all were very surprised with the negative review. They all said that you and your guests seemed extremely happy with the services and on the day of; you even had conversation with the Day-of Coordinator about how excited you were for your honeymoon you were going on the next day. We truly value couples but we know this day is also special to our couples’ families as well. I would like to address the main concern regarding the door the wedding party walked through for the ceremony. The reason for the door change was due to guests moving furniture to allow more room for the dance floor for later that evening. We don’t like to overstep our boundaries, and since we were informed setup and décor was going to be taken in previous planning meetings our Coordinator did not want to overstep and move the table. The door the wedding party ended up walking through was more than sufficient and no more than a yard away from the original door you practiced out of. There was also a comment in the review made about having all of the setup done on the day of the rehearsal. You did express you were having your family do all of the set-up and you may just have a few welcome signs for our Coordinator to set-up. However, that was not the case. The Mother of the Bride brought in a large amount of items to set-up on the tables, which the tables were not completely set-up like stated at the rehearsal. Our Coordinator did help the Mother of the Bride with unpacking and setting up those items. The Mother of the Bride was also very grateful and very nice to our Coordinator and appreciated all of her help. Since we were not provided with a layout or floor plan, our Coordinator was unsure how to incorporate the décor items that were brought in. After speaking with the Photographer, I was informed that she did not help with any Coordinator duties. She expressed how fabulous and sweet our Day of Coordinator was. Many couples do value our services as we do like to go over and beyond for our couples. However, we do offer other services which give more support. Maybe one of your bigger packages would have been a better fit for you. We wish you the best as you start your new lives together.

possible. Unfortunately, we can't always guarantee to make magic when we were not set-up for success. However we went above and beyond with what we had to work with. I have never worked with such a chaotic atmosphere. From the moment my assist and I arrived (which was two Coordinators myself and my assistant NOT THREE as Carolyn stated, she only hired two of us) at the venue at 1:25pm which we did stay the entire 8 hours (although my contract states up to 8 hours) with no breaks whatsoever to make sure everything was flowing smoothly, which Carolyn did send me an email me directly admitting and stating “I recognize you have wedding experience and did help keep us on schedule”. She asked a friend to do the final check off with the venue at the end of night, which the friend told us we weren’t needed for that. Carolyn insured me everything would be organized and ready to go, which it wasn’t. I sent Carolyn a reminder list the week of the wedding with the items she is reminded to bring in for set-up. I do ask on that list to please make sure everything is unwrapped/unpackaged without stickers or price tags and ready to be put out. There were still items packaged, and price tags still stuck on her items, which slows down the set-up process. Everything was DIY so there were boxes and boxes of decor that was all over the place. She also insured me the set-up staff that she hired of two, would come a bit early to get started setting up the tables and chairs. That did not happen, they actually came after my assistant and I arrived, which in-turn delayed my assistant and I with setting up. They had no clue how to set-up the tables and chairs and said Carolyn didn’t send them a layout (which the layout was incorrect and was flopped around which added more time to set-up). My assistant and I ended up assisting with setting up tables and chairs which we are not contracted to do. The two set-up staff members she hired were so stressed with everything they had to set-up and were running out of time. I had expressed my concerns with Carolyn in advance that two hours was not enough time to set-up tables, chairs, and decor because guests normally arrives at least 30 mins before the wedding (which her guests started arriving an hour before the wedding (which she told me she was surprised of that). She told me she tried to get extra time with the venue, but couldn't and said she would have some family and friends to help, we all worked very well together to get things done. That was my #1 mission to get the job done. I thought that is why you hire Coordinator, to direct and get things done. I looked at the clock and we finished set-up by 3:10pm the ceremony start time was at 3:30pm and we only started 7 mins late at 3:37pm the wedding party was walking down the aisle. I think that is awesome considering what we had to work with. Everyone I worked with gave both myself and assistant raves of how great we were getting things done and how we handled the set-up so well. We even received raving reviews from the venue staff of how well we took care of the day. I didn't hear any complaints from the family except for when the food ran out, due to the poor communication Carolyn had with the food truck. If it wasn't for me the guests would have not had any other appetizers to eat and the dinner would have been an hour late. The food truck staff said they Bride told them the dinner wasn't suppose to be available until 6:00pm when we had it planned for 5:00pm. Because of me they were able to make dinner happen by 5:15pm. My common practice is to send the Day-of timeline (schedule) to all family/wedding party members involved, Carolyn did not want me to do this, which I feel could have caused confusion and frustration. I asked Carolyn multiple times, both in writing and during our final details meeting zoom call for copies of her contracts with vendors, I asked this so if any issues comes up on the wedding day I can know what the couple has contracted. I never received any contract, therefore I was not able to have anything to fall back on with the catering issues, which in turn I handled the situation the best I could. I have worked hundreds of weddings and never encountered such an atmosphere of chaos from the time I stepped in the venue. I have to say I am pleased with the service we provided with the situation we were in. Carolyn "thanked "me at least two times that night which one of the times she thanked me my assistant was standing right next to me. She also told me she was having a fun time. I am not sure how things changed and receiving a review 7 days after the wedding doesn't add up to me. She also stated in her email she sent directly to me “Please don’t respond with any “well you messed up” I heard enough”. This is why I did not respond back to her email, so now she’s stating that I had no comments or interest in reparations? Very strange. However, we wish her and Greg the best.

I also offered her to keep her deposit on the books and she could use it towards any other event/celebration later on, which states in our contract. I have went over and beyond for this bride with chatting with her in detail about her wedding and put together an entire timeline right after she signed contract, which normally we don’t create until 1 month before the wedding for clients, which means I did already provide services to her. I understand this is a frustrating time right now for everyone, however we did try to accommodate her in the best way possible.
