nation is the most challenging of all bridal services due to the changes and variables that will happen that cannot be planned for; like a balled veil in a shopping bag minutes before the ceremony. A thoughtful planner will have a steamer handy, as well as someone available to iron things out when mistakes are made. AQTE was hired as a Day of Coordinator. However, also attended a food tasting and two (2) dress fittings with bride and seamstress to ensure there was at least one person who understood how to bustle the bride’s train on both dresses. There are a few issues that need to be address in the review: 1. Emails were used to communicate with vendors who would be working directly with AQTE at least 30 days in advance; a timeline was sent once logistics were hashed out. An updated timeline was sent out again to the wedding party and vendors on 12/8. 2. The chairs were set up with a last minute (Day Of) design change. AQTE personally did not ask a groomsman to assist, but was told by another vendor the groomsman was there to assist. 3. AQTE has a policy to not to handle any alcohol unless there is an urgent need. The leftover alcohol was taken home by a family member. 4. The DJ did have the correct timeline and was embarrassed by HIS mistake and apologized on more than one occasion for the mistake. 5. As per Day-Of agreement it is highly encouraged for clients to discuss the items being rented from outside vendors and the vendor’s pickup/delivery options. If those options are not utilized it will be up to the client to pickup and return any rental items unless otherwise stated in the contract. 6. AQTE staff did stay behind until the last vendor returned for pickup and ensured the venue was left the way it was received for use. 7. Each favor was personally handed to each guest. Leftover favors went home with guests as well. 8. AQTE did not ask the bridesmaids to cleanup, they did however collect the items left behind by the bride to be brought to her the following day. AQTE did reach out the following afternoon to ensure the day was what was expected. It was not stated then that expectations were not fulfilled. Below is an assessment from the future bride-to-be. “I felt even more confident having you as our coordinator than I did after our initial meeting, because seeing all the stress that is put on you, and all of the responsibility that is weighed on your shoulders, I KNOW that none of my bridesmaids, my mother or mother in law, or myself could handle that on my wedding day.
