A Glamour Affair: Makeup and Hair is based out of the Atlanta Metro area and specializes in wedding hairstyling and makeup application. Co-owners Nisha Carruth Lagana and Kristin Collins want to make their clients look and feel their best for their special day. While creating gorgeous styles, this duo’s zest for life will add a fun but calming energy to your final wedding-day preparations.
Nisha and Kristin have been best friends since elementary school. It is with this foundation of friendship that their business has grown. It started out organically, providing makeup and hairstyles as favors to their loved ones. As it transformed into a passion, this duo decided to take the leap into starting their own company. Since that time, many of their clients have become family. They take pride in watching many of them grow from their first dance to blissful brides on their wedding day.
A Glamour Affair provides on-site hair and makeup for weddings and other formal events. From sweeping curls to intricate updos, Kristin’s looks stand the test of the wedding day and all that comes with it. Nisha is the makeup guru whose long-wearing application presents a flawless face for the whole day and frequently into the next. This professional team also offers beauty treatments and services in preparation for the big day. Lash extensions, microblading, and brow shaping are just a few of the options available to enhance your wedding style.

I used A Glamour Affair for my wedding and I am so happy that I did! I cannot say enough about how fantastic these ladies were. From the second I walked into my trial appointment I knew we were in great hands. Nisha and Kristin were so unbelievably generous, so fun, and they did an amazing job on our hair and make-up. They really went above and beyond to make the start of my wedding day something special, and made us feel like we were right at home in the studio. I am so thankful that we chose them and we would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for an incredible experience!
I can’t say enough good things about a glamour affair! We had Nisha for our makeup and Lauren for hair. I am insanely picky with makeup and Nisha nailed the elevated natural look I was going for. After my trial there were a few things I wanted to adjust and she listened to everything I wanted and I loved how my makeup turned out on my wedding day. Lauren was also amazing and let me schedule a second last minute trial when I changed my mind about how I wanted my hair and it turned out perfectly! My bridesmaids, mom and MIL used them as well and everyone looked amazing! They were so much fun and brought a great energy to the bridal suite! They also timed everything out perfectly so we weren’t rushed at all and had time for last minute touch ups. Would definitely recommend them!
Nisha (makeup) and Deana (hair) were amazing! They brought professionalism with fun for the big day! My makeup was FLAWLESS and stayed put for the whole day despite some unexpected tears. My hair was perfect and stayed in place the whole night. I would hire these ladies all over again! They were such a fun part of my day and brought a fun yet relaxed energy while getting us all done and ready in record time. If you want to look amazing for your wedding AND enjoy the process along the way, this team is the way to go!

The girls at AGA took such great care of me! They absolutely nailed it at my trial, which made it a super relaxing and easy wedding day, because they already knew exactly what to do! Nisha and Kristin made all of my girls and myself feel so comfortable, we had such a great time! I’ve already recommended so many people to AGA, and will continue to do so!

You HAVE to hire A Glamour Affair for your wedding hair and makeup needs. They were hired for my sister's and my best friend's wedding that I was in, so by the time it was my turn to get married this year - I already knew I had to hire them for mine as I was always so impressed. And, again, they showed up and showed out for my big day! Nisha and Kristin are a power duo team with the most infectious personalities and unbelievable experience. They will bring to life any makeup or hair look you want, and it will always be stunning. Hair and makeup can sometimes be the scariest thing about a wedding (and what I hear most brides complain about post-wedding,) you will NOT have that with these guys. They will make you look flawless. I never had any doubts about it. I did the trial (which I recommend any bride do no matter who the hair or makeup person is,) they absolutely killed it there. That I knew I would be perfect on my wedding day, and of course my hair and makeup was everything I could've ever dreamed of on my big day. They made my group of me (the bride,) my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, my MIL, and my flower girl look fabulous. It also lasts all wedding day. They lock that hair and makeup in! They also did it in a tight timeline my venue enforced. They will make you smile, laugh, and feel beautiful on your wedding day. They brought my Hollywood Glam look to life, and I will forever be so thankful for this team!
A Glamour Affair was such a great hair salon to work with for my wedding! The staff had amazing communication throughout the time of booking until the day of my wedding. My hair stylist did an incredible job on my hair and I couldn't be happier with how my look turned out! Highly recommend them for wedding hair!

A Glamour Affair is the absolute BEST! They are so accommodating for everyone's personal style and preferences. Myself and my entire bridal party looked flawless and hair & make-up was the one thing I was not worried about on wedding day!
I booked A Glamour Affair for my wedding (they did hair and makeup for myself, 9 bridesmaids, MOB and MIL) and their team was truly were the best start to my day. Kristin did my hair, Nisha did my makeup, and they brought two additional artists. For 12 hair/makeup looks, we started at 8am and finished by 11:30. Kristin helped put my veil in and showed my mom how to take it out later. They also filmed my first look with my bridesmaids, which I am so grateful for as my photographer was not there yet. Their team was so professional and friendly, and provided a calming, happy presence during what can sometimes be a stressful time. The final results were perfect. Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and they even re-did my MIL's hair when she wasn't happy with the first result. The reason I chose A Glamour Affair is because their incredible reviews on the Knot, and because their broad portfolio that showcases their talent. They can achieve truly natural looks (which is what my bridesmaids and I all wanted) or editorial looks if you want something more dramatic. My wedding was in July in Atlanta (the ceremony was inside and the reception was outside under a tent) so it was pretty hot and humid, and at the end of a night full of dancing and jumping around, my hair was still pinned how it started and makeup still in tact. Lastly, just want to call out how Nisha went above and beyond her makeup duties to help deal with my dog, who had snuck a full sandwich from a trash bag, and I couldn't get it out because I was getting my hair done. Nisha was free at the moment and ran to the rescue and yanked it from her mouth. She certainly saved our pet sitter from dealing with a sick puppy later on! <3 All to say, this team cares about their clients having the best day and I would 100% recommend them to anyone.
The glamour affair team is amazing for hair and makeup! I have worked with them for two weddings before my own, and they are always fun, supportive and do an amazing job making all the girls look beautiful. They gave me the exact look I was looking for on my wedding day. They are efficient and will keep your day moving on time. Highly recommend!
Nisha and Kristin were incredible! Beyond their exceptional skills as stylists and artists, they brought such a positive energy to my wedding day. Nisha was wonderful at making sure each person felt truly comfortable with their makeup, whether that was a glam or natural look. Kristin is a hair wizard, up-do's, curls, you name it and she will make sure your wedding hair dreams come true!
I was BLOWN away by Nisha and Kristen!! Me, all of my bridesmaids, and the moms felt so beautiful for my wedding day, and I cannot thank Nisha and Kristen enough. The whole team (shoutout to Dana!!) is super communicative leading up to the big day, and they were very flexible with me and the last minute changes that I requested. I could not have been more pleased with Glamour Affair’s help with my daughter’s wedding make up and hair. We opted to have a preview appointment prior to the wedding for mother-of-bride and bride which went very well. Then day of wedding Nisha did 5 of our ladies’make up and Kristen did 5 of our ladies’ hair. They are both so positive and easy going! You will enjoy them. We were all pleased with our final look, and they stayed to help with some final collar adjustments. I highly recommend A Glamour Affair.

Absolutely amazing!! I had to make multiple changes due to family emergencies throughout the planning process and they worked with me every step of the way. My husband and I got married at Hightower Falls and the stylists drove out to our location to help the bride squad and me get ready, which was a lifesaver! They were quick, nice, and styled our hair beautifully. I am terrible at doing my own hair and they made me feel magical! I will never be able to replicate the beauty that was my hair, but they will absolutely be able to make you and your party look amazing! Definitely recommend! They were amazing to work with and I’m so happy they were available to book on a Tuesday! (TTATT) I thought for sure we were doomed and they rescued us.
A Glamour Affair was recommended to me by a friend and they did not disappoint. They were super easy to work with from the start and made me feel truly beautiful at both my trial and my wedding day. My bridal party worked with Ashli and Jen on hair and Hannah K and Hannah B on makeup. The entire team was super friendly and made everyone look STUNNING. They went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was happy with their hair and makeup. We danced all night and everyone still looked so good at the end of the night. I would highly recommend them !
Writing reviews is time-consuming, but this is a must!... Nisha was our makeup artist for my son’s wedding. This was a gift from him to his bride, her bridesmaid, and five family members. I can’t believe I was hesitant when he first asked me if I wanted my makeup professionally done! (More often than not, I hardly wear any makeup). The first thing I noticed about Nisha is that she smiled the ENTIRE time she was doing my makeup. She genuinely enjoys what she does for a living, and she’s REALLY good at it! I so appreciated this generous gift from my son, for we all looked fabulous!

I cannot say enough great things about A Glamour Affair. I decided to move forward with this amazing team because they did such a nice job at two of my best friend’s weddings. I was a bridesmaid in both of these weddings and had a great experience. Kristen and Nisha are phenomenal. They listened to my concerns (I don’t wear a ton of makeup daily and didn’t want to go overboard & I have kinky, naturally curly hair that I did not want to frizz day of) and came up with a plan that worked great for me. I loved Nisha’s makeup trial so much that I used her for my engagement photos, engagement party, and rehearsal dinner looks. Kristen was amazingly patient with me and let me come in for multiple trials until we found the look that would work best for me and my hair. On the day of everything went smoothly. All my bridesmaids and my Mom loved their hair and makeup. I never felt rushed or stressed. I was blown away with how everything came together. My hair and makeup remained perfect all night. I got a ton of compliments. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a HMU team, and will definitely use them in the future for other events. I must also give Dana (Studio Manager) a shoutout - she is responsive, flexible, patient, and extremely helpful. Thank you all for making my day such a success!!
If I could give more stars I would! I want to thank A Glamour Affair for helping us out on such short notice. My husband and I were scheduled to get married in Fort Myers Beach on October 7, 2022 but our plans quickly changed after Hurricane Ian. Our guest count was pretty high and due to everyone taking time off of work, making travel accommodations, etc… we decided to plan an entirely new venue (and basically wedding) in our home area. All of our vendors were from Fort Myers so we had to scramble to find new ones in a matter of days. I reached out to A Glamour Affair and Dana was so quick to respond and very understanding and helpful. We were able to book Jen and Kelly who took their Friday away from their loved ones to help us out. We had a total of 5 bridesmaids, two mothers and a flower girl for hair and makeup. Due to such short notice on our ends we were not able to book a trial but Jen and Kelly exceeded ALL expectations for everyone of us girls. They made me feel the most beautiful and confident I have ever felt in my life. Not to mention their professionalism, attention to detail and wonderful time-management skills! 10/10 recommendation ❤️
My 5 bridesmaids and I had our hair and makeup done by Neesha and Kristin for my wedding. A few notes:
1. Our makeup looked good. I got what I asked for and it held up all day, through the GA heat, dancing, and some light rain. The trial was a must because I really refined what I wanted, but the end result was beautiful. My BMs all got makeup based on what they asked for and they all looked good.
2. I was very impressed with the hair. Kristin was creative and her styles held up through the night after through a lot of heavy dancing an some rain. Additionally, we all asked for styles based on random google images, and she was *really* able to replicate them to a T. We all looked amazing, the bridesmaids did not look like an afterthought at all, and some asked for moderately creative styles based on half-baked reference pictures. My BMs are also all over the spectrum in terms of hair type, and they all looked the way they wanted to. This is probably the most impressed I've ever been by a hair stylist.
3. We met and were styled at Neesha's townhome, which was clean and spacious. My husband saw the pictures and said "I didnt know you rented a fancy airbnb to get ready!' I was a little concerned upfront about not having a brick and mortar salon or studio, but this ended up being a great experience. My only note here: no coffee creamer with dairy! I'm sorry Neesha, the toasted marshmallow oat milk does not taste just like half and half! However, it wouldnt have been an issue if we brought our own coffee.
4. It took awhile. 1 makeup artist and 1 hair stylist for 6 people, and we took from about 8am to 12:45. It was fun and we werent bored or anything, but if there was a time crunch we would have been in trouble. It took slightly longer because I have a lot of hair, and 1 of my bridesmaids has hair past her butt.
5. You will get 10,000 complimentary bobby pins.
Overall a good experience, Neesha and Kristin are good at their jobs, so that was one less thing to stress about. Would recommend!

Nisha and Lauren were absolutely fantastic! They were so great to work with answering all my questions throughout! I had a trial and it was def worth it! When I came back they really listened to what I wanted and delivered!!!! We had to get ready at the store and not our venue which turned out sooo much better than I expected! We took over this one area and had our music going! I will be going back as we are taking more pics later at the venue! All my bridesmaids got their hair and makeup and even my mom! Everyone looked incredible!!! Highly recommend!!!!
I can’t speak highly enough of the Glamour Affair team. From beginning to end my experience was seamless. The team was very responsive and set me completely at ease. Nisha and Jordan arrived on time and finished exactly as scheduled on my wedding day. Nisha did makeup and Jordan did hair for me and my six bridesmaids. Not only was everyone pleased with their hair and makeup, Nisha and Jordan were just delightful. We laughed and shared stories and felt like we were at a girls slumber party all morning. Loved this team and would highly recommend.

The best! Nisha guided me through putting on my make up, she took the time to explain the process so I could do my make up daily or for an event, and she made it fun. My makeup looked amazing and I felt confident. I would recommend Nisha to anyone needing their make up done for an event or for anyone wanting to learn to do their makeup.
Top Notch! Not just a hair above! But well beyond! They were on time and fully up and running in no time and had us ready with time to spare! We had a large bridal party and were concerned that we didn't allow enough time for these ladies to work their magic. But let me tell you, every bridesmaid looked amazing and yes, they transformed me, the Mother of the Bride. I was wowed. No one was rushed through at all, Then the bride, my daughter whirled around in her chair and our breathe was taken away. Hair and Makeup was fabulous. We looked and stayed fresh all night long. Through all of the dancing my daughter's hair still looked almost perfect. It was like our Fairy Godmothers' showed up and poof we were transformed. I used A Glamour Affair for make up only, and they were all around wonderful! It was seamless and effortless to communicate with Dana at the office, and had an incredible experience with Nisha both at my trial run, and the day of the wedding.
Nisha listened to all of the notes/feedback I had from the trial run, and I was beyond thrilled with the results on my Wedding Day!! I really hate wearing makeup on my skin (I don't own foundation, concealer or powder) because of how it feels, but on the wedding day, I couldn't feel a thing. It felt weightless and looked stunning.
All of my bridesmaids were happy with how they looked. From a fellow aesthetician, to a friend with a horror story with a MUA from the past, every single bridesmaid LOVED the way they looked. I even had out of town girls saying they would hire her for their special events, because that's how much we loved her. =)
My wedding day experience was so easy thanks to the ladies at A Glamour Affair. I had some last minute changes and another vendor cancel on me and had to reach out for a last minute set of trials. These ladies worked so hard to get me in with less than 48 hours notice and then nailed my vision. They totally put my mind at ease and made me excited for the wedding day. Fast forward and both hair and makeup were fantastic. I got exactly what I was hoping for and my makeup tech Hannah even stayed late to clean up my makeup after some tears and sweat before the ceremony after the pictures. She really went the extra mile to make sure I looked my best and that I was comfortable. I can’t say enough about the quality of staff with this company. Thank you guys again !

Jordan and Nisha were great!! I booked them for my wedding and everyone choose a different hair style and Jordan perfected each one and double checked to make sure everything was ok and if any of us needed touch ups at the end! Nisha also asked what make up look we wanted and made sure we liked it at the end. All of my bridemaids as well as my mother and mother in law and I loved our make up!!! They are both sweet and very professional!

I can’t say enough about Glamour Affair! They just did the makeup and hair updo’s for my daughter’s wedding party consisting of 8. They were very prompt, organized and did a phenomenal job on everyone! Makeup was just beautiful, natural but glamorous. Both the hair and make up ladies were so kind and made everyone feel like we very special and beautiful. There was even a little family drama come up, but they were both so professional and just kept working to get us all finished. It was my wedding and at age 67 I wasn't expecting to look anything like I did on my wedding day. My hair and make up were perfect, and so was the rest of the party which included my 2 grown daughters in their 40's my niece who is 50, my granddaughter who was my maid of honor who at 22 was already a beauty. I FELT beautiful, I felt like a bride and I am so grateful to these 2 lovely ladies who represented this company so well!

Ashli and Kalea are amazing! My bridesmaids and I all got exactly what we wanted and it lasted all night. They are so good at what they do and so fun to spend time with. I'm so glad I booked them for my wedding!
My hair and makeup was FLAWLESS for my wedding! I wish Nisha and Ashley could just get me ready everyday. 😂 Through rain and sweating, it never moved. I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life and can’t thank them enough for exceeding my expectations with only a 2 week notice ♡
Nisha was awesome!! My bridesmaids, mom and I were SO happy with our makeup and had a great time getting ready together. With ever changing plans due to COVID, their team was quick to respond and the flexibility was greatly appreciated! We were ready with plenty time to get to the venue as planned. Our makeup looked beautiful in all of the pictures throughout the night and got compliments from guests. Everyone agreed we would love to use them again.

Nisha and Kristen were so much fun!! They make you feel comfortable right from the start. I can't tell you how many compliments I received on my hair. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair too! Nisha is a makeup magician. It's been a long time since I felt so glam and beautiful. All of my girls look amazing in their photos. Nisha and Kristen were punctual and very professional. I would hire them again for any other event I need my hair and makeup done for. Pretty sure one of the girls who was at the bridal house will book them for her upcoming wedding too! I would give Nisha and Kristin a million stars if I could. I have never in my life felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and it was all because the Nisha's and Kristin's magic. I don’t even know if there are enough words to express how absolutely wonderful Jordan and Nisha were to work with. I’ve had my hair and makeup done before and so had all of my friends. But we all agreed this was the best experience. It felt like we had our friends helping us get ready. I’ve never felt more beautiful and I so wish I could bring Nisha and Jordan everywhere with me. Kristin is not just a hair stylist, she is a miracle worker. My sisters and I all have different hair textures and styles, and she made EVERYONE look better than I could have imagined. At my trial, I wasn’t sure about the twist she had done, and instead of just pressuring me to accept it, she pulled it out and within minutes made a braid that was exactly what I wanted. I can’t overstate how elegant and romantic her work is. She is kind, professional, a hair artist more than anything. You are in good hands if you choose her.
I used A Glamour Affair for my wedding this past weekend and HOLY SMOKES I have never looked and felt so beautiful. Me and my entire bridal party all looked perfect. Our makeup and hair didn't even budge on the wild dance floor. These girls are the best and I would highly recommend them!
Choosing A Glamour Affair was the best decision I could make when it came to my hair and makeup for my wedding. Nisha and Kristen went above and beyond for me and my girls. They were fun and did amazing work! You would have thought they were your best friends by they way they treated us! We absolutely LOVED them and so happy with how everything turned out. Nisha and Kristin were wonderful! They came to our venue and provided hair and makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids, and my mother. They were able to create the exact looks we were all imagining. Hair and makeup lasted throughout the entire day and photographed beautifully. From my first contact, to my trial, to my big day, they were professional while fostering a fun and relaxing environment. I would recommend hiring them in a heartbeat!
Kristin and Nisha were the absolute BEST! I truly couldn't have asked for a better job done for my wedding for both my hair and make-up.
From the start, they were extremely responsive in their emails and answered all the questions I had as a type A person. I had 9 people get hair and/or make-up done by AGA for my wedding and everyone was VERY happy with the results and mentioned how pretty the H&M made them feel. This included both young (age 12) to older (age 83) ladies! Not only did they handle 9 people perfectly, they also stayed on time so we were able to leave to the venue as expected.
I should probably mention that as the bride, my hair and makeup still looked GREAT almost 10 hours later, even after a HURRICANE came through our wedding venue and I took tons of pics outside in the RAIN! I literally thought everything would run and look terrible but it didn't. I was amazed.
On top of the great job, the ladies are very personable and could literally talk to anyone. I have a special needs sister that got both hair and make-up and Kristin and Nisha both made her feel like one of the girls. It was truly the best morning getting ready with AGA!
The BEST of the BEST!! A Glamour Affair did Hair and Makeup for my sisters wedding in September. I was a bridesmaid and I have never felt so beautiful in all my life. My hair is super thick and naturally curly. I couldn’t believe the transformation when they were finished with me. I’ve never had my makeup done professionally and it was absolutely flawless. They listened to what we all wanted and exceeded our expectations. We all had SO many compliments from guests at the wedding. Our hair and makeup was still beautiful that evening at the reception. These ladies rocked it and they were so much fun to work with! I recommend them 100 percent!
These ladies were fantastic. They got my mom, my sister and me ready for my wedding. I had chosen a quite difficult hairstyle inspired to the 20s, very sculpted and specific. They were on time and exceeded our expectations with both hair and make up. They were awesome, Nisha was able to put makeup on my mom and make her look incredible. Ashley did my hair super quickly and perfectly. They were very affordable too!! Look no further for your event!

Kristin & Nisha are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I had a very large bridal party & my wedding was the week that COVID began causing businesses to shut down. With that being said, it was a stressful week praying that our large ceremony could go on. Dana, was very professional & responded quickly with me from day 1 of inquiring for my trial & wedding day.
My bridal party is very subtle, doesn’t wear everyday full glam makeup. They all wanted to look & FEEL their very best. NISHA & KRISTIN went ABOVE & BEYOND. All of my friends & family loved there fun, friendly personalities, too! Both of the artists were on time, professional & listened to each & everyone’s needs. They insured us that our looks would last all day & all night & let me tell you, i looked just as good when i woke up the morning after my wedding as i did before the ceremony. 3 of the bridesmaids & my grandmother called me to tell me they didn’t wash their faces the night before & wanted to go to breakfast they still looked so flawless. They use the most top of the line products & have certain formulas they have been using for YEARS. I couldn’t recommend them more! I have always struggled with acne & been very insecure about my face, Nisha used the best products on me for coverage but at the trial i told her about my insecurity with acne & she was able to help me with a new regimen to clear my skin. I felt the MOST glowing & beautiful & my husband had so much to say about my makeup (he’s not a makeup guy at all) it was FULL glam but also brought out my natural beauty! My eyes really popped more than they ever have! I have ALOT of hair & have 4 bags of mermaid extensions (the THICKEST). I told Kristin at my trial i was lost & had no idea what i wanted to do but i was going for a very elegant look & wanted to show off the length of my hair. She did just that & exceeded my expectations. The only way i can describe the look is volume, texture, length, flowy.. i will never forget the way it made me feel. I also purchased my hair comes the bride hair piece from her & it topped off the hairstyle & matched my long sleeve lace dress so perfect! If you are looking for an AMAZING team to work with on your big day, don’t think twice when booking a glamour affair! They are the best in the business by far! LOVE YALL SO MUCH!
I wanted to put this out there so nobody has to go through what I went through. I booked A Glamour Affair because I had many people recommend them to me. I booked them for my October wedding in March. They told me my makeup artist would be Nicole and I was excited because she had come highly recommended from quite a few people! I found her instagram and admired her work and I was so excited to work with her. In July I reached out to schedule my trial. I was then informed that Nicole would no longer be doing my makeup and I would be with the lead makeup artist whose wedding had been cancelled on my date. I responded back saying I would prefer to stay with Nicole as I had been admiring her for months! I then got a message from the co-owner Nisha asking if we could talk on the phone. It was then in July that I was told Nicole is no longer working with them. She said she couldn’t tell me why due to legal reasons but that was it. She then began asking me if I knew Nicole personally, which I don’t. And how I has seen her instagram, which was given to me from a friend, but a quick search on Facebook and I could have found it on my own. When I asked Nisha to see her work, she couldn’t present it. I agreed to go forward with the trial because I had always heard great things about them. The day of my trial I arrived at the location and I texted Nisha asking if I was in the right location because I was expecting a salon front and not a townhouse and her response to me was “Did you not receive the directions?? They are very detailed and specific...” the tone of the text kinda rubbed me the wrong way but I figured that was just through text. During my trial I felt very uneasy. Once it was over I absolutely hated my makeup. My makeup was caked and orange, with a awful makeup line. My eyebrows and eyeliner was extremely uneven. It was not what I had asked for what so ever. I had told her I wanted a natural bridal look. I received a glitter shadow that literally covered up to my eyebrow and made me look terrible. And Nisha told me that was natural as it got. When clearly it was not. All around it was just a bad makeup job. Everyone I saw and or showed said that was absolutely not worth the money and we needed to find someone else because it looked absolutely terrible. So I decided to reach out to Nicole myself since I had her instagram. Upon messaging her she responded to me saying she already had me down for my wedding! I was then like wtf because they told me she didn’t work there anymore. YALL THIS POOR GIRL HAD NO IDEA! She had no clue that she was no longer with them! At that point I was so done with them. Not only did the trial turn out awful, either they were lying to me or they were lying to her. I felt so bad that she had no clue and literally thought she was still booked through them for my wedding! She was just as shocked as I was when I told her that they had told me that she was no longer working with them! It’s honestly a shame that this is how they do business. I never would have thought that they would turn out to be so rude and unprofessional. Also when I went to cancel with them, I got crickets. I never received a response, an I’m sorry, a can I fix it? Nothing. The least they could have done is give me my money back that was securing my date since I will definitely not be needing it anymore. But I didn’t get a single response from them. Which just shows how unprofessional they really are!!

to see we are forced to give an explanation to. The other artist is a wonderful makeup artist and we were proud to have her as part of our team. However, it was brought to our attention that this artist was using our website (built personally by myself using only pictures of mine and Nisha’s work for graphics) to gain customers outside of A Glamour Affair. She was using our website in her email response to potential customers of HER OWN, not booking through A Glamour Affair. This is a form of plagiarism. I put a lot of time and effort into that website and I’m sure you could appreciate if you owned a business you would not want someone doing this to you. Most business owners would have fired her instantly, however she had already had a trial with a bride for an upcoming wedding. We thought it would be in the best interest of the bride to keep said artist on her wedding and not cause any drama for that particular bride because she was happy with her trial. Our ultimate goal is for our brides to be happy. We thought that because you hadn’t had a trial yet that you would be just as happy with Nisha, if not happier because all of the work you see on our Instagram is by Nisha unless stated otherwise and on our website the portfolio pictures have Nisha’s name on them also. She is one of the owners, my business partner and best friend and every award that has been won by our company for makeup is credited to her and her alone......NO ONE ELSE. We are voted Atlanta’s Top Ten Beauty Experts because of Nisha along with many other awards. You talk about us not fixing this for you, however there would be nothing to fix as we didn’t even charge you for your trial because your makeup artist was switched (even though you had never met or experienced her before). We would have paid you the same respect if you had already had a trial and waited as we did for the other bride before we made any known decision about your artist. You also mentioned not getting your money back. We did not collect a deposit from you and since we didn’t charge you for your trial I’m not sure what more we could do. You did however pay a non-refundable booking fee of $50 that is paid to hold your date and since we have been holding your date and had many email correspondences with you we did not offer this back. Our delay in a response to you is because we still have not spoken to this artist. However, the artist has been sending screen shots of you privately and personally messaging her wanting to know what is going on. You expressed on the day of your trial that you love your makeup and then later sent a very rude email saying that you didn’t, which we received in conjunction with the personal texts to our other artist that you are trying so hard to defend for some reason. We have really been very puzzled as to how you formed this relationship with the artist using our work as her own, especially because you have never met her. I have seen pictures of your trial and you looked gorgeous. Also, Nisha would NEVER put a glitter all the way up to the brow, which is clearly shown in the picture of your trial showing that fact. I wish I could post the picture here to prove that. I do not like posting dramatic private things, especially when an individual has made a mistake in life and I was hoping this artist could be privately addressed and hopefully learn from this and treat people better in the future, especially people who provide work for her. You have taken away our ability to keep this private which really upsets me, but your review had to be addressed. I hope that maybe you can understand what we were dealing with and our fear of this artist getting mad and backing out on the wedding she was scheduled for to which she had already performed a trial. We always always look out for our brides first and foremost. Nisha is one of the kindest hard working people I know and she is an AMAZING makeup artist! I feel that you would have felt the same had you not been privately in contact with our other makeup artist.
I wish you the best on your wedding day and we will gladly refund you your $50 booking fee that has been reserving your date for months now.

Coming from someone who has been a bridesmaid in several weddings, you can really see a difference when you use professionals. A Glamour Affair is the best out there!
My hair and makeup person ended up not working out about two weeks before my wedding, so when I contacted A Glamour Affair to see if they were available on such short notice, they were! and I was so blessed that they were. They were SO easy to work with and made no qualms about me booking so late. When it came to the actual wedding day, I absolutely LOVED my makeup and hair ladies and the work they did. Both ladies had such good personalities, we’re so helpful and made everyone look so beautiful. It was worth every penny booking with them. They were so professional, reliable and did such a great job. I am actually so blessed the other person didn’t work out because if they hadn’t I wouldn’t have had the great experience I did with A Glamour Affair!

A Glamour Affair did a great job with my hair and makeup for my wedding. Very responsive, easy to work with, friendly, and flexible with my changes. Hair looked even better on the day of than at the trial! Ashli totally nailed it. The only reason I give this 4 out of 5 stars is because my eye makeup day of did not quite look the same as at my trial. It seemed less blended and the shading was slightly different. It still looked beautiful, but wasn’t quite the look I wanted. Also, immediately following first looks my lower lash line was bleeding from all the crying - so it wasn’t as water proof as I had hoped. A touch up kit would have been nice for the price range they ask.
