Sarah was our wedding coordinator and we hired her for the month of planning package. She was incredibly helpful in the planning process, helping with decor suggestions and vendor suggestions months before the wedding. She was always great with communication in emails or in scheduled meetings. She did a great job leading up to the wedding communicating with vendors which took a lot of stress off from us. She did a great job at the rehearsal and setting up the decor for our ceremony and reception. On the day of the wedding she and her team went above and beyond helping with set up and tear down, making sure everything ran on schedule and at the end of the night bringing everything home which she dropped off to us the following day. A Touch of Grace was a great company to work with and made our wedding a lot less stressful. We highly recommend them and their services!!
There aren't enough words to describe how truly incredible Cinthy is. Throughout our wedding planning process Cinthy was always there to lend advice, come up with ideas/solutions, keep us organized/on track, provide vendor recommendations, was in constant communication with myself and our vendors etc. She is organized, talented, sharp, witty, hands on and just amazing all around. She helped make this process as easy and painless on me as possible and she rolled with my desire to keep things less formal/traditional aka my "i don't really care about any of this attitude" ;). Cinthy is dependable/reliable and I could not have gotten through my wedding planning or my wedding day without her. We reached out to A Touch of Grace for our June wedding in San Francisco. We were lucky enough to meet and chat with Sarah. From the beginning, Sarah had more energy, excitement, and experience from any of the other coordinators that we had talked to. During our initial meeting she asked insightful questions that we had not thought of and it was very easy to get a feel for what working with her would be like. We ended up working with Sarah as both a month of and day of coordinator and we could not have been more lucky/grateful. She was hands down our favorite vendor during our wedding. We had a wedding across 2 locations in San Francisco, so there was more logistical legwork involved than a normal wedding, but Sarah was on top of all of it the month leading up to the wedding. She was very easy to collaborate with and we shared everything in Google Drive; she was also available to take calls when we needed and proactively reached out to us if something came up. She helped coordinate communication with vendors, distributors, and the onsite contacts for each vendor. On the day she was amazing! She and her assistants helped paper over any issues that arose, while seamlessly blending into the background. Sarah and A Touch of Grace were fantastic to work with and I can't recommend them enough.
We decided to get married with about 6 months of lead time (!). Cinthy jumped right in with vendor suggestions, timelines, and logistical help. We really appreciated her responsiveness, competence, and humor. She was also amazing the day of the wedding with all the set up, tear down, and keeping everything moving smoothly. Very glad we chose to work with her!
My mom and I found A Touch of Grace through a google search and it was one of a few companies we had a call with when deciding to plan my destination wedding in Mill Valley, CA. We absolutely adored Sarah's energy and commitment to making this wedding a reality and helping us do it from so far away (we are in South Florida). Over 9 or so months Sarah held our hands through the process and had weekly zooms with us. She helped to set up everything from venue selection, hotel, restaurants, activities, vendors - and was super helpful in handling a few of the issues we ran into with those vendors. She allowed us to ship items to her home, including everything for our hotel welcome bags for our guests and put them together for us and got them to the hotel before we arrived! Once in Mill Valley she was AMAZING, present, always smiling and had incredible energy - she didn't leave our sides! The first day she took us to each spot we had booked through her so we could see them in person for the first time, was by our sides every single day for each event. On the fly she was in action booking last minute massages and Muir Woods tickets for us! She was at each restaurant ahead of time to set up our beautiful tables and stayed throughout to make sure we were well taken care of and had anything we needed. She and her amazing husband set up the most incredible beach day for us and despite having some questionable weather which was out of everyone's control, they made the day so special for us! On the day of the wedding, again, Sarah was present for its entirety and made the whole day go off without a hitch (even handling a nightmare situation with the cake so well the groom and I had no idea until after the fact there was an issue!). She was constantly checking on me as the bride and made me feel so special and truly became one of the family by the end of the long weekend! She made these Floridians feel right at home in California. After the weekend came to and end she made sure anything we left was shipped back to us quickly and even gifted us shipping our Ketubah to us (which she also took care of mounting before we arrived for the ceremony.) I literally could go on and on but to say my husband, family and I were more then pleased with Sarah would be a serious understatement. She made what could have been a super stressful destination wedding go smoothly and fun! Thank you Sarah!

Cinthy was a tremendous help - she helped us pull off two rather complicated, back-to-back, outdoor ceremonies with shuttles between the hotel and the venue. She made it look so effortless to do all the transition planning, rehearsal and had very thoughtful suggestions for small details. Cinthy also pulled in her assistant and was quick to put out fires on the wedding day itself.
Truly, I don't know what we would have done without Cinthy. She filled every gap that we missed during our planning process, going above and beyond what we initially asked of her and did so with gusto. It's hard to overstate how valuable Cinthy was as a reviewer of contracts, as an experienced collaborator who could push back on our ideas and offer alternatives, and an all-around executor who just rolls her up sleeves to get things done - get the ice, uncork the wine, tip the other vendors.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Cinthy and though we don't plan to get married again, if we had to, we would hire Cinthy in a heartbeat.

At the start of our wedding planning process we actually had a different wedding planner with a different company that wasn’t working out.
When we were looking for another planner it was important for us to having someone who had great communication, organization, punctuality, and was accommodating as we were planning the wedding from out of state. When we met with Sarah over the phone it was evident that that’s exactly what she was! We saw all those qualities come to life throughout the planning process that exceed our expectations. We got married in Livermore at Wente vineyards where she also had a lot of experience which was fantastic.

Sarah was an absolute wonder to work with! She went above and beyond in so many ways, while respecting our vision and expectations for our big day. She was prompt, responsive, and hard working. She was so easy to talk to that it often felt like we were talking to a good friend for duration of the process. She has a great network of resources for wedding-day services and put out every little fire that came up to make sure we had as little stress as possible.

Although she worked most directly with my daughter, Sarah, I always had an ear or eye to what was going on, and I can assure you, from the very outset we said to ourselves, "this is money very well spent!" She immediately demonstrated her competence, instilled us with confidence, and took the load off of our shoulders. Those last few weeks, as the wedding date gets close, were filled with anxious thoughts about a million little things, both relevant and irrelevant. Sarah actually anticipated many issues that we hadn't even thought of and eased our mind on those that we had thought of. I had the pleasure of working with Cinthy Walsh on a large wedding a couple weeks ago. (I was the florist.) She was fantastic! She took care of everything flawlessly with calm and grace. Her behind the scenes work and attention to detail made it look like everything just magically fell in to place.
We absolutely LOVED working with Cinthy. Our wedding day went so smoothly and would not have been possible without her. She is highly organized and really cared about making our day perfect. Something else we appreciated was her attention to detail with all of our vendors. She made sure we got what we paid for from all of our vendors and really held them accountable - lifesaver!

The one thing I would have changed about the wedding was her! I planned all of it! She is good at bossing people around. Very rude!!! She comes off nice and last week she will say “do you really need that?” she wants you to hire everyone to do work for her she started throwing a fit when asked to set up a shade tent. My whole wedding party commented on how “not very nice” she was. She was extremely undressed one person said her shirt was see though. Not good with kids. I took over when I hear the way she spoke to them. She also got my first post taken down and I didn’t notice because I had to contest it within 7 days and I was in honeymoon. Who knows how many others she has taken down.
In summary, Cinthy was our saving grace during the wedding planning process and I would recommend her over and over again.
Our wedding was originally planned for March 27, 2020. Just 12 days out from our wedding is when everything shut down for COVID. At the time, we rescheduled the wedding for later that summer in 2020 and Cinthy was amazing at contacting all of our vendors and getting everyone aligned with the new date. As we neared our new date, we realized there was no way we were going to be able to have the wedding as we wanted it due to COVID. Long story short, Cinthy ended up helping us move our date and reschedule everyone not once or twice but three times! She helped us so much and took off so much stress from us as we all navigated the unknown.
She was so on top of everything and was able to pivot at times at the last minute and worked so hard to give us everything we wanted for our special day- and also helped us stay on budget!
The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and it was all thanks to Cinthy's hard work during the past couple of years. We had a lot of hiccups along the way (up to us finding out new venue restrictions two months out from out wedding) and she was on top of it and always found solutions.
I can't imagine ever planning a wedding without a coordinator and am so happy Cinthy was ours.
I highly highly recommend Cinthy and her team! We booked A Touch of Grace for month-of coordination, but for the whole 2 year wedding planning process (due to a COVID postponement...) she helped us with vendor recommendations and advice via email. Her check-in emails full of questions were the only thing keeping us moving along in our wedding planning for a while there!
A couple months before the wedding she helped us confirm everything with our many vendors, and she made a list of items we were bringing, photo list, created our timeline, made layouts for everything (dining area, ceremony, photobooth, DJ cocktail and bar area) that we could share with the vendors. She brought some lovely items like welcome signs, a beautiful glass card box, and a lovely frame where we pinned all of our escort cards with the seating arrangements. In the week before the wedding we didn't feel like we had to worry about anything because Cinthy was so organized. She also did a walk-through of the venue with us a month before which was really helpful in visualizing where everything would go and what we needed.
The day of the wedding she and her assistant Selenie seriously put some work in. Cinthy picked up lunch for the ladies while we were getting ready and ensured that everything was set up and lined us up to go down the aisle. I'll never forget Selenie rubbing sunblock on my arms just before I walked down the aisle as it was a very sunny day! And when I realized I forgot my veil just before walking down the aisle she sprinted back to grab it for me!
They made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the night, brought our cards and gifts back to our hotel room, packed our car with all our stuff, and did the walk-through with the venue to ensure everything was good to go. They truly went above and beyond in helping with whatever we were struggling with. I think the coordinator is one of those vendors that makes the biggest difference in stress levels leading up to and on the day of the wedding, and with such a huge production of a wedding this investment was definitely worth it and I definitely recommend them.
Malia was incredibly helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. She kept us on track with a detailed month by month timeline, she provided excellent vendor recommendations, and always got back to us quickly if we had questions. She was an invaluable resource the week of the wedding managing multiple vendors, ensuring everything was set up properly, handling any issues that arose, and keeping us on a tight schedule. I highly recommend Malia and her team! We were extremely satisfied with the service they provided to us.
Cinthy and her team were incredibly helpful for planning our wedding. We hired A Touch of Grace for the final wrap up planning and coordination (about 8 weeks). However, she provided recommendations throughout the whole process when we wanted suggestions for other vendors. We enjoyed working with her through the whole process. She attended our venue walk-through, ceremony rehearsal, and the entire wedding day (plus an assistant). We are so grateful we hired her to take care of all the final details and make sure that the day went smoothly!

When I first started planning my wedding I was skeptical about even hiring a planner/coordinator at all thinking I could handle it all myself with just help from my family and friends. It didn't take long until I was completely overwhelmed, in over my head, stressed and feeling like I was going about everything all wrong. After looking into some options for planners I was referred to Cinthy by a friend who couldn't stop raving about how amazing she was. I did saw Cinthy at my friend's wedding and I couldn't stop telling my fiance how smooth and fun everything went that day... Let me start this off by saying I am a perfectionist who stresses over every single detail. Malia was a God send!!!!!!!
A Touch of Grace (ATOG) was recommended by our venue and caterer. We were 6 weeks out from our wedding and selected their Wrap Up & Day of Coordination package. Malia was our coordinator and I cannot say enough about her. She was such a gift throughout this process. Like many Fall 2021 couples, our wedding had been postponed multiple times so we were working with established vendors and finding new ones. Our DJ and videog. from our initial planning were not available for our new date so Malia helped us find and lock them down. She vetted the vendors for our need, personal style preference and budget. She provided a curated list and we were able to meet with each and make our selection. We were nervous still looking for vendors so close to the day of, but Malia made it such a breeze. On top of helping us lock down final vendors, she took over communication with all of the vendors - collected their meal selections, set up an organized doc for when payments were due to each, and had checklists for everything we needed to provide each and by when. When issues came up such as our caterer not starting our rental order until 2 weeks before our wedding – our rental vendor was not sure if they’d be able to provide lighting. We moved everything outdoors for COVID and needed to have lighting or we could not have our wedding. Malia jumped in, took the reins and found back up lighting vendors just incase. It’s also worth mentioning that several weeks before, Malia offered to take over the rental from the caterers plate because she knew they were swamped and may not get to it. Malia had a back-up plan for everything. Anything that brought us stress, she was right there and ready to solve any problem. She also proactively solved problems before they became problems.
I am a perfectionist who has a very hard time letting go but Malia was so on top of everything that it was easy for me to let go and focus on other areas like dress, vows, fam, etc.
We met weekly leading up to the wedding and then multiple times a week in the last 2 weeks. For each meeting she had a set agenda of details we needed to tackle and decisions that needed to be made either then or before the next meeting. She kept us on schedule so that there was little to no stress throughout the entire process. When anything did come up big or small, like an added fee on an invoice that I was not expecting or a vendor who wasn’t wearing a mask, Malia jumped right in. The day of our wedding we realized we did not have a big enough funnel for our sand ceremony or the correct size of individual jars to pour into the big jar. Malia kept the wedding on schedule, checked in with us, took care of our parents & our dog, made sure everyone got home safely and even recorded our last dance since both photography and videography were gone by then and SO much more. While some vendors over promise and under deliver, ATOG sets a gold standard and meets it. Malia is an incredible wedding coordinator and human being. ATOG was the best decision we made throughout this entire process and the best money spent. For the day of, Savannah was Malia’s assistant and was also absolutely wonderful. Did an amazing job helping a beautiful couple plan their wedding! First the couple was in California and the grooms home state was Minnesota! I cannot say enough good things about Cinthy from ATOG. My fiancé and I got engaged in February 2020 and we were unsure about needing a wedding planner since our venue had a coordinator. Cinthy is fantastic!! I purchased the “Wrap Up Service Package” where coordinating services are said to start two months prior to the wedding. Although I only paid for two months of services, Cinthy gave consistent support and guidance two years prior to our wedding! She met with my fiance and I early on to cover some basics, then continued a running Google doc to ask and answer questions. This was so helpful for my fiance and I to be in an ongoing conversation with her. She really kept us on track, in terms of timelines and details. Planning (and replanning) a wedding during COVID was not easy. I am so thankful to Cinthy for her calm presence, problem solving strategies, and encouragement through every hurdle. I had vendors cancel, a change of venue, wedding party members drop out, etc. Cinthy kept me calm and helped me keep excitement for our wedding. When COVID restrictions changed our wedding vision, Cinthy helped me work with vendors who were being difficult, she reviewed all of my contracts, and she helped brainstorm solutions. Cinthy is very well-connected within the wedding industry and was quick to reach out to various contacts to help me replace vendors. She was very supportive and flexible during all of the changes. When Malia gave us a call on that first day she dazzled us and continued to be an absolute pleasure to work with! We have had to move our wedding several times due to Covid-19 and Cinthy has been just wonderful to work with as we navigate the continued uncertainty of planning a wedding. Cinthy was a great coordinator and really helped us bring all the logistics together. She was invaluable in last two weeks before our wedding and stepped up in big ways on the actual weekend to get whatever needed to be done DONE. In the months before the wedding we corresponded mostly over email, which could be scattered at times but worked fairly well. She went with us to choose our rentals and was very helpful during that process with opinions, context, and things she knew about our venue because she had worked there before. She was also helpful at the venue walk through with the caterer. As we got closer to the wedding she really turned it on, managing many different active email threads and staying on top of all the varied requests from us and our vendors. She provided us a ‘to bring’ list that was very helpful for the wedding weekend and she even had some items we were able to borrow from her so we didn’t’ have to spend money on them. She started working directly with our vendors in the final weeks and coordinating with them, which took a lot of the admin work off us. On the wedding weekend, she was there early and the last to leave through the whole weekend. Her attitude was consistently that she would get things done and handled random needs as they occurred, like getting more simple syrup when the bar started running low or sending one of her helpers to pick up our late night pizza from a nearby Round Table. She also came back early Sunday morning and helped to set up brunch. After the wedding, while we were abroad on our honeymoon, she dealt with our rentals vendor who incorrectly charged us for missing items and showed up in person to the venue to doublecheck that items hadn’t been left (they hadn’t). She fought the battle, got the incorrect charge taken off the bill, and then sent us an email to let us know it was handled. Overall she was so pleasant and helpful to work with and we REALLY appreciated everything she did – we would highly recommend Cinthy and A Touch of Grace!
A Touch of Grace was spectacular! Cinthy was amazing throughout the planning process. She was extremely organized and took a handle on all aspects of the wedding. She handle all communication with the vendors and helped to keep us organized with deadlines and all the little details. On the day of the wedding I wouldn’t want anyone else to be by my side to help make the day go as planned. Cinthy and her team were extremely organized, stuck to our timeline as much as possible, and kept me calm and under control. :) I worried about nothing or if I did Cinthy was always there to reassure me that everything was okay and it truly was. Her and her team worked above and beyond even driving us and our family back to hotel when there weren’t enough seats on the bus. :) Seriously can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was with A Touch of Grace. Cinthy and her team were awesome!! I hired Cinthy as a month of wedding planner, but she was easy to get ahold of and responsive via email for more than just the month before the wedding, and was incredibly approachable and professional. Since I was planning the wedding long distance, this was incredibly helpful. She helped keep me on track during the planning process, answered any questions I had, and really helped relieve a lot of the last minute stressors. We worked with Cinthy as our planner and she was absolutely fantastic! We hired ATOG about 7 months prior to our wedding for full wedding planning. Cinthy kept a detailed timeline of all of our milestones and helped us with sourcing all vendors and in the price ranges that we were comfortable with. She was really helpful in helping with all the big items, and kept us on top of all the small wedding details (that we tend to forget) as we got closer to the wedding. She coordinated with the vendors, managing all the details with our venue and caterers, etc and had a super detailed schedule that outlined every part of our wedding so that everything could be executed smoothly. Working with Cinthy/ A Touch of Grace was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Marin County this summer. She went above and beyond her 2 months out coordination duties and helped make sure important items were planned well in advance and chased vendors that were not as responsive as Cinthy. We worked with Cinthy for over a year. My wife and I were not familiar with wedding planning and leaned on Cinthy to help us navigate the wedding planning space. Her familiarity with the vendors and venue we booked was a great asset. Most of all, we wanted to hire someone with project management skills and Cinthy was prudent in keeping up with key dates and milestones to make sure we stuck to our timeline. Our Indian wedding spanned 3 consecutive days which was no easy task to plan. Cinthy not only made sure that my wife and i were well taken care of during this time but the value she brought for the price was a bargain to say the least. She worked with me, my husband, and both of our mothers to plan a 3- day fusion Indian and American wedding. Her hard work and compassion continued through the 1.5 year planning process. A couple months before my wedding, I decided to hire a day of coordinator to help run things at the venue. I am planner and have a type A personality, so the thought of giving someone else control over my special day that I had worked for a year to plan was frightening. I contacted A Touch of Grace and had a phone meeting with Amanda Tonkin for the Wrap Up Service. Just speaking with her for the initial call set aside many of my worries. She was easy to talk to, informative, professional, and sounded like she knew her stuff. I had spoken to a couple other coordinators prior to her and none of them compared. Not once did she make me feel like I didn't know anything or force any decisions on me.
In the time before the wedding, I met with Amanda in person a couple of times and talked on the phone a couple of times. She was great at looking at all of my plans and adding in her recommendations for things I didn't think of (aka extension cords?!). I was also able to meet up with her and drop of some decorations that she drove to the venue and set up for me.
I truly cannot thank Amanda and her team enough for the wonderful job they did on my wedding day. I had a lot of DIY items, but the team was able to look at the pictures I sent and set up a fabulous head table, back drop, and set up everything else I had made. Not only did they set up, during the dancing time the team also broke everything down. By the time the wedding ended, most of our stuff had been boxed and set aside, ready to be taken away.
I had a lot scheduled for my wedding day and Amanda really helped make sure everything went smoothly. The family portraits after the ceremony were quick (I also told family members that if they missed their call, they missed the picture...), the intros and dances went smoothly, and I got all of my table photos done in under an hour. Amanda's team got each table ready for their pictures before we even got to the table, so we did 25 tables in about 45 minutes! Amanda was also good at making sure we were able to eat during our allotted time. She had to start turning people who approached our table around because I kept talking and not eating.

We are so thankful to A Touch of Grace for connecting us with Amanda! We were looking for a partial wedding coordinator who could also help us bring to life our ideas for decor. Amanda was the perfect fit. We hired her for the three month coordination services and added on her design option. We wanted a Disney inspired wedding, something that had hints of Disney without being overwhelming or cheesy. Amanda is a fellow Disney lover so she was a perfect fit for us. She took what I imagined in my head and made it even better and then made it into a reality. She also helped us with finding other vendors and was always there for us whenever we had questions about anything. The day of the wedding there were very minimal hiccups and the things that did “go wrong” were taken care of immediately thanks to Amanda and her team. I couldn’t have imagine doing this whole process without her she kept me sane and from becoming a bridezilla (I hope). So glad that she was the person to help us throughout our entire process!

She helped with all aspects of our special day: lighting, table linens, timelines, layout, vendor management; anything and everything you can think of.
Come the day of our wedding, May 12, Amanda was everything I hoped for and more. She was exceptionally organized, always attentive and aware of situations, any hiccups that occurred, Amanda was there ready to alleviate and take care of. One example was my pastor arriving several minutes late to the ceremony, nowhere to be found; however, Amanda became a calming force in a stressful situation, assuring us she was in contact with him, that he was on his way and actively managing the schedule, adapting to the late start confidently and efficiently. This was because she had the experience and foresight to have planned for buffer time throughout the schedule, anticipating possible delays. Luckily my pastor arrived sooner than later, and the procession began smoothly.
Once the event started, Amanda and her team made sure my husband and I would have a drink or something to eat whenever we had a break. She was also able to give us private time to preview our reception space, something I wanted us to have. I mean, after all that planning wouldn't you want to take a moment aside to see and appreciate all of your dreams and hard work first?
I could not imagine a more perfect wedding for my husband and I, and we owe it all to Amanda. She holds a special place in our hearts, and I can honestly call her a good friend after going through this process with her. She was amazing through and through. If you go with A Touch of Grace, Amanda is your girl, trust me you won't regret it!
Amanda was absolutely fantastic! I am a total control freak and I am very detail oriented so handing the reins over to someone else to plan and direct our big day was a huge deal for me. Amanda was always ahead of my game and thought of every detail and then some! She has a fantastic crew of helpers for day-of logistics and setup. Amanda also handled our extremely rowdy groomsmen party with grace and ensured they had all their marbles together during rehearsal (which was some sort of miracle with these fellas). She was extremely friendly and very communicative throughout our time together and we are so thankful for everything she did for us! We wouldn’t have made it through flawlessly without her! She was easily the best investment for our wedding!

My mother and I had a wonderful experience working with Cinthy Walsh while planning my Napa Valley wedding from across the country (DC and CT). She kept us on track with a few manageable tasks each week during a process that can often seem overwhelming. She also has a network of wonderful vendors whom we leveraged to create our special day. Throughout the planning process I shipped numerous items to her which she received and brought to our venue the day of, which relieved quite a bit of stress. Where to even start- I guess first, if you are reading this and planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and hire Cinthy. Wedding planning for my husband and I was an interesting one, as we had an original venue booked that sold the property and had to rearrange everything in six months. The best decision we made was working with Cinthy. We selected the wrap up package, but Cinthy went so above and beyond what the package calls for. From the moment we started working together, Cinthy was prompt to answer emails, professional, and helpful. She provided excellent vendor recommendations and was always on top of every detail. My favorite thing about Cinthy, is that she always has her couple's backs and she will do her best to make sure your voice is heard to everyone in the planning process. Our wedding was amazing this past weekend and we feel so lucky to have been able to work with Cinthy.
This review is long overdue. I worked with Cinthy, one of the wedding coordinators for well over a year. I knew I would need help planning a large wedding from far away. I interviewed several coordinators, but ultimately went with A Touch of Grace because of Cinthy's no nonsense attitude and professionalism. Cinthy is excellent with communication and very quick with responses. She kept me on top of the wedding planning timeline, is super detailed, and would check-in with me when I would go missing aka avoiding wedding planning. She broke down the to-do list into manageable portions so I wouldn't get overwhelmed and offered excellent vendor recommendations for DJ and cake, which is hard because my husband and I don't like sweet desserts and we wanted special flavors. She offered her honest opinions on things and let me know where we could cut down on expenses, which I really appreciated. Best of all, she dealt with all the nitty gritty stuff I didn't want to deal. Cinthy and the ATOG team helped execute our very long (5AM to midnight) and complicated (5 different locations) wedding day with over 350 guests, and if anything went wrong on day of, I wouldn't know since I was blissfully kept out of it =) Thanks again for everything!
I had a terrible experience working with Cinthy from A touch of Grace. Your wedding planner is supposed to take the stress out of wedding planning and make your life easier, right? Yup, that is what I thought too. But this was not the case with Cinthy. I am not the type of person to get stressed out- I am very level-headed, but working with Cinthy made me stressed and overwhelmed. I would say I wanted things one way, and she would do THE EXACT OPPOSITE. At first, I thought maybe it was me- things kept going wrong, so I felt I had to reflect and make sure I was being clear. At that point, I sent all of my correspondence with Cinthy to friends and family members who were helping and they confirmed it was not me, it was indeed Cinthy. And, to top it off, once she started to included other vendors, they would call me asking for clarification because what Cinthy was sending them did not make sense at all (Ramekins, who was great, could not figure out why she had the floor plan the way she did- it was not as we discussed. The Photographer (KREATE- AMAZING!) said the timeline was completely off. and the list goes on.) We even had our officiant and the company doing our dessert complain directly about her to us. I would NOT recommend you work with this company, especially if they assign you Cinthy as your planner. Our wedding did come together the day of, but that was due completely to our other vendors and my bridesmaids stepping up to the plate to get shit done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I hate writing negative reviews. But, my wife and I feel like we shouldn't subject anyone else to this level of incompetence.
At first, as a soon-to-be-husband, I thought my fiancé might be being a bit harsh. It's a stressful time and people can get a bit overzealous. That was until I started to deal with Cinthy and Touch of Grace.
I won't detail ALL of the mistakes, misunderstandings and blunderings that ensued over the course of planning.
But, just a sliver of the possible examples, we had fourteen members in our bridal party....she sent us a schedule with four people. After walkthrough, she sent us a schematic that was entirely off: Incorrect placement of tables, wedding party and alter. The coupe de grace??? She sent the DJ off for dinner right before we needed music, microphones, etc. No kidding she told the DJ to take his break at the exact opposite time than any lucid adult would do.
Let's suffice to say that Cinthy added lots more stress to the planning than necessary. Ultimately, my wife instructed her to only send information to her mother. My bride then did the only thing possible, she planned everything herself (with the help of her mother and our friends).
We complained to Cinthy many times. We asked her very nicely to pay better attention, communicate better and listen to our direction. They did provide another planner the day of, her name was Amanda. And, she was helpful and capable.
One last tidbit, we asked for at least some our money back as Touch of Grace essentially charged us to plan our own wedding. Touch of Grace asked us to please privately tell them about what we didn't like. But, that we would receive no refunds. I'm not entirely sure how they have good reviews.
Touch of Grace couldn't pay me enough to not tell others about how miserable they were in the process. We had an amazing wedding, really one of the supreme highlights in my lifetime, despite these incompetents.
As a wedding photographer, I have had my fair share of working with all type of vendors. From hair and make up artists to florists to Djs to photobooth vendors. One person that really stands out for us is Cinthy from A touch of Grace. She is just so amazing and does her job with such grace. Every single wedding that we have shot with her, she have gone far and beyond for her clients, guests, and vendors. When someone fulfill their job title, that is great but when they go beyond their job duties and is great at it - that is someone you will want by your side working your wedding!
My now husband and I worked with Cinthy and it was amazing. We were compressing our planning into 6 months and knew we needed serious help. We decided to do the whole planning package, which comes with complete wedding coordination. If you have visited wedding vendor sites you know that there are pretty much 5 billion options for everything. Cinthy worked to understand our vision and feel for our perfect day, and took that 5 billion list and made it into a manageable number for us to research. Each vendor we worked with was not only professionally excellent, but "got" who we were and just matched our personality. That was because of Cinthy. The final 3 weeks before our wedding felt super stressful and crazy because we both were working full time until 2 days before the wedding (and its possible my wedding dress only arrived two weeks before the wedding), but Cinthy handled and took care of everything from vendors. I can only imagine if I had too coordinate vendors and all of those logistics I would have lost my mind. And suddenly, once we were on-site, my stress just melted away. Cinthy took care of everything, and I was able to be fully present. It was an incredible day, and I know that a lot went into that behind the scenes that I never saw, and I owe all of that to Cinthy. If you are on the fence about whether you need a wedding coordinator, the answer is "yes." And you should also work with A Touch of Grace. It is probably the single best wedding gift you will give yourself.
Cinthy is absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend her! Throughout the entire planning process, she was always responsive to us and available to help. She is well organized, knowledgeable, has incredible attention to detail and truly committed to her clients. When we first met her, we knew she would protect us, and that remained true through our wedding day. The day of our wedding, she and her team executed our vision, and went above and beyond. She made sure every detail was as we wanted, and also took care of those details and logistics we hadn't even thought of. We also know she handled issues that popped up that day and never involved us unless absolutely necessary. We felt completely calm the entire day and know a large part of that was the comfort of having Cinthy and her team there.
We hired A Touch of Grace planner Cinthy Walsh for full planning for our wedding on September 9th. She not only delivered on what we agreed on but went above and beyond to create an amazing wedding for us. She was incredibly responsive and helpful during the vendor selection process and answered all of my questions no matter how silly they were. She regularly sent emails full of tips on everything from etiquette to payment schedules as we got closer to the date. I'm an incredibly detail oriented, list making, information gathering type of person so I felt very comfortable in her capable hands.
Our wedding was even better than I could have imagined and I know it's because she was managing everything. She's very straightforward about everything and very creative and thoughtful and included little touches in our wedding that I never thought of (flip flops for dancing!). I can't even begin to imagine what our wedding would have been like without her. Thank you Cinthy and your team for everything!
We hired Cinthy to help us plan our wedding (in 3 months) and handle day-of coordination. Cinthy was such a help in the planning process, both in terms of coordinating and sharing the wealth of knowledge she has about wine country weddings. She helped steer us toward the right vendors for our needs and kept us on-task through the entire planning process. One of the best things about having Cinthy on your team is that she will give you honest, no-nonsense advice that comes from years of experience in the wedding industry. Best decision made was hiring Cinthy! She worked with us to plan the wedding in the way we needed her. Cinthy is professional, practical, super responsive and resourceful. More importantly, she is kind, funny, calm and someone you like being around. It's very fitting that her company is named "A Touch of Grace" - Cinthy has a TON of Grace! On the wedding day, she and her team made everything happen seamlessly. We were able to enjoy the amazing day - knowing all was being handled! That was awesome! Friends suggested hiring a "wedding coordinator". Did not think it was necessary but took their advise. I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding!
Having compared notes with others regarding their experiences and observing many other coordinators, I would say Cinthy is at the top of the list! You will be very, very pleased to have her help you!
A Touch of Grace really knows how to get the wedding done! Our consultant, Cinthy, was priceless! She helped every time we asked. Even last minute requests, she got it done. She's the best!
I was planning two weddings in one day - a traditional Hindu ceremony and a western ceremony - and I quickly realized I needed help. I contacted a number of wedding planners and Cinthy at A Touch of Grace spent the most time with me upfront understanding what I needed and was looking for. Her rates are also incredibly reasonable. Going with her was one of the best decisions I made. You can tell Cinthy has done this before, and even though she doesn't "specialize" in multicultural weddings she was so knowledgable about what was needed for a Hindu ceremony - including who to hire for the Mehndi ceremony, baaraat, DJ, etc. We didn't hire her to help with the Sangeet the day before but Cinthy ended up making recommendations for venues, catering, rentals - she even helped with setup Friday evening. She just went above and beyond to make sure the day was smooth and as unstressful as possible. Cinthy was also excellent at a working with a lot of different personalities (my Fiance and I didn't have strong opinions on a lot of things and Cinthy helped nudge us towards a decision when we were clueless, my in laws have opinions about a lot of things and Cinthy was always patient and accommodating, no matter what). She was organized, responsive, helpful and just a pleasure to work with for the entire 7 months - I highly recommend her!
