Not only is the venue beautiful but the owners and staff are as well! Not only did they accept our wedding on short notice as we had issues with another vendor, but they made the day wonderful. I had a specific vision and angelica and marissa made it come to life! Thank you so much!!
Todd, Angelica and Marissa were great and very professional! They were so sweet as welcoming and I felt very comfortable every time I was there. Marissa the wedding coordinator was phenomenal!! She was on time , organized and did a great job making sure everyone was where they needed to be and knew what to do. She was great the day of on making sure I was hydrated and when it got hot she would fan me! She was there every step of the way and I couldn’t do it without her! Angelica did great with the decorations and stayed in the themes I gave her! I would use this place again for anything!
I got married at 9th Sky Reserve last year and it was an amazing experience! Between the gorgeous venue and the spectacular staff, it was truly a day filled with joy!! The ceremony space is the definition of tranquility and beauty, the reception hall was gorgeous with its tall ceilings and chandelier with a huge dance floor! I cannot say enough great things about this venue. Just go tour it and talk with the owners, you'll fall in love with this rustic elegant venue just as we did!
What an amazing experience, Angelica and Todd were absolute sweethearts . And Marissa was literally perfect . I don’t know what I would’ve done without her ! The venue was decorated beautifully, we got so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was . It’s affordable and just absolutely stunning, pictures don’t do it justice . We didn’t have any issues at all. It was a pleasant experience from the booking to the day of . We’re so grateful and thankful for how much work the venue staff put in for our special day . The bartenders were absolutely amazing as well!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We attended our daughter's wedding here this last Saturday. The entire experience was fantastic. The venue is nestled in a forested area with a nice deck/dock extending out onto a nice, picturesque pond. Angelica and Todd, the owners, are friendly and extremely helpful. As we were setting up for the reception, they both offered wonderful and relevant suggestions. The main building has a kitchen, a bar, and rooms for the bride and her attendants as well as for the groom and his ushers. The atmoshere was both festive and relaxing at the same time. Words really cannot describe the beauty of the venue. If you are looking for a wedding venue, you can't go wrong here
9th Sky Reserve was PERFECT. Our experience with them was so phenomenal and I will NEVER get over how much I enjoyed my wedding.
1) super reasonably priced. Easily the most affordable place we looked at, WITHOUT sacrificing any quality of service.
2) easy to work with. Angelica was so easy to get in touch with when I had questions or requests. She was so professional and enthusiastic through the whole process.
3) INCREDIBLE staff. Marissa, the day of coordinator, was a godsend. She made my day so easy and stress-free. I didn’t have to worry about a single detail day of - Marissa had it covered! She did not let anyone bother me about petty details, and if anything went wrong, I have no idea, because I didn’t handle it! The bar staff and DJ were also super great.
4) absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking for an outdoor venue that is both romantic and fun, you’ve found it.
I literally cannot recommend 9th Sky Reserve enough. More than one guest told me afterwards that it was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding, and a BIG part of that was the incredible owners and staff at 9th Sky Reserve.
Angelica and Todd, the owners, were absolutely lovely through the booking and touring. I had all the faith in the world that my special day was going to be fabulous.
But then the day came...
My family, friends, photographer, and even guests were working all morning make the venue ready. We were taking down Christmas decorations, cleaning, setting up tables, and doing all the work the venue said that they were going to do. My father was even gathering branches off the path down to the ceremony to be usable. They were burning trash and sticks and a bonfire just to get rid of it all in time. Their coordinator did not even show up until 1 PM when she told all of my vendors and me that she was going to be there at 10 AM to help with set up and give direction. She was entirely unhelpful and disorganized the entire time . The groom's quarters, linens, event space, refrigerators, and grounds were in such bad shape that some of it was unusable . The smells coming from the refrigerators were so bad that we couldn't use them. The groom's quarters had empty bottles, rotten food, dishes in the sink, and laundry on the floor. We had paid extra for a COVID cleanse, which was
required, but it was clear that the venue had not been cleaned at all . When my mother asked about hand sanitizer, the owner shrugged and said that she would get hand sanitizer if she had to. My mom ended up doing it anyway. The whole day we could hear the owner's trash talking us and telling us that they wished they had canceled our wedding. Mind you, we had to reschedule our wedding from November because we had COVID and were charged $500 to do so. The whole day was shrouded by nothing but negativity from the owners and they were completely unhelpful. They were heard multiple times bad mouthing us and were shoving us out of the venue by 8 PM even though we had the venue space until 11 PM. Also , we hired the son of the owner to be our DJ because he was suggested. We painstakingly put in a lot of time to create playlists for our ceremony, reception, and the dancing portion of the wedding. Instead, the DJ chose to play his own music, some of which was inappropriate songs for
children since we had a lot of my nieces and nephews there that were under the age of 12. I tried to just keep swallowing all of these things because I just wanted to have a great wedding day and not confront it at the time, though my husband did go over and talk to the DJ and asked him if he still had a playlist and he said yes . We later found out that my niece asked the DJ to play one of the songs that was on our playlist and the DJ told her no . The whole day, the owners and the staff members that we hired simply did whatever they wanted to do and did not lift a finger to help us or try to give us the services that we paid for. I will say that the bartenders were outstanding and incredibly kind. Two days after the wedding, I implored them about our security deposit, as it was not returned within the 24 hours, as was in the contract. Angelica, the owner, asked me if I had a great time at the wedding, and I expressed some concerns. She then went to forward my message to
her
husband, Todd. She made a huge error in her texting abilities because she responded to me "from the b****… FYI". When this came back to me, I was 100% sure that all of the things people have been telling me all day about her bad mouthing me and my bridesmaids and my family were hundred percent true. The have wiped all negative reviews.
Our wedding at 9th Sky Reserve was spectacular! I still can't believe how easy going it was and how beautifully everything turned out. We had our wedding postponed due to covid last March. The 9th sky reserve team went above and beyond to make us feel special and reassured us the whole time that we would get our special day 💍Our guests were happy, we were ecstatic that we got our dream wedding at the wedding venue of our dreams! I really wish I could add photos to this review because they are honestly that beautiful! If you are looking for an elegant rustic experience with a lake ceremony and reception hall with a beautiful chandelier for a great price, 9th Sky is the way to go! Best Day Ever 3/20/21💜

The tranquility & peacefulness was AMAZING!! Angelica & Todd are AMAZING people and we wish everyone could be like them!!! They have beautiful thoughts and amazing ideas which makes this venue stress free and very enjoyable, not to mention the entire place is GRAND!!! Love is what Angelica & Todd are all about and literally make you feel this way!!! The bridal suite was very lovely & made me feel very special!!! Being nestled in the woods and feeling like you are in your own world meant a lot to myself & my husband!!! We could not have picked a better place and are very content that we chose 9th Sky!!! Our photographer, Naomi Howard was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING along with our minister Sammy Crosby!!! We were so happy to have all of these kind & sweet people surrounding us along with my son Wade & his soon to be bride Melanie!!! We are very blessed & loving life thanks to 9th Sky and all of the people around us on September 24 2020. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!!!
We just had our wedding here on Aug 8th and we were so happy! All of our guests were so impressed with Angelica and Todd!!They accommodated us in every way possible. They made this day, a day to remember forever. The property is peaceful and makes for great photo backdrops. Even in the heat of August in Texas, we were comfortable. We highly recommend 9th Sky Reserve for your wedding or any other large function.
This venue is pretty and has lots to offer. However, I just attended a wedding here this year and I've got to say, IT WAS SOOOOOO HOT!!! They have very poor central air, and a window unit in the downstairs area. The Bridal suite was kind of a joke. It was tiny and WAYYYY to HOT to get ready in there (upstairs). The poor bride was drenched in sweat way before she ever had to put on her gown. I would HIGHLY suggest to the venue owner, please invest in ceramic window coverings to reduce the heat let in by all the windows upstairs. Or maybe even go as far as replacing the windows all together as I'm sure their seals are no good anymore. I'd also suggest you replace the AC vent in the upstairs bedroom as well as the air flow was going towards the wall/window and not the center of the room. I noticed the Groom's Suite felt amazing! It felt like an ice box compared to the Bridal Suite. In my opinion, these suites really should be switched. You could install mirror window clings to insure no guests are able to view the bride from outside.
Angelica is most amazing person I’ve ever had pleasure of meeting she will go out the way to make sure your taking care of she really wants your special day to be perfect
We went to the Grand Opening of The 9th-Sky Reserve , wedding venue and we were impressed. Was a surprise to find this jewel in the middle of the nature, quiet and amazing, it blows your mind. Angelica's passion for weddings, decorations and combined with her organization and attention to detail make this place amazing place for a wedding. Was a perfect day, even that was raining, we enjoy it. I will recommend this place for anybody who likes to be in the middle of the nature, be loud, be happy and have a stress-free wedding....
We had the chance to join the Grand Opening weekend. Really Grand! The venue is mirific, right in the middle of nature, ceremony deck on the lake, newly married couple white room, carriage, and "bubbly" champagne. The place is ready for the prince and the princess. Paradise!
