Venue is amazing and encompasses so many things that are needed day of – large bridal party suites, bedrooms, great staff, ease of communication, all included packages, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience with this venue. Taylor and Mackenzie were great to work with and make a great team.

Such a beautiful space with really convenient aspects that you simply can't find a lot of places. The bridal suite is so amazing and since we got married on a Friday, we were able to spend the night prior the wedding... so fun! However, when my bridal party and I returned to the suite after the rehearsal dinner, the cat that is owned by the venue had roamed around the space and was found curled up in my luggage with cat hair various places. Thankfully no one staying that night had a cat allergy but we had to do some extra cleaning before someone with an allergy came the next day. The groom found cat poop in their suite bathroom the next morning before asking the venue to make sure the cat stayed out of the space on our wedding day. For anyone who had an allergy or issue with cats, this all could have been pretty disastrous surprise. Otherwise, a perfect experience!

Perfect event space for our wedding! Reasonable pricing, great location, easy to work with! Everyone was super responsive and helpful throughout the planning process! Very accommodating with ideas we had and loved the bridal suites for getting ready and having somewhere to stay that night. We used The Station and it was perfect for our vision! Would highly recommend this event space to anyone!

When my fiancé and I toured 28 Event Space we could not believe the number of things they included in their package for such a reasonable price— we booked immediately and are so happy we did! We had our ceremony and reception here and both were perfect. The staff was responsive and professional throughout the entire process. 100% recommend checking out this venue!

This was the first venue we toured, and we absolutely fell in love with it! The entire staff was extremely professional and helped make our wedding day as perfect as can be. We booked the Kansas City Room and had plenty of room for all of our guests to feel comfortable and really enjoyed the space.

This was the absolute best location, best venue for 255 of our guests during our daughter's wedding. Can't thank McKenzie and Taylor enough for all of their guidance! It was perfect! Best choice for us with the bedrooms in the back and the kitchen for family to hang out in before the reception and watch College football in the back rooms and then the reception was just fantastic!! Great weather, opened the garage doors for the bagpiper to play and we used both porches, front and back! Just a fabulous evening!

I think 28 Event Space is the best value venue in downtown KC. I did extensive research on venues in downtown KC for my wedding, and no one could compete with 28 Event Space’s price for everything that is included. A few of the main selling points for me were that our rental included a DJ, party bus, bride/groom getting ready suite, overnight access, use of your own vendors, and the ability to bring your own alcohol. They are the only venue in downtown KC (to my knowledge) to offer all of this, and at an incredibly fair price. In addition to all of this, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. We went with The Station which has an elegant marble backdrop as the centerpiece of the room. Everything is so updated and modern, which is exactly what we were looking for in a venue. The managers Mackenzie and Taylor are also incredibly responsive which is a must for wedding planning. They gave me a number to text with any questions and they almost always responded within ours. We mainly worked with Taylor, and she was so flexible with all of our requests. I can’t recommend 28 Event Space enough.

28 Event Space was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. We had originally booked The Station for our 2020 wedding, which had to be rescheduled (for obvious reasons), and they were so easy to work with during such a stressful season. The floor plan of The Station is INCREDIBLE, and having all of our events in one place was perfection. I love how understated and elegant the venue's decor is- also, the amount of amenities included in the package is unheard of- DJ services, bartending and a party bus? Amazing. PLEASE check them out if you want an easy stress-free spot to hold your special day!

I can not say enough great things about this event space! The event coordinators here are very dedicated to this space. They are quick to respond, follow through with promises and are happy to help with changes. 28 event is not your run of the mill event space… it offers so much more. 28event is a one stop shop if you need it to be. We choose the plan that included dj, bar, party bus transportation and beautiful areas for guys and gals to get ready in. This event allows you to byob and bring your own catering. Don’t let the industrial neighborhood fool you… when dressed up the inside becomes very elegant. If you are looking for a venue that offers a lot for a reasonable price visiting 28 event space is a must. Our reception was 24 tables plus a head table of 17 people, we still had plenty of room for a large dance floor. Do your self a favor and go with Icon music, their in house DJ vendor they are amazing also.

28 Event Space was fantastic! 10 Stars from us! Our daughter’s wedding reception was held at 28 Event Space and it was perfect! The staff and their Coordinator, Alexis, along with our Florist, Cake Lady, DJ, Band, Caterer, etc. brought our vision to life! Yes, planning a reception is stressful, but they were easy and fun to work with. 28 Event Space made it a smooth process! Thank you Doug for letting us come into 28 Event Space and have a great time! Guests are still talking about the reception!

We had our wedding at The Station last weekend and it was awesome! The venue was the perfect space for us and the bride and groom suites are awesome! We had quick and clear communication with them from the beginning, and venue manager Taylor was incredibly helpful. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding space in KC!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at 28 event space - KC room and it was PERFECT! Such an incredible and beautiful space. McKenzie and Taylor were amazing to work with and quickly answered all our questions. We booked the event space with help from our planner, who we later had some issues with, and 28 Event Space did an amazing job helping us find a new planner and stepping in to reassure us that our day would still be perfect! Our guests loved the gorgeous, big space. The surrounding parking was perfect. I had a blast hanging with my friends and getting ready in the huge bridal suite! The bar tenders were also absolutely incredible - fast, friendly, and made great drinks. The space makes it easy for vendors to load up everything that’s needed, with big garage doors and loading spaces. The lighting is also awesome! The only change I think I’d make to the space is not staying there overnight after our event. Due to the surrounding area having other event spaces and bars, it was very very loud until about 3:30 am in the couples’ suite and we didn’t sleep really at all. I would 1000% recommend 28 event space!

EXCEPTIONAL! We chose the station room and it was exactly what we wanted! From our first tour of the space to our wedding day, everything was professional but also laid back-a brides dream with the stress of planning your wedding. I can’t say enough good things about the staff- absolutely AMAZING and so easy to work with! Our day was perfect thanks to 28 event space!

28 Event Space – We used The Station – the venue was exactly what we wanted – we started planning our wedding December 2019 – and we went to view only one venue and it happened to be 28 Event Space – between the tall ceilings, beautiful white marble wall and the amazing amenities that come with this space it was a no brainer to book them ASAP! – the communication, support and services provided to us kept us at ease throughout the pandemic and just basic planning. The venue came with tables, chairs, Icon Event Group (ill review them too), Bartenders, Parking attendants, party bus, bridal and groom suite and so much more! We are so pleased with 28 Event Space I would ONLY recommend them. I have never seen a negative review and doubt I ever will! They made our dream wedding a reality.

28 Event Space was fabulous to work with! The staff is super friendly, responsive, professional, etc. The list goes on and on. They will work with you to accommodate your vision and requests. We primarily worked with Mackenzie. We highly recommend her and the venue. We can’t thank them enough for making our day perfect!

We booked 28 Event Space- KC Room at the beginning of the pandemic, and thankfully was able to host our wedding as scheduled. During the year between booking and our wedding, there were some changes in staff that made me a little bit nervous. However- Taylor stepped in and did a phenomenal job! We had hired our own planners, and she worked seamlessly with them- including when we ran out of beer quicker than expected! She was extremely responsive through the weekend, and the venue was great. It worked for exactly what we wanted- a huge party with all of our loved ones.

We had a great experience with 28 Event Space! We were in the Kansas City Room and it looked MAGICAL with the beautiful lights. Everything went smoothly from getting ready in the morning, to the party bus, to the bartenders to set up/tear down. We also found our incredible DJ Deondre through 28 Event as he is a preferred vendor through ICON event which made everything so much easier for us. We also loved that the venue was a 22 hour rental so our friends from out of town could stay well past last call and hang with us in the bridal suite. Highly recommend!

We chose 28 Event Space - The Kansas City Room for our wedding ceremony and reception venue because the amenities were unbeatable for the price. Some of our favorite things about the space were that it held our 215 count guest list comfortably, the bridal suite was huge and an amazing place to get ready before the big day, party bus was included, they have a discount deal with a local DJ company, you can bring your own alcohol to serve at the reception and they don't limit your catering options which both allowed us to save thousands on alcohol and food. One of the downsides is that in the 8 months between booking and having the wedding they went through 3 different venue managers so communication was kind of rocky for some of it, but the venue manager that we ended up working with the days before the wedding was amazing and super helpful. Since there was a lot of turnover we got different answers to all of our questions and it took a lot of reading through the contract to figure out what was right, which was frustrating. However, the positives totally outweigh the negatives and I would definitely book with them again if we had to do it all over!

We got married at The Station Room this past weekend and one of the first things I wanted to do was leave a review recommending the space and venue staff to EVERYONE! The space itself is stunning, feels so big even when full, and doesn’t need a lot of extra details to make it look beautiful. The staff is incredible, so friendly, so flexible and helped make the day run so smoothly I forgot they were there at times. Whatever time of year you’re getting married, add this space to your must-tour list!

This was a beautiful venue and everything turned out really well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the AC was not working in the bridal suite and it was miserable getting ready. The venue AC was not working prior to the wedding. Thankfully, by the time guests arrived it was working for the reception.

We had an incredible experience with 28 Event Space. The staff was really helpful during the planning process. Our original wedding date was 3/28/2020. Due to COVID, we had to reschedule and they were super accommodating. There wasn't a wedding the day before ours so we were able to set up decor at the event space on Friday, which made our wedding day a breeze. Both the bride and groom suites were great for getting ready as well. They really went above and beyond to make our day perfect!

We chose the Station side and loved this venue! They have experience with so many weddings, they are prepared for anything and whatever I asked of them, they were ready to execute! The space itself is very easy to transform with whatever vision you have. The packages they offer are awesome and they have connections with lots of vendors!

We had our reception at The Station on 08/08/2020, and I would highly recommend 28 Event Space to other couples. Not only is The Station absolutely beautiful, but it was very easy to work with the staff there. The owner, Doug, is very nice, easy to work with, and accommodating. Wedding planning during the COVID pandemic was not easy, but Doug and his team did all that they could to ensure we would still be able to have our dream day. For example - about a month before the wedding, we decided that we wanted to have an outdoor space for guests who didn't feel comfortable mingling inside because of COVID. Doug was very open to this and allowed us to set up tents and use two different outdoor areas at 28 Event Space. Some of the highlights of the venue for us were: the general flexibility of the staff; the DJ, bartenders, and transportation being included in the price; the bride and groom suites; and the ability to provide your own alcohol. The only downside of our experience working with 28 Event Space would be that there was a lot of staff turnover - so much so that every meeting we had was with a different person. Despite this, our questions were always answered by someone and our reception turned out beautifully!

The 28 event space is AMAZING. The staff was super friendly and incredibly accommodating. They don't flinch at crazy day of requests and changes, and are there to help at the drop of a hat. They include awesome services without being annoyingly 'our way or the highway'. They offer bar staffing but you can bring your own alcohol. We chose 'The Station', and the venue itself is big, classy, and beautiful! The groom and bridal suites are very nice and spacious. They also have very nice kitchen/prep area for the catering staff of your choice. The included party bus is actually super nice, and way better than a limousine. The Station was actually not our original choice in venue, but due to Covid-19, we had to change our venue. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as our family and guests all raved about how much better it was than the original venue and how beautiful it was. The with all the marble and upscale finishes, the space hardly needed any extra decor. We highly recommend booking The Station to anyone looking for an elegant venue with outstanding service and added benefits typically not provided by other venues!

My husband and I got married at the Station in December of 2019. Karly was amazing and quick to respond to any questions we had. The Marble Wall... BEAUTIFUL!!! It made our photos look amazing. The suites are perfect for getting ready, and the bar tenders made sure everyone was severed. We 100% suggest this venue for any couple looking to get married in the KC area.

We used the Kansas City Room for our wedding -- and it was so dreamy! Karly and the team was easy to work with, and everything at the venue went off without a hitch. Thank you so much for proving a beautiful space and canvas for our big day!!

We had our wedding at The Station on September 28. I have wavered back and forth between giving this venue a 4 or a 5 star review, but ultimately I settled on a 4 for several reasons. First let me talk about the positives: The venue is beautiful -- the décor inside the Station is lovely and with the lights on at night, it is just the mood you want for a wedding. The size of the bridal suite is lovely and it's nice that they have a Groom's suite as well. The venue coordinators are good at allowing you sufficient time to set up and take down your decorations (this is probably my favorite part about this location). I like that they had a package that included their bartenders, transportation options and a DJ from Icon Event Group, those were convenient to not have to worry about on top of booking everything else. My mixed feelings about the venue are the shape/layout of the venue -- it can either work to your advantage and disadvantage. Also, if you have any elderly family that need a lower stimulus environment, the openness of the venue doesn't give them any area to temporarily retreat to -- especially because the upstairs isn't wheelchair accessible. My negative feelings about the venue is that they advertise it can hold up to 200 I believe. I fretted a lot prior to the wedding about it feeling too cramped, but everyone I've spoken with said it felt cozy and inviting (which made me feel so much better). Things to know if you book this venue: A room flip is not feasible at a certain guest count if you opt to have your ceremony and your reception there. There is nowhere for your guests to go if you decide to do this -- particularly if you have tables over near the bar section. I think our actual guest count including wedding party ended up being around 160, less than 170. I think they should tell you ahead of time that they sit 10 people at 60 inch rounds instead of 8 -- which wasn't terrible, but it's something to know -- it cramps the place settings if that is in your design.

We had our reception here in Sept this year in the Kansas City Room and I cannot say enough amazing things about this place and the staff! There is so much space to get ready and the extra bedrooms and party bus options are a great touch. Every time I or my planner had a question, the girls were so easy to get a hold of and answered everything right away. We cannot thank you enough!

The space is an amazing deal for the price. Especially the on-site suites! Plenty of room to get ready and you can stay the night! Karly was able to help get everything I needed for my special day!

These ladies are fantastic! We had our wedding reception held in the Kansas City Room, and we received SO MANY compliments on the space. But aside from the amazing aesthetics, they are so incredibly easy to work with, and are incredibly flexible with meeting your needs—from arranging any meetings you want leading up to the day of, to making sure the room is set up exactly how you want for your day. In addition, we utilized the bride's room for getting ready in the morning, and I would highly recommend renting it for the day of—not only will it make you feel like a princess with the absolutely stunning bathroom en-suite full of 360 degree mirrors and glamorous lighting, but it also made the morning run so smoothly, and allowed us to keep all of our belongings there while we went and had our wedding ceremony off-site, so that we could come back and have all of our belongings there for the reception. They were so helpful with working with all of our wedding vendors, and I cannot praise them enough! I HIGHLY recommend this event space!

Amazing venue, met and exceeded all expectations of the day of the wedding!

We had both our ceremony and reception at The Station @ 28 Event Space, and I was absolutely blown away by the entire process. We did our ceremony "Oscar style" to avoid doing a room flip in the space, and it was such a unique and intimate experience for us and our guests. Their staff was a dream to work with and was so kind to answer all of my crazy bride questions throughout it all. The day-of was nothing short of perfection. Karly and Maura worked with our coordinator for all of the behind-the-scenes magic and I can honestly say the day went off without a hitch. Can't say enough good things about the space, the staff and the amenities included in the package. They made it all so easy, which is no small feat for soon-to-be brides. Would recommend them to anyone looking to get married in the KC area!

When they say "Best Day Ever!" it might seem cliche but for my wife, Kelly and I, it was totally that due to the staff at 28 Event Space. As a groom, there was no pressure or worries. So many people played a role in making me feel this way. I know for my wife, she loved all the amenities that 28 Event Space offered. It was so easy getting ready for the wedding and absolutely had a blast once the reception started. The space was perfect, It wasn't too big but wasn't too small for the number of guests we had. If I could do it all over again, I'd still use 28 Event Space. Cheers! ~Addison

We had our wedding ceremony and reception in the Kansas City Room at 28 Event Space in February this year. I could not have been more happy with 28 and their staff! They were so helpful to us in the planning and preparation of the day and answered all of our questions! They did a room flip since we did both the wedding ceremony and reception in the same room and it could not have gone smoother. We chose one of the cheaper packages but they still allowed us to use the back room throughout the evening which was so helpful. The 28 Event staff had bar tenders and parking staff available to help too. I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing the entire night because anytime there was a problem the girls took care of it! I would highly recommend having your wedding or reception (or both) at 28!

Can’t say enough great things about this place!! The venue itself is a great location, gorgeous, and looked amazing in our photos. The team goes above and beyond for any need, want, or worry! I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Thanks to 28 event space for a great wedding :)

My husband and I got married on June 14, 2019 and had our reception in the Kansas City Room. When we visited back in July, this was ranked the top in both of our lists. The room is breathtaking! Not only is it big and perfect to accommodate any number of guests (we had 250), but the mural of the skyline is just so different and unique than any other venue! It was fun for our guests and is a great way to remember 28 Event Space! The staff is extremely accommodating. I felt Maura was extremely personable, even calming when I was stress crying (LOL- thank you!). Everything we had talked about and planned was perfect and went smoothly! The tables arrangements and decor looked amazing! We used their suggested DJ package, Icon Event Space. My parents, husband and I are so glad we picked this beautiful spot. Our guests had a blast, as did we! Everyone had such nice things to say! The only complaint we have is it was a little warm in the room before we opened the garage doors. We understand though because what room wouldn’t be with 250 people? Ha! However, it was totally OK! We highly recommend this space! Thank you, again!!!!

I CANNOT say enough GOOD things about my experience with 28 Event Space! This venue made it so easy on me and my family during the whole planning process, the setup process before the reception, and the actual reception! Our reception was in the Kansas City Room in May and we were able to bring the garage doors up once the sun had gone down after dinner. Everyone LOVED that!! We also got to reveal the mural of Kansas City after dinner which was so cool! We reserved both the bridal suite and the grooms suite that come with the venue. My whole bridal party (6 total girls) were able to come the morning of the reception and get their hair and makeup done at the venue with me! Some of the girls even stayed overnight with me the night before. Time and time again I will recommend this venue. It's 100% worth it's cost. We were also able to reserve a bus to take our wedding party around for pictures before the ceremony and then everyone and their significant others from the ceremony to the reception through 28! It was so convenient! We worked with Karly and then with Maura the day before the reception and they were both so sweet and helpful with all my small requests. They helped me stay calm during the planning process. There was not a single hiccup at the reception thanks to 28 Event Space and their staff for being amazing!!!

The Station at 28 Event Space was an amazing venue to host our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff we worked with were so professional and accommodating throughout the entire process. All of our other vendors were familiar with the space already so it made things easy instantly. We received so many compliments from our guest about this great spot. I could go on and on about all of the additional inclusions and perks to renting The Station (but I won’t), so I HIGHLY encourage that you reach out to the 28 Event Group if you’re looking for a kick ass venue for your wedding (or any other event)!

We had our wedding at The Station on 12/1/18. We had about 120 guests and the space was perfect for what we needed. The bridal suite was great for all the girls to get ready. A lot of the women in my family were able to get ready with us too! The groom suite is a bit smaller but enough for the guys. We initially met with Karly for the tour but Chey helped with everything else after that. They were easy to get a hold of and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I knew I was in good hands and my wedding day went perfectly! Could not have asked for a better group to work with!

The professionalism in working with 28 event space was very disappointing. They set us up for an appointment to tour without fully being able to answer if they even had our wedding date available. When I attempted to get ahold of them to double check that we were still on for the tour, nobody would email me back. I called, and nobody answered the phone. It came down to me having to leave a voicemail to the venue an hour before our appointment asking if we were still supposed to drive downtown to meet them. After four days of not hearing from them and leaving them a message the day of the appointment, they didn’t even have the decency to call and apologize for missing the appointment THEY scheduled with me. It was a waste of my time as I could have booked other venues that morning who were actually willing to communicate with me as a business should. If you’re looking for a venue to truly work with you on your big day, save your time and don’t look here.

I have to start by saying- Chey is incredible! I loved this venue from the moment we stepped foot in it, but I was extremely nervous about how things would work logistically. Once I met with Chey, all of that went away. She was so organized & professional in our meeting, but also treated us like old friends she was celebrating alongside. The whole team was awesome throughout the night from the bus driver to the bartenders & we could not be more grateful. Thank you for helping us throw an incredible party!

Like most all the other reviews say, 28 Event was the most perfect venue for our reception! The beautiful marble wall and flexibility on vendors initially caught our attention, but it was definitely the people who kept us amazed. We used The Station on November 24, 2018 - it fit our guest list wonderfully and our bridal parties had plenty of space to hang out in the suites the day of. The girls at 28 are also amazing to work with - I had zero concerns going into the day-of knowing Karly & Chey had it completely under control. They met the vendors, so we didn't have to. I have already recommended this venue to my friends! Loved it so much!

My husband and I got married on November 17, 2018. We chose to have our wedding reception at 28 Event Space, in the Kansas City Room and we couldn't be more happy with our decision! The venue is not only beautiful but it was also big enough to hold our huge guest list. It was so nice to have a venue that allows you the opportunity to bring outside vendors and to bring in your own alcohol. However, the best part about this venue is the staff, especially Karly and Chey! They are AMAZING to work with! Karly was SO helpful in answering any and all questions or concerns we had leading up to our big our day! Chey was so sweet and so much fun to work with! She was willing to help wherever necessary and definitely went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly! We can't thank them enough for helping make our day so amazing! They're the best!

I am thrilled to share that our experience with 28 Event Space was more than just fabulous! We felt so supported by the event manager, Chey, from the beginning. The venue's atmosphere, the DJ recommended (Icon), the caterer (Brancatos), and everything 28 Event Space offered made my daughter say that she had her dream wedding. We also rented the suites and this made the preparation for the wedding perfect! There is plenty of space for the bridal party and groomsmen to hang out in their suites. Thank you, Chey and everyone at 28 Event Space, for everything you did for us! We'll never forget our experience with you!

Amazing venue amazing staff! Everything looked and went amazing thanks to the ladies at 28 Event Space!

My husband and I chose 28 Event Space for our October 5th wedding this year. The Friday wedding allowed us to decorate the venue on Thursday and host our grooms dinner right at the space! Shay made our planning absolutely flawless and we had so much fun planning our big day! Our 230 guests at the wedding can’t stop talking about how amazing the wedding was! From the beautiful lights and the garage doors allowing access to the outside patio all night our guests fell in love with the venue as much as we did! Icon kept us dancing all night and the bridal suite and grooms suite are gorgeous! My wedding party was able to eat breakfast together, get ready in the individual suites and our family enjoyed the suites during the reception when the younger guests needed a break from all the dancing! Thank you 28 for such a magical wedding!!

The space was great and everything was absolutely wonderful. Couldn't have been better! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The suite rooms were clean, large and nice to get ready in.

The 28 Event Space team was wonderful to work with and you could tell they had our best interest at heart. They were always available to answer questions before the event and they were very helpful the day of. I had full trust they would handle anything that popped up the day of the wedding and can't imagine not having such attentive staff to help coordinate that! The space was so beautiful and we received many compliments. It was amazing that we could select our own vendors and the option to bring your own alcohol was such a cost savings (from what I could find, there's only a few places in KC that allow that.) We also chose an overnight package and it was great to have that space as well. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Huge thanks to Chey and all the team there.

My wife and my wedding day was by far the best day of our lives. I know that is an obvious statement but seriously! I got to marry my best friend and we had amazing service and accommodations at 28 Event Space. We really loved the venue. We really loved that we could stay the night in the on-site suite and not have to go across town to a hotel room. It was just amazing!

There was little work we had to do decorations-wise because the space itself is already set up so beautifully with the lights, gold backdrops, tables and tablecloths, etc. We decided to rent the groom and bridal suites and I am so glad we did. We each had 8 groomsmen/bridesmaids and the rooms were perfect for getting ready that morning and having time to relax with our bridal party. We also stayed there the night of which was super fun and convenient. There was no event the night before so we were allowed to come in and set up on Friday which helped make everything so much easier for us on the day-of. We worked with Karly throughout our wedding planning process and she was AWESOME. She kept everything very organized and was so easy to communicate and work with. She made everything so smooth for us and definitely helped take a lot of stress out of the wedding planning process. The decision to have our wedding at this event space was one of the best decisions we made and I can't say enough good things!

We are so thankful and glad we chose 28 Event Space as our venue for both ceremony & reception. The day was absolutely perfect! Maura, Chey, & Karly were great. We booked our date in January and after we got our guest list together were a bit worried that The Station would be too small. (150 people) It was the perfect size. It wasn't too big and made the ceremony intimate. The space at The Station is gorgeous-- the marble wall and white walls were perfect for our minimalist & greenery theme. We loved that the venue provided the tables, linens, bridal/groom suites, transportation, bartenders, and parking attendants! All of the staff was amazing. I didn't have to worry about a thing-- which is saying a lot coming from me. =) I wish I could do the day over and over again. Thanks again!

We had an incredibly positive experience with 28 Event Space and are so glad we chose this space for our wedding reception! We had a large wedding and the layout of the Kansas City room worked perfectly. The space photographs beautifully with the overhead lights. Maura made our lives easy multiple times during the planning process and especially during the event.

We loved having our ceremony and reception at 28 Event Space! The Kansas City Room is already well decorated (rope lights and downtown KC mural), so we didn't have to add too many decorations. The flip between the ceremony and reception was a quick and smooth process. We worked with Karly to plan our event. She was always available to answer questions and made the planning process an easy one. Chey was our day of coordinator and was so accommodating, friendly, and organized. She made sure our wedding was perfect and made it a stress-free night for us. Both Chey and Karly were amazing to work with, and we definitely recommend the venue!

We had our wedding 3 weeks ago and we are so glad we chose 28 Event Space! We did a Friday wedding, and were able to get in on Thursday to decorate that whole day, had our rehearsal dinner, and able to stay the night on Thursday (all included in the package)! Their staff is very friendly and helpful. We really didn’t have to worry about anything and everything was so laid back! The other wonderful thing about our package was, my husband and I stayed there as well and didn’t have to be completely out until Saturday at 9:00 AM! Their bridal suite is AMAZING and HUGE which is so nice for getting ready!! I would definitely recommend this place for the price and what all is included!!

We had our reception at 28 event space. The venue was beautiful and we loved our experience with them. The evening went smoothly and we couldn't be happier with how it went. I definitely would recommend using their space!

We loved our entire experience with 28 Event Space! Karly always responded timely to any emails. They worked with my vendors to organize for the day of. They shuttled 100+ of our guests from their hotel and back! We were able to bring in our own alcohol and our own vendors! My favorite part of 28 Event Space was how beautiful it is. Our pictures turned out amazing! It was such a perfect day, thank you 28 Event Space!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! BEWARE! Beautiful venue. We began the journey in December and spoke to 3 different coordinators in that time. We were told we HAD to put down a deposit. We were not even firm on a date. My son and his fiancé picked a date, we gave the check and were reviewing the contract. NEVER returned the contract. Cancelled the Wedding and I have been trying to get my deposit back for 60 days. They have been awful, as if it hasn't been stressful enough. They have made the experience terrible, I will never recommend this venue to anyone.

From start to finish 28 Event Space was the best space for our wedding. The Station is a blank slate so any decor and color will pop. They're flexible (choose your own vendors), easy to communicate with, and they show UP on your wedding day. We had around 130 guests and the place felt full. We were able to schedule one of the shuttles to go back-and-forth between the downtown hotel for pick-up and drop-off at the end of the night and our guests loved it and it kept the party going. Being able to spend the night is a huge benefit and made for an easier clean-up the next day. Clean-up was the hardest part but grab a few family members/wedding party and you can back your car up and load out easily. We added the extra hour and it was totally worth it, wish it could've lasted longer.

Great space! Wedding coordinator was super nice, but could've been more involved with timeline and events throughout the night. I never threw my bouquet. :(

We couldn’t imagine a better venue or a better team to have worked with! The venue was absolutely beautiful and everything we wanted. We were married in the Kansas City room and the lighting made for a perfect, romantic feel. The bridal suite was so awesome for the girls to get ready in and made for a more than comfortable place for the bride and groom to spend their first night as man and wife together! Karly and Chey were amazing to work with!! They were not just helpful, but really fun too! They showed that they really cared for us and wanted to help give us the wedding of our dreams. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.
