From assisting with your wedding timelines, creating shot lists with our project coordinators, to our talented cinematographers and photographers working with you on your wedding day, then, our award winning editors crafting your love story in a beautiful way so that you are able to enjoy these priceless memories for generations to come. I cannot recommend Yours Truly Media highly enough. After reviewing countless local options, based on the strength of their portfolio we decided to go with Yours Truly. It was absolutely worth every penny and I am so glad we chose to go with them. Our photographers were so warm and friendly on the day of, which made them so easy and pleasant to work with. Having just received our photos back yesterday (turnaround time was about 5.5 weeks) we could not be happier. Even for me, someone generally extremely camera shy who feels un-photogenic, they really captured our happiness and I feel beautiful in my wedding photos.

somethings I wish I knew prior to hiring YTM
Photographers are outsourced .
If you have a 10 hour package it’s really only 9.5 hours.

You can’t choose your own music for the videos .

s nothing in comparison to what they put online or on their Instagram .
For instance, the Instagram trailer and short video we received showed both the bride and groom tripping, sneezing , eyes closed, weird still shots etc ...We asked this to be fixed and it took over three months and two edits to finally receive our finished videos ; instead of the 4 weeks as stated in the contract. They did keep me in the loop with emails...I’ve quoted some of them below .
“Generally, edits do not take this long but due to it being peak wedding season and storms effecting our servers things are taking longer and we appreciate your patience.”
“We wanted to give a quick status update on your raw footage. We are currently experiencing some technical issues that are causing delays for uploading raw footage. We assure you that our team is working as quickly as possible to get this resolved. “
“ Great to hear from you! We had a power outage that stopped the servers from uploading so we are having to go back and re-upload the footage. I apologize for the delay but we will have this to you shortly!”
Another problem we have is the raw footage , we only were able to download the MP4 files.. so we only have half of our footage .
Your expected to download not one , but two apps ,had to buy a $300 thumb drive , and spent 72 +hours trying to download our footage. we were sent both MOV and MP4 Files and only the MP4 videos will play.
Company offered $300 compensation for the $8,000 that was spent . Overall disappointed because Very little care or detail went into our video . I asked for the shine to be corrected in some pictures they never got back to me ... positive note we do have some amazing photos and gorgeous videography which we are so grateful for. Our crew was great it’s the editing that seems to be an issue and lack of responsiveness from the owners .... I’ve exhausted myself and my patience with this company. Just disappointed , I feel they rushed the final
Project and wish they had a solution on getting my the rest of my raw footage .

e love everything!! Video is amazing ! It made everyone cry and we really appreciate all the time and effort." We were so glad that you had loved all the time and care put into your video. We were slightly confused when you then requested a decent amount of re edits. We always want our couples to love their final videos and photos so we were happy to do a complimentary round of edits. However, after receiving numerous rounds of requests our team essentially created multiple videos for you in the end, which would have resulted in thousands of dollars in edit time. And again, we were happy to do this without charge to ensure you had a video that you loved to look back on for the rest of your marriage. In the end, we had hit a point where we want to ensure our company is not being taken advantage of and trusted the positive remarks after each re edit was completed that you have something you will love for years to come.
To address any further remarks we definitely are transparent that we hire on photographers and videographers in all regions that are trained to shoot in our signature style, and all editing done in house. The 30 min-1 hour prep time is not taken out of our contract package time, but our shooters arrive early to scope and set up. Additionally, you absolutely can select your music, we actually encourage our couples to do this. Looking back, it looks like you selected yours roughly a week before your wedding day. As for any mishap moments such as sneezing, eyes closed, etc. we capture the content in full and if these natural moments take place during the ceremony or any major time frames we want to ensure you do not lose that content. However, as mentioned we were happy to edit your videos more to remove as you requested. As for the raw footage, we do apologize again that you experienced any issues downloading. We do not require any apps to be downloaded or hard drives to be purchased. That is solely our couples preference if you choose, as the content can be downloaded straight to your computer.
We definitely are sorry if you have left with any negative thoughts regarding YTM and your experience as that is never our goal. We strive to deliver exceptional service and exceed expectations with our photos and videos we deliver. We truly are wishing you all the best and hope that you cherish the final videos and photos shared with you!

raphy, and can be very picky when it comes to photo and editing styles, but I also wasn't trying to break the bank - so I did A LOT of research before even reaching out to anyone.
When I came across Yours Truly Media and had my first phone call with Amy, I instantly knew it was meant to be! She made me feel as if our wedding was her only concern, and worked with us to create the perfect package to fit all of our needs. We ended up booking YTM almost two years out from our actual wedding date, and I can honestly say I never once questioned my decision of booking with them. No matter when I reached out to the team via their HoneyBook platform, someone always got back to me and answered all of our questions.
The day-of team was INCREDIBLE, and we are in love with how the photos and the video came out. Our guests are still talking about how the 5 minute video captured the essence of the entire night and all of the love that was being celebrated. I have and will continue to recommend YTM to all of my friends and family that get engaged, as I know they will not be disappointed!

ing planning process because this was the most important vendor to me. I chose Yours Truly Media because they offered both photo and video, they threw in extras (Instagram video, raw footage), they traveled (which was important because we got married on Catalina Island and you can only get there by boat), the price was right, and most importantly they were so nice, accommodating, and very communicative about the process!! Starting from the very beginning they sent us videos about what to expect and what we need to do next. And before the big day we were in constant contact about timeline, special wants/needs, etc… Our lead photographer, Joseph, also contacted us before our wedding and we had a long conversation about us as a couple and what we envisioned for our photos.
Now, our wedding day arrived and let me tell you… I was a stress ball. Destination weddings are difficult to pull off and all of the details were weighing on me. But, the photo/video process was seamless. Joseph and the Yours Truly Media team arrived early and began working their magic immediately. I felt so COMFORTABLE with them!! They were making me and my girls laugh and actually really brought me into the moment which was so special. And even though the rain began to fall, we still got the BEST photos of my husband and I with the gorgeous view of Catalina.
The photos and video came back in a very timely manner. I believe about a month (they sent photo teasers which kept me happy in that 4 weeks hahaha). We cherish the photos so much and have been looking at them nonstop. We get compliments on them all the time. And the video! Let me tell you… we have watched our wedding video about 1 million times. It is so special and something we will always have to look back on.

eographers at our wedding was easy and fun, and when we got our video is was beautiful. Being the annoying customer that I am, I brought up points that I wanted removed in the video and replaced with other footage and they were SO amazing about it. I want to be clear that it wasn't any lack of creativity or editing from the editors, but there were just other moments that were more special to us as a couple. They were completely understanding and did just as we asked!

us not knowing who my videographers and editors would be (since it's such a big company, you hire the company and don't know who will be your shooters until the day of) but it turned out amazing. They were extremely responsive to my communication prior to the wedding, very organized, and on time the day of. I was able to send them examples of videos I liked and they followed all of my requests that I wanted included (like music, what I wanted included in my short video, certain shots, etc.). Our 5 minute video perfectly captured the feel of the day, from start to finish. And we got our video 2 or 3 weeks after the wedding, which was impressive. With photo and video, you get what you pay for and YTM was well priced and worth every penny!

The team is simply amazing. We received outstanding service from our initial conversations, and throughout the wedding planning process they answered our questions patiently and professionally. Not only did they arrive on time on the day of the wedding, they also finished taking the drone shot prior to our contracted time began despite it being their first time working at the venue - they must have arrived way earlier to scout around. In less than a month, we received our highlight video. Due to a miscommunication and misunderstanding, we weren’t entirely satisfied with our video, so we raised our concerns to the operation manager Joe. He patiently listened to our feedback and went the extra mile to work with us and redo the video to our liking. The revised video went above and beyond our expectations. We have watched the video over a hundred times and still feel very touched every time we watch it. A few of our friends even cried after watching it.
My wife and I feel very fortunate to have hired such company that truly cares about their customers. They put in their best ability to make sure that the wedding video is indeed what the customer likes. We are beyond satisfied - we know we made the right choice. packages they offer. If I could go back and do anything differently with them, my husband and I would have paid for the biggest package. Initially we wanted to spend the least amount as possible because we originally weren’t going to hire a videographer and it wasn’t a priority for us, but now that we see the final product, we so wish we just went all out with them and would upgrade if we could. I highly recommend if you hire them, to follow that advice. It’s really worth it. They try to accommodate to all of your requests from scenes you want captured to music played, etc. Amy and Joe were wonderful to work with- phone calls with them were great because they’re so easy to talk to. I was also impressed with how quickly they got back to me every time because they’re in California and I am in Florida. Some vendors take way too long to respond and it makes wedding planning stressful, so it was so nice working with a company like YTM. The videographers who shot my wedding were wonderful as well and fit right in with our wedding party. I inquired with a few other companies and when you look at packages, pricing, and quality of videos, I promise you Yours Truly Media is the absolute best choice!

So many wedding videos that I watched had the background filled completely with dialogue from the officiant, toasts, vows, etc., and I think the most beautiful wedding videos are the ones that allow the perfect song to do the talking. Our video turned out SO perfect, we watch it all the time to relive our wedding day and we LOVE sharing it with family and friends. It has the perfect amount of dialogue in it so that the words of the song can be enjoyed while only the most important parts of the ceremony and reception are included in the audio. The YTM team worked to make sure they knew what we wanted, stuck with us through all the planning and scheduling, and provided us with the most beautiful wedding video that we will always cherish!! I cannot recommend Yours Truly Media enough!!

The turnaround time on the finished highlight videos was around 3 weeks, which was one of the reasons we liked them so much! mera. Yours Truly is the only way to go for such an occasion. Sarah and I couldn't have been happier with the team from start to finish. We really felt comfortable with Amy (she is very personable) as talked about the company when we first made contact. We originally just went with the highlight package, the 3-5 minute video. A few months later, we were able to meet Joe in person and after talking with him in depth and him understanding what we wanted, he suggested to upgrade the package to the 5-7 min video. Joe was not pushy but rather trying to get us the best bang for our day. After discussing the upgrade with Sarah over the next few days and making financial adjustments, we decided to take a leap of faith and upgrade. That was best decision we could have made and so glad we did as the Yours Truly team captured everything and more about our wedding. We had beach wedding so capturing the environment was key and fortunately they were able to fly the drone for various portions of our wedding (including the sparkler send-off). But more importantly, they captured who Sarah and I were as a couple and what was important to us. They highlighted our families and even incorporated our siblings narrating throughout the video. Yours Truly took the time to make our video unique and made it different from all the other videos one can see floating around. We have watched the video so many times and we are proud to show all our families including some of the grandparents who could not make it. If you haven’t made up your mind by the end of this, you are overthinking it. Take it from a guy who went through just about all of the videographer vendors on major wedding sites and who came back to this company. Let them video one of the happiest days of your life because that day will fly by, but don’t worry – you will be able to relive it over and over again thanks to Yours Truly Media.
