My husband and I highly recommend booking 4Rivers for your wedding! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were very kind and efficient throughout our wedding, including checking in on us during dinner to see if there was anything else we wanted or needed. On top of that, Sarah was an absolute dream to work with! She was incredibly responsive to any forms of communication, was on top scheduling/planning, and answered so many questions I had that she probably didn’t have to. She even helped guide me on picking a color for linens that would best fit our color scheme and was very communicative with our coordinator. Having Sarah on my team really helped to reduce a lot of stress and I would absolutely want to work with her for any other catering event!

4 Rivers Smokehouse was amazing. They catered our wedding at October Oaks and had an incredibly friendly staff with some delicious food. The dessert bar and cake we got from them was also perfect for our wedding. The upgraded disposable plate option was really perfect for us, we didn’t have to spend a ton but it wasn’t simple plastic plates. Everyone also seemed to love the appetizers during Cocktail Hour. I got to work with Sarah on the catering team and her responses were incredibly prompt and she helped fill in the details. If you are looking for some delicious food that fits a more family friendly and relaxed and fun wedding, look no further than 4 Rivers to cater.

Sarah from 4R was great to work with for our wedding. She was extremely responsive to emails and questions we asked. We were able to do a tasting about eight months before our big day and it was so delicious, we knew we had made the right choice. BBQ is not traditional wedding food, but it was a hit at our wedding! Even with only 45 guests, we had very little food left over and everyone raved about how delicious it was. 10/10!

We normally love 4Rivers but the catering coordinator we worked with was awful! We want in for a tasting and everything was amazing. 4Rivers also had their pricing up on their website in an easy to find place which was really nice. Robin went over the entire event with us. There were a few things we hadn’t anticipated. For example the servers had to be there 3 hours ahead of time to set up and stay till guest left so they could clean up and this entire time was paid for. But at the end of our meeting Robin looked over the entire thing and said it would be $5,000 to $6,000. My partner and I both heard her and I wrote it down. When she emailed me the official proposal a few hours later the total was 10 GRAND !!! I called her about it but she said that she HAD NO MEMORY of saying $5,000 to $6,000. Not only was that significantly out of our price range but she LIED TO MY FACE about it.

Would highly recommend 4Rivers Catering! After submitting a request for a quote, Sarah quickly got back to me & was very responsive via email. The catering menu had a LOT of options, so it was easy to create a customized menu with all of our BBQ favorites. Prior to the wedding, I had a planning call with Sarah & she put together a wonderfully detailed timeline for her team. The day of the wedding, the food was DELICIOUS! A "small" detail that really meant a lot to us was the head server getting our plates for us - we were served first without having to visit the buffet ourselves, which gave us extra time to visit with our guests while everyone was eating. Our vegetarian option (vegan burnt ends) might've been my favorite, and the pulled pork was a crowd favorite. We had selected the disposable > china place settings, and I was worried it would look cheap, but it actually looked great - the only minor issue was that it was really difficult to eat the chicken (because of the bone) with the plastic cutlery, but we had plenty of other entree & side options. The fried oreos were a great way to end the night, and the staff was amazing at cleaning everything up!

Casey at the Bake Shop and Sarah at 4R were so great to work with - extremely nice and very quick to respond to my 1000s of questions. On top of that, the food was great and we got nothing but compliments on it and ESPECIALLY the desserts. Wow did our group love those desserts. We had asked them to create a small wedding cake in a 70s "shag carpet" design and they more than delivered. It was absolutely adorable and perfect and it tasted AMAZING. I would definitely recommend 4R if you're looking for a laid back yet delicious and professional dining experience at your wedding.

The service was the best catering service I have ever experienced. So willing to help and do everything they can to make the day perfect. The food was delicious and has become my favorite barbeque place! Thank you all so much!

We love 4Rivers and were so excited to have them cater our wedding reception. The food was delicious, and we had so many guests comment that this was the best wedding food they'd ever had. We had BBQ, but there are so many good options to choose from on their menus. They were so easy to work with and flexible as we solidified our guest count. 4Rivers is a preferred vendor at the Ever After Farms Blueberry Barn, and it was nice that they knew where to set up and how to operate. We would absolutely recommend 4Rivers catering any event you're having!

We hosted a wedding with 114 people and 4 Rivers Smokehouse handled our cocktail hour beverages, appetizers, dinner food, and beverages during the reception. 4 Rivers Staff was kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the night. Highly recommend you go with the option to have your dinner (as the couple) plated for you so you can enjoy some dinner while your guests get theirs.

Had such an amazing experience with the 4Rivers team! They had a bartender for us, they brought our food to us, and they cleaned up the tables for us! The food was fantastic and they really helped the day go so smoothly. I really appreciate their help making our day so special!

Loved having 4Rivers as the buffet for our Wedding. We were able to do a tasting a few weeks before which really helped us narrow down our selections. We had a lot of people from Texas celebrating with us and we knew it would have to be top notch BBQ and they delivered! Everyone loved the food, but the real star was the cookies and cream cake they made for us, and we can't wait to order one for our anniversary!

All of our guests loved the food. Our dessert bar was a huge hit and they did a wonderful job with our cake!

I am a coordinator and I adore working with 4 Rivers! They are so amazing! They help set up things that were not even their responsibility, and go above and beyond always! They got 120 people through the buffet in like 20 minutes- no joking! Their catering team is always kind and polite and a joy to work with!

Excellent vendor! Sarah did an amazing job making sure all our needs were met. They are incredibly nice and flexible. We had several guests with food allergies and they made sure everyone was fed and got special meals! Guests LOVED the food and service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Working with Sarah Moelman and 4 Rivers was a dream come true, they were our favorite wedding vendor to work with and provided our catering along with linens and desserts. Every step of the way Sarah was there and she exceeded any expectation I could have had. The food was perfect and serving was exceptional despite COVID regulations.

We love 4Rivers and so booking them for our wedding was an easy decision, but they continued to impress us! Sometimes the communication was a little slow, but once we got closer in they definitely gave us their full attention. They were so great with all our changes, questions, etc. to help make sure everything was covered. The food was incredible, we had so many compliments on it! They also gave us all of the leftovers at the end of the night (which was so great once we got to our hotel and realized we were hungry). Highly recommend!

We are big fans of 4R and frequently eat there when we are home from San Francisco, CA. When we moved our Sanford, FL wedding to an outdoor luncheon due to the pandemic precautions we wanted to take we were excited to have them as a vendor. 4R had great safety precautions in place, which also played into our selection process. The planning process with Sarah was delightful and stress free. The linens we ordered for cocktail hour looked very nice. Overall, the food met our expectations. The cornbread, cabbage slaw, mac & cheese, chicken, and pulled pork were all very popular with our guests. The chicken was a favorite, which was a surprise. The bar service was an area of improvement. Overall, 4R catering was focused on customer service and making sure that their customers were happy.

The food was great! To be honest, communication was not the best. But once our planner got involved (At Last Weddings) everything went very smoothly. The appetizers were a bit different than we had originally tried (it was a year since we did our tasting) but they were still pretty good. Loved the pricing and our guests raved over their dinner!

Loved working with Kelli!! She was so helpful and patient with us and the entire staff on our wedding day was just the best! They took great care of our guests, made sure we actually got to eat ourselves, and packaged all of our leftovers and cake with such care.

We were supposed to have Four Rivers for our reception until our venue fell through. We ended up having to have other food through the venue but I can’t recommend Four Rivers enough to any couple! They were fantastic through our entire wedding planning process. The food is amazing and the service was incredible as well! They helped so much with planning and trying to make our day perfect. They also were super understanding about our venue and helped us out as much as they could!

We hired 4 rivers because is made the most sense for us from a financial standpoint and because the food there is amazing. The food served at our reception was hot and the sides were delicious. We ordered beef brisket and salmon as the mains. The salmon was great; the brisket was not as good as it usually is on location. We had corn bread on our order, but I never got any. We never got our leftovers, which isn't a huge deal, but we wanted them for an afterparty we were throwing. My biggest issue is that they didn't clear any tables until the event was over. The tables from our cocktail hour weren't clear and were piled high with trash. It did not look cute and I am sure ruined some photos. We also had them do our bar service. They would not share any tips or tricks on how to stock the bar. I had to turn to google. I think I did okay (got no complaints), but I would have loved assistance from the vendor we hired.

My husband and I hired 4Rivers as the caterer for our medieval-themed wedding and were thrilled with the result! The tasting was well-run, a great way to try out all the available options, and served as a meal on its own. The expertly cooked meats, tasty vegetables and other sides, and the selection of rolls were exactly what we were looking for and the price was right. Communicating with the 4Rivers team was easy, as was making payments, They were also good about accomodating some special dietary needs and, despite it being a buffet, even agree to bring food over to a mobility-challenged guest. We had guests coming up to our sweetheart table to make sure they could go back for more. Everyone loved it! Two of their staff members even took pictures for some of our guests when they noticed the group was trying (unsuccessfully) to take a "selfie" with everyone in it. That's going above and beyond.

Sweet Shop and 4R Specialty Cakes did our wedding cake and it was EXACTLY what we wanted! Beautifully designed and delicious! We received so many compliments from our wedding guests on how wonderful the cake was! I would highly recommend them for your wedding!

4Rivers was set to cater an elegant rehearsal dinner for 90 people when suddenly four days ahead of the event everything was shut down due to COVID 19. After wonderful neighbors and friends stepped in to relocate the downsized wedding and save the entire wedding weekend, Robin and her team came to the rescue and catered a smaller rehearsal dinner AND the wedding as well... on very short notice and seamlessly. Phenomenal food cooked to perfection and superior service with an attitude of care and professionalism!! Cannot say enough about how easy they were to work with and how professionally everything was handled. We are so grateful for their service and for God's provision.

Absolutely loved having 4Rivers cater our wedding. Heidi was helpful throughout the entire process and flexible with our changes. The catering team arrived on-time and set-up quietly and out of site so the guests never saw them. All of the food was amazing and really made us happy the we went with 4Rivers. It was also really great that the catering coordinator, Heidi, stopped by to make sure everything went smooth. Highly recommend 4Rivers for your next event.

This needed update being our cheapest option with our venue and by far the fastest! They were super professional and easy to get ahold of through the entire process (shout out to our coordinator Sara!). Everyone raved about the food and the bar tending service was top notch. One word: DELICIOUS. You will not regret going with 4 Rivers for your catering needs. We had them for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. what a wonderful experience, right from the get go. We met with Sarah for our tasting (make sure you go hungry) and she was so kind and personable. She was always quick to communicate as well. We received several compliments on our food choice and most plates were empty by the end of the night. The only negative thing is we hardly had any leftovers since it was such a hit! Bartenders were great too, kept the line moving and had a very little (or no) wait time for our guests

We used 4 Rivers Smokehouse Catering for our rehearsal dinner. To be totally honest, the process of negotiating and scheduling the event was pretty awful. It took forever and was very inconsistent. We kept going because we really wanted to have 4R for our rehearsal dinner. Once everything was finally scheduled, everything was great moving forward. The contract was prepared quickly, sent to us for signature, and returned promptly. Our contact at 4R told us that we would hear more the week of the event, which was true. We received updates the week of and finalized the menu and guest count. As far as the event, the team arrived on time (if not early) and set everything up beautifully. The staff that worked our event was super sweet and very attentive. The food was delicious. All of our guests say that it was the most delicious rehearsal dinner they have ever had. So while scheduling and negotiating may be challenging, it is well worth it! The food is amazing and the catering staff is wonderful! Definitely worth it!

4 Rivers known for great food & amazing service in those restaurants has carried that same level of food & service into their catering. Every moment from initial contact months before the wedding until last minute updates week of the wedding I encountered nothing but 5 star level of service. Sarah the representative I worked with throughout the entire process was always quick to respond to any changes and questions I had. We even used the 4 Rivers Sweet shop for our cake and they were able to make our cake dreams a reality. My wife & I chose not to save our top tier but are instead are going to order a cake through them on our 1 year anniversary since it’s amazing cake. Finally the staff on day of were quite efficient & easy to work with just like all the staff leading up to the process.

We used 4 Rivers for our buffet dinner, bar service, and desserts from their sweet shop, and had excellent service! You can sign up for a tasting beforehand so you know exactly what you're getting. Brooke, Robin, and Jamie all were incredibly helpful and responsive - if there was a mistake on a preliminary menu item, it was fixed pronto. The food was great (the few bites I got to eat, anyway - it's true that you hardly eat anything at your own wedding, even though they premade our plates for us!) and our guests were raving about the mini cupcakes! To-go boxes were made for us and service was done with a smile. Yay!

We're big fans of 4 Rivers BBQ, so when we found out they have a cake shop, we were so excited! I contacted their corporate email and they put me in touch with the local restaurant (Coral Springs, FL) and the tasting was easy to set up and was so great! We used them for our rehearsal cake and wedding cake and I can't stop dreaming of those cakes! It was so tasty, everyone couldn't believe we got it from a BBQ place! Their pricing was great too! Can't say enough good things about this place! Hire them for any catering and cake needs!

We new we wanted BBQ for the wedding and we are so happy with our choice to use 4 Rivers. The tasting was great and we were able to pick exactly what we wanted. We had a served buffet style and also used there bartending services. No complaints on either!

It was a must to have my FAVORITE food at my wedding, so that meant BBQ/Southern inspired goodies. As I had already eaten at 4Rivers multiple times and have never been let down by their quality and hospitality, I knew I wanted to share that experience with my wedding guests. The process of picking the menu and making multiple alterations during the planning process was seamless with the Orlando 4R catering team. They answered all of my questions and gave valuable feedback about my menu. They offered more services than I expected and when something was needed at last minute, they made a call and the items were available before my guests even arrived. ABOUT THE FOOD: Amazing, obviously. The food speaks for itself! The service-Southern hospitality at its best. Thank you 4R for making my wedding day delicious!

The food was amazing. Let's start there. It didn't break the bank and EVERYONE commented on how good it was. The catering manager, Lysandra, was extremely friendly and helpful. We feel she went above and beyond to help us get everything together in time and meet all of our guests' dietary needs (who knew a bbq place could do such delicious vegan food?). The day of the event, the staff showed up early. They were friendly and professional.

10/10 would recommend - BBQ was a BIG hit and their service was impeccable!

So glad we got one of our favorite local restaurants to cater our wedding. Everyone loved the food especially the cocktail hour appetizers! We all loved that we could supply our own alcohol to their warehouse. So glad we went with 4Rivers!!!

We had many of our guest tell us that this was the best food that they have ever had at a wedding. We had a buffet for our wedding and selected many items from The Coop menu, and a couple from the 4Rivers menu. The fact that we could use both was fantastic, as we wanted more southern style comfort food with a touch of BBQ. The Coop fried chicken is award winning and I can see why. This was some of the best fried chicken that I have ever had. In addition to having amazing food, 4Rivers staff is absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, meeting with Robyn for a tasting, all the way through to the staff who were present for our wedding. I did not have one bad experience with anyone. Every person was courteous, patient, and professional. I had to make some last minute changes and add a few single meals for family with dietary restrictions, and it was handled without any hesitation. Thank you to everyone at 4Rivers!!

We loved 4 Rivers and had eaten here all the time before we got engaged so we were super pumped to learn they did catering. The initial person we worked with, kellie, was beyond scatter brained. She didn’t follow the portion sizes we’d asked for and messed up our whole menu multiple times. Luckily my mom and I owned a catering company so we noticed things were wrong and asked for an itemized list for the menu. We complained and were able to work with Brooke who was great and helped us sort it all out. The day of, everything went great and was exactly what we asked for. Only two real complaints other than the service by Kelly, one is that they charged a $500 gratuity fee even though we didn’t use their staff since our venue provided it. That’s included with any wedding, so that was a little ridiculous. Secondly, they made us a To Go box for my husband and I, but did not offer any of the leftovers to my immediate family or his and my mom was extremely mad considering we’d paid 5k for food and we knew there were leftovers. The food was amazing, but all of it was a little bit of a headache.

We loved how attentive the staff was to us and our guests. They brought us out full plates of food as soon as we sat down which gave us plenty of time to visit with our guests. Everyone loved the food and they were great for our guests with gluten allergies and answered all of our questions and requests as soon as we sent them.

Absolutely everything we could have asked for! 4 Rivers is already incredible, and our guests all thought so, too! We were complemented multiple times throughout the night about the food and how delicious it was! The company is so easy to work with and does all they can to meet your needs!!

4 Rivers is one of our favorite restaurants already, so when we saw they were a preferred vendor for our venue, we knew we had to book them! The Catering Managers were so nice and helpful! I loved that we could choose food from The Coop as well- you can ask anyone at our wedding that the bride (me) wasn’t doing anything until she got that delicious chicken biscuit with the bourbon sauce! Our dinner was delicious too- and we enjoyed it for days after as they packed us to-go boxes. Their staff was amazing as well. Checking up on us if we needed anything and so friendly! Their decor was super cute too! We were beyond happy with our experience with 4 Rivers!

Choosing 4Rivers for our wedding was an easy choice to make. We were really impressed with the taste testing and how many options there were to create our own menu. The catering manager was very helpful in advising us on how to keep within our budget as well. The day-of catering staff were very professional and helpful and made us feel like we didn't have to worry about a thing on such a busy day!

We already loved 4Rivers but getting to have it at our wedding was awesome. The tasting was the start of all of the fun and then it was just a wait until the wedding day for the full experience. We also used their bar service and it was great. All of the people on staff were so great. I can't say enough good things about this place!

4Rivers catered our wedding a few weeks ago and did an amazing job. The food display was beautiful and worked well with our "rustic" theme. The staff was extremely helpful, even helping wipe down the dance floor after a light shower. They truly went above and beyond. In addition, prior to the wedding, they were very responsive in helping plan all of the details, with minimal effort required of us. We had many guests and family members compliment the food and ask where it was from. We highly recommend 4R for catering and bartending service.

So if you are thinking that BBQ will set the right tone for your reception, then you are correct. First off they have you come in for a tasting where you test tons of the food, and its all delicious. They help you select out your favorites, and also have a sweet shop if you want to do a one stop shop. We did brisket, burnt ends, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and grits. Our guests raved about the food. My family is from Texas and are picky about their BBQ and this lived up their super high expectations. They create a proposal, and listen to your budget concerns. Kelly helped us immensely, and we tweaked the menu a ton. We had last minute guests add and drop, we also used them for our beer and wine, and their bar tender was super nice! We also had to cancel our first attempt at getting married due to hurricane Irma, and they were so understanding, and helped us select a new future date. The attendants at the reception were incredibly nice, and our guests were appropriately fed and watered. They were total pros, bbq was so fun for a reception, and we loved having them!!!

Okay, now that we are done swimming in delicious corn and bean salsa, cupcakes, mac and cheese, cornbread, etc. we can finally share how happy we were with having 4Rivers cater our wedding. From the beginning stages of planning with Kelli, who we have to say, is absolutely wonderful to work with, and so patient! We had quite a few modifications, and each and every single time, she modified our order in such an encouraging and positive way! Thank you, Kelli! You made it so much easier! Now on to the actual event. The staff at 4Rivers was absolutely amazing, and smiley! Everyone complimented how helpful and kind they were. I recall sitting at the sweetheart table and being greeted with our plates and treated so nicely. Very memorable. It was a VERY cold day, but the food was nice and warm and SO delicious. EVERYTHING was delicious. From the appetizers, to the actual entrees, to our delicious desserts. The best part - they wrapped up all of our leftovers for us and we basically had delicious food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then some! Our 4Rivers bartenders were absolutely awesome. Great personalities! We felt like we were in good hands the entire time and made for an easy breezy wedding day. Thank you, 4Rivers! We love you!

I was first introduced to 4 Rivers Smokehouse when I traveled to Florida regularly for work and loved their food. I made a point of building in extra time to my schedule to make sure I could stop by before heading back home to Atlanta. So when I heard they were opening a location closer to home I was super excited for two reasons. Obviously the first being the amazing BBQ and atmosphere but second it meant we could have them cater my wedding. The later reason was the opportunity that 4 Rivers Smokehouse used to make me a raving fan for a lifetime and it had nothing to do with how delicious the food was. Sean and the rest of the catering team did a phenomenal taking care of us and our guests on our big day. There was never a moment that my wife and I ever worried about the food. Sean spent so much time answering any and all of our questions (there were a lot) and assuring us that we wouldn't have to worry about anything and he and the team definitely lived up to the commitment. All of our guests commented to us during and after the wedding how amazing the staff was. If anyone is needing someone to cater an event where they do not want to have to worry one bit about the food and know that their guests will be taken care of and go above and beyond what a normal catering group would do 4 Rivers Catering is the way to go! In summary, the food at 4 Rivers is delicious but after everything they did for us and how they make us feel every time we visit the restaurant I will always consider them family!

The food at our wedding was a BIG hit! We are still getting compliments from guests about 4Rivers being the best food they've had at a wedding before! All of the staff and coordinators from 4Rivers were so sweet and helpful at our wedding. They were so nice and boxed up food for us and some of our other guests after the wedding. We also rented our linens for the guest tables from them and they turned out looking beautiful. 4Rivers did not disappoint!

Amazing food! So happy with our decision to use 4Rivers and their Sweet Shop for all of our food, desserts and wedding cake included. Kelli was so helpful with the decision making process, from choosing the amount of food to designing a menu for the buffet and cocktail hour. Jazmyne at the Sweet Shop was also amazing at the cake tasting, helping to pair cake flavors, filling and frosting, especially with help designing a surprise grooms cake with a football theme. The staff provided for the day of was helpful, friendly, and very professional. Everyone is still talking about of amazing all the food was. Definitely one of the highlights of the day!

Our caterer was 4Rivers BBQ. The amount of compliments that we got from our guest on the choice of food was awesome. Their food is AMAZING. My husband won't shut up about their Burnt Ends and Baked Beans. Their pricing is fair and the basic setup worked for us. The only complaint was we thought it would be set up, not just put into the chaffing with sterno’s. When we were starting dinner, we found that we still had to open everything so it definitely took some extra time and I ended up getting a nice cut on the finger.

They showed up on time and worked in a timely manner to get everything inside the venue. The bbq/sides were great and everyone enjoyed it, especially the pulled pork and bbq beans!

We ordered cake balls from them for our wedding. The end result was fabulous, the cake balls were a hit and turned out beautifully. However, we had some significant difficulty with communication and often went weeks without returned emails or phone calls which is frustrating when you are trying to plan a large event.

4Rivers was AMAZING! We hired them for catering, bartending, and we used the Sweet Shop for our cake and mini-dessert bar. Our guests were all talking about how much they loved the food and cake. One of my guests told me it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. The bartenders were not stingy with the alcohol, which my guest appreciated. The whole team was great to work with. The were very responsive, and they didn't mind that my husband and I made lots of little changes throughout the planning. They were also extremely reasonably priced, especially compared to other caterers we looked at. They gave us lots of advice on how to work with our budget and really worked with us to get costs down where we could. They were also so much more upfront with their prices than some other vendors who quoted us one number which then magically doubled. The whole team was awesome, but Kelli really helped us out a lot. Booking 4Rivers was one of the best decisions we could have made!

HOLY MOLY !! did everyone love our food and cakes !!! they didn't disappoint and literally made the best team. They listened to all my wants and made everything happen. Let me say 8 groomsmen were very impressed with the food and left stuffed. I am still getting compliments on how good the food and cupcakes were. If you use 4rivers they send you back to the hotel that night with a "to-go bag" ! so you get to eat all over again bc no matter what happens at a reception, you will not get time to eat everything on your plate. They are on the ball with everything !!

We used the Sweet Shop for a 6" cutting cake and an assortment of mini-cupcakes for our guests. Not only was 4 Rivers the most affordable option, but the quality of the cupcakes and cake were top-notch. We ordered 240 mini cupcakes to feed about 125 guests and WE HAD NO LEFTOVERS! Literally, every single cupcake had been either eaten or taken home for later. It's also really nice that for no extra charge, they will "signature frost" the cupcakes, so the vanilla bean cupcake had white chocolate shavings and our double-chocolate cupcake had a chocolate chip in the icing. They also offered display options we could rent. We worked with Kate Kersting and she was extremely responsive and had excellent communication skills, and made the entire process really smooth and easy for us.

4 Rivers was excellent! We had an in-person tasting meeting with Emily Harrison. She was very professional and friendly and helped us work within our budget. The day of the wedding, the servers worked super well. They even accommodated our unusually long cocktail list, which I still feel bad about. The food was excellent and they have tasty vegetarian options, including veggie quesadillas and black bean burgers. The only problem, and the reason I can't give a full five stars, is that the black bean burgers were cold. They were piled on top of a burner, but the top ones, which of course are the first to be served, weren't getting any heat. But that was my only complaint.

We are living in a time where face to face meetings aren't always possible. My meetings with 4Rivers were primarily through a few phone calls and tons of emails with Kelli Cavanaugh. She was awesome to work with and I never had a single problem. She was always willing to oblige my requests, make changes to the menu and answer my questions. The day of the wedding everything went perfectly. The food was delicious! We had smoked turkey, beef brisket and burnt ends. The turkey was so moist and delicious... Probably the best I have ever had. Our sides were macaroni and cheese, Cole slaw, John's potato salad and southern green beans. My 94 year old grandmother who has refused to eat cheese all of her life had the macaroni and cheese and loved it! 0.0 Our appetizers were the beef brisket bruschetta and vegetables skewers. The beef brisket bruschetta must have been a hit during the cocktail hour because there were none left over. The price of the catering was affordable fair and a great deal. A lot better than estimates I had received from other vendors with southern buffet menus. If you are looking for great customer service, delicious comfort food at an affordable price then I highly recommend 4Rivers as your caterer for your special event. And not just that the food tastes good...the caterer needs to be on time, brings the plates and silverware, has friendly servers, etc. There are a ton of options to choose from in Orlando but 4 Rivers absolutely nailed it in every way. We decided to list the reasons to hire 4 Rivers to help you make your decision. 1. The food was awesome. I have been to weddings where the food wasn't very good or it was cold. We opted for buffet-style brisket and chicken with sides and the food was piping hot and tastes just like it does in the restaurant. Multiple people said it was the best food they've had at a wedding....mmmmmm meat. 2. Service was awesome. We hired 4 Rivers to serve appetizers, the food and provide a bartender. Food service was efficient and the servers were really nice. Even prior to the wedding, when I dropped liquor off at the warehouse, their staff was super nice there too. 3. Bartender was super awesome. I bartended for years and was going to hire a friend but it was easier to use 4 Rivers (and pretty inexpensive). Turned out to be an excellent choice. He was friendly, mixed tasty drinks and we never had a line even with 100 people. 4. Very fair pricing. Early in our caterer search, I almost had a heart attack looking at pricing. 4 Rivers was by far the most friendly on our pocket of the ones we researched. I wouldn't say "cheap" but for the quality of food and service, we felt like we got a steal. 5. Dena, the catering manager, is great to work with. Dena coordinated everything and made sure we were taken care of. She responds quickly and was super sweet. Bottom line: hire them. They have a great operation, are really flexible and with the sweet shop, rentals and partnership with the Coop, you have everything you'd ever need! Thanks!!

If you're familiar with Orlando, you know about 4Rivers and how amazing their food is and their catering team did not disappoint! We worked with Dena and she was fantastic! She was super responsive and answered all of our crazy questions! They were so accommodating and met all of our requests! In addition to the main BBQ, we also did a whole dessert table from their Sweet Shop and it was scrumptious! Their serving team was professional and set up everything perfectly! Their food speaks for itself and their service is seriously top notch!

My husband and I got married in October. Our date was supposed to be the 6th, but because Hurricane Matthew decided to land that day, we had to push our date forward to the 5th. 4 Rivers Smokehouse was able to help out and deliver our food and drinks the day before with a days notice. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We were a small party of 15 plus staff. There was plenty of food available, no one went home hungry. I would definitely recommend 4 Rivers catering.

Who doesn't love 4 Rivers??? They did an amazing job as always with feeding all the people I love and did it so well! In addition to the appetizers and dinner, we had them provide the bartenders and our cake, which was made just to our specifications and turned out so well!! The taste testing had us hooked. The food was great and the service was great, but working with this vendor was difficult. The catering managers do not answer emails once they have your deposit, they don't update invoices properly or look at before they send you. You get what you pay for. $

I have always enjoyed 4 Rivers but I still search for caterers to see who provided the best price and food! 4 Rivers was so helpful and courteous. We were provided with a taste testing and they worked within our budget. I spoke to several people at the wedding and every person said the food was amazing! I highly recommend them and they also have food choices from the Coop which helped expand the menu even more and provided bartenders. Thanks again 4 Rivers! J&T

The staff that came to the wedding were awesome and most of the food was good, however the meat was pretty cold by the time we ate (right on schedule) so I was pretty disappointed. Their food is usually so good, but cold pulled pork just isn't the greatest.

Food was DELICIOUS!! Our guests were ranting and raving about it. Staff was great and very flexible. Communication was on point and they offered multiple tastings and changes during the planning period. There were a couple miscommunications regarding the number and color of tablecloths and the staff didn't stay until the very end as contracted to help with cleanup (much to my coordinator's and mom's dismay). Other than that, I would definitely recommend!

If you think eating in their restaurant is good, try catering them for your wedding!!! They were AMAZING and people are still talking about it months later! The staff was so nice and polite as well. The food was so good and we used them for our cake too which turned out perfect!!

Weddings are busy. There's a ton of people that want your attention, you've been running around all day thinking about all of the things you have to do. When do you have time to eat?? Let me tell you something... I was skeptical about having bbq at my wedding. White dress, hello?! However, I am so glad I followed my fiance's advice because the food was impeccable. I was starving once the reception started and the food really hit the spot. Be sure to get the brisket and quesadillas, they're amazing!! When our guests found out who our caterer was, they were so excited to eat REAL FOOD, and not the small piece of dry chicken or fish with some vegetables they'd never eat. Also, you should note that 4R doesn't offer a bar package, however, if you choose you may supply your own drinks or have the restaurant purchase the items for you at an additional fee. It's a lot cheaper than getting packages from other caterers! Kelli Cavanaugh was my main contact throughout the whole planning process and she was amazing. She always made sure to follow through with me on how to get the menu set up, creating a floor plan, and what I should be expecting leading up to the wedding. Kelli was always responsive in her emails and really put me at ease. Our wait staff did a great job as well. I like that their presence was more low key. You didn't really notice them moving about too much but they always took care of the guests and followed a tight schedule. You will not be disappointed in choosing 4R as your caterer. Your guests will love you, promise!

Heres the thing: I LOVE 4RIVERS FOOD! OMG.. they are the best. BUT they have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The process throughout the year was so unorganized and frustrating. The catering managers do not answer emails, update invoices properly or even know how to handle a client relationship. The staff needs more training and experience badly.

Amazing food and service at our reception! Everyone (especially out of town guests) were blown away by how good the food was. I was told multiple times that it was the best food ever served at a wedding, which is awesome to hear. We also had two bartenders that were absolutely incredible. We heard a ton of compliment about how great they were and they quickly memorized drink orders, and had them ready to go! We did have some planning and communication issues beforehand. It seemed that things were a little rushed and not very organized. But overall, we could not have chosen better food for our wedding!

We made the best choice with catering 4 rivers! They were so easy to work with and made this part of the wedding process a breeze. The food was fantastic, the servers were outstanding, the mason jar dispensers went perfectly with our theme, and the cake was my favorite part!! The food was delicious! Our guest enjoyed every bit of bbq we had, although I do feel that it was a little pricey. Also, I did not care for the customer service. From the very beginning we felt rushed/pushed around. It felt as if they wanted to fly through the tastings to get us out before the restaurant opened or to move onto the next couple. We had issues with the prices being way too high and not getting a response is a timely manner. As for our actual dinner and the quality, 4Rivers is amazing!

4 Rivers was perfect for our Southern Chic themed wedding. We did pass appetizers, family style service, and dessert display. The the wait staff and coordinator were great to work with. We were told, by more than one guest, that it was the best wedding food they have had!

My husband and I are big fans of BBQ, and even bigger fans of 4 Rivers. When we found out that we could have 4Rivers cater for us, we knew it would be the perfect "soul food" for the night before our big day. Our rehearsal dinner had about 35 guests. Some we completely new to this yummy BBQ and were instant fans. I was able to handle all the planning with Kelli, through emails which was a lot easier for me as I was planning most of my wedding from work. She was always quick with a response and was always a delight. The food was delivered ontime, hot and presented very well. I couldn't have been happier with their service and would recommend them to anyone. I know we will use them again in the future! Thanks 4Rivers!
