She loves being able to help people in whatever way she can, especially if it guides them to have the wedding day of their dreams. Born and raised in Ireland, Emma likes to make big mugs of tea and immediately forget about them because she was looking at pictures of dogs or window shopping for shoes online.
Experience
Two months after she submitted her master's thesis, Emma started writing for The Knot Worldwide. Before this, she had focused on writing fiction in her free time and was pleasantly surprised to find a job she was so excited about in her home county. Emma loves being able to use her writing skills to help couples make the most of this exciting time in their relationship, whether it's by writing for a vendor's storefront or creating e-commerce articles to help couples find the finishing touches for their day.
Education
Emma is a two-time graduate of the National University of Ireland Galway. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in creative writing, which she studied alongside English and classics. As part of this course, she wrote a full-length young adult novel that is currently hiding on a very high shelf. She also has a Master of Arts degree in literature and publishing, where she acted as lead editor on a literary journal published with her classmates.
