Susan and her team at Z Events are truly the best! They definitely made the planning process for my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding stress free and smooth sailing! We were so blessed to have had her as a wedding planner and pulling off our special day. Everything was beautiful and we received so many compliments on our wedding and it was all because Susan and her team put everything together perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner, she knows what she is doing! I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding planner. Whenever we needed something or had a question, she always was responsive and quick! The team was always professional and even brought the vendors to us! I was truly amazed by that because how many wedding planners can actually bring the vendors to you to sell their services. She understood our vision and it turned out beautifully! Z event did an incredible job on my outdoor wedding in the backyard. Susan the owner coordinated and referred the best vendors to make this day very special and beautiful. She executed it exactly how I described I wanted it. Susan and her team took time to listen to what I wanted and did not want. Susan Zackin and Z Event Company designed and coordinated a spectacular Rehearsal Dinner evening for 150 guests which my husband and I gave as parents of the groom. We cannot imagine a more perfect evening, thanks to the creativity, attention to detail and professionalism of Z Event Company. 10 stars would be more appropriate than 5! We gave Susan complete control of the design and selection of vendors. We only asked to respect the historic past of the venue, while making the experience contemporary and fun. The result was a truly breathtaking white and gold transformation of the historic Blue Room of the Roosevelt Hotel. Many New Orleans natives remarked they had never seen the Blue Room as beautiful, nor enjoyed a rehearsal dinner so much! The evening began on the gorgeously decorated Roosevelt rooftop where guests enjoyed an amazing cocktail hour at sunset. It ended with a lively Second Line down Canal St to our Welcome Party for several hundred out of town guests at the Palace Cafe, again perfectly designed and coordinated by Z Event Co. We could not be happier that we chose Susan Zackin and Z Event Company to design and coordinate one of the most incredible evenings we can imagine.

My wife, I, and our families recently used Susan and the Z Event team for coordinating and executing an incredible wedding experience. The ideas, attention to detail, professionalism, and execution by the team truly puts Z Event in the highest echelon of event coordinators. Countless examples would portray this which my wife and our families will review on the Knot, but here are two specific examples that directly added to my experience as the groom since I was not as involved in the day-to-day planning as the bride and our parents were with the Z Event team: First, I mentioned in passing at one of our tastings (many months before the wedding) that I’d like to do the Sweetheart of Sigma Chi song and have each Sigma Chi brother give the bride white roses as we did in college to the Sigma Chi sweetheart. I completely forgot to follow up with the staff and frantically reached out to one of the Z Event employees, Andrea, two days before the wedding to see if we could still do this as I thought it would mean a lot to the bride. Andrea told me that they had already planned and ordered dethorned white roses and printouts of the songs for the Sigma Chis to sing from. Second, after the rehearsal at the church we returned to the hotel lobby escorted by another Z event employee, Reilly. The groomsmen had about an hour to kill because we arrived early back to the hotel before the rehearsal dinner so I inquired with Reilly if she knew of anywhere where I could buy some alcohol before the dinner for the guys. Before I could think, Reilly immediately asked what we wanted and was willing to immediately go wherever she could to allow me to stay with my groomsmen and enjoy my time. My confidence that the event would be immensely successful and go off without any issues was never in doubt. I honestly would trust no one like I would Susan and the Z Event team. This confidence was built through the planning and validated by the execution of the event. Susan and her team have a way of making a complex, once in a lifetime event, feel so stress-free and manageable. I will look to Z Event for all future events that require the imagination, planning, and execution that their team so perfectly achieves. Z Event planned our Rehearsal dinner for 75 people, a Post Toast Party for 200, transportation for the wedding party and secured over 50 hotel rooms for our guests. Susan, Andrea and her entire staff were creative with idea's and so easy to work with. I would definately use Z Event again. Thank you for such a wonderful evening!

Z Event was very responsive, did a great job of staging the event, organizing the activity, hiring vendors and generally offering advice whenever requested.

Z Event Company helped with all the tedious logistics so we didn't have to! Especially the week of, they did all the hotel bag deliveries, ordered us last minute outdoor heaters, made every last thing flawless from timeline to checking on us and our parents all day/night, and got everything to the reception and home and even late night cake and food to the hotel! Liz and Andrea were so personable and I felt like it was my best friends helping out. It was the best reassurance to have the weeks leading up to and during the big weekend. I can't thank them enough!

After spending close to a year planning my daughters wedding with Susan Zackin and the Z Event girls (Andrea, Reilly and Susan W), I can honestly say they are like family! They took care of every possible detail and made my job as Mother of the Bride carefree and fun. From the first meeting they understood what we wanted and helped guide us through the entire process, which could have been completely overwhelming. Their knowledge and perception in all aspects of planning was evident as they helped us find the ideal people who could make all of my daughter's ideas and wishes come true. Honestly we could not have done it without them and the compliments we are still receiving to this day are proof to us that we picked the best!

Z Event was instrumental in planning and coordinating all aspects of our son's rehearsal dinner, from transportation for the families, table scapes, cocktail hour, entertainment, dinner menus, and the most fun post dinner party. This is the most wonderful event company with the absolute best people around!! They will make your dream wedding come to life! Susan and her team were incredible to work with all year and after one short visit, seemed to know exactly what I wanted. They took the stress out of the entire process, and made it really fun! Designing the Perfect Day is no easy task. Flowers, lighting, budget, family, friends, timing, food, drinks, accommodation, photos, music, etc all working in harmony. As Mother of the Bride I was apprehensive about the stresses of planning a wedding. I heard from some of my friends that have gone before me that I was going to worry endlessly, spend many sleepless nights and it would be hard for me to enjoy my daughter's wedding. Hiring Susan and her team happily dispelled every fear I could have imagined. They handled every detail to perfection and proved to be logistical strategists. We hired Susan for a rehearsal dinner, after party and a brunch and every event was done with such care and expertise and each was unique and beautiful. Susan put on the rehearsal dinner for my wedding and did a spectacular job. Our rehearsal was at Arnaud's main dining room and seated about 150 people. I was worried they may not all fit. Somehow she managed to transform the room until it was almost unrecognizable, with a setup straight out of a movie. Beautiful white florals and glimmering candles covered the tables, while a jazz band played on the mezzanine to accompany the Sazerac's and champagne. The rehearsal went perfectly and finished right on time so we could get to the after party. Everything was taken care of, and pictures of my wife and I covered the restaurant making us feel right at home. 10/10 job and I honestly don't think it could have gone better.

Susan and her team were awesome- they left no stone unturned! For the wedding reception, they transformed a French Quarter street into a luxurious living room to extend the square footage of Arnaud's restaurant. The bride and groom's cakes were both sensational, as were the flowers. I highly recommend Z Event to anybody who is looking to have a sensational event!

Susan and Jessica were absolutely fantastic wedding planners! They were always available to talk and answer my questions, even from hundreds of miles away during the planning process. They put my mom and me at such ease throughout the whole wedding weekend so we were able to enjoy our friends and family without the stress. When my daughter got married at home on New Years Day there was a torrential downpour. Zeventco kept things humming along, even getting a floor down under the tent in our backyard within hours on a holiday! Everything was beautiful and we had a great time along with our guests.

I was a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding and all I can say is, WOW!!! What an absolutely stunning wedding and reception Z Event Company put on!
