Z Catering

Z catering catered my wedding and I couldn’t be happier with them! Their hors d’oeuvres, slider bar, and buffet dinner were all a hit. The wait staff was so attentive and the bartenders kept everyone happy without much of a wait. They were also kind enough to box up our leftovers for us to enjoy later. Shawnna and Dana were incredibly helpful. Thank you Z catering!

I highly recommended Z catering! The coordinator Shawnna, the onsite manager Heather and the owner James, everyone I worked with were very kind and responsive. Z catering was the first catering I booked a taste with and I decided there is no need to try others. The food is super delicious and the presentation is pretty as well. The fried chicken served as late night snacks won the hearts of all the guests. I kept receiving compliments from my guests. Lots of them said they have never expected the wedding catering can be at this level! I give 200/100 to the team!

First, let me say that the food was absolutely out of this world. We had several people tell us that it blew their expectations for wedding food out of the water and we agreed. It was also very convenient to work with them for our offsite, non-traditional venue. We rented their food truck and all we had to provide was a folding table. The day after the wedding, most people were still talking about the passed apps and the short rib at dinner! Second, they were very accommodating of our beverage requests. We wanted rose wine and a local beer that they don’t normally include, and they subbed them at no additional cost. They also saved me the last bottle of rosé when it ran out, which I thought was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I thought Z catering did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. The only downside was that their prices increased after we signed our contract, and when I requested anything outside of our original quote, it was extremely expensive to add anything additional on to our package (i.e., $385 to cut 2 sheet cakes or $2000 to add liquor to the already open bar). But your mileage may vary! Definitely not a reason not to book an otherwise great caterer, in my opinion.

The food coordinator (Shawnna) and the beverage coordinator (Kurt) who stepped in to support were great to work with and super responsive. Once we put down a deposit, we got to enjoy a free tasting and cocktails, which was an awesome bonus. Although it was expensive to have them cater our wedding, the food was good. The happy hour appetizers were the best by far! It was a stress free experience working with Z catering because we felt confident that they would handle all of our worries professionally, which they 100% did. Our head server the day of the wedding was exceptional! Grateful!

Z Catering truly was the best and their team deserves a five star review. There was not one complaint about any of the food. In fact, it was only rave reviews (we did a wedding reception brunch buffet - highly recommended). Everything was delicious and plentiful. The Z catering staff was incredibly kind and gracious (guests actually mentioned this to us). The unlimited bar package was worth every penny. Literally nothing to complain about here. Perfect from start to finish. Thank you Z Catering!

When planning for a wedding, I tried not to think about too many things that could go wrong by staying up to date with my to-do lists and staying in touch with vendors. ZCatering proved to be our worst wedding decision. While the food and service on the day of were excellent and received high remarks, the process of working with Zcatering was horrendous. From lack of response to rude management, we found the lack of professionalism to be shocking for a company with generally good reviews. Our management team either ignored our messages or made false claims and later billed us for mistaken headcount (and still will not reply to messages asking for that money back.) During our tasting, they accused us of being late, refusing to see the email verification we had of the date and time (we were actually minutes early). Not once did the manager apologize for how we were treated or acknowledge wrongdoing on their behalf. Then began the lack of communication. Then, the day before our wedding (!!) when I had still not heard back, our scheduled coordinator said she was out of state and would have a replacement handling our day-of catering. I was absolutely outraged by the lack of communication and the last minute change without any notice (had I not phoned nonstop). I cannot recommend Z Catering whatsoever. The food and wait staff may be great, but it is not worth the headache and stress and disrespect we dealt with leading up to our wedding. (Not to mention they still owe us money.) so disappointing.

Z Catering was perfect for our wedding reception! We had 90 people on a Saturday in the middle of fall wedding season, and Z catering delivered an excellent experience! From the beginning, the staff was friendly and responsive. Our tasting was amazing, and when we wanted to switch some of the sides around on our entrees it was no issue at all. The food itself is amazing and the portions were generous! We had so many compliments on the food and we ourselves enjoyed it immensely! Z was by far the cheapest option in our area, so we were honestly expecting a slightly lesser quality of food than some weddings we've been too, but that really was not the case at all. The food and the experience were all amazing and we couldn't be happier with our decision!

We would highly recommend Z catering! We dealt primarily with Shawnna and she was great at catering to our needs. The food was great- so many options to choose from! And the staff that worked the wedding were very friendly and helpful.

Z Catering was great!! At first I was nervous when all the preferred vendors for my venue were booked, but we were so lucky to find Z Catering. We mostly worked with Kristin, Shawnna and Danielle; they were amazing and incredibly responsive from the beginning. We don't live in the area so we booked them without a tasting and we were very pleased with every item we had at our wedding. Shawnna set aside of tray of apps just for us during our cocktail hour so we were able to try everything. Our dinner was delicious as well. The team did a fabulous job coordinating even though our venue was brand new to them.

We could not be more pleased with Z Catering! Their food and hospitality were a total hit at our wedding! The best wedding food out there! Portions were huge, food tasted great and the staff was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guests raved about the foos all night!

Kristin & her team could not have been more of an asset to our day! Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service. The feedback we received from our guests was that this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Our wedding was on what felt like the hottest day of the year, and we can not thank you all enough for all of the details, hard work (especially going up and down that hill 300+ times!), and how comfortable you made us feel not having to worry about anything. That was the best part; knowing that we were leaving the most important details in Kristin's hands and we knocked it out of the park!! We are so grateful for her!!

WOW! Kristin and her team are amazing! The food was delicious, the customer service was on point, and Kristin took my vision for the wedding and truly made it come to life. My husband and I were looking for a caterer that was associated with a restaurant. We are so glad we chose ZCatering/@The Barn Restaurant because our guests haven't stopped talking about how good the food was. Kristin is fun and easy to work with and was also our day of coordinator! If you are looking for a wedding caterer and planner at a reasonable price, look no further!

Thank you so much, Kristin and Z Catering!! We felt so confident going into our wedding with a very green venue with a very seasoned and professional catering team to run the show. We also used Kristin's wedding coordination and it was so worth it because we didn't have a wedding planner. The food was a highlight for a lot of guests, who even told us they are sometimes skeptical of wedding/event food. We also opted (because of COVID) to not do a self-serve table for cocktail hour and increased the number of passed appetizers. So glad we did. The bar was also a big highlight, and working with our bartender in advance, we were able to collaborate on signature cocktails and bar offerings perfect for our event. The team also made it so easy for us to not worry about decor setup or breakdown and they absolutely crushed it. It was a huge relief to see it all set up. Thank you so so so very much for an unforgettable event!

Z Catering did an amazing job providing food and drinks for our wedding! From the planning process (in which we did 2 taste tests at their restaurants because we just could not decide between all the delicious food) to the big day, Kristin and the whole team made sure the day went off without a hitch! Kristin was always an email, phone call or text away with any quick questions. Marissa was our bartender and texted with me to come up with delicious signature drinks and kept the party going all night! Everything from appetizers to dessert was delicious. Cannot recommend them enough!!

Easy 5 Star review and highly recommend! The food was amazing and came out just like it did at the tasting. Highly recommend adding in the mobile bar as well, the selection and drinks were top notch. Vender also brought appetizers to the wedding party while we were taking pictures during cocktail hour. It has been 2 months since our wedding and we continue to receive compliments on the food and bar service.

We can not say enough good things about Z Catering! From our tasting to our initimate wedding dinner the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our guests were all impressed with the food and beverage choices! Kristin and her team (especially Sarah & Joe) went above and beyond for us and we can not wait to use them again for our larger wedding reception in 2021 (covid bride & groom) . Our catering experience started off not so great, then we found Z Catering! Kristin went above and beyond to make us feel confident in what she does. Every single person went out of their way to tell us how amazing the food and the service was at our plated, outdoor wedding. The mobile bar was a huge hit! So cute and perfect for a wedding during theses times! Hands down Kristin is an absolute delight to work with; she literally took any stress I had away. She knows what she’s doing and she’s got an absolute killer personality! She always responds promptly and beyond willing to work with you for anything. She set up our entire venue, it was farm style and just a shell, she transformed it into a beautiful scene. I will never be able to thank Z Catering and Kristin for the effort and flawless evening she provided me and my husband; we are forever grateful.

Z Catering holds a special place in my heart! This incredible team made our wedding reception one to remember. When I reached out to Z Catering it was a pure inquiry. Immediately, Kristin found a time for us to go in and just have a conversation with her about our options. She sat with us at the end of our meal and went over our options. After our meal at The Barn, we knew we wanted to use them for our event. Kristin then set up a tasting with the hors d'oeuvre we were considering. We met some of the team and had an amazing testing. We had so much fun just getting to talk to the team and eating such delicious food. For the event it's self, the food was INCREDIBLE and the team was absolutely amazing. So kind and so fun!
