Lisa has been one of my favorite florists for years. I have worked with Ixora for over 6 years as a Wedding Coordinator and Venue Manager. I was lucky enough to get to work with her on my own wedding on 5/10/25. Our sample meeting was one of the highlights of our planning process. We went into the meeting with a very specific vision. Lisa had created it to a T but also created an alternate arrangement as a possibility. I ended up falling head over heels for that arrangement and we completely changed our plan. As you can see from the photos, it turned out perfectly! Working in the industry, I can tell you that I recommend renting as much as you can from one vendor. Not only did Lisa handle our florals, we rented the vessels, candles, and chuppah from her as well! Lisa truly makes sure that your day is a representation of you and your vision.
Agnes and her team coordinated our wedding at Castle Green on 11/23. From the beginning, Agnes was so helpful and made sure to make the planning process as stress-free as possible. Our day would not have been the same without her and her team. I could tell from a short phone call with Agnes that she ran a high quality business and would be a pleasure to work with.
We hired her as a partial planner and she gave us all the resources we needed to move forward on time and on task, in addition to having perfectly paced out meetings with her to see how things were going.
Her attention to detail is remarkable.
During rehearsal, Agnes noticed my officiant kept gesturing to her chest when she mentioned the mic. She realized that our officiant needed a lapel mic, but apparently there wasn't one listed on the DJ's equipment list. I think she solved the issue by contacting our DJ and making sure he brought one. He hadn't followed up on his meeting with us that week so I think she actually solved a problem we would have had otherwise. It's that kind of awareness and care that makes her so incredible.
Agnes made me feel much more comfortable about the whole process. I felt a sense of ease knowing that I was in such good hands. She is kind and generous with her time and knowledge. I couldn't have appreciated how much work goes into planning a wedding until I went through it myself, and having someone so kind-hearted like Agnes on our side was invaluable.
Her whole team is kind and professional and made us feel taken care of the whole wedding day. I can’t and don’t want to imagine having our wedding without her.

A Fabulous Soiree is an absolute necessity for weddings and parties. I would say as essential as the wedding dress. I considered not having a wedding planner, but it's a vital service...especially a good team like A Fabulous Soiree. I got to experience A Fabulous Soiree's team as a wedding guest and as the bride. Both experiences were wonderful and positive.
As the bride: Agnes helped with recommendation and coordination of vendors, assisted in creating timelines, communication with vendors and guests, planning (she gave suggestions, tips, and things to consider that I would have never thought about which helped our wedding to run smoothly), setup (her team helped with setting up all our signage, place cards, table decor, etc.). Agnes' support was so impactful in alleviating stress, especially during the weeks leading up to the wedding. During this time there are so many people to answer to and seemingly small tasks build up to a very large to-do list.
As a guest: Her team was able to guide guests to where they needed to be in a gentle and subtle way. Her team had answers for guests which saved us from bothering the bride & groom, wedding party, and family members. Our guests loved how friendly her team was to everyone and felt like they were friends by the end of the evening.
When everything is in place and you've worked so hard to plan and schedule all the pieces, leave it to A Fabulous Soiree to help ensure the pieces are in place. Most important, on the day of our wedding...having A Fabulous Soiree's team saved me from worry. I knew they had everything handled and I only had to focus on enjoying all the memorable moments.
I was on the fence about a coordinator but since I only had 4 months to plan I knew I needed some help. Agnes was absolutely amazing. She responded to me at 11pm when I was overthinking a floor plan, was extremely responsive via text and email every time I reached out. I am very detail oriented and thank god she is exactly the same. Everything from the timeline to the floor plan to the set up list was meticulously put together.
Day of Agnes couldn't be there so my day of coordinator was Brenda who was absolutely amazing. I literally didn't think of anything on the day of my wedding except having fun which is exactly how it should be.

Agnes and team were wonderful! From our initial consult she put us at ease- we really wanted someone who had experience planning similar weddings to ours (we had a combined tea ceremony and then Western evening ceremony and reception at three locations). Agnes always responded quickly to any questions we had and was so helpful in creating our timeline and handling logistics. The actual day of our wedding is when I was most impressed- everything went so smoothly and it was great not to stress about details because the team was there every step of the day handling setup, reminding us where to be, keeping our wedding party on track, and making sure we had time to do all the things we prioritized (family photos, etc.). I would highly recommend AFS to anyone thinking about hiring a coordinator or planner- it's so worth it!
My husband and I definitely recommend Agnes and her team! We really appreciated how responsive and professional Agnes was when we reached out. There were a lot of things involved in wedding planning that we weren’t aware of and Agnes made sure to address them and have all our bases covered. I felt well supported every step of the way! When we had little breaks during the reception, the team made it a point to ensure that we had eaten some dinner and to take care of ourselves amidst the chaos of the day. My family and friends also talk a lot about how fun the day was and how impressed they were with how it all came together and none of this would have happened without Agnes and her team! I don’t think we could have chosen a better planner. :) Also, my husband and I were a bit anxious, especially since we’re used to being very hands on for our events, but in just the first few emails and meetings we really got a sense that we could leave our wedding in A Fabulous Soirée’s hands and not worry about every little detail. Agnes and her team were amazing. She helped made my dream wedding come true. From start the finish, she was hands on, professional, on top of things, and went above and beyond. We knew immediately upon meeting Agnes that she would be a great fit to help coordinate our wedding. She has amazing attention to detail, kept impeccable notes, and provided a ton of information to us. She was never too busy to answer our questions or emails and always had a patient and confident attitude no matter what we threw her way. Knowing she and her team had done many events at our venue (which is how we found her), we knew she’d be familiar and capable to manage the wedding.
On the wedding day, Val led the event from Agnes’ team and she was the perfect person to manage the day. She handled all the vendors, personal items, and was able to adjust the timeline on the fly as things changed or came up. She kept my husband and I comfortable and relaxed without any need to worry. Val helped to resolve a dress issue that I had with such a warm demeanor and proactive attitude. The AFS team also helped to set up our personal items and photos and made sure all the decorations were set up and looked nice.
Agnes, Val, and the whole AFS team were such a joy to work with and should we ever put on another large event we would absolutely use them again to coordinate and help plan. Thank you so much for all your hard work throughout this process!!
After reaching out to a few different wedding coordinators we finally had a chance to connect with Agnes. Within the first few minutes of our initial phone chat, we felt extremely comfortable and at ease as she answered our questions and kept our conversation very casual – which is how we like to operate. From day one Agnes reduced the pressure associated with wedding planning. She reminded us of details that would have been overlooked and routinely followed up with various vendors to obtain final head count, rentals etc. Agnes and her team even helped save the day and purchased more alcohol when we were told we were running low! Everything was well organized - even little details surpassed our expectations. We kept a tight schedule and followed the timeline, so no event was missed (first dance, cake cutting etc.)
To sum it up, we’re not sure anyone besides Agnes (and her team who helped on the actual wedding day) could have made us feel more confident of execution and staying on plan or as reassured and unstressed for our wedding. She is a great person who we gelled with very well because of her always positive attitude and we are extremely grateful for everything she and her team helped us with! We highly recommend Agnes for the most coordinated, detail oriented, and thoughtful wedding coordinator you could work with!
Agnes and her team are so professional and are incredibly on top of it. If you're a bride, give yourself a wedding gift and book Agnes as your coordinator. She will make sure that 1) everything goes smoothly, 2) family drama (happened at my wedding) doesn't affect you, 3) YOU GET TO EAT AT YOUR WEDDING!

Agnes and her team at A Fabulous Soiree were amazing on the day of my wedding as well as the months leading up to it. I didn't have to rack my brain wondering if I forgot anything, because they had monthly reminders of what I should be doing (like getting my marriage license 3 months before the wedding date) and when. I was always at peace planning this wedding, because I knew I had A Fabulous Soiree on my side making sure that everything is organized and nothing forgotten. They had a timeline that they shared with all my vendors so I did not have to worry about coordinating anything. This also ensured that the day went smoothly without any delays or hiccups. My wedding was everything I wanted it to be and more and it was largely because of Agnes and her team. Agnes was also always available and prompt with her responses when I had any questions or concerns. She is kind and genuine and I never felt like I was bothering her. I also have to give a shoutout to Kim who was the one there the day of the wedding. She made sure that everything was set up and that everything was taken down properly at the end of the day. She also made sure that we stuck to our timeline and that we always had a drink in our hands! If I have ever do a vow renewal, I will definitely be using Agnes and her team again!
After speaking to about five different vendors, I was having difficulty finding the right coordinator. For example, one potential vendor never showed up to a scheduled consultation meeting, admittingly stating she had forgotten. Another vendor even tried to charge extra hours after claiming our venue had a set number of hours that a coordinator must be present for –which was later confirmed as untrue! I started to wonder if I was asking for too much.
After doing some research on Wedding Wire and Instagram (@afabsoiree), I found a Fabulous Soiree. Agnes and her team had stellar reviews and even had previous experience working with our venue. From the moment I contacted her, she was responsive and professional. You know how when you talk to someone and they just get you without you having to overexplain? Well, this was how I felt about Agnes after our initial call. After speaking with my fiancé, we decided to book A Fabulous Soiree.
One of my favorite aspects of Agnes’ services is having unlimited communication. There were many times when I would text Agnes random questions throughout the planning process, and it was great to have her input. Even leading up to the big day, she would check-up on me and ask if I needed anything from her. This kind gesture was greatly appreciated and really demonstrates how caring Agnes is! I also loved having complimentary access to Agnes’ rental inventory. The little things can begin to add up, so it was wonderful to be able to borrow her picture frames, card box, and cake stand.
On the wedding day, Agnes was truly amazing. As a bride, you can easily get caught up in things beyond your control. Agnes really reminded us to enjoy the moment and did everything on her part to ensure we had a memorable day. She knew how to prioritize my husband and me, whether getting us food or drinks or playing crowd control when it got overwhelming for us. She was always organized and on top of the schedule. It almost seemed effortless for her, which is a true testament that her experience and positive attitude are something that can’t be matched. I highly recommend her for your big day! We booked AFS back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, but with the pandemic everything was pushed back. Agnes always checked back in whenever our new wedding date got close. (Until we had to push the date out again)
Fast forward to 2022, we finally are closing in to the celebration and finalizing details has always been smooth. Agnes was the best and helped do all the communication with my other vendors. She also made sure to generate a timeline to share with the other vendors so all would be on the same page.
On the day, her team was so great. They helped setup everything according to what was discussed. They made sure we were hydrated by standing by with some water. They were able to manage basically everything! We were barely pulled aside for any questions.
We were able to live in the moment on our wedding day and had the best time. We had so many guests tell us what a great wedding it was and we know it wouldn’t have been as great if we didn’t have Agnes and her team’s assistance. It was so stress-free and all my husband and I had to do was celebrate with our friends and family. Highly recommend AFS to help any couples with their big day!
Having Agnes as your wedding coordinator is like having a friend by your side helping you do all your wedding planning. I had the pleasure of planning my wedding from the other side of the country and Agnes was able to make me feel at ease the ENTIRE TIME. Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to work with Agnes and her team for a wedding at the Maxwell House in Pasadena (I'm a wedding DJ). From start to finish, it was clear that Agnes cared about the couple and was willing to put in the time/effort needed to make sure even the smaller details were perfect. She even attended one of the meetings I had with the couple (which I've found is rare for a wedding planner/coordinator). This was certainly not expected of her, but it really made a difference in making sure all of us were in sync on the couple's timeline.
At the wedding itself, Agnes and her team were attentive, friendly, and professional. Setup was completed early, the venue looked incredible, and the timeline ran smoothly. The couple was super happy at the end of the wedding!

Honestly, when picking a wedding coordinator/planner, you need to have someone who is easy to work with, someone who is OCD about the details, and someone who puts down the "sunset time," on your wedding day! Ultimately it is YOUR wedding, so you need to find someone whom you won't be afraid to bother because he/she is there to make your perfect day become reality.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is stressful, to say the least. We had to change our wedding plans 4-5 times due to the ever-changing gathering/dining restrictions. However, Agnes met us each step of the way with positivity and an energy that kept us excited about our wedding day. Her punctuality/timeliness speaks to her professionalism. Her genuine interest in the bride/groom’s desires for their special day — despite all the logistical changes and restrictions — speaks to her genuine heart.
We found Agnes by way of recommendation from one of our friends shortly after we got engaged, and we could not be more grateful to have worked with such a wonderful coordinator! Agnes was very organized, communicative, approachable, and patient (she was ALWAYS happy to answer all of our questions – believe me, we had so many questions!). We felt prepared for our wedding day, as Agnes ironed out every detail with us and walked us through our timeline. Our wedding day was seamless – Agnes and her assistant, Valerie, handled the vendors, took care of all the small details, set up and tore down everything without us noticing, made sure we were comfortable, and made sure we kept to our time. We even had extra time for ourselves to enjoy during the wedding! At the end of the night, everything we had brought to the venue was neatly packed and ready to go. We'd recommend Agnes 100 times over!
A Fabulous Soiree was absolutely top notch. Agnes was so responsive, we were blown away by how quickly she would follow up with us, how organized she was and how great she was at also keeping us organized and on track with anything on our to-do list. She listened to all of our ideas and immediately was on board and would jump on figuring out solutions to any problem. Most importantly, COVID-19 completely turned all of our wedding plans upsidedown and Agnes was so flexible and ready to help us through any change in plans at the drop of a hat. We went through planning at least three versions of our wedding due to constant changes in COVID-19 restrictions, and Agnes had a game plan ready for every scenario. We ended up needing to have a very unconventional wedding to ensure all of our family was able to safely celebrate with us, and Agnes and her team went above and beyond to make sure that happened. The fact that Agnes was so ready and eager to help us find a way to have our wedding take place, and the fact that she had such a great can-do attitude despite all of the COVID-19 obstacles really kept us going and meant a lot to us that she was so passionate about her work and helping us have a great wedding day even under difficult circumstances.
I had a surprised bridal shower by A Fab Soiree and friends. Agnes was my bridesmaid and she led the planning and execution of the event. I might be biased but I think it might just be the best shower ever! Agnes transformed my parents backyard to be a hot air balloon, high tea wonderland. The emaculate details that goes into the planning is just amazing. I couldn't imagine the space being used the way it did, totally exceeded my expectations.
Agnes is very talented and resourceful. She also helped me made custom save the date cards and the most beautiful custom wedding invitation. She can make custom prints on shirts and bags, make invitations, backdrops, floral arrangements, you name it, she can do it! She always finds ways to improve and test her limits.
