The team at Z Catering were the perfect choice for our wedding day. They were extremely professional, accommodating, and had a surplus of options for us to choose from. From our tasting to our special day, the food was always phenomenal and fresh.
Additionally, our fusion wedding featured supplemental Indian food provided by our favorite local restaurant, which the Z Catering team was able to receive and distribute flawlessly as if it came from their own kitchen. With all of the additional staff and food, they didn’t miss a beat and were able to provide our guests with a unique fusion experience; it really seemed like they could handle any scenario.
We loved working with them throughout the process and our guests raved about everything! Thank you again to the Z Catering team, we cannot recommend them enough!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the catering at our wedding — it was truly one of the highlights of the entire day, and our guests haven’t stopped raving about it since!

From the moment the reception began, the servers and bartenders were incredibly attentive, warm, and professional. They made sure every guest felt cared for, always had a drink in hand, and didn’t miss a beat when it came to clearing plates or bringing out the next round of hors d’oeuvres. It felt like a five-star dining experience!
Now… the FOOD. WOW. I’m still dreaming about it.
The vegetable spring rolls were perfectly crisp, fresh, and flavorful. The charcuterie board was a work of art, beautifully arranged and packed with a delicious variety of cured meats, cheeses, fruits, and nuts. It was both a visual and culinary masterpiece.
But the absolute star of the show? The braised beef short ribs. Oh. My. Goodness. They were melt-in-your-mouth tender, rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I couldn’t believe this wasn’t some sort of upgrade — it was just part of the standard wedding package, but it tasted incredible. I may or may not have eaten all of my new husband’s portion because I couldn’t get enough. (Sorry, babe!)
And let me say: it's rare to find catering at a wedding that tastes this fresh, this high-quality, and this memorable. They absolutely nailed it.

We could not get over how good Z Catering's food was. Wedding food can occasionally be underwhelming, but Z Catering made us feel as though we were eating at a high-end restaurant....
Our guests loved every meal, appetizer, and dessert. There was an incredible variety of flavors - from the arancini balls, salmon with blood orange sauce, and cannolis to close out the night. All food we tasted was delicious, and the servers were very friendly, making sure glasses were refilled and plates turned over promptly. We also opted to get our day-of coordinator through Z Catering, and Deanna was lovely to work with, making sure everything went smoothly and that our decorations were set up and taken down at the end of the night. You will not be disappointed booking with this talented team!

was also very convenient to work with them for our offsite, non-traditional venue. We rented their food truck and all we had to provide was a folding table. The day after the wedding, most people were still talking about the passed apps and the short rib at dinner!
Second, they were very accommodating of our beverage requests. We wanted rose wine and a local beer that they don’t normally include, and they subbed them at no additional cost. They also saved me the last bottle of rosé when it ran out, which I thought was a thoughtful touch.
Overall, I thought Z catering did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. The only downside was that their prices increased after we signed our contract, and when I requested anything outside of our original quote, it was extremely expensive to add anything additional on to our package (i.e., $385 to cut 2 sheet cakes or $2000 to add liquor to the already open bar). But your mileage may vary! Definitely not a reason not to book an otherwise great caterer, in my opinion.

When planning for a wedding, I tried not to think about too many things that could go wrong by staying up to date with my to-do lists and staying in touch with vendors.
ZCatering ...
proved to be our worst wedding decision. While the food and service on the day of were excellent and received high remarks, the process of working with Zcatering was horrendous.
From lack of response to rude management, we found the lack of professionalism to be shocking for a company with generally good reviews. Our management team either ignored our messages or made false claims and later billed us for mistaken headcount (and still will not reply to messages asking for that money back.)
During our tasting, they accused us of being late, refusing to see the email verification we had of the date and time (we were actually minutes early). Not once did the manager apologize for how we were treated or acknowledge wrongdoing on their behalf.
Then began the lack of communication.
Then, the day before our wedding (!!) when I had still not heard back, our scheduled coordinator said she was out of state and would have a replacement handling our day-of catering. I was absolutely outraged by the lack of communication and the last minute change without any notice (had I not phoned nonstop).
I cannot recommend Z Catering whatsoever. The food and wait staff may be great, but it is not worth the headache and stress and disrespect we dealt with leading up to our wedding. (Not to mention they still owe us money.) so disappointing.

ginning, the staff was friendly and responsive. Our tasting was amazing, and when we wanted to switch some of the sides around on our entrees it was no issue at all. The food itself is amazing and the portions were generous! We had so many compliments on the food and we ourselves enjoyed it immensely! Z was by far the cheapest option in our area, so we were honestly expecting a slightly lesser quality of food than some weddings we've been too, but that really was not the case at all. The food and the experience were all amazing and we couldn't be happier with our decision!

We also used Kristin's wedding coordination and it was so worth it because we didn't have a wedding planner.
The food was a highlight for a lot of guests, who even told us they are sometimes skeptical of wedding/event food. We also opted (because of COVID) to not do a self-serve table for cocktail hour and increased the number of passed appetizers. So glad we did.
The bar was also a big highlight, and working with our bartender in advance, we were able to collaborate on signature cocktails and bar offerings perfect for our event.
The team also made it so easy for us to not worry about decor setup or breakdown and they absolutely crushed it. It was a huge relief to see it all set up.

Kristin found a time for us to go in and just have a conversation with her about our options. She sat with us at the end of our meal and went over our options. After our meal at The Barn, we knew we wanted to use them for our event. Kristin then set up a tasting with the hors d'oeuvre we were considering. We met some of the team and had an amazing testing. We had so much fun just getting to talk to the team and eating such delicious food. For the event it's self, the food was INCREDIBLE and the team was absolutely amazing. So kind and so fun! When I began the wedding planning process, I truly thought in my head "I've never gone to a wedding and remembered the food" and I know now that I had just never been to a wedding with the level of professionalism, and delicious food that Z Catering provided. Our guests are still contacting us saying how amazing every single dish was, even the vegetarian option which in my experience is often overlooked. The steak was cooked just as I would order in a restaurant! The staff was so friendly, and it truly warmed my heart to see them poking out to watch the ceremony :) I would HIGHLY recommend Z Catering to every bride looking for upscale dining that doesn't break the bank!!
