Katie Kortebein is an Arkansas-native living in New Jersey and hustling as an editor in New York. Katie is a social and content editor who has primarily worked in the wedding publishing field but hopes to expand into music, beauty, and travel. Katie previously worked as an Assistant Editor of Research for The Knot and currently serves as the Head of Editorial for Love Stories TV. Katie is obsessed with all things skin care, festivals, and books.
Experience
Out of college Katie was hired as a Social Media Administrator for The Dain Shoppe and Research Assistant and Editorial Intern for New Jersey Monthly Magazine. While holding these two jobs, Katie completed New York University’s editing certification program. She then joined The Knot as an Assistant Editor of Research. She wrote an online story, typically focused on beauty, every week and more than 70 print pieces a year. During her three years in this position, Katie also took on a volunteer Social Media Manager position for Women’s March Alliance and a freelance Artist Relations Liaison position for the Governors Ball Music Festival. In 2019, Katie was hired by Love Stories TV to be the Head of Editorial. Throughout her career Katie has freelanced as an editor and writer.

Katie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas. She also holds a certification in editing from New York University.
