Amy Eisinger is a New York City-based digital writer and editor with a passion for fitness. She is an A.C.E.-certified personal trainer, and PROnatal prenatal and postpartum specialist. She currently serves as the Director of Special Projects for SELF Magazine. Her work has been published in the New York Daily News, The Washington Post, The Knot, The Los Angeles Times, and Cosmopolitan, among others. When she's not at work, Amy enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with her partner, daughter, and dog.
Experience
Amy started her career as an Editorial Assistant for New York Daily News. She was hired by The Knot as an Assistant Editor and was later promoted to Associate Editor. She wrote articles for The Knot’s national and regional publications, contributed to WeddingChannel.com, and appeared as a wedding expert on national and local television shows. Amy spent a few months as an Editor with AOL before assuming a Senior Programming Manager role with Hearst where she launched CosmoBody, a subscription on-demand fitness product. Amy worked as a Senior Editor for Greatist before being hired into her current position with SELF Magazine. She hosts the brand’s Sweat With SELF workout videos.
Education
Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Classics from the University of Florida, and her Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University.
