Also, even though we hired her months before our wedding, she kept in touch throughout- checking in, giving pointers, acting as a voice of reason. As we neared our wedding (~3 months), Jane reached out with useful checklists and timeline templates for us to fill out / be familiar with. She also helped provide last minute wedding contacts when we needed it (e.g. HMU, transportation). She provided much needed advice and suggestions along the way, which we welcomed given her years of experience planning events in NY. On our wedding day, Jane was a beacon of calm as we went from a noon tea ceremony, to first look, then catholic church wedding and finally our rooftop reception, with two full outfit changes along the way. Even during the reception, we had a lion dance, full band, and table to table ganbei’s, and Jane was with us every step of the way. Only thing I wished I did differently was to have her for more hours during our wedding! She was wonderful and I would recommend her to other brides, whether for the month of services or even day of.

One of the most important things for me was to have my ceremony run on time so I could get magic hour photos and I am so happy to say that everything went so smoothly and I got my photos! Jon was an incredible DJ – we were on the dance floor the ENITRE time! He was the exact vibe we were going for and we got so many compliments from our guests. He was able to read the room so well and one of my favorite moments of the wedding was when he played ‘We Are Family’ and both my husband and I’s families all danced together! For someone like me who is often anxious and paranoid, not only did she put me at ease the month before the wedding but the day of I was able to completely let go of all the concerns, only because I fully trusted Jane to manage everything. We had a ton of different vendors and a lot of DIY, all of which is handled effortlessly and confidently. She also gave us invaluable advice throughout and built a good rapport with our vendors. She thought of details and potential issues that I would not/could not have thought of and would make sure to get my input and opinion but then would take care of everything. At (and after!) the wedding, I got compliments on Jane’s professionalism and her stellar ability to stay on top of vendors and timing. She also made sure all the DIY was taken care of and stayed at the venue after everyone had left (including me and my husband) to ensure that the venue was spotless and taken care of. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have had the perfect, most seamless wedding if Jane wasn’t our coordinator. She went truly above and beyond. I also can’t say enough about Jon. He was so easy to work with, gave us everything we needed to know which made it easy. He also familiarized himself with the venue so that not only was he our DJ but he ended up helping us with sound questions for our ceremony band, including providing recommendations for extra sound equipment for them to rent. Lastly, he was such a fun DJ! Played the best songs (also got a ton of compliments on the song choices) and handled all the transitions seamlessly (both music and emceeing) It was perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend.

corral all of our vendors, which was no easy feat (we got our dessert from a small shop and they frequently dropped off the grid!) The day of our wedding she worked hard to keep us on schedule and make sure things went well. Some highlights for me: - got me out of the hotel on time - made sure we drank water while we were taking a million pictures - got us down the aisle on time - made sure we got to eat, even during cocktail hour! - when our lights wouldn't dim, she was immediately on the phone with the vendor and got it figured out - did all of the cleaning (along with the caterer) and gathered all of our items that we were keeping - if it weren't for her, we definitely would not have been out on time because I had no concept of time. - when we realized my parents didn't take a decorative mirror with them, Jane kindly took it home with her and then DELIVERED it back to us. It was really sweet and truly an act of kindness. I can't thank Jane enough for making sure our big day went well - I don't know what I would have done without her!

not an event planner, I've never been married before, I've never planned a wedding, and it's only one day! It's overwhelming to even know what you're supposed to ask, let alone get done, on a day that is so important, and costs a lot of money. Being a bride that has an aesthetic but didn't want the day to feel overdone or so overly planned, Jane had great direction for the things that I didn't have a strong opinion on, or have a good sense or vision for, explaining the pros and cons of each option. Should we do the ceremony outside and reception inside, or vice versa? The venue's coordinator had a ton going on with the several weddings she had going on, so to be able to have Jane correspond with her was a weight off of my shoulders. This is maybe just specific to me, but our caterer was Korean speaking and it was tremendous that Jane was able to communicate with them also. Jane's personality is cool and calm while being productive and efficient and to be able to have that energy during a stressful time was so helpful. We were so thankful for Jane. Would recommend her to everyone I know ten times over.

communication with all vendors. On our wedding day, Jane and John delivered on every aspect -- keeping everyone in check and, most importantly, keeping Richard and I stress-free! At the end of the wedding, they packed our belongings as we had requested, all vendors were paid accordingly, and load out was completed per the venue's rules and policy. But Jane and John's services didn't end there. A couple of days after our wedding as we were preparing to leave for our honeymoon, the venue contacted us about a damage that would cost our whole security deposit. Jane was very quick to jump in and speak on our behalf -- allowing us to leave for our honeymoon stress-free knowing that Jane was handling it for us! We have nothing but high praises for Jane and John for their services and we would highly recommend them!

tireless efforts to see that vision come to fruition was OVER THE TOP. I hired Jane to step in and take the reins six weeks prior to my daughters wedding. I’m a very organized and capable working woman ….but even the best among us wants to be able to take a deep breath at some point and enjoy the special time before the wedding…and certainly the last few weeks. I needed guidance in certain area’s and I wanted a partner ( other than my extraordinarily talented daughter ) - I didn’t know at the time that I would have so much confidence in Jane that I would happily and eagerly surrender the process to her . Several executives I know ( including my daughter ) had encouraged me to meet with Jane - they sung her praises loudly, both professionally and personally. Her prices were very reasonable. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain and BOY DID I. I am now one week post wedding and have had time to really reflect on just how much Jane’s expertise afforded me. We had our first meeting at my daughters apartment. Jane asked us exactly what we had accomplished thus far, the venue, the band, the flowers,… the big stuff…. She guided the discussion drawing from us our vision, our expectations etc. I knew immediately - just by the detail oriented questions that were asked that I was way out of my league and immediately beyond happy that I had made the decision to hire Veil and Vinyls to carry the ball as there was no shot I would have been able to enjoy this special time and maintain my sanity without their guidance and help. We were off to a great start. After that meeting we provided Jane with all of our contact information for everyone and anyone involved with the wedding. We shared a google file with all of our contracts, timelines, photo boards, to-do lists etc. She then became the main liaison with all of the vendors - always keeping us in the loop, consulting us before any decisions were made -100% eliminating the drudgery and hassle of the event planning aspect and the myriad of details that go with from our day to day lives. AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. Another huge bonus.. Jane knew where and how to negotiate some of these over the top contracts. I would never have had a clue. She is keenly aware and sensitive of spending your money. She is there to help you save money a very respectful and unexpected aspect and added bonus that I most appreciated and so will any of you rewarding this review. Wedding expenses are no joke and anywhere you can save…. Yay. When all is said and done, and its Go time - THIS IS WHERE YOU LOOK UP AND THANK GOD you have Jane and her team by your side. The day of the wedding. Until you have experienced this, you can’t even imagine… especially if there is a bridal party ,change of venue, and photographers etc involved. Jane had drawn up a time line that had every 10 minutes of the day scheduled for not only the bride, the groom, the bridal parties, the make up artists, the food being delivered to the suite’s , the first look photo’s … I mean…. She practically had time built in for bathroom breaks. It is not easy to manage a bridal party of 24 ( YES, 24 ) and several locations and do it all with 110% POISE and CALM. Always smiling. us understand our contract with the venue, and led rounds of negotiations for price and deliverables. This included planning a welcome party, the ceremony/reception, and a Sunday brunch. As our liaison with vendors, she kept us protected from all of the back-and-forth while still checking in with us for necessary approvals along the way. Once everyone had successfully arrived on the island, Jane coordinated everything, making the weekend an absolute dream. If any small issues arose, Jane troubleshooted with the venue coordinator and only conferred with me when she thought it was absolutely necessary. She also seamlessly led the transition of the pool side reception to an indoor reception because the weather turned a couple of hours before the ceremony. As a bride, this stressed me out, but Jane did everything in her power to mitigate the situation. We will forever be grateful for Jane’s services. She helped create the absolute best weekend of our lives. Jon also was our MC and DJ. He was professional in his approach and was incredibly prepared for the day/night to run smoothly. We received so many compliments on his dance set, some saying it was the best wedding music they had encountered. This is coming from a group of people (me in particular) who are very picky about music/dance/venue vibe. The entire reception party was dancing for hours!
