services. We had already planned most of the details by the time she got on board (or so we thought), but had some 'eleventh hour' vendor complications arise that she helped immensely on. Cara made sure everything was taken care of and did her best to make sure that we weren't stressed out. By the day of our wedding I wasn't even thinking about the details, which is so unlike me -- but all because I knew I was in good hands.
Stef and Lindsay were the best decision I made for my wedding. Their spreadsheets of every last detail made me drool during our consultation and they were always available to jump in and calm my wedding nerves. My first venue closed and Stef calmly walked me through all my options and even took the initiative to help me get my deposit back when we changed venues. It was so great to show up on the day of my wedding and not have to worry about a damn thing. All the decor was put out and people were all in the right spaces at the right times. There was a snafu with the catering where I was given food I was allergic to and Lindsay checked in to see what changes needed to be made to our timeline and what that meant for the rest of the evening. I would definitely recommend booking the late leave package because all our stuff magically (aka Lindsay) ended up in our car and we just got to drive off into the night. When I said we were working with YWYW, every single one of my vendors breathed a sigh of relief and said "You're in good hands." These ladies know their stuff and are a huge part of what made my wedding so amazing.
Stefanie, Lindsay, and Jolene are amazing! Stefanie brought us the A-Team with the florist (providing us with unique ideas and fresh blooms), catering (mouth-watering BBQ and top-notch services for a great price), hair/makeup (I swear these artists could have been
personal HMU to the stars!), invitations (she helped us with ordering and mailing out), the Officiant (who was humorous and incredibly down to earth), hotographers (ours was hands down THE best - so personable and helpful throughout the wedding with her tips and tricks), and cake (soooooo good, not too rich, just right, and spot on set up and layout). Additionally, Stefanie went over initial details with us and brought up important items that we hadn't considered. The "Your Wedding Your Way" team were always in contact with us and with our vendors to make sure deadlines were met. Lindsay saved us money by having the Caterer handle the linen from premiere and spent time with us going over the final details to ensure all was in order. Jolene was amazing during the reception with her coordinating and prompts. She kept all running seamlessly and on time. Not to mention Jolene finding Beth's rings in the Bridal suite! Our family and friends can't stop talking about how wonderful the wedding was and how valuable the YWYW team and vendors were! We are so blessed to have found them and very fortunate that YWYW coordinated the wedding!

YWYW made my wedding day PERFECT. I contacted YWYW one month out from my wedding. Up until that point I was under the impression I had all of my vendors under control. At the one month point I finally started to consider the size of the task at hand. The challenges of putting the event together became too much to handle and I consider it a literal #blessing that I found YWYW. We had a long Hangout meeting (we were planning our Austin wedding from DFW) that covered LITERALLY every aspect of the wedding, from the lineup of our wedding party to the exit. YWYW got in touch with all of my vendors and made sure they all knew the schedule of events. The day of, I showed up and almost started to cry - everything was coming together perfectly. Cara was helping out the day of and it sincerely felt we'd known each other for years. I trusted her instantly and thanks to the previous Hangout meeting, she knew exactly what to do. It was easy to see this was not her first rodeo. I felt like everything during the ceremony and reception was completely under control. My wedding was unbelievably flawless and I have YWYW to thank in large part. For brides who are on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, my advice is DO IT. Of all the things you pay for with a wedding, my money was best spent at YWYW - no questions asked.
My husband and I are so happy we decided to have YWYW help us plan our special day. We went with the month of, late leave package, and it was perfect for us. The month leading up to the wedding, Stefanie helped us tie up all the loose ends with our vendors, which lifted a huge weight off our shoulders during an already very busy time in the wedding planning process. She was there at the start of our wedding day, and then left us with another planner (who was equally awesome). Our wedding ran so incredibly smoothly. As the bride, I had a lot of things going through my mind that day, but the set up of all the items, vendors and timeline of events was not one of them. My husband and I were able to enjoy the day without any interruptions about logistics or preferences. The whole day flowed perfectly without a hitch. My parents were also so happy with YWYW at the end of the night. All of the items we brought were ready to go and packed in the car immediately after the reception. They were able to head home less than 30 minutes after it was all over. AWESOME!! Stefanie never made me feel silly for asking a question or when I didn't know what I was doing. She's sweet and has great ideas and suggestions. Totally worth it, and would do again in a heartbeat. Thanks Stef!!
Stefanie was great to work with. She is very organized and friendly. When I signed a contract with Stefanie for month of wedding planning services she let me know that she may not be at my wedding, that it could be another YWYW coordinator so I knew to expect that. After meeting with her and one of her associates by Google Hangout and then working with Stefanie exclusively leading up to the wedding I was a little surprised to receive an email 4 days before the wedding that a person who I had never met was going to be running my wedding. I was even more surprised to arrive to the venue and meet that person and find out that she owns her own coordinating business and was contracted out by YWYW. I was never told that my wedding was being contracted out. Because we never spoke with the coordinator that was present there were some details that were not correct but my mom was able to correct them. That being said the coordinator that was there the day of did a great job and I was very happy with her, I just would have loved to meet her before my wedding day.
Stefanie and Lindsay were on top of everything. They took care of every little detail I asked them to and made the evening come together perfectly!!! Best decision getting a planner and coordinator to take care of the little things so I did not have to worry. You need them to do your wedding!!!!
I would not have had the wedding of my dreams if it wasn't for Stefanie and the amazing gals at Your Wedding, Your Way. Seriously?! I felt like I struck wedding planner gold when I first met them! They are so easy to work with and are so well connected that I honestly had the BEST vendors because of them. ALL OF THEM. Whenever I would mention that I was working with Stef, every single one of them had nothing but the nicest things to say about her! That's incredible. I honestly love these girls so much. They knew what I wanted and they worked with me and my budget to ensure that my wedding was exactly what I wanted. Everything (and I mean everything) ran soo smoothly and they had everything planned out to the smallest detail. I had wedding guests already asking me for her contact info and they aren't even engaged or dating yet!
YWYW is worth every penny and they will save you so much money in the end. Call them ASAP and book them. Seriously..... do it.
Stef was our lifesaver. She promptly responded to all our emails and many many questions. She was always supportive, patient, and super flexible! We couldn't have had a better wedding! To be honest, I was getting super stressed with all the logistics, but after meeting up and hashing out all the details, Stef told us that she was going to take the reigns, and now all we had to do was relax. She definitely helped us so much in getting all our vendors on the same page. Stef was unavailable for our actual wedding date, but she informed Jolene and Macy everything they needed to know for our day of. We would definitely recommend to anyone!!! We worked with your wedding your way to plan our October wedding. My fiancé and I live in Washington, D.C. but planned our wedding in Austin at a friend's house. Stephanie was great about giving us advice that I really depended on being so far away and also not really into weddings as some brides are. We were pretty laid back but keen on certain aspects like having a photo booth and welcome drinks. They found us a slow motion photo booth that was so much fun and wonderful bartenders who were really flexible for us. In general, they did a great job about pushing hard for the things that were important to us and keeping us on track for the details that were less important but still needed attention. I would definitely recommend them, especially if you consider yourself to be a bride or groom who wants to plans great party that reflects you and your partner but feel overwhelmed by the craziness that tends to accompany all things wedding.
Cara and YWYW were absolutely fantastic! Worth every penny.
Cara at Your Wedding Your Way was an invaluable help to making our wedding day run smoothly. We contacted her about 45 days before our wedding and she hit the ground running after an hour-long meeting where we discussed everything we had planned or left unplanned. Being spreadsheet nerds, we worked very well with her using Google Docs. Cara also quickly familiarized herself with all our vendors and helped us nail down the last few details we had on our to-do list like getting insurance, planning florals, planning the alcohol order, and hiring hair & make-up. She ran our rehearsal efficiently and kept our wedding day running like clockwork, being very available for calls & texts for the whole weekend. I can't imagine how we could have done it without having her, including the packing up and venue walkthrough at the end of the night. We are so glad we hired her for the 'Loose Ends - Late Leave' package.
YWYW was SO SO helpful in getting me ready for my big day! From big ticket items down to the smallest detail, Cara made sure we were prepared and our day went off without a hitch! She went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and help me find the best vendors to fit our budget. I couldn't have asked for more professional and friendly service. YWYW is also very affordable and for the kind of service you can expect to receive, you won't find a better deal!
I hired Cara to coordinate the day of my wedding and at first I was hesitant about spending more money on my wedding. But I cannot express how much it was worth spending every penny! From the first day they took over the planning literally all of the stress that came with planning my own wedding was gone. Cara was beyond organized and on top of things and thought of details about my wedding day that I didn't even think of (and I am super creative and detail oriented!). I cannot tell you how many people came up to me the weekend of my wedding and talked about how amazing Cara and her staff were- yes that's right! Even my friends and family noticed how on top of things she was! Not to mention her hilarious and fun personality. She had my fiancee and I laughing the whole planning process and even the day of. She made the process of planning our wedding fun and exciting, not stressful. She took all of the stress out of it for us and I am confident our wedding would not have been as amazing or gone as smoothly without her. If you need a day of coordinator, do not hire anyone else!
OUR WEDDING WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED WITHOUT STEFANIE!!! I had no idea what went into wedding coordination until this year, and I'm telling you- this is the best thing we could have ever spent our money on. Stefanie and Cara are the BEST. 5 star service, lovable, responsive, professional, confident, experienced and overall amazing. There is no crisis they can't handle, and most importantly, Stefanie helped us finalize a lot of details that we weren't sure about. She gave thoughtful suggestions without any pressure. Stefanie is all about making your wedding the BEST DAY EVER.
I was so stressed out coming into the last months before our wedding. Our services started 30 days out, and Stefanie literally swooped in and took all my stress off my plate. She has every single detail written out to make sure your vision is executed perfectly. There is a diagram created for the floor plan, the table setting, the seating arrangements- you name it. She handled all of my vendors and finalized every detail with them (details like when they will arrive and leave & how much I owed them etc), and SHE EVEN PICKED UP MY MACARON WEDDING FAVORS!!! I was so stressed on sending one of my bridesmaids to pick them up, and she took the initiative to pick them up AND hand deliver my final payment to my bakery. This is the white glove service I'm talking about here. She's like a fairy god mother!
During the weekend of the wedding, Cara stepped in to handle the ceremony rehearsal and she was fantastic!!! She took charge of a large room of people and got us all informed in less than 45 min. I felt 100% at ease. There was some confusion as to who should sit where since the room was tight, and she handled it so calmly and smoothly. She asked me a few questions and that was it- she had it handled!
The day of the wedding was a dream. Every single detail was perfectly executed. Stefanie is just this beam of sunshine and organization. She has every diagram and spreadsheet on hand to help guide guests and bridal party members to where they need to be. My decor and vision was better than I even imagined. During the wedding, she is cool as a cucumber and will talk you through every step of the way. I am so so glad I paid extra for late night leave b/c her team was able to pack up all my things for me and I could leave the night stress free. I literally fell in love with this woman during this process and you would be silly to not hire her.
We were fortunate enough to have Cara for our September wedding in Austin, TX and were thoroughly impressed with her attention to detail and her fun-loving attitude. She was very easy to get along with and helped quite a bit to de-stress what is a very stressful event in itself. I wish that we had gotten a little more direction as far as things to anticipate the day of than we had gotten, especially when it comes to things like a photography list and traditions that we should be aware of but other than that, she was absolutely fantastic and made our day much less stressful! We would highly recommend her!
My review is long overdue and that has no reflection on my experience with Your Wedding Your Way. Cara was my wedding coordinator. I can't say enough good things about my experience working with Cara and YWYW! I was planning my wedding from out of state, so she was invaluable. She was incredibly patient, easy to communicate with, and professional throughout the whole process. I was so happy to meet her on my wedding day. My friends and family said that they had a great time at the wedding and my husband and I did, too! The day ran smoothly with MUCH credit going to Cara and YWYW. I highly recommend Your Wedding Your Way!
Before our wedding, my husband and I were about as green as one can be for wedding planning. To complicate matters worse, I was also finishing up graduate school in another state. After reading multiple reviews online, I decided to contact YWYW for some assistance.
We booked their services for the month of our wedding and could not be happier with our decision. We were able to handle most of the coordinating but it seemed that YWYW was able to take over right when it got really hectic for us. Stefanie was instrumental in helping us with finishing details, timeline and saving us money in some last-minute services as well. She was able to find a photobooth vendor about a day before our wedding for about half of the price that we would've paid normally! This service ended up being a favorite by our wedding guests. (I highly recommend booking a photobooth vendor since it helps keeps your non-dancing guests entertained.)
Stefanie and her assistant also did an an incredible job with setting up our decorations on the day of, all of our decor was breathtaking.
Please be assured that you cannot go wrong with with the services from YWYW, we had a seamless wedding. All of our guests were very comfortable, Stefanie did an incredible job with coordinating our wedding and organizing our vendors and guests.
Stefanie and her team are the absolute best! I had my wedding at the LBJ Wildflower center in May and it never would have been possible without Stefanie. We had a couple of issues that she made so simple! First- we were using the same area for the ceremony and the reception. She was able to seamlessly transition the space during the cocktail hour saving us a huge amount of work. Also, the venue is not mainly a wedding venue so they had nothing on site. Stefanie did an excellent job working with our caterer, band, DJ, etc. to make sure that all the necessary pieces were exactly where they were supposed to be. We hired YWYW for the month of wedding planning and it was perfect. We found the venue and all our vendors, but she organized all of them the last month and even booked our "get-away car" for us! She thinks of everything! One more wonderful thing I will say about Stefanie is that she handled our family dynamics very well! She gave us tons of options for split family seating, who would walk who down the aisle, all that stuff. Made the tension so much less on the big day. do yourself a favor a go with Your Wedding Your Way! You wont be disappointed!
We were not going to have a wedding coordinator. As the wedding got closer we started feeling a little overwhelmed. We used Your Wedding, Your Way for "the day of" our daughter's wedding. It's really a month and it was definitely worth it. Stefanie and Kaylyn were so nice and easy to work with. There was so much to do that we didn't realize needed to be done until it got closer to the wedding. They took care of everything and everything went very smoothly. We could not have been happier and will recommend Your Wedding, Your Way!
Cara Overhoff was my wedding planner for my big day. To be honest I questioned myself if I needed a wedding planner. I had already done most of the planning when I decided to have Your Wedding, Your way help me for the last month leading up to my wedding and the day of my wedding.
Cara was super friendly and gave her advice on many things such as decorations, wedding sparklers, and guest book ideas. What I was stressed out about was not knowing how everything was going to get to the venue and how it was all going to be arranged. Cara did an excellent job with all of this and made my day stress-free.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Stefanie and Cara with Your Wedding, Your Way. We booked day-of coordination with them about 6 months in advance, and in my original meeting with Stefanie she was very helpful and gave lots of ideas and suggestions we ended up using.
About a month before the wedding, Stefanie let us know that due to an emergency situation, Cara would be taking over as our coordinator. The transition went very smoothly and Cara never skipped a beat in taking over and easing our concerns.
My husband and I had made a couple of rookie planning mistakes throughout the process, so Cara had her hands full trying to take care of all the typical month-of wedding details in addition to trying to help us remedy our mistakes. She was an absolute lifesaver! She basically took over all communication for me with vendors and made herself available to us what felt like 24/7.
Everything on our wedding day went exactly as Cara and I had discussed. My husband and I absolutely cannot imagine what we would have done without her! Even after the wedding, when we were in a bit of a tiff with a different vendor, Cara and Stefanie both went to bat for my husband and I to make sure our voices were heard and that we were satisfied.
Using Your Wedding, Your Way was absolutely the best investment we made for our wedding!

I chose the wedding coordination services that began a month prior to my wedding. I will be honest, they were very sweet and friendly, but not exactly what I expected. In my first meeting with Stefanie, I was told she would be my wedding coordinator. I was very excited about this, as she presented herself as very professional and organized. Sadly, when I received the contract, another wedding coordinator, Cara, was assigned to my wedding. Stefanie apologized profusely for this miscommunication. This was acceptable to me after having spoken with Cara (who was on maternity leave and kind enough to take the time to speak with me). Cara was very friendly, funny, and understanding. Leading up to the wedding, she was helpful. We met a month before with the wedding site coordinator to tack down details. Things seemed to be organized. As well, within the month before Cara had me fill out her Excel spreadsheets of specific details. I am sure this kept her very organized. She was a little difficult to get ahold of on the phone though.
As I have said before, Cara is very nice and friendly. It is not my intention to come across badly. However, I was a little disappointed. The circumstances as they were, Cara was unable to attend the wedding rehearsal due to another client's family circumstances. Which were more than understandable. Cara's assistant was kind, and certainly accommodating in dealing with my sometimes stubborn family. Be that as it may, I believe this limited Cara in specific details of my wedding. Cara and her assistant arrived at 4pm, for my 6pm wedding. Is that normal? Nonetheless, for my wedding my family had chosen to do some of the decor. This was represented in detail in a layout (completed in person with Cara and wedding facility a month prior). After I had my hair and makeup done, I walked over with my bridesmaids to the wedding site to get into my wedding dress. When I walked into the facility, the decor items were not where I had intended their placement (as designated on the layout). Cara told me, "Oh, I thought you had changed your mind," when I asked her about it. Ok, maybe understandable because my family had done the decor (besides flowers). Of course my wedding went off pretty seamless. And I suppose it was due to the "behind the scenes" work. I guess my frustration lies in having to "look for" Cara (and her assistant) multiple times throughout the evening. But hey, my mom says they were very helpful in taking everything down at the end of night. So, that is a plus!
I interviewed 3 different wedding coordinators before deciding that YWYW was the best fit for me. I selected their "day of" package, which was far more than just day of assistance. We met initially to discuss what my vision of the wedding was, and Stefanie was great about throwing out ideas and suggestions, as well as pointing out important things to consider that would otherwise have gone completely ignored. She also gave me lots of great suggestions on how to cut cost without losing quality. Stefanie was professional and very responsive. She went above and beyond to ensure that the vision I had for my wedding was realized, that vendors arrived on time, and if there were any hiccups the day of I certainly knew nothing about it. Wedding guests complimented me on what a great job she did, and at one point she even sent an assistant to go buy some children's Motrin for one of the kiddos that took a spill on some steps. Above and beyond! The cost of the day of coordination was well worth the expense. Her assistance afforded me more time to spend with my guests, rather than run around making sure things were getting done on schedule.
I had the great pleasure to work with Stefanie, Cara and Kaylyn for our wedding this past weekend and I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without them. Stefanie and cara were amazing during the planning process- they really made making decisions easy by providing quotes from several different vendors. Ultimately, all I had to do was pick between a couple of options for each service. I'm a full time graduate student and I cannot imagine trying to plan our wedding by myself. These gals really know what they're doing and they actually made planning FUN! Kaylyn was fantastic as the day of coordinator, so many people raved about how calm and organized she was throughout the whole day. Brides: please do yourself a favor and hire Ywyw immediately. I swear, it'll be the best money you spend!
I hired Stefanie from Your Wedding Your way for the day of coordination which really she starts working with you 1 month before and I am so glad I did! I am a OCD planner and like things a certain way but I knew that on the wedding day I couldn't do everything. Stefanie was a life saver! We talked about the wedding the month before so she was up to date on everything and talked to all my vendors for me it was great! All the little details and things I hadn't thought of Stefanie made sure to go over. For our rehearsal it was short and to the point which was awesome. Then came the wedding day and I was so nervous and I forgot about everything but I knew I was in good hands with Stefanie. She was there to make sure things like the corsages and boutonnieres were put on straight, that the cheesecake arrived on time, that my candles were turned on, that my dessert table was refilled, cut my cakes, passed out my dancing props, made sure that all the vendors were doing what they were supposed to. I was just so overwhelmed and so was my family but Stefanie was always there to save the day and keep things flowing. Little things that came up Stefanie was there to help smooth it over and help me keep my head straight. She was there when I needed her but not hovering over me at all which I loved. I seriously don't know how a bride handles a wedding without a professional coordinator because it's seriously a lot to handle and you don't truly know until you have been through one. So do yourself a favor and if you have to fix your budget do it but you have to invest in a coordinator because you will be so glad you did. TRUST ME! And Your Wedding Your Way is the best! We can't thank Stefanie and her staff enough! Thank you!!!

Stefanie was the best at working within our budget and making our dream come true. She helped keep me and my fiancée on track and organized. I know that I could not have done it with out her. She was always positive and helpful. The contacts and friends she had made with other vendors saved us the amount of money it cost to hire her. I am so glad we hired YWYW. And, I would recommend anyone hire YWYW to coordinate a wedding.
So glad we had Stefanie and her team for the last month of planning the wedding. Have her for the day of was exactly what we were looking for in a Wedding planner. Took care of the details and made sure we all stay on the time line so that everyone enjoyed the reception. The only negative that has nothing to do with Stefanie is that we did not want the night to end. Actually some of my friends stayed in the rocking chairs at Barton Creek until 3:00 am....

I had met with a couple planners before Stefanie and she was the only one I really felt comfortable with. She's very friendly and easy to talk to. She was also kind and flexible enough to work with us and our contract when we had to make a major change to our plans. I booked her for the loose ends, early leave package since I really just wanted someone to coordinate on the day of the wedding. The price was the most reasonable I had found and Stefanie and her assistant ran everything smoothly the day of. She is very organized and offers suggestions and insight without being pushy at all. I'm confident that the more comprehensive services they offer are provided with the same level of professionalism and results!
We can not say enough wonderful things about Stefanie at Your Wedding, Your Way - her hard work made our wedding completely stress free. Everything ran so smooth and I was able to enjoy every minute of my wedding because of their service. Also, we were having major wind issues and her and her assistant re-rolled all of my napkins and helped come with ideas on how to place everything in the weather - so I did not have to stress about it at all! She is AWESOME!
We really struck gold when we found Steffanie and her team at YWYW. I recommend hiring her if you are a bride who actually wants to ENJOY your wedding and not run around worrying about everything like a crazy person. She will take care of every last detail for you, no matter how small or how silly. And she will make it seem effortless, because she is really good at her job.
I was hesitant to hire a wedding coordinator, because I thought my detail-oriented, planning nature would prevail and I could handle everything on my own. Well, maybe if I did not work a full-time job, had an endless number of hours in the day and gave myself a full year to plan the wedding, I could have pulled it off. But with my busy schedule, limited budget and 7 months to plan, I was being a little delusional. It did not take long for me to feel very overwhelmed with all of the details and appointments and plans. Though we only hired Stephanie for the "day-of" services, she was an excellent resource throughout the whole planning process and was invaluable throughout the whole month leading up to the wedding. She always answered my questions promptly and was happy to point me in the right direction if I was unsure of something or needed advice. Since I handled most of the vendor arrangements for the first 6 months, I barely focused on the actual "day of" and the flow of the ceremony, the whole reason for the event! A few weeks before the big day, Steffanie and Kristin sat down with future husband and me at our venue and talked through every last detail of our ceremony and reception to make sure they fully understood our vision for the day and to cross all the "t"s and dot all the "i"s so that we didn't have to worry about it.
On the actual wedding weekend, Kristin and Steffanie worked like ninjas during our rehearsal and, of course, on the day of the wedding. We are probably one of the only couples in the world that didn't have a single thing go wrong at our wedding. I know, it's weird. Looking back almost five months after the wedding, I am confident that YWYW was the key ingredient that made all the difference for us. With Stephanie we found the perfect blend of professionalism with a great sense of humor and ability to make wedding planning FUN and enjoyable. Seriously, hire them without hesitation!

Unfortunately, I have experience in the hospitality industry so my expectations I suppose were higher than normal. What was even more unfortunate though was the complete lack of professionalism that I experienced with Stefanie and Your Wedding Your Way on my wedding day. Even if I had had no prior experience, this was a nightmare. I was originally assigned another coordinator from their company- which was completely unstructured and organized in her emails (this wedding was being planned in a short time period and from a distance but PROFESSIONALS should know how to handel and COORDINATE in these circumstances), so much to the point that I was passed on to the owner- who understandably was the reason her employees lacked the professionalism that was necessary for coordinating events. She was awful. For starters in our meeting the week prior- we were going over her notes in her binder about the day of- I don't know how many times I had made this issue clear in my emails and phone calls but SOMEHOW they missed it again- EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WRITTEN DOWN RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER ON HER NOTES THAT WE WERE GOING OVER- they asked my mother and I- "when is the Father Daughter dance?"- when it clearly states- "Father is deceased their is no Father Daughter Dance." My mother almost burst into tears- this was just cold and proved their lack of focus on individual clients. Every single issue was given -about that much attention- little to none. They never placed my thank you gifts for my guests- so they never got them. They arrived at 4:30 for a 6:30 wedding. She had two helpers that weren't even supposed to be there and she sent MY GUESTS without my knowledge to go get more ice- TWICE- so they missed the family photo immediately after the ceremony and then again during dinner and the speeches. She was rude to my guests when they asked her for direction- i.e. where should we place these water bottles? Her response was a smirk and an "I don't know." Even to THE GROOM- he asked her if the beer should be on ice because it still hadn't been and she was very rude in her response to him as well. She was supposed to be there in advance to take inventory of all items- which she wasn't, so the room where my guests were supposed to gather for air conditioning LOOKED LIKE A BOMB went off from the scattered rental items and garbage everywhere- it was disgusting and horribly embarrassing and this was what I saw just before I walked down the aisle. I couldn't even focus on being excited about walking down the aisle because I was seeing RED from the embarrassment and anger I felt towards my coordinator. The wrong song was cued for my walk down the aisle- which was CLEARLY printed in the program. And then they cued the music at the wrong time for the postlude- so they stopped them and then started them over again instead of just rolling with it. They also didn't help pace or coordinate the ushers with their responsibilities for seating guests. She was helpful leading up to the wedding with some last minute loose ends- finding fans and extra lighting and service. But other than that her day of coordination was pretty much nonexistant which was the real reason we hired her. I could list other mishaps from her lack of direction but the review has limited characters allotted. Too bad you ONLY GET TO DO THIS ONCE, because that is what I will forever remember about my wedding- not the wonderful coordinator who made it all "happen" like you see in "The Wedding Planner".
Stefanie and her team are so great! We hired them for a day of planner. The service starts one month before the ceremony and is fantastic. She called each of my vendors, created and sent a wedding day time line, etc. She went above and beyond what we had expected. I would hire Stefanie and her team right away.
We only hired YWYW for the last month, to carry out all the loose ends and the day of. She jumped in head first with all of my crazy demands and ideas and all my crazy vendors and took charge. She did an excellent job of making light of issues and fixing them before I had time to freak out. They are quite a steal for the money!
