Jaimie Dalessio Clayton is an editor with experience creating content for print magazines and digital platforms. Her work has appeared in Everyday Health, The Knot, Discover, and Food & Wine. She currently works as the Deputy Editor for HGTV Magazine. Jaimie is a proud mom, stationery hoarder, and fast walker.
Experience
Jaimie started her career interning with CosmoGIRL!, Food & Wine (through the American Society of Magazine Editors Magazine Internship Program), and Discover Magazine. In 2009, she was hired as an Editorial Assistant for The Knot. During her two and a half years there, Jaimie was promoted to Assistant editor and then Associate Weddings Editor. While with The Knot, she also freelanced for Gina LaGuardia Editorial Services. Jaimie was then hired by Everyday Health as a Senior Editor. Jaimie first joined the Hearst Magazines team in 2013 as a Senior Editor at HGTV Magazine. After nearly eight years in this position, she was promoted to Deputy Editor of HGTV Magazine.
Education
Jaimie graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Magazine Journalism.
