Abby was brilliant in every aspect of planning our Reception/Party! She made the entire journey an absolute wonderful experience for us!

Abby was one of the best investments we made for our daughter’s wedding. She was recommended to me by a friend, and I have already told other friends they HAVE to use her when their kids start getting married. She is extremely organized, assertive and very current with her ideas. She works beautifully with the other vendors and had a great working relationship with the hotel wedding coordinator. Having Abby by our side made the last few weeks and especially the wedding weekend so enjoyable. She made detailed timelines for the wedding party and vendors so everyone was on the same page and knew exactly where they should be and when. There are so many details that need to be executed during the wedding and she did it perfectly, so the day was so special and relaxing for our family and guests. Our photographer messaged me after the wedding and told me that our wedding was “one of the most relaxed, seamless wedding days I’ve ever been a part of!” Abby was amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend her!

Abby was a FANTASTIC asset to make our wedding day and weeks leading up to it run smoothly! We opted for the 6 week package but Abby made sure to let us know we could reach out whenever we had a question. She is reliable, creative, caring, and patient! I had no idea how to convey what I wanted when it came to decorating and she was able to be on site and help me create gorgeous pieces for our day. She handled all things big and small. Her website/platform helped my husband and I stay on task for what we needed to accomplish. Highly recommend!!

The best wedding decision we made was hiring Abigail Church (Abby) of “A Wedding Come True” as our wedding planner for our daughter’s 200+ guest wedding at The Oliver Building in the West Bottoms of Kansas City. As a MOB not living in Kansas City, whose daughter was both working and going to graduate school, it was incredibly important to have someone we could trust to understand my daughter’s vision and then be on top of things and get them done. Abby did just that and more. She was incredibly calm, organized, and responsive; a wealth of local vendor information and recommendations; and just all in all, a joy to work with. She kept us on track and on our toes, making sure we met important deadlines. When the wedding weekend finally arrived, both my daughter and I were able to relax and enjoy the moment, confident everything was going to come together, which it did beautifully. After my husband and I returned home, we received wonderful compliments from family and friends about every aspect of the wedding, a further tribute to all her hard work and dedication. We will be forever grateful to Abby for truly making this “A Wedding Come True” for our daughter.

Abby was absolutely amazing! She made my life so much easier from the minute that she stepped in. She took charge without being pushy with suggestions on anything and everything. She is a true professional, but also has a wonderful sense of humor. Just a joy to be around. I would definitely recommend Abby. She helped make my wedding day the most magical day ever!

Abby is amazing! Our wedding day would not have come together perfectly without her. Abby is so kind, professional, and resourceful. I was able to meet with Abby multiple times throughout the wedding planning process and she provided all of the resources I needed to stay organized and to make sure I didn't miss any details. On the day of the wedding, I had brown bronzer spill on my wedding dress and before I could freak out Abby was already there with Shout wipes. She made everything so stress free and I couldn't recommend her services enough. Truly, my day would not have been as magical as it was without her!

A Wedding Come True LITERALLY made all of our wedding dreams come true! As we started the planning process, we knew that we needed the help of a professional - and we are so lucky that we were able to work with Abby! Abby is exactly what you want and need out of an event planner - she is extremely organized, efficient, and keeps you on schedule! She goes above and beyond for her customers and is an extremely calming presence in the midst of a pretty chaotic time. We had an incredible wedding planning process with Abby! We chose the full planning package, and it was our best decision. She started working with us about 12 months before we got married. She was very involved with vendor selection and recommendations. She reviewed and revised contracts that saved us money, and we felt confident signing them. We had monthly meetings with her to discuss immediate to dos, and the check list function in the website she sets up for you are so helpful. We could email or text her before the meetings if anything came up. She was super responsive in between our monthly meetings, and we never felt like we were bugging her with the littlest of details. The day of coordination went very smooth. She was helpful in helping us customize small details of our ceremony. She came up with a timeline for the wedding day that captured every minute of the day. We felt incredibly supported throughout the entire process. Our families loved her. During our wedding week, everyone kept asking us why we were so calm. Our response? “We have an amazing planner who is coordinating everything between our vendors. She’s really letting us enjoy this week leading up to our big day.” I wouldn’t have any reservation about working with her!

When my only daughter Angela got engaged being her father, I was extremely excited but also started thinking about all the planning that needed to take place. I knew this was going to be even more challenging since my wife and I live in Illinois and my daughter lives in Kansas and she decided she wanted to get married in Kansas. Knowing my daughter and my wife I knew there was a good chance the planning could be challenging and stressful for both of them. Therefore I decided to look into the possibility of hiring a Wedding Planner. One of my goals was not only to make sure the wedding day was Wonderful and enjoyable but that the process was also enjoyable. I spoke with multiple Wedding Planners before I decided to hire Abby from “A Wedding Come True”. Besides all of the Great reviews (and I read them all), I was impressed with Abby’s sincere enjoyment and excitement to be able to work with couples in planning one of the most important days of their lives. My wife and daughter didn’t know I was looking at hiring a Wedding Planner, in fact I told them after I hired Abby. I will admit at first my daughter was a little concerned that she may lose control of making certain decisions. I assured her, this is her wedding and Abby is there to assist in guiding her not making decisions for her. After her first meeting with Abby, the concern was gone. I thought so at the time and now I can confirm, hiring Abby to assist with the planning and execution of my daughter’s wedding was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It became obvious very early that Abby loves what she does. She immediately met with my daughter and her fiancé, discussed the planning process and timelines, assured them she is there to assist and guide them and to make sure their wedding day would be a day they will remember for the rest of their lives. Abby is a true professional, she assisted in every aspect of the planning process. Abby has many contacts within the industry which made the process a lot easier when it came to picking the Venue, the Caterer, the Florist, she was able to provide multiple options for each and was upfront and transparent of her experiences with each. Abby told me very early on in the process, that the day of the wedding we would not need to worry about anything just to enjoy the moment. She was right, Abby took care of everything, if there was a challenge and there is a good chance there will be, Abby took care of it. Example, the day of the wedding we found out they closed the street in front of the venue, due to work they were doing on the road, well I don’t know how she did it but Abby was able to get the road opened in a safe manner so our guests didn’t have any issue getting to the venue. I knew early on I made the right decision to hire Abby, just a few months into the process both my wife and my daughter agreed. As I mentioned earlier, Angela is my only daughter and I wanted her wedding to be Wonderful and as least stressful as possible and hiring Abby was the Best thing I could have done. As the Dad-zilla, I wanted someone my daughter would feel comfortable and trust but then someone who "got" what we wanted in terms of an overall experience on Game Day- stress free, all details handled, no drama, and professional; perfection. Basically we wanted nirvanna and found it with Abby. All the details, the focus, the drive, the "I got this, say no more" attitude allowed our family to live in the moment and not sweat the small stuff. She thought of the details us first timers would never imagine, managed both the personal and business side of the process, and was always calm when our nerves began to flare. She gave us plenty of time and guidance so we could enjoy the process as much as the day and was always ready with a suggestion or tip when our brains were empty. Among the best compliments I can give to Abby, and referrel for anyone else on the fence, was the number of times in the last several days where I would ask for something only to be told she had already anticipated/completed the item or was in process of addressing the concern. It gave me great peace of mind and allowed me to really hone in on my rambling 20 min toast. If she's available, just hire her and don't look back. It will be the best decision you make in planning your special day.

We cannot say enough good things about Abby - she is thorough, patient, kind, and GETS IT DONE! From the initial meetings and information, to the very last hour of our event, she went above and beyond. She understood our vision and met with us (without any parents or friends initially) and really kept our priorities at the forefront. She did a fantastic job initiating and delegating with our wedding party and family at the rehearsal (really was like herding cats for a bit there!). AND she kept everything so organized and remembered EVERYTHING - for example, we bought all of our tablecloths, but had to add a table to our seating chart as we neared our date so had to rent 2 more. Before she left, Abby separated those two tablecloths so that my mom wouldn't have to look for them and differentiate them from the ones we bought. It was so above and beyond and extremely helpful. She was also very conscious of some of our sensitive family dynamics, and really helped us avoid any awkward moments. We are so grateful that we hired her, and she was worth every penny. The peace of mind that she brings to your event will be a game changer!

Abby is nothing short of amazing and everything we needed in the planning process and on our wedding day! She was the first wedding coordinator that I spoke to that didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing the answers to her questions. She dedicated herself to making sure everything went exactly how myself and my Dad-zilla intended. I have no idea what we would have done without Abby! Twice during the day, she got on the ground and helped stitch up my dress when it ripped. I have great memories of my day because of Abby, and I am happy to say that she is part of those memories too!!

I could not be in more agreement of all of the amazing 5 Star reviews written about Abby . She is simply put - unbelievable in her role as a wedding coordinator.! We hired Abby as a full -time coordinator shortly after my daughter's engagement. Abby was the PERFECT fit for us! Her warmth, kindness, professionalism and attention to detail made every step of the planning process enjoyable and relaxed. She is incredibly connected and respected by all vendors that we worked with, and it is easy to see why once you work with her. Although my daughter and her groom had an amazing vision of their dream wedding day, Abby only added to the vision with her extra ideas and no detail was overlooked by her. Going into the day of the wedding knowing that Abby would take care of ANYTHING, big or little, that might arise made our day incredibly joyful and stress free. I would absolutely recommend Abby to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator who is present to make sure your dream wedding takes place!!

Abby was absolutely amazing! She made the planning of our wedding so easy and seamless that we were able to just relax and enjoy our day. I cannot recommend Abby enough to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator!! She is simply amazing! We met several times throughout our year-long engagement where she provided invaluable insight and recommendations to help make our wedding day dreams become a reality. She was always early to our meetings, super fun to work with and very professional when coordinating all of our vendors. Best of all, I didn't have to lift a finger on my wedding day. Abby took care of absolutely everything, down to every last detail and allowed us to enjoy every minute of our day. She handled last minute changes with ease and even went above and beyond once the party was over. She stayed to clean up our venue so we didn't get charged a cleanup fee, and made a special trip to my house to put all of our left over food in the fridge so it didn't go to waste. Abby is definitely one of the best, if not the best at what she does! She has ridiculously high standards, pays very close attention to details, listens to what your vision is, and works tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure every aspect of your day is pure perfection! She is by far the best decision we made during the wedding planning process!

Abby was the wedding coordinator for my daughter's wedding on 5.28.2022 at Feasts of Fancy with 165 guests in attendance. We hired Abby to be our full-service planner in Oct 2021. In a word Abby is fabulous!!! She embodies "A Wedding Come True". There wasn't a situation in which Abby didn't have a ready solution or in fact wasn't already steps ahead of us to solve, tweak or perfect. She is elegant, poised, a phenomenal communicator, so exceptionally organized. It was clear how much all of our vendors loved working with Abby. We received so many compliments on how beautifully the ceremony, cocktail reception and dinner/dancing all flowed She was the ultimate planner!!

Simply stating Abby as wonderful doesn’t even begin to cover it. I’ve known Abby for a number of years, and when I got engaged I knew she was the one I wanted helping me. Everyone involved on the wedding day raves about her. She was so supportive and gave great advice on any and all questions I threw her way. She was there to help us for the 6 weeks leading up to the wedding, rehearsal dinner and wedding day. You can tell she absolutely loves what she does and everyone who was part of our big day couldn’t stop complimenting on how amazing she handled it all. From set up to tear down, she was on the ball. I can honestly say I would not have gotten through it all without her.

Abby was a HUGE part of our wedding day. We had her assist very early on in our wedding planning process and I wouldn't have it any other way. She was always there when we needed her and answered all questions (no matter how dumb). She really has an eye for things and is extremely trustworthy. Don't know what we'd do without her. She is the best! Our wedding day was perfect with no issues whatsoever!

Abby was an absolute dream to work with for our November wedding. We chose 6 week coordination and I couldn't be happier! Abby was there for all of the stressful, last minute details and she did it with a smile on her face the entire time! She was so helpful and sweet every step of the way. She also did ALL of the decorating the day of- that alone was enough to be worth it. Having a wedding coordinator truly made it so I could enjoy my wedding which is something I don't think I would be able to say if she hadn't been there. Book book book! Abby is completely wonderful! She helped us through our planning process and made sure everything was set the day of! She contacted vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page! Abby has so many connections in the KC wedding industry she helped us with rentals and everyone she recommended was fabulous!!! On the day of, Abby was truly instrumental in making sure everything ran smoothly, whenever there was something that needed to be done Abby was already on it! My mom said every time she turned around Abby was already doing what she was about to do, my family and myself were all able to relax and celebrate our marriage because Abby was there and taking care of everything! ABBY ABBY ABBY!! WOW... Literally speechless for how organized, calming, and wonderful she is. When it comes to wedding planning she will make it what you want your day to look like, but at the same time has amazing ideas if there are portions that you don't know how to handle. From helping with invitation formatting and wording to the whole production of making sure that your special day runs smoothly, Abby does it all. Literally, everything!! Having Abby throughout the last 6 months of the planning process was a live saver for both me and my mom lol. She is the calming presence in the crazy wedding planning storm! I cannot sing her praises enough and will recommend her to anyone and everyone. No matter the personality or type of wedding you are trying to have, Abby is your gal! Don't make the mistake of not hiring a planner. They do so much and take so much off your plate so you can just enjoy your wedding day with no stresses or worries.

If you’re unsure about hiring a coordinator, consider the benefit of a single point of contact for your event army – wedding venue, reception venue, florist, photographer, caterer, DJ, and more – when things are going absolutely bonkers in the final days of preparation. Abby did a really wonderful job! We were looking for a calming, power house for behind the scenes and we definitely got that with Abby. She encouraged our ideas every step of the way and was so patient with the many changes (we literally changed our minds about everything a dozen times!). All day of the wedding I was waiting for the one "snafoo" to happen and it literally neverrrr did because Abby had everything down. We gave her A LOT of big jobs, from taking the tons of booze we'd bought from our house to the venue morning of, the day of telling us we only wanted the freshest of donuts picking them up from Lamar's, putting together a 6x6 donut wall, coordinating all the times and all the people and somehow managing to get it all neatly packed up on our porch the night of. But truly the best bit for me was that she did it all without a single hiccup or question my way which is exactly what I wanted, to be able to fully enjoy our wedding day and Abby allowed me just that. We are so grateful we had her and cannot recommend her enough!

We had a wonderful experience with Abby! She excels at this job. Extremely responsive and handled everything on our wedding day to the point that I didn't have to worry about anything (shocking if you know me)! We even threw in a few curve balls (unintentionally) and everything still went off without a hitch. Highly recommend Abby!!!

I was blown away by the amount of planning and details that goes into a wedding…and I like to think of myself as an organized person but having Abby’s guidance and assistance throughout the process was priceless. She checked in with me consistently, always offering suggestions when I had no idea what to do and provided me timelines and checklists to ensure I was thinking of everything. Abby couldn’t be there for my actual wedding (she was having a baby 😊) but her lead, Ali, was incredible as well. She had been a part of our final meetings and even picked up items from my home that we were using for the wedding (signs, chargers, programs, etc.) On my wedding day, Ali took care of EVERYTHING. I truly didn’t have to worry about anything besides enjoying the day. She kept everyone on time, she coordinated with all my vendors, she had tide to go pens when one of my bridesmaid’s got make-up on her dress. If you ask my now husband, he loved how she kept his drink full during the reception lol. Abby and Ali are amazing, I can’t recommend them enough. Hire Abby!!!

Having Abby as my wedding planner was one of the best decisions I made! She is extremely organized and efficient and one of the most friendly people I have met. Abby has many connections in the wedding planning industry and was able to help me plan every single part of my wedding. The vendors she suggested were great and I used all the ones she told me about including the venue, flowers, music, hair/makeup, photography, etc. She always had a flexible schedule when setting up meetings and was on top of all the planning. My wedding turned out perfect and I highly recommend Abby a million times over! She made wedding planning fun and mostly stress free :)

I don't know where to start with this review- Abby MADE our wedding. Period. Without her, I wouldn't have had the best day of my life turn out so seamlessly. She is compassionate about what she's doing and is incredibly friendly and professional. She helped me with every details and took the reigns the month before the wedding to ease my stress, even though I had hired her almost two YEARS before our big day. She worked with me with every last minute change and was a badass the day of- don't let that smile fool you, she isn't a force to be reckoned with! She was there with me all day and coordinated it all without breaking a sweat. (And did I mention she was about 9 months pregnant at the time). You will not find the quality and value of service elsewhere- take it from a bride that had to reschedule during a pandemic and didn't have to worry about a thing <3 Thank you again Abby!

Abby was great as a day-of coordinator on our wedding day! We weren't in need of her full planning services so I contacted her and asked if she could offer us a package tailored to our needs and price point. She was very flexible and did not disappoint!

Everyone knows how stressful planning weddings is. Words cannot describe helpful and amazing it was having Abby as our planner & coordinator. She will move mountains to make sure your big day is exactly how you want it to be. Honestly, I was the kind of bride that wasn't great with the details and I overlooked a lot. We started working with Abby 6 weeks out from our wedding. But she went above and beyond for me way before those 6 weeks started. I met with her 8 months before and she laid out everything I needed done with a timeline in that first meeting. She was periodically checking in, helping out where I needed it, keeping me organized, offering me ideas & suggestions and so much more. Once we had her full time we were always meeting to discuss schedule, vendors, attending vendor appointments, etc. I really couldn't have done it without her. To make a long story short on the day of my wedding, the transportation I booked to my ceremony didn't show. Abby not only drove me and my mom to the Church, but organized rides for all of my bridesmaids to get there on time. I will never forget that and I will always be SO grateful. She is so talented, professional and fun to work with. I am so grateful to have gotten to know her through this process. Abby thank you so much for everything, we could not have done it without you!

As the groom, we're not always involved in every little detail of the wedding planning. Honestly, its easy to overlook all the things that need to be handled. I can't express enough thanks and appreciation to you and your assistant for being the ones along side of Rae throughout all of this. You are calm, detail oriented and flat-out just get things done! There are not enough stars for my recommendation of A Wedding Come True. Abby was unbelievable! I am the grooms mother, and Abby was a gift to my future daughter-in-law and Son as both her parents and his, lived out of town. My Son went from saying “ Mom, we don’t need a wedding planner” to “ask Abby”, “Make sure you ask Abby”, to thanking her in his wedding toast and telling me he regretted they didn’t get a picture with her on the wedding day. I saw her doing things, ( clearing tables, finishing table decorations) which I told her was not in her job description, and she replied I do what needs done. After dance was over and all guests had left, I went to motel and drove back to Venue for something which was forgotten, Abby was still there and venue was cleared and ready for us to put tables and chairs away. She was totally exhausted, but finished strong! Hiring Abby would be the best possible gift you could give your bride and groom!

Abigail was absolutely amazing and took care of every detail of my daughters Wedding. I am so thankful she was in charge on the big day to take care everything. I was able to truly enjoy the day.

Abby is/was AMAZING! We knew we needed her after seeing her work with my parents for their wedding and I honestly wish we would've booked more time with her. We had a very specific theme for our wedding and she knew exactly what we wanted and was so attentive and detail oriented. I cannot recommend her enough for helping plan and take care of whatever it is you need. She is truly a lifesaver and I can't wait to work with her more!

I honestly don't even know where to begin on a review for Abby. She was SO beyond amazing helping us bring our special day to life. I didn't have to think about a single thing the day of my wedding because I knew I could completely trust that everything would fall right into place. Everyone kept making comments about how calm I was the day of our wedding and it was because we had complete trust in Abby. We used Abby for the months leading up to our wedding and we had several meetings with her to make sure everything came together. She offers different services like day of wedding planning as well but I recommend you use her for the months beforehand. She helped us set up vendor meetings, set up tastings, and made sure everything was paid on time and all the vendors were in contact with each other. She followed up with all our vendors. The timeline she made for us kept everyone on schedule and no one was confused about where and when people needed to be there. Both my husband and I are very organized people so we thought we did not need a wedding planner as I am sure most people think this, and boy were we wrong. I would highly recommend that EVERYONE use Abby to help plan your wedding day!! She thinks of all the little details and is in contact with everyone for you. You can be the most organized person in the world, but you are also living your life and working all the way up until your wedding day. She helps things go so seamlessly. My family all lives far away so Abby made sure she could make it to one of my final fittings to help with my bustling. I had a complicated bustle and she made sure to record it and she knew exactly how to do it right after the ceremony. I had trouble getting dressed with my zipper as I had a side zipper... and she came to the rescue to help me get it fixed. Within 5 minutes of walking into the reception, my new husband stepped right on the back of my dress and it tore the long bustle but Abby had a sewing kit on hand and helped sew it right up. I could write about a million other times and things Abby did to help us but no one wants to read all that. I would So Highly recommend that you choose Abby with A wedding come true for your planning needs.

Worth double the money! Best expenditure of the entire wedding. Abigail is absolutely wonderful to work with - extremely organized and excellent at dealing with details. Low key, no stress, always calm - seriously was amazing! I would recommend her to everyone that is looking for a planner - great person, great service, excellent advice and an amazing coordinator. Could not be more pleased in our selection with A Wedding Come True. Although we were having a smaller wedding and some people didn't think we needed a planner we wanted to ensure that the day was stress-free and wonderful and boy did Abby deliver! I was out of town the weeks leading up to our wedding and Abby stepped in and executed flawlessly. She met with vendors and brought ideas to the table we haven't even thought of. The day of the wedding she managed everyone and everything while remaining calm. Even when it started to downpour rain on our outdoor wedding Abby helped guest bring their food to the table while holding umbrellas for them (the ones she thought to bring!) . She help wrangle our dogs that were in the wedding and even packed food away for us so we would have something to eat the next day. I received several complement from family and friends about what an outstanding and professional job she did and they are a picky crowd. The minute Abby was on the job I never had to worry about a single detail, she truly allowed me to relax, remain calm and simply show to up our wedding and truly celebrate with our family and friends, just the way we wanted to.

We had the pleasure of having Abby as our wedding planner for our wedding on March 3rd and honestly, I don't know where to start. She was AMAZING! We worked with her for a full year leading up to our wedding day, meeting once a month. Our wedding would not have been half the wedding it turned out to be if it hadn't been for her help. She is so organized, was always available and able to be reached, and contacted and recommended the BEST team of vendors. She attended vendor meetings with us and was the point of contact for all of the people involved in the wedding throughout the planning process and the day of. She also helped us stay on track with our budget and meet all of our deadlines! Most importantly, on the day of the wedding, she stayed so calm and relaxed- and made sure our day was completely stress free!! She truly was the best!
